((... I'm tired of waiting for you guys! Yes, I am even more impatient then Risa in getting this plot started!!! *throws a fit.* So, even though Ian isn't back to normal in the other thread, I had to start it now, that way you guys can work on him being back, and not making me wait to torture you both! mwhahahahahha!))
It had been two weeks since the return of the Logan, Ian, and Rose. Of course, they'd brought along many unexpected guests, like Rika, Meav, Sky, and the one called Black Cat. Meav was on the slow road to recovery and given a private room to recover in silence, Ian had been mended up and brought back to his senses, of course the Professor had roamed his mind as a precaution before they untied the poor boy. And Rose?
Well...
Hazel sighed, closing her book. Since the events of two weeks ago, things had quieted down, thank God. But one thing still worried her. Rose's self induced coma. Sure, the dangerous amount of drugs she'd been given were a small factor, but not enough to cause a coma. There was nothing else wrong with the girl, she just refused to wake up. So every morning Hazel would go into the room to check on the 15-year-old, sometimes getting a new IV bag hooked up, done her regular check up, and left.
She would check on Rose from time to time, but left most of the watching to Rose's sister, Sky, and her cousin Parker. This morning though, Hazel had sent both to rest. She'd alert them if there were any changes.
Rising to her feet, Hazel sighed. Time for her morning check up. Exiting the small office, she crossed to the door that led to Rose's private room. At her bedside, Hazel did the usual things. Checked Rose's blood pressure and pulse, changed the IV bag, and adjusted the machines a little. She was turning to leave though, when she heard something.
Movement.
Hazel paused, turning back, her eyes wide as Rose's eyes... slowly fluttered open...

The first emotion that crossed Rose's mind as she opened her eyes was confusion. She wasn't sure what was going on... What was down her throat, or where she was! Why was she staring at a white ceiling? Why was a dark haired woman instantly hovering over her, carefully removing the thing down her throat? What was it? Her gaze flickered to the thing, a breathing tube? Was she... in a hospital?
The woman was smiling softly, as if she knew Rose. Was this woman a doctor? She wasn't wearing a white coat though... Didn't all doctors wear a white coat? She didn't know. She couldn't remember.
Then the woman was asking her a question, 'How are you feeling?'. Her voice was soft, reassuring. Very doctor like. "Fine..." Her voice was parched, as if she hadn't spoken in some time. "Where... Where am I? Are you a doctor?"

Hazel was overjoyed that Rose was finally awake! Thank God! No more worrying about when the girl would wake up, or if she'd wake up at all. But... Why did Rose look so confused? Well, it was probably understandable. The last thing Rose would remember would be Ian drugging her. She was probably wondering how she got there, or what had happened since that time. Hazel would be happy to explain all in good time. Now, she had to get a few precautionary questions and tests out of the way.
"How are you feeling?" Hazel tried to reassure the girl, wearing a warm smile, sitting on the edge of Rose's bed as she waited for a response.
Well, what a relief. Rose didn't have any problems speaking, so that ruled out any vocal damage from her coma. But then... Rose spoke again.
Hazel's smile vanished. She fought the urge to squeak out a 'what?', in surprise. Did... Rose not know where she was? Or who Hazel was? Oh, God... Hazel was on her feet, to the doorway almost immediately. "Hank!" He was somewhere in the Infirmary, Hazel knew that much. "Rose is awake! But... We have a problem!" She paused again, trying to think fast. Oh God, this was bad! And if Hazel guessed right, Sky and Parker would be here soon. And when Ian saw how frantic those two were.... "Don't let anyone in here! Especially those three!"
She had to keep the three out. If they came now... Oh, they would be in for a terrible shock. She knew though... If the three were determined enough... Even Hank McCoy wouldn't be able to stop them!

Hank was in the infirmary, doing work for Meav, Ian and Rose. There were also a few minor injuries from students and the older mutants over the past weeks he tended to. David had even come in from time to time to ask about their other patient, Chez. Apparently the two of them knew each other somehow, and even the pup Faolan was glad to see Chez.
He was just cleaning up around the area when he suddenly heard Hazel call for him. He looked in the direction of her voice, happy that Rose was awake, but it instantly was gone when she said something was wrong. He quickly made his way to where Hazel was, then giving a nod and walking over to the door, closing and locking it. He knew what would happen if the three got in here and saw Rose the way she was. No doubt they would turn on Ian and blame him for this. That's the last thing they needed.
"What is it, Hazel, what's wrong?"

