Hank stood out of the room, but listening in on the conversation. He wanted to interfere, to tell Parker to lay off of her until she's feeling like talking, but he knew Parker would just snap at him or mind control him into walking away. He watched as Parker left, then entered the room and pulled up a chair next to Rose. He looked at her, giving a sympathetic smile and patting her leg.
"Everybody's reaction to amnesia is different, but don't worry, I'm sure we'll help get your memories back in no time. Are you hungry? Thirsty? Would you like me to get you anything?"

"Mm...." Was all Rose said, or, the only sound she made. She didn't feel like talking right now. She was annoyed, and hurt, and angry, and depressed, all wrapped up in one chaotic tornado. Parker was a complete stranger to her, but he was still family, or so everyone said. Yet he was so willing to be so cruel. Why?
She was so confused. Did she really want her memories back? Hank had said she'd been traumatized so badly she intentionally locked away her memories. So... If it was something so bad, did she want to remember them? Would it make her feel better? Or would it only send her into an inescapable slump again? When he mentioned food though, she slowly nodded. Of course she was hungry. When was the last time she'd eaten? She didn't know. Then, more questions came to mind. What were her favorite foods? What foods did she hate? She couldn't even recall such tiny memories like those!

"I'll get her something."
A voice came from the doorway. Ian had a good talking to from Sky and realised that he was one of the tree that would be able to help brinig her memories back. Besides, he helped to get her into this, it was only right that he help get her out. Hank turned and looked to him confused at first, but then smiled and nodded. Ian was gone and in a few minutes he came back with something to eat and drink for her. He walked over and set the tray down on the bed, setting up the legs so it would stand on it's own. He then walked over and sat in the chair next to her.
"It's your favorite. Trust me ok?"

Rose blinked when she heard an unfamiliar, male, voice. She looked over, to find herself staring at the scare rabbit boy. The one that had vanished. Who was he? And why was she thinking of him as a scared rabbit? Great. Now she'd have to get used to calling him his name and not 'Rabbit boy'. Whatever his name was.
Apparently he knew who Rose was though, well to say the least. He seemed confident he knew her favorite foods, even when she didn't. She watched him set up the table to set the tray on, her eyes never leaving him as he finally sat down next to the bed. Moments passed in silence. "I'm sorry. Who are you?"

"Don't be sorry, it's ok really."
He smiled at her, though deep down he wanted to hug her and kiss her. He wanted to tell her he was sorry for what he did and why she was now laying there. He wanted to tell her it would be alright, and he would help her.
"My name is Ian. I'm sure Beast told you about what I did...and...I'm sorry for it." he said, trying to fight back those tears again, "It wasn't my fault. Someone took my friend and turned her against me, then turned me against you."
He took a deep breath, ready for her to scream or yell at him, throw her food and demand he leave. He waited for a bit before he continued.
"But I'm back to how I was before...before I betrayed you. Rose, I know you don't remember, but we're a team. We had a promise to each other, to be each other's bodyguards. That you would protect me and I would protect you."
He had to hold his hands together so he could keep himself from reaching out and taking her hand in his. Another thing he was dieing to do and fighting hard to control.
"I'm going to help you through this, and that's a promise."

The Rabbit Boy took her asking who he was far better than that Parker had. Well that was a relief! He seemed more mentally prepared for it after all. So that probably helped… She smiled a little, a shadow of her former smiles. But…. Her smile seemed less troubled. No longer did the memories of her past cloud her mood and actions. She was… a normal teenager, in a sense?
“Beast?” She blinked, who was Beast? Then she put two and two together. Oh. That must be what they called Hank! She could see why now… “I’m sorry.” She was already apologizing again, yet no real emotional attachment was to the emotion. “I don’t remember you.” Rose paused, almost hesitated. “You’re… not gunna yell at me to, right?”
Ian. That was the Rabbit Boy’s name. But by now? The name had rather stuck… He was telling her things she should remember, things that must have been important to her… She hated not remembering. He seemed sincerely sorry for whatever had happened. “Doesn’t sound familiar…” She hated admitting it. It was a cruel thing to say, but she had to make it clear, so he didn’t expect ‘Old Rose’ reactions from her.
“Just…. I’m not the same Rose. I don’t know where she is…”

"No I'm not going to yell at you. I'd never yell at you."
He smiled to her, and Hank nodded his head when she spoke his name in a question. He walked up and placed a hand on Ian's shoulder, the two looking at each other before Ian smiling and nodding to him, and he gave the same in return. He then turned and walked out of the room, leaving Ian and Rose to themselves. He had to speak with Charles, knowing that things were going to change around here. Ian watched Hank leave before looking back to Rose.
"Don't worry, it's ok if you're not the same." he smiled, though still trying to hide his feelings and reaching to touch her hand, "But we'll find her, it'll just take time. Trust me, she's a great person to know, but don't think that you're not a great person either cuz you are."

