Victor had been ignoring the woman for the most part. She had been the one to invade his reading time after all. But when his ears picked up the sound of the word blood his attention diverted back to her. A slight sneer coming to his lips as he stared at her. "My blood? You know how many people want my blood Darlin'? Too many to count." He didn't like it at all. The last time someone got a hold of his blood he ended up having a clone of himself wandering around. Last thing he needed was something like that again.
But just the look in her eyes from his comment was enough to make him snarl slightly again. Mostly because he knew he wasn't going to win this fight. If he pushed it far enough she'd just end up doing something that'd get his blood the hard way. Damned woman. He felt like fighting her...wanted to...ached to. It had been ages since he was able to 'safely' slide his claws through her skin. And truthfully, the longer the baby was in her the longer he'd have to wait before he could do that again. Hmm...priorities Victor...
"Fine." He scoffed slightly and looked back at his paper.

"Really?"
Phoenix looked at him and scrutinized the body language to see if he was joking about it or not or if he would take it back as soon as he said it. His blood could be the key to having this baby out as soon as possible. She couldn't wait to meet their daughter and see how she was and how she would take down the humans with them. She also wanted to get back to how her and Victor was before she was pregnant. Back to the passionate nights that were filled with pain and blood. Where she would wake up covered in his marks and both of their blood mixed together with the sweat and passion. She missed all of that and her heart ached for it.
But it was also nice to have moments like this just sitting in his lap and being close. Being able to just lay there and be safe. She knew that he would protect her and their child if anything happened to them. She knew that she could count on him for anything but it was still nice to see it happen. She leaned up and kissed his cheek with her other hand laid gently on his other cheek. She knew she loved him more than anything. Maybe he loved her as well...but she didn't really know. She had a feeling that he did and she knew that he cared but did he love her?
"Thank you."

Phoenix didn't want to let her go. She held onto Fallon as they left the mansion. Carrying her along the way. They were finally on their way home, as a family. She smiled at Victor. She was actually happy right now. She wasn't even thinking of needing a new body right now. Right now her mind was only on finally finding her daughter, being with Victor, and going home. It wasn't the typical home everyone had but they weren't the typical family. At first Phoenix had hated living at the Brotherhood but now she couldn't picture them anywhere else. It was home to her. Victor seemed comfortable there and when he was comfortable she was comfortable.
She walked with Victor talking to Fallon and telling them about where they were going. The young girl just looked at her with wide eyes. Phoenix was also sending her images through her mind to help her understand more. Phoenix could tell that Fallon's mind was still trying to catch up with her body's age. How she was aged was unnatural and it angered Phoenix. She shouldn't be a little girl right now. She shouldn't have aged this fast even with Victor's healing factor. It made no sense to her but it would still not take away how happy she was to have her back.
Once they got back home Phoenix took Fallon straight to their room. With how much she had grown it meant that most of the things in her room needed replaced. She gave Fallon a bath and found a new bed for her until she could go out and buy her one. She set it up in her room and laid with her until she fell asleep. She smiled as she laid there with her daughter. Once she was asleep she snuck out of the room and back into her and Victor's room where she knew she would find him. Walking in she sat on the bed looking at him.
"She's asleep. Victor what did they do to her?"

Victor had stayed quiet the whole ride home. He knew Phoenix was keeping the girl calm and he had done his best to keep away from the girl. Mostly he was concerned that she may not be all too keen about her father being covered in blood. Even though she was older she couldn't understand the concept that all those deaths were because he was worried about her. And who knew what those X-men poisoned her mind with.
While Phoenix was busy with Fallon he had taken a shower and tried to relax. His muscles were still tense from all the bloodshed and knew he needed to stay away from the girl. Even if he was civil she'd certainly be able to tell that the animal in him was barely contained. Even with all of that bloodshed that beast hadn't gotten all of its frustrations out. It was a feeling that had him pacing around the room like a tiger in a cage.
By the time Phoenix returned to their room he seemed calmer. At least he was calm enough to be sitting in his chair passively watching a TV monitor while sipping at a beer. He wore only a pair of jeans that showed that the injuries he had recieved from the mansion had long since healed.
He barely even seemed to notice that Phoenix had entered the room until he heard her voice. "If I had to guess, the same thing that sped up your pregnancy." It was still rather odd thinking that just around twelve hours ago she had been in that old body and pregnant.