Hazel knew that if Sky or Parker were determined enough, they would just mind control one of the two to unlock the door and let them in. Or Ian might use his speed to try and break it down. Either way, they only had so much time until somehow those three were here. She waited in silence as Hank entered the private room in which Rose had called home for two weeks, a worried look on her face. "Rose doesn't know who I am." To some, that didn't seem like a big deal. To Rose, who had seen Hank and Hazel more times then could be counted? That was impossible!
After another moment's silence, she looked to the 15 year older again, who was sitting up and staring curiously around the room. Taking a few steps forward, she smiled warmly. "If you're up to it, I have a few routine questions for you." Rose nodded. "Okay. Do you have any siblings?" A short pause so Rose could answer. "What about friends? Who is your closest friend?" Another short pause. "Your birthday?" Again, a pause. "Do you know your name?"

Rose was puzzled. Where was this place? Was it a hospital? Wouldn't it have a window to the outside if it were a hospital though? Sure, there was a window, but the blinds were closed. It probably was just so people could look in, probably the doctors. There was an IV in her arm. Why did she need an IV? Then, that doctor was yelling for something. She didn't quite understand what the woman was saying. But, her guess? She was talking to another doctor, because she heard heavy footsteps approach.
Looking to the doorway, she blinked in sheer surprise. A giant... blue man? The way he and the doctor spoke though, this must be the other doctor. A giant, blue, doctor. Weird...
Rose was sitting up, looking everywhere around the room, as she waited for the doctors to address her again. When they did, it was the woman, saying something about routine questions. She quickly nodded. The sooner this was over with, the sooner she could get out of there.
The questions though... Puzzled Rose beyond belief. Siblings? She thought, but she hit a dead end. Slowly... Rose shook her head. No... She couldn't recall any siblings. Friends? Again, she shook her head. Then the big questions came. Her birthday. Rose froze, her expression going from confused to completely horrified. "Uh uh..." And last.... Her name.
"My... name?" Rose paused, racking her brain. "I.... don't remember..."

"It's worse then we thought I'm afraid."
He listened as Hazel asked Rose questions, and Rose didn't remember and couldn't answer. It was just as he thought, having seen reactions to these cases most of his life as a doctor. Rose had amnesia, but how he wasn't sure. He walked around to the side of the bed, making sure not to stand too close to Rose. Being what he was, he was sure that she would be a little nervouse near him.
"Rose, that is your name, my name is Hank McCoy, I'm a doctor, and so is Haze." he gestured to Hazel, "I need you to tell us anything you can remember, and if you have any questions, I'm sure we'll answer them to the best of our abilities."
He was more worried for Rose then the situation she was in. He was sure that if Parker and Sky knew what conditions she was in, Ian would be more then injured, he'd probly end up dead. He looked to Hazel with the worry in his eyes, knowing they'd have a big battle on their hands if this were to happen.

Rose's mind was reeling, her eyes closed. Name, blank. Birthday, blank. Friends and family, blank. Who was she...? Sure, she knew some stuff, like what doctors were, and that this was a medical facility, she knew that it was an IV in her arm... She could remember all that, yet her memories.... everything that should have made her who she was, was just... gone!
Every time she tried to remember she met a blank wall. So high she couldn't climb over it. So long she couldn't go around it. So thick she couldn't break through it.
Then the blue man was telling her her own name. Rose? Was that her name? Wasn't that a flower though? Her head was in her hands, trying desperately to remember something, anything, when the blue man, Hank McCoy asked her to tell him anything the remembered. "I don't.... I can't remember anything!" She sounded frantic, utterly terrified. "Why can't I remember anything?!" Something popped near her bedside. A force field, appearing and imploding, just like when she was always upset. But Rose.... looked so confused and disoriented when she saw it.
"Where am I...?" The first question that came to mind, other then why she couldn't remember anything. More and more questions were flooding into her mind.

