::a small rock bounced along the sidewalked, the reason because Tim had kicked it. He looked up at the sky and then down to the sidewalk, sighing as he did. He couldn't beleive how alone he felt now. His friends have all gone to college, and as hard as he tried, nobody would allow a mutant into college. His friends promised they would write him, but so far he hadn't heard anything from them.
He couldn't beleive the luck he was having lately. A dangerous raptor changing mutant, a crazy cop at a mall, sentinels, and now utter loneliness. He looked up at the sky once more, wondering what would come of him now. His hand closed around a small metal cross that hung around his neck::
I know you're watching down on me, but I need your help. I don't know what to do with my life now, and I feel so alone.

Alex had decided to take spring break a week or so before spring break and take a trip by her self to New York city. New York amazed her scene she had stayed in mostly small city's her hole life seeing skyscraper made her feel small and helpless but the people of New York where funny to watch.
As they would run out of there apartments to catch a taxi and then yell at the drivers who passed them buy it made her laugh. as Alex walked around she finally found a small cement ledge to sit on and watch the people pass buy. this area was less corded then where she was before but that was becase this was not a place torest not meaning it was not safe just your normal torest whould not go there.
Alex saw a man kick a small rock down the street and look up at the sky it looked as if he was asking help form "god" or some higher power Alex couldn't help but to start laughing maybe a little to loud even in the big apple people believed god would help them.
Alex had allready had her far sare of "god" and him not helping her if god was real she whould be dead not her brother "god" whould have killed them both. if there was a higher power out there he sure was not on are side.
Alex did stop though to thing right after if there was a god or something that powerful would if help this man so out of the blue she just asked the man the first thing that poped into her head

Huh?
::To say that Tim was a bit stunned at a voice talking to him from out of nowhere was an understatement. He looked around until he looked up on a small cement ledge and saw a girl looking down at him. He had been around New York and recognized many people, but this must've been a new girl here, or someone from out of town. He thought of her question, and couldn't help but wonder if it needed a specific answer. He just shrugged and gave her a small smile::
I pray for a lot of things. What about you?

The guy look confused that Alex was talking to him this just made Alex giggle. People where funny they never seemed to aspect things they always where lost in there own little worlds.
"I don't Pray silly. I HOPE for things that way I'm not disappointed when they don't come true and feel its someone else fault."
Alex hoped down form the ledge smiling at the man
"but i do hope for a lot of things like......"
she though for amonment also trying to make sure that her powers where in cheek so that this man whould not start seeing the random thing that she always saw.
"like for happiness and for a better world you no one with out all the drama of who is what"
Alex had started to get a daydreamy look in her eyes "and that type of stuff i hope for a chance to stop the men who do horrible things to others like the men who.."
Alex quickly caught her self before she said anything to personal she had just met this man he didn't want to know about the brotherhood or the x-men he was just some collage student off the street he wasn't like her.
"i don't know sometimes i just hope for alot of things that i really wish to happen anyway I'm Alex and you are....."

He smiled as he listened to what she said. He couldn't help but find himself agreeing with her about hope, but personally he relied mostly on faith as well as hope. When she introduced herself as Alex, he smiled and gave a little nod.
"I'm Tim, nice to meet you."
He walked over to a nearby bench and sat down, moving to one side in case Alex felt the need to come and sit there as well.
"I hope for things to. No more crime or prejudice, where we can walk outside of our homes and be treated like dirt." He looked down absently, mumbling softly to himself, "Where it doesn't matter if it's mutant or human, but everybody can have a life."

Alex smiled to be polite when he interdoesed him self as Tim she disdide she liked that name it was short and smilple one of those names that everyone in the world should have so no one in confused.
As he walked over to the bench Alex fallowed closely like a puppy dog and sat maybe a little to close to him on the bench.
Eveything that he said made sence she was for being able to walk outside and not worry about crime now she was sure the crime he was worried about where from the hummens when she was much more worried about the crime that the mutants committed. But it was still the same views in life.
Alex sitting so close to him noticed when he mumbled sothly and caught the sentece she was so happy a million thing where going in her head. normally for someone to have that point of view they had to be a muntant them selfs or at lest no someone who is at this point she was o was ready to sream out to the world how cool he was.
Alex jump up on to the bench and pratticaly yelled
"DUDE NO WAY YOU CAN'T BE PROVE IT"
Alex then looked around and relized that she was in public and quickly coverd her mouth and sat back down on the bench.
"i i i I mean um.....that's cool um i see what you mean I um want to be able to not be treated like dirt and walk outside um whatever you said umm hay look there an airplane. "
Alex just then pointed up at the sky where she made an airplane appear there was a small speck in the sky that appeared to be an airplane it was on of her illusions and she was trying her hardest to make it so every living thing whould see an airplane flying in the air.
She was in a panic she didn't want to make a complete full of her self and if this guy really wasn't a mutant then he'd most likely be the most confused guy in the world. And at this point he probuley thought she was off the deep end. she just keep smileing and making sure that the plane would not disappear for them