Phoenix sat on the bed cross legged watching Victor. She ran her hand through her hair and looked around the room. While locked in Jean''s mind it had felt like forever being stuck in that darkness. Longer than the few hours that it had actually been. In the cage it had felt like years not hours. So right now it felt like she hadn't seen this room in so long. She was taking it all in again. The bed, his chair, all of the things she had bought, the monitors. Everything she had missed while in the cage. But the one thing she had missed the most was sitting in the chair in all his glory.
She nodded as he spoke. It probably was true. The blue furball had used a mixture from Victor's healing factor to give her pregnancy a kick start. Maybe this was the same thing. But why would they do that to Fallon? It made no sense at all. But Phoenix never did understand why the X-Men did what they did. She still wanted to kill them though and she knew with Victor's help that they would kill them all. Every last one of them would pay for what they had done to them.
"You're probably right..."
The red haired woman looked back at Victor as he sat in the chair. He was drinking a beer and his chest was bare. She could see all of the muscles on hos body. They rippled across his chest and arms. It made her heart beat faster as she thought about him and his body. She stared at him with hungry eyes. She had been pregnant and not been able to actually be with Victor like they used to be. She stood up and walked over to the chair. She had forgotten that she was still in Jean's body but he hadn't of minded before. Phoenix straddled his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck leaning in and kissing him hard. It was just like old times. She had missed him. All of him.

It was true. He hadn't minded before, but that was because he wanted to piss off the Runt. And while he still left his tell tale mark upon her something in him was disgusted with her. Even as she kissed him with that same fervor that he adored. This wasn't her...this wasn't what he wanted. Strange for him to suddenly get a sense of morality but it brought an aggressive growl from him. It wasn't the flirty growl he'd give her normally. His hands moved to grab her hips roughly while his claws already worked to dig into her skin a little. He wanted her back...the real her...the one he fell in love with. With ease he lifted her up and placed her on the ground. He rose up to his own feet and stared at her for a moment. There was something in those eyes of his that certainly would be foreign to her. He lifted his hand up to brush his fingers over her cheek for a second...oddly gentle. "I am glad yer okay." Of course he meant Phoenix and not that woman that she currently possessed. But he couldn't act like nothing had happened. Not when she was in that body again. There was just something wrong about it...something that bothered him.
He turned away from her then to head into the kitchen. He needed another beer...

Phoenix had expected a growl to come from his chest. The flirty growl she was so used to when she kissed him like this. She loved when he growled like that. It showed her the animal that was inside of him and she loved that animal. She loved him. But when she heard the aggressive growl come from his chest instead she pulled back from the kiss with surprise. He had never done that to her before. Not when she had kissed him anyways. He had always returned the kiss with just as much fire and it would usually lead to ripped sheets and blood. But not now. She was confused by all of this. She groaned a little as she felt his claws dig into her hips and he picked her up and put her on the ground. She looked at Victor still in surprise. Looking at him as he stood up she searched his eyes. There was something there she had never seen before but she couldn't put her finger on what it was. Closing her eyes as he brushed her cheek she realized she was still in Jean's body. This was probably why he wouldn't touch her.
"I'm fine. You can't get rid of me that easily. I missed you though..."
The red haired woman watched him walk away to the kitchen. She felt like she needed to let him be for a minute. She was still replaying the last moments they had had together. Where she had cried and begged him to take care of Fallon. Where he had been there with her and stayed with her until the end of it all. When he had told her that he loved her.
"It's the body isn't it, Victor? There's no way that I can get the other one back though...its too damaged. I'll find a new one. I'm not too happy about being back in her either."

"It's not the body." He growled again while he took a few chugs of a new bottle of beer he had fetched from the fridge. Well it was but it wasn't at the same time. Mostly it was the fact that he had said goodbye to her only hours ago. He should have been excited that she hadn't completely perished...but it just wasn't the same. And the last thing he really needed was her to be back in that body. So maybe it was the body...he didn't really know. He was confused and irritated. These weren't feelings he usually had. None of this was something he was used to. He partly wished that he hadn't met her at all...then this wouldn't be this way. He wouldn't be upset that she had technically died hours ago.....and he wouldn't have daughter that was sleeping in the next room.
"I'll see what I can find later." He just needed to be alone...or something that was close enough to it. He needed some time to reset himself. Perhaps then he could get over whatever the hell this was.

"Then what is it, Victor?"
Phoenix stood there with her arms crossed over her chest. She hadn't expected all of this. She had thought that things would have gone differently now. That he would have reclaimed what was his. That they would have been together again like old times with the same passion and fire as before if not stronger because of what they had gone through. She thought it had been the body that had turned him away from her. Hell she wouldn't want to sleep with this body either but she had no choice in the matter. She didn't realize that it wasn't just the body it was another underlying issue. They had said goodbye to each other thinking that they would never see each other again. She had died only a couple of hours ago and he had watched her die and it hadn't been a peaceful death. Fallon had clawed her way out of her and Victor had watched it all. As she slowly started to realize all of this she remembered the look on his face when she had been dying. The pained look. The want in his eyes. Wanting her to stay and be alright and be the fiery woman he had fallen in love with. Hearing him finally confess that he did love her. Her heart felt like it was breaking as she realized all of this. She walked over to him and stood in front of him. She reached up and held her hand to his cheek looking at him.
"Victor....I'm fine. I'm here. We'll find me a new body and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. We'll find the doctor and we'll kill him...together. I'm sorry, Victor. I'm sorry you had to watch me die. But I'm back. I will always come back. I actually have something to come back to now. You and Fallon."

