"yea well 3d not bad untell it starts to "eat" you or the poor fat kid eating popcorn next to you" Alex lestion to Tim as he talked about his feeling with control she figured just as much she had never found anyone who really felt the same about not having full control being a stranth and not a weakness alex put her legs up on to the bench and and held them her chest buy the time he started talking about a time he lost control him self. Alex could tell that the green monster was him it was not hard to put two and two together he had the abbilty to make him self bigger and stronger also his eyes turned green earlier "green monster"it was kinda a dah it was him moment though Tim tryed so hard to cover from it but staying it was not him and there was no way it chould be "you know even if it was you at lest you'd feel bad right and you know what everyone has little bumps in the roads with there powers heck my mom is completely crazy now after I accidentally used my powers on her to make her see well my brother die infrount of her mind chould not handle the stress of seeing her own son die in front of her expecully right after the funeral she was just getting over his death untell i messed up but its not like i meant to and if i could i'd take it back I didn't want to hurt anyone. I just happened but i'm not ashamed of it i still go and see her even though when i go i see the hurt in her eyes and i know shes not all there but becase I did this I know actully what I can do when I put my mind to something" Not wanting to long on the subject to much longer alex hoped off the bench "You want to go for some ice cream or a hot dog or something my treat"

He knew he was just being weird when he tried to deny that the green monster was him. When she started talking about losing control of her powers and causing her mom to go insane, he couldn't help but sympathize with her. After he had become a mutant his whole family turned on him, and only a few friends stood by him. But that changed to when they went into college. He gave an inward sigh at that knowledge, but was pulled out of it when Alex offered ice cream or a hot dog. It was then he realized that he was a bit hungry. He stood up and smiled, glad he had found a friend.
"Sure, I could use something to eat."

Outside a nearby café in the fences the separated the sidewalk a young woman was finishing setting up a keyboard to the pair of amplifiers that belonged to the restaurant. She nervously connected the microphone stand to her keyboard. She cleared her throat and introduced herself, adding that this was her first performance outside of her music classes at school. She explained that she had written all the music herself and that all the background but the piano was prerecorded.
Kaia swallowed and announced that her first was called On The Radio. Most of it was pre recorded it, but her voice was most definitely real. Her style was a bit quirky and different, but she was content with that and her audience didn’t seem to mind it either. However, there was not much of an audience at this particular hour.
After she finished her first song, she caught Tim’s eye and held it for a moment, smiling at him before turning back to her keyboard and announcing her next song, which was called Musicbox and consisted of nothing but the piano and her voice, the complex voices of her instrument waltzing gracefully with her voice.

Though he was glad that Alex and him had become immediate friends, he couldn't help but wonder about her question. Where would they eat at this time of day? There were so many places that they could eat in the city that offered great food that the options were limitless. But his thoughts were taken away when he heard music coming from not so far away.
"Hey, that music sounds pretty good. Let's see what that diner has to offer, what do you think?"
Giving Alex a small smile, he walked towards the diner, making sure she was able to keep up. He opened the door and waited for Alex to go in first. He was raised to be a gentleman and it showed here. When he looked up towards the music, which had finished by the time he got there, his eyes met the girl's and held for only a few moments. When she smiled, he did to, and he was beginning to think this day was going to get better as it went on.

Alex did smiled and fallowed Tim to the dinner she was a little tooken back when he held the door for her but she just walked right through. The music in the diner was different and she couldn't put her finger on what it was. But music it was fun Alex got them a place to sit. When she looked up at the singer she recognized her slightly a girl form school she couldn't quite put a name on it expect that it began with a K. Alex curse for a moment her forgetfulness and looked down at the menu. "so anything sound good Tim" Alex smiled at him

Tim had sat down across from Alex, though his focus was still on the music. When Alex asked him about what looked good to him, he had to shake himself out of his thoughts. The music was nice, and the looked beautiful, and he couldn't help a slight redness in his cheeks as he did his best to hold the menu to a point where it looked like he was reading it.
"Well...I can go for a chili dog and onion rings with some soda to drink. What about you?"

Alex nodic that Tim was not really paying atsion to her anymore and was more intersted in the mucie and the singer she sighed answering his question. "yea a corndog or something sounds good" it then acord to her he was blushing "so what you think she's cute or something I mean she has an amazing voice and all so do you think she's cute or something she about you age i gess" Alex smiled she was starting to see how cute whould it be if she got the to together or something like that

"Y-yeah...I guess she's pretty cute."
He realised she had caught him staring at the girl, and her comment caused his cheeks to turn an even darker shade of red. When she mentioned about a corndog, he couldn't help but wonder if he can toss in some of his money for one. He hasn't really had one of those in a while and couldn't help but wonder about a few things.
"So...does the school have food like this?"

alex was a little surprised buy the question she didn't really know what he ment "umm yea i guess I mean it not like we eat garbage off the streets or anything like that" alex looked up at the singer on stage she still couldn't put a name to her face but she was positive she was a student at the school. then she looked back at Tim. "you know Tim you should go talk to her once shes done singing i'm sure you'll find something in common with her" Alex wasn't going to add in the last part cuz if you dont then i well becase shewantend to see if he took the offer first

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I ment...what kind of food do they have there?"
He hoped he didn't offend or insult her any way. He wasn't making that intention at all. When the waitress came he made his order and waited for Alex to do the same. When Alex made the comment about going to talk to her, he couldn't help but feel a little down. The last girl he had a relationship ran from him when she found out what he was.
"I'd...rather not, Alex, I don't think she'd go for me."