he watched as she sat down next to him, and couldn't help but smile at the company. He was thankful to have such company when he was feeling lonely. He almost jumped himself and practically yelled out about how he wasn't...wasn't what? He smirked when she stumbled over her words, and he looked up when she spoke of an airplane. He looked at the plane and couldn't help but notice something odd about it. He couldn't point it out until he noticed the jet trails in the clouds. There were none. He looked to the girl, showing he ment no harm by allowing his eyes to turn a shade of green and then back to brown.
Don't worry we're both in the same boat when it comes to things like this I guess.

Alex relaxed when his eye changed color and just smiled not really reacting to them muched. He was a mutant just like her she just smiled.
"Cool"
Alex started thinking about making her eyes a different shade of something it would be easy and she chould do it so only Tim saw so it really wasn't being negligent with her powers as long as she controlled who saw it. but then she thought of all the adults in her life who allways said be carefull with your powers don't use them untill you get full controll, you chould hurt someone she finally diside on not playing with her power at lest not yet.
Alex just then thought of something that didn't strike her before this guy was a mutant she knew he didn't go to the school at lest he wasn't at the school when ever she was there what group was he part of if any. She feard if he was part of one of the evil groups of mutants she chould of just lost a friend, and started to kick her feet back and forth she was thinking for a little bit how to ask the question
"soo I've never seen you at my school so your not exattly in the same boat as me so is there a...group or a team that your on i don't know like the brotherhood or something"
Alex pased for a second
"cuz if your on the wrong team i might have to kill you"
Alex tried to say that last part as cheerful as possible but she wasn't smiling she didn't know if she could kill him but she could send him to a scyk ward for a very long time.

"Well, I'm not really part of any "team". What's the Brotherhood? Sounds like some sort of weird cult."
He looked at her a little curiously, finding the way she was acting to be a little more than weird. But he just decided it was mostly because she was nervous around him. He wasn't sure why though, since they seem to both be mutants. At least he was sure she was a mutant since she didn't run but relaxed when she saw his eyes. Though his eyes twitched a little when she talked about killing him.
"Well since I don't consider evil much fun, I can definetly say I'm not. I did meet a guy who was though. Kicked a cat and threw a girl up into the air while he was transformed into a raptor. We fought in the middle of the street until some girl told us how stupid it was to fight for no reason." He gave a small chuckle, "She had a point to."
He couldn't help but think back to that day, when the whole crowd around him and Vyrin watched as they fought. He couldn't help but notice that many seemed to be cheering him on and even smiled at him after the fight was over. As he thought, he just realised she mentioned she was from a school. He looked to her curiously.
"You said you were part of a school...what school?"

Alex smiled she liked the fact that this guy was confused it meant he was still good he was just one of the mutants who sat on the sideline.
"yea i gess you can call them a cult there a group of evil mutants who are just a bunch of big bullys who want to mess with hummens they attack people for fun they are allways trying to become more powerful so that they can rule the world they have no limets on how far they go to prove that they are in charge it mutants like them who make it so the rest of us can't show are true self's. "
Alex lision to the story about him and the raptor man it made her smile she started to amazin what the fight might of been like. two mutants fighting one of them being a raptor and the other one being well what ever tim powers where she made sure to keep her thoughts to herself and to not thing about it for too long. just when she was actully starting to visulize the fight though Tim asked about the school
"O yea i gess i did say something about school...Yea well the school i go to in the opisite of the brotherhood the staff and students believe that mutants can live with humans you know have normal life go to school, have a job, I go there because I really want to fouse my powers so I'm not always messing up but also because its the best way for me to get contact with the brotherhood when im older and really do some damage to the mutants who killed my brother"
Alex just then relized that she had just then not put the school in the best light and was totally inbarset she started to panic a little but with every thing she said nothing got better her face was getting redder and she was actully feeling small wich so much that she actully was geting smaller to only Tim inch buy inch
"..not that that's what the school wants me to do infact they don't want me having contact with them cuz i'm to young and don't have much control over my powers and and not that I would mean to hurt anyone with my powers and I've never physically hurt anyone mentally um different story BUT that was a tottal mistake. But secne I've been at school I don't think I've hurt anyone because I've gotten better I'm really a good person I mean ahhh the school is a really good program they are good people there and...O never mind"
Buy this time she was two inches tall she was so imbased she had no idea that she had actually sunck her self to Tim. So everyone neer buy but Tim would see her as a normal teen just siting there next to Tim but Tim would see Alex as being two inches tall