Rose slowly looked away, probably to think. He wasn't going to yell at her. Good. She'd already had enough of that for a day. It hadn't helped that this was technically her 'first' day, and she'd be forced to remember being yelled at. No chance of forgetting it... But the way Ian had announced it? That he'd never yell at her... Again, she thought he was talking to the old Rose. The one that was lost. That Rose... must have been really close to the Rabbit B- Ian.
She didn't notice the exchange between Ian and Hank, she wasn't looking at them. She kept her gaze away, on the opposite wall as she thought about everything she'd learned this day. All her memories... All she had, was a few hours. Again, he was talking about the old Rose, the person she should be. Memories made up who you were as a person. So, what type of person had she been? "Great can have different meanings..."

He was a little worried when she looked away, and couldn't help but wonder aboutu what she was thinking of. He didn't care if she didn't know who she was or not, all he cared about was that she was back, and he wasn't going to lose her again. When she spoke next, he couldn't help but wonder what she ment.
"Yeah they can, but so can alot of other words. We just need to concentrate on getting you up and going again." he thought for a moment, then a smile grew on his face, "Hey. You want to see your room? It might help you feel a little more comfortable."

Her room?
Rose almost hesitated, wanting to say yes, but holding back. It wasn't her room, not really. She didn't know where it was, what was in it... But it would reflect who she had been. That might help Rose figure out just who she was! Would it maybe help stir up her forgotten memories? Finally, she shook her head, deciding. "No... Not yet." She wanted to come to terms with a few other things before trying to figure out who the hell she was. Like why the Rabbit boy was treating her with such an overly friendly tone, as if he still expected her to be his best friend. But... Something about his actions, things he said.. It almost made it seem like he was treating her more then just as a best friend.

"That's fine, just take your time then ok? If you need anything just let me know." he said, moving from one side of the bed to the other within a blink of an eye, "I can get it faster then anybody."
He smiled, doing his best not to seem too overly friendly but obviously failing miserably. He wanted to tell her everything, but knew it would all come in time. He didn't know what else to do or say, so he just sat there keeping her company. It was then that he heard the voice of Xavier inside his head and his smile quickly disappeared. He stood up and smiled at Rose.
"I have to go ok, but I'll be back if you want."

Rose didn't seem all that impressed with his moving from side to side in the time it took to blink. She'd already seen him do it before. Probably why everytime she looked at him she thought 'Rabbit Boy', and THEN 'Ian'. How embarrassing would it be if he found out her trouble with his name...
"Okay." Her response was to both his comments, not bothering coming up with anything else to say. Both comments had only required the single word answer, so why bother saying it more then once?

After a while Ian came back into the infirmary where Rose was. He wanted to let her know personally what was going on and where she'd be going, but he didn't want to interrupt her if she was sleeping, eating or just in thought. He stood there, leaning against the doorway and watching her, trying to hide the worry that was behind the smile that showed on his face. Please let her remember me first
((ugh, short posts, but that's all I could do))

Hazel had brought Rose a change of clothes shortly after Ian had left, letting the girl clean up a little. By the time Ian had returned, Rose had showered, changed, and was in the process of braiding her long black hair. It would take to long to blow dry, and she wasn't in the mood to spend half an hour drying her long locks. She was to busy. Trying to figure things out. Sure, she'd been doing the same thing since she woke up with no results, but maybe with enough persistence she'd finally unlock something. Little did she know the dangers of her memories returning in a certain order.
Rose suddenly stopped, looking up to see Ian in the doorway. Just watching her. Yup. Rabbit Boy, most definitely. Just like a rabbit, he wasn't making any sound, sneaking up on her with ease. That irked her a little. "That's kind of creepy, you know." His just watching her in silence that is. She didn't mind his presence, but that didn't mean she welcomed it open armed. He wasn't a friend of hers yet.

He smiled as she was braiding her hair, she still looked as amazing as she did before her memory loss. He still hoped deep down that she wouldn't remember her Nightshade family first and just him. When she looked at him and commented on him being creepy, he gave a small, laugh and pushed himself off the doorway, walking over to a nearby chair and sitting down.
"Sorry, I would've said something but I didn't want to interrupt."
He waited for her to get herself settled before he told her the news on what would be happening between the two. He didn't want to tell her everything, not just yet, but little by little he will help her remember things. If she did start to remember things, however, he would make sure that he would be able to explain each one.