Alex ordered her food when the after Tim and continued on with the confersaion "o that's what you ment" she gave a little giggle "a yea you can eat food like this if you want i mean we have a kitchen and that type of stuff" Alex smiled and started to swing her legs southy so not to disturb Tim but for the fact that she needed to do something with her legs or shed go might go crazy with her ADHD. "soooo why do you care so much about the food at the school anyway you some sort of food cridic or something" she sat for a moment as he said that she might not like him "what do you mean not go for you, you two would be like perfect for each other i mean you said shes cute and your not bad looking your self i mean if i was like 4 or so more years older then i'd go out with you your a nice guy and anyone who sit down and gets to know you should see that" It totally did not acore to Alex that he might not think a relationship was right because he was a mutant or anything she just though he was being shy she her self never had her powers get in the way of anything shed she'd always try to find a way for something to work and if someone didn't like her cuz she was a muntant it wasn't her falt. "you know if you don't go up and talk to her i might have to for you and how imbaring would that be being interdosed to someone buy someone who could be your little sister....expect for the fact that im Asian and im sort and im really wight and look like i've never been in the sun and I have strate hair when your is kind of curly and my eyes are a slighy darker shade then yours and we look nothing alike....." Alex phased for a moment she was having truobles remembering why she was ranting on "O yea so yea I'll go talk to her if you won't"

Kaia couldn’t help but notice that Tim was staring at her as if she were a painting or something like that. She fought back the heat the welled in her cheeks, but reminded herself that there were plenty of other people staring at her right now. She finished her song and the room filled with strangled applause. She smiled and thanked the few who were actually listening to her. “Hello again to those of you listening. For new comers who may not have caught my name, I’m Kaia and all that I’m playing is my own music, with the exception of the recording of the drums. That is curtosy of my good friend Kaul Berton.” She cleared her throat, still a bit nervous. It wasn’t because there were many people in the restraunt, but because none of them were listening to her. She had to remind herself that she was getting paid and putting work on her resume weither they listened or not. “Ok, so this song I’ll be performing is called Bartender. I wrote it after my first heart break, which actually wasn't caused by another person, just rotten luck. We all know what that’s like. Only, unlike most people my age they never went to the bar to get over anguish, but not many people my age knew a bartender who never checked I.D. This will also be the last song I sing for half an hour, then I’ll be back. I promise.” She swallowed a lump in her throat before reintroducing her gloved fingertips to the shiny white keys on the keyboard. Kaia had made it a point to leave out the fact that she had lost all of her music scholarships to some of the best music schools in the country because she had told them that she was a mutant. She had been lucky when they agreed to keep her true race secret so she still could have a musical career where she would have gotten a jump start in college. She caught Tim looking at her again and she averted her eyes to meet the gaze of the others who watched her. ‘Come on bartender Won't you be more tender Give me two shots of whiskey And a beer chaser Love will be the death of me Love is so fickle It starts with a flood and it ends with a trick-trick-trick-trick-trick-trickle
Come on bartender Just a little more tender I ate all your peanuts Return me to sender I've been too candid Now I barely standing Just call me a taxi and prepare me for landing
Oh oh You have got to kick me back out into the Cold and nasty weather And Maybe if we're sober I'll finally stop pretending that love is forever love is forever
Come on bartender Come on bartender Oh oh You have got to kick me back out into the Cold and nasty weather And Maybe if we're sober I'll finally stop pretending that love is forever love is forever love is love is love is forever Come on bartender Come on bartender Come on bartender
Love will be the death of me Love will be the death of me Love will be the death of me Love is so fickle It starts with a flood and it ends with a trick-trick-trick-trick-trick-trickle trickle-trickle...trickle......trickle........... trickle...trickle Come on bartender Come on bartender Come on bartender’ She smiled and turned off her keyboard before leaving the stage and collapsing onto a table close to the stage, feeling like a failure. A glass of water was waiting for her and she greeted it dryly. She felt slightly better when a middle aged woman approached her and complemented her performance, but there was still a sense of woe in her surrounding air.

"Oh no, nothing like that, just curious about your school."
He smiled when she started talking about the food. When she made the comment that she would go talk to the who introduced her as Kaia if he didn't. So he turned and listened to her, catching her eye once again, his own cheeks reddening slightly. He couldn't help but feel for her when she collapsed on the table in what she considered defeat. He glanced at Alex, giving her a "wish me luck" smile. He then stood up and walked over to Kaia while she was slouched over the table.
"I...thought you were great...honestly."

Kaia glanced up at Tim just as she put an unwrapped starburst into her mouth. With receiving his complement she smiled slightly but held up her finger, telling him to wait for a second.
She sent her tongue hard to work and in a few seconds she had to reach into her mouth to pull out a moist starburst wrapper and put it on a saucer next to her drink. “Sorry about that. One of my friends made a bet with me that I couldn’t unwrap one of those in my mouth in less than five seconds so I’ve been practicing. Dumb, I know, but if I win he has to give me fifty dollars so if I get fat on starbursts I guess it will be worth it. And thank you. Not many people really paid attention to know if I was terrible or not. I’m thinking of pulling out one of my songs that curses in it just to see if it will catch some attention.”
She stopped for a moment and elevated a brow. “I’m sorry, I don’t think I caught your name.”