Phoenix hadn't liked this body when she had first been stuck in it. The feeling of Jean wrestling with her inside her mind was just not a welcomed thought. She had pushed her back so far she could barely feel her there anymore but she could still feel her there scratching at the walls and trying to get out again but that couldn't happen. Not until she found herself a new body. Then she could go into that body and not have to worry about Jean anymore. She wouldn't have to worry about trying to keep her at bay and constantly having her there. She wouldn't have to worry about the X-Men coming to find their precious Jean Grey. She could go on living with Victor and Fallon. But she needed to get out fast. She didn't know how much longer she could deal with this.
The woman sat in a chair with Fallon curled up on her lap sleeping. Her hand trailed through her hair just cherishing the moment but it all seemed wrong in a way. She should be in her old body but that body wasn't an option anymore. Her eyes fell onto Fallon's claws. They were exactly like Victor's claws and her body ached to have him there with her. He had left after the first night that they had come home. He hadn't been back since and she wondered where he was. He could handle himself she knew that but it was still weird not having him here with them. Kissing the top of Fallon's head the little girl woke up.
"We're going to find Mommy a new body. Daddy should be home soon, peanut."
The small brown haired girl smiled and nodded as she jumped up and ran to her room to get her jacket. She still hadn't started talking and Phoenix couldn't help but think that maybe it was because of the way she was so suddenly changed from an infant to an eight year old girl. Time would tell though and she knew Fallon would talk when she wanted to. Grabbing her own jacket she took the girl's hand and walked out to the streets with her. She needed to find a mutant body this time. One that could handle her powers. Her mind flowed out trying to find them and about an hour after they left a smirk came to her lips as she walked towards an apartment. She had found one.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
The transfer was easy enough and soon Jean's body was dumped in a park somewhere. Fallon had been with her the whole time and Phoenix had explained to her what was going to happen so she didn't get scared or confused. Her daughter was smart and understood and soon she was holding her hand and walking back to The Brotherhood's base in her new body. It was thin but riddled with muscles. Long blonde hair framed her face and shoulders. She had grown a fondness to blonde hair and she knew Victor would appreciate it too.
Fallon yawned and Phoenix walked her to her room. She knew she was tired from a long day. They had gotten a bite to eat while they were out and she smiled as she watched her daughter fall asleep. Walking back into er and Victor's quarters she sat back down in the chair and flipped through a magazine looking through the new styles and planning her next shopping trip. She was also secretly waiting for Victor to come home. She missed him and wanted that feral creature back in her life. Maybe now with this new body she would get her wish. Visions of claws, blood, and passion rolled through her mind.

Victor stared at the girl as she slept in that room, next to their own. It was dark and he only opened the door to peer inside, still dressed in his overcoat and other usual attire. To see the girl that was his daughter. She looked so much like her mother and yet there were those glaring hints of him. Claws and teeth...and apparently his healing factor. He stared at her for a long silent moment. Searching for something in his mind. Searching for who he was...what he was feeling...it was all so different. How could something turn his world around so quickly? Damned-able girls.
Yes girls. He sniffed at the air...there was a new smell here. Something different something new something feminine. A growl rumbled in his chest softly before he left Fallon's room and followed that smell into his own. And just as that olfactory sense had predicted there was a new girl sitting in his room. A snarl came over his lips as he enclosed the distance between them in a matter of seconds. Grabbing her by the neck and lifting her from that sitting position until he slammed her against the nearest wall. Claws from his fingers moved from their grip upon her neck, his grip didn't falter but those fingers moved and claws pierced her skin with the slightest effort. Gentle it wasn't but it was a sign of affection. His eyes weren't all that affectionate though...they were almost cold like he had found an intruder in his territory. "And...who are you?" Oh he knew...and he then leaned his head inward, right against her neck while he took in her scent. Slowly like sipping a wine he inhaled that scent, remembering it to the finest detail.
His large frame pressed up against hers as he held her still pinned to that wall. He pinned her further with his own body feeling this new one against his own. She smelled different yes, but that look in her eyes...that was always the same. No matter what body she would find he would be able to tell it was her. And now that she was out of that vile body of his rival... His other hand had moved to her hip, digging his claws into her skin but again not as deeply or dangerously as they could go. Draw blood they would...but he was careful not to hurt her, too badly.