"Rose, please try to remain calm or you'll-"
He tried to get her to calm down so she wouldn't blow something up with her powers. But unfortunately a forcefeild exploded nearby, thankfully it didn't hurt someone or destroy something this time. He breathed a sigh of relief, and looked to Rose, glad that he had gotten her attention, even with her own powers.
"You can't remember anything because you suffer from a condition called Amnesia. It's only temporary and, with help, you will remember. As for where you are, it's a school. It's called, Xaviers School for gifted youngsters."

What had that been? The blue man, Hank, didn't seem at all surprised to see whatever that had been...
Amnesia? Is that what it was? Did that mean she'd hit her head or something? Been in some sort of accident? Wasn't that how people normally got Amnesia? "How? Why do I have amnesia?!" It was obviously upsetting. She didn't know anything that was going on, what this place was, and to make it all worse, she couldn't tell you the first thing about herself!
"Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?" The name... It sounded familiar, as if she herself had spoken the name many times. But why?! "Am I... A student here?" Why else would the name sound familiar?

"Please, do try to keep yourself calm, Rose, I'm helping you the best I can. We're not sure why you have amnesia, but we're going to help you get through it."
He wasn't sure why Hazel hadn't said anything by now, maybe it was because she felt he was better at this kind of thing? Or perhaps, due to the closeness her and Rose had, she was more affected by this then he first thought. He looked to Hazel, giving her a kind smile before returning his attention to Rose.
"Yes, you are a student here. That feild you saw exploded is a part of who you are."

Hank's words weren't all that comforting. If only because she didn't 'know' him. She must have... but she couldn't remember now. Oh, how confusing this all was! But... Even with his.... ferocious exterior, he seemed to be sincere....
Wait, they didn't know why?But... How was that possible? "You don't know...?" She paused. "How can't you know? Don't people get amnesia when... When they are in an accident or something? They hit their head really hard, don't they?" Oh, how confusing! If she hadn't been in an accident, then how did she had amnesia?
Hazel was staying out of the affairs for now, letting the more... sympathetic Hank handle the situation. Not to mention she was watching the door, for when Rose's sister and cousin showed up. They were always watching her, waiting for any signs... It wouldn't be long now. And when the time came, she might just have to restrain them both from trying to go kill Ian for the mess.
Rose pulled her face away from her hands, looking at Hank in sheer surprise. "I did that...?" Was that possible? Rose was a mutant? If so... How come she couldn't remember it?! Then... "You're a mutant to..." It wasn't much of a question, more like realization, as if finally figuring out why he was so large and... blue.

"Yes, yes in most cases one can aquire amnesia in those cases. Your case is different now, but how we're not sure. Maybe when Sky and Parker show up they will explain things. They're your family."
He made sure to cover the last part in case she would ask who Sky and Parker were. When she realised that she was a mutant, and asked if Hank was a mutant as well, he only nodded, giving a small smile.
"Yes, you're a mutant. Everyone in here is, that's why Xavier called it the school for gifted youngsters. We learn how to use our powers for good, and also teach the basic things one learns in your average school."

Rose was almost.... sulking. She held the covers of the bed in tight grips, staring down at the sheets. They didn't know..? What had happened to her, that would make her forget everything? Then, she heard his words and her head pricked up. Family? Rose had family? "I have... family?" A brother and sister? Or cousins? Or a combination of both? She didn't know. Nothing unlocked in her head from hearing the names...
"Oh..." Was all she said when he said everyone here was a mutant. So... What was it Rose had done? There was something in her head, as if instructions to do something, but she didn't know what it did! She knew how to use her power, but didn't know what it was. "What is it I do?" She paused, staring down at her head. "I don't understand. I know how to do... to do something, but I don't know what it is!"

"Yes, you have family. Two of them are here, waiting for you."
He didn't want to tell her that only two of the members of her family were not wanting to kill her, while the rest were. When she asked what it was that she did, he had to give it some thought. How do you explain that a person could make some sort of forcefeild that she can turn into an orb or into panels to walk on. He then smiled as he just answered his own question.
"You have the ability to, as we call it, create forcefields. You can make them spheres, or small platforms to walk on."
