"I don't fight battles like this, the X-Men do, I'm not even in training yet."
He listened to her as she seemed to be looking to him like he was dumber then he was. He was beginning to wish more and more that she remembered how she use to be. He wasn't liking this new Rose any more then it seemed she was liking him. He was even beginning to question the assignment that Xavier and Hank placed on him, but he couldn't back out of it now, not when he already said he'd do it.
"Well yeah, it's making a big mess of things, but we haven't seen him in a while now." he stopped when she asked if it should be obvious, "I'm no good with the obvious."

X-Men? She'd heard Hazel mention the term, but had no idea what it meant. But to her? It sounded silly. She put the thoughts aside though, somehow getting annoyed. He was probably getting annoyed with her to. Rose had learned pretty quick that you were easily annoyed when you didn't have any memories. Because people said things that you had no idea what they were talking about.
"Oh." Was all she said. She didn't bother coming up with any else to say. She didn't have to. She didn't want to. And she didn't need to. Right now, more then anything, she wanted to meet someone that had no clue who she was! Let her talk to someone who didn't expect certain responses or reactions from her.

Ian sat back in the chair, the silence that seemed to have been growing between them after she spoke. It was more uncomfortable to him than anything he had ever been through. As he sat back in the chair, he couldn't help but realize that the chair was comfortable. It a few moments he began to grow tired and even start yawning. He stood up and stretched, looking to Rose afterwards.
"I'm gonna catch a few hours of sleep. I'm pretty tired after all that's happened."