Phoenix was still flipping through the magazine. Her mind had been lurking around Fallon's room making sure that she was alright while she slept. She had found herself another telepath so it was easier for her powers to come through. Her mind was wondering though and it was inside her not lurking around for others. She was happy to finally have found a new body. This was what she had wanted and she was lucky to have found another strong telepath which made the transition easier. This girl whose name she couldn't remember right now was a mutant just like her. It made the transition easier and she still felt just as powerful. This was good. She loved the look and the feel of this body and she knew that Victor would as well. She flipped the page and her eyes fell on a very nice "Outfit" you could call it. She made a mental note to go and purchase that outfit for later.
Her eyes shot up as she felt a presence in Fallon's room. She stood up and went to go look to see who it was when she stopped. She had thought that Fallon was in danger but in greater inspection with her mind she found it was Victor. Her body relaxed and she sat back down in the chair picking up the magazine again and flipping through it with a smile on her lips. He would soon come in here and see her sitting there in her glorious new body. She hoped he would like it. She did and that should be all that matters but she wanted him to like it as well.
Her eyes looked up as she saw him walk in. She smirked at him but she didn't have time to speak before he had grabbed her and had her pinned against the wall. She grunted from the force of it all but she smiled again as she felt his claws on her neck. A sharp intake of breath sounded as she felt his face against her neck and him inhaling her scent. Her heart beat a little fast feeling his body against hers. She heard him speak and she looked at him. Did he really not know who she was? She figured they had been through that he would be able to tell who she was in any body. She felt his claws at her hips digging in and his body pressing against her holding her to the wall. Would he really do this with a stranger?! Her anger welled up in her body as she felt him press against her. She could feel her powers welling up as she pushed him away from her with a snarl and pushed him against the wall across the room. Walking toward him she glared at him.
"Honestly, Victor? What the hell is your problem?!"

Victor growled as he felt the all too familiar wall against it back as he flung her across the room. Thankfully the construction of the Brotherhood base was more metal than anything else. He gave a growl while settling himself back upon his feet and glaring right back at her. "What's yer problem?" He asked the same question right back at her as he rolled his shoulders and pulled off his over coat to hand it on the hook by the door. Fine if she didn't want to play he wasn't going to. He was tired of being tugged around and at this point it may have just been easier to leave for good.
Last time he checked she liked it when he pinned her to the wall, but whatever. It really wouldn't be the first time that she confused him. Women.
Since the whole throwing him into a wall had ruined the 'greeting' mood he was in, he walked past her to the kitchen to find himself a beer. Knowing her though it was only a moment of distraction before he was turned back around to keep an eye on her while he opened the beer and took a few swallows.

Phoenix watched him. To be honest she didn't really know why she was so mad at him. Maybe it was because he had acted like he didn't even know her Like she had been a stranger to him. She didn't like that feeling at all. She didn't like the feeling of not being known especially by a man who should know her better than anyone. Who did know her better than anyone. But she had been enjoying the greeting. She had enjoyed his claws on her skin more than anything. She had missed it so much. It had been months since she had experienced that Victor. She had caught a glimpse of the animal and she had pushed it right away. Why? Because of her pride? She honestly didn't know why she had done it. But her body ached to feel his against hers again.
Her eyes followed him without saying a word as he walked past her and into the kitchen. She caught his scent and it sent shivers down her spine and she almost reached out to him but she stayed where she was and let him go to the kitchen where she knew he was getting a beer. When he came back she was still standing there watching him. There he was finally after so many days. She had wanted him to come home and be with them. To be with her but she knew that he needed his space. This was all new to him and it was new to her as well. She never would have thought that they would end up in this situation. Before he could say anything else she walks up and pushed him into the wall again but not as roughly as the time only moments ago. Her hands ran up his body and around his neck as she pulled him in to kiss her. Pulling away she looked at him.
"My problem is you."

"Me? Hmph." One hand still had the beer in it while she pinned him to the wall. Whether she had a problem or not he really didn't care at this point. She was playing games and he wasn't in the mood. His free hand rested on her hip in a more instinctual way than anything before he leveled his eyes at her. "You really thought I didn't know it was you? Not much faith in me I see Darlin'." Not that he really cared if she had faith in him or not. But she still should have known better than to think that he didn't know it was her. For one, how the hell did she get in here without someone knowing about it if she was a random woman?
But he dropped the subject while slipping away from her and taking another drink from his beer. She may have wanted the animal but he wasn't playing games either. His beer was finally placed down on a nearby table as he picked up a few pages of information that he had gathered on a few people. Nothing incredibly important just something that he wanted to find out. It was keeping him busy in a way since they had been dealing with bigger things as of late. Kept his mind off of things more than anything. After a long moment his attention turned back to Phoenix. "How is she doing?" He didn't have to say her name for her to know who he was refering to. And really he was used to be a dead beat Dad...so the fact that he was asking in general was a leap to being with.
