Parker didn't flinch when Hazel yelled. He'd been up against worse...a lot worse. Parker just narrowed his eyes and stood his ground. "I've been through his mind. And he caused this. He was stupid to fall for Alex's trick and he was stupid to fall under Cain's control. If he hadn't been careless, he would have protected Rose, instead of causing all this." Parker took another breath and continued to glare at Hazel. "I'm going to see Rose whether you like it or not." He was tempted to use his power, but he held off. It was only his last resort.

Oh, one of the boys, the one that looked like a scared rabbit, was suddenly gone. He must have a power to fast to see, or teleportation, or something. But why had he been crying? She couldn't figure it out. Didn't teenager boys never cry?
"Why do you want to see...me?" She had to get used to that. Her name was a flower, Rose Rose Rose Rose Rose. And this guy, the one close to her age, wanted to see her? Why? "Who are you?" The words no one wished to ever hear. Especially those close to someone. How they would hurt...

Ian couldn't keep the images out of his head, or Parker's voice saying it was his fault. He ran past students, faculty, and everything else, but to him it was all a blur. It wasn't because he was running fast, but because of all that was going on inside. He didn't even realise he was out of the school until he felt the wind on his face. He could see the gates ahead, his sign of freedom. The only way to escape the world he had now found himself trapped in.
Just get me past the gates. Get me out.

Parker's eyes widened when Rose asked that question. He thought he was over the shock, but...this was different. But, he stayed calm and smiled his rare smile. Her appearance was shocking to him, but it was to be expected, since she was in a coma. Parker took a deep breath to calm himself and to not overreact.
"I'm your cousin, Parker Nightshade. And you're Rose Nightshade. We were really close..." Parker's voice cracked at that. Not just close...Rose was his best friend. "You have a sister, Sky. I don't know why she isn't up here." She probably chickened out on seeing Rose. "Anyway...just know that we're here to help you get your memories back."

Sky just wandered the grounds, when she suddenly noticed Ian running out of the school. It wasn't hard to notice...his mind was screaming, from all the emotions swirling inside him. She was right...he was torturing himself. Ian didn't need any help from her. But, she couldn't help but talk to him.
"I'm guessing you saw my sister..." It was SOOOO obvious, from the horrified look on his face. You didn't need to be a telepath in order to see that.

Ian stopped when Sky spoke. At first he thought it was just his mind playing tricks on him, then he saw her standing by the gate. Why did she have to stand there...his only way out. His eyes were completely red from the tears that were moving down his face. They looked to Sky, almost pleading to be forgiven, but believing that he didn't deserve any.
"Please, I just want to leave. I can't stay here."

Why was this boy so shocked? Did he perhaps know her? That would have been bad then... asking who he was.... But then he was saying his name. Rose frowned. This was her family? Or.. cousin as he introduced himself...
"I don't want to see you." She finally said, little emotion in her tone. She didn't know this boy. She felt no emotion in telling him such a thing. He might though. "If you are my cousin. I'll only disappoint you." Rose walked away, turned on her heels and returning to the bed, crawling back on it, and tugging at the covers, as if to entertain herself.
Family would expect things from her. Things she couldn't meet or give. Best to let them remember the Rose they knew, the person Rose should be right now, then this... Whatever she was now...
Rose was making herself depressed, though not intentionally. What was she now? She wasn't the Rose these people knew. So, she must be an impostor in a way. They wanted the Rose they knew and loved. But... This Rose didn't know where that Rose was...

Sky just stood there, while Ian was crying. But she didn't have any mercy for the kid, like Hazel. Her eyes were cold, filled with pain. "You think I wanna be here?" She whispered. "She's forgotten me, her own sister. You're not the only one in pain! You're just running away from her, you coward! You just don't want to deal with it. Well, you have to." A few tears escaped as she stood there, with her arms folded. Her own eyes were red, but at least she was staying to look after her sister and help her remember.

Parker narrowed his eyes when Rose said that she didn't want to see him. His temper flared up again...it was as if Rose was saying she didn't want to get better! He breathed deeply and went over and stared Rose down, a fire still in his eyes.
"Well, you're going to see me, whether you like it or not. And you're going to see Sky and Ian. We're all going to help you regain your memories. Saying that you don't want to see us is like saying that you don't want to get better! Us three are the only keys to unlocking your memory, Rose. You need to understand that!"

Rose just looked away, unwilling to look at him. Why was he getting so mad at her?! This complete stranger who called himself her cousin! She flinched at his words, a reaction Rose rarely ever had. Why was he being so cruel? He thought she didn't want her memories?! How would he like it if he just woke up, and couldn't recall a single thing about himself, or his friends, or his family. She couldn't even remember her favorite food for crying out loud! "And if I don't remember them?" Her voice was quiet, as if barely able to get the words out. There was always a possibility, when you suffered from amnesia that you never remember the things you forgot.
She finally looked at him, agony in her eyes. "I don't even know you, and you're treating me like I have some disease." A complete stranger was yelling at her, saying something was wrong with her.. Yeah. Great way to make a girl feel better after just waking up from a coma, with no recollection of anything. "I don't want to see you.. Because every time you look at me you expect me to be the person you know. That, in the time you had looked away I just magically remembered everything!" She felt like crying. Why did she have to deal with this now?! Her first memories... She wished she could forget them, go back to sleep and wake up tomorrow and start all over again. With out anyone yelling at her. "I'm not the.... the Rose you knew."

"I never said I was expecting you to be the Rose I know. And you don't have a disease. And I know exactly how it feels." My power is in the mind...I understand your feelings and your mind. Parker sent mentally. He never was mad at her...

"Why should you care whether I'm running or not? You and Parker never liked me around her in the first place anyway right? You always felt I was never good for her. I'm not telepath but even I could see that."
There was a mixture of sadness and anger inside him when he talked. A part of him wanted to go down to Rose and tell her that it would be alright, that he would help her remember everything. But he knew that Sky and Parker would never want him near Rose again, not after what he did.
"I basically proved both of you right, so why are you standing there getting upset with me? You and Parker both said this was my fault, so why keep me around? So you can throw it all in my face day and night?"

Something in Rose's head went on 'Red alert' when she heard Parker's voice in her head. She flinched, mental barriers shooting up. He was eavesdropping on her?! Wasn't that an invasion of privacy?! "Stay out of my head." She meant it to, her barriers mentally threw him out, as if slamming and locking the door on him.
"Why do you treat me like I need to be fixed then? That I'm broken?" She actually glared at him, annoyance building inside her. He was hurt she didn't remember him. He was trying to force her memories out. And he was angry when she just wanted to be left alone, to figure things out.

Parker just shrugged when she said those things. "Just trying to help you understand. You don't want my help, fine. I'll leave." He withdrew from her mind and started walking away. "Have fun on your own, Rose." He then exited the room.

Parker's words hurt. She didn't know the boy, but for some reason they hurt beyond anything she could comprehend. She didn't look at him, didn't respond, didn't do anything but just sit there staring at the opposite wall. Her mind shielded her though. Forbidding access to anyone that dare try to enter it with out her permission. She didn't want people in her head. Reading her thoughts. Eavesdropping on her. Laughing at her confusion, or taking it to an over protective way.
She stayed in control though, unwilling to let her despair show. She'd make herself forget this somehow. Out weigh the bad memory with many good ones. Some how, some way, she'd get over it. She'd figure out everything on her own. She didn't need people who expected things from her...