Tim listened to her talk about the brotherhood, and couldn't help but wonder about whether he had actually ran into some of them. Perhaps that Vyrin character was part of them, and if that was just a small part, then the rest of them couldn't be any less dangerous.
"Sounds like a group to look out for."
When she talked about the school, he couldn't help but try and hide his laugh as she began rambling on about what she would do with her powers and that the school is able to help her out with it, or something to that extent. He couldn't really understand what she was talking about as she shrunk infront of him. He wondered why nobody else was seeing this.
"So what you're saying is the school is basically a sanctuary for mutants that seek to help instead of hurt. Sounds cool. By the way...did you know you're about two inches tall right now?"

Alex was so scared she had put the school in a bad light she just wantend nothing more then to go away and disapeer but her fears where put to rest when Tim talked about it sort of being like a sanctuary for mutants and she was so relived that he understood her she looked up at him

when he mension that she was 2 inchs tall Alex imdelally vocsed her mind so she was back to normal
"NO man did anyone elese see i was only thinking about you and how big a fool i was and wanting it go away so no one elese saw right"
Alex looked around everyone was going buy there everyday things no one reacted to it
"nope i don't think so normally when stuff like that happens people scream i mean i didn't even know you could see that so just need to keep that in mind quite thinking so hard"
Alex then looked at him and felt bad she felt he needed and explasion for why he was the only one who saw her so tinny.
"sorry about that like i said i really have no control alot of my power in based on emotion what happen there is i can trick the senses sight, sound, taste, smell, touch so yea and i kind of have an over active imagination so strange things tend to happen around me sorry so..yea so anyway what can you do really beside change you eye coler i mean i can go and buy contacts for that.

He smiled when she explained her powers and confirmed his thoughts on what the school was about. It seemed interesting, but he wasn't sure if he would be welcomed. He continued to smile at her when she spoke of how she could basically control the senses of someone to make them hear or see things that aren't really true.
"Wow...remind me not to get on your bad side then."
When she asked about his powers, he was a bit hesitant to say anything. Lately he's be noticing that whenever he changed into that giant green monster, even the mutants start to run away. What was so strange about turning into a green hulk? It's not like anybody else could do it right? But he didn't want her to get scared of him, so he gave it some thought before answering.
"Well...um...I can...increase my strength, and sometimes even my size and strength at the same time. So I can pretty much be a giant if I wanted to. But my powers get out of control to, mainly if I get real angry for some reason."

"wow thats pretty cool so chould you like brake down walls and stuff just like that chould you like bend a medel bar or turn rock in to sand buy like cruching it with your bare hands that whould be cool"
When he stated he didn't have control problums to alexed just smiled
"that's cool I think the abbilty to not have control of a power makes it even better for the mutant cuz then they don't think they are above humans also it seems when people don't have control like us expelly when it tied to emotions they are almost more powerful cuz there using there powers for something they actully care about"
It was just an opinion she had come up with over the years expecally growing up with her brother who had control of his powers.

"I wouldn't mind seeing a movie in 3-D. Been a while."
He smiled a little, though a bit overwhelmed with her questions. He told her he had never tried doing anything like bending metal or crushing things. When she told him that it would be easier for them not to have their powers under control, his smile faded and he looked down absently.
"I wouldn't really say that. The last time I lost control of my powers I blacked out. And when I came back to myself, I was outside in the middle of nowhere. There was a television in a bar nearby that said something about some green monster destroying half of a town."
His eyes widened when he realised what he said. He looked to her with a nervous smile, "Not that it was me of course. It could've been anything right?"
