"I hate violence, it's a thing that I can't help but avoid unless need be." he shook his head, "How about I deal this first round then?"
Again the cards were shuffled from hand to hand, Remy giving a small tsk, tsk, tisk. He stopped shuffling and took out the cards and began to deal them out. He placed seven a distance in front of them an and held seven in his own. He looked among the cards and took out three.
"Well looky there." the cards began to glow, "three of a kind."
He looked up at the boy, his eyes glowing red. He took the cards, one by one and threw them at Sookie's brother. Each one hitting him hard enough to launch him a good six feet into the air, the gun falling down where the boy took off. The brother landed a few feet, unconscious on the ground from where the gun lay. Remy picked up the gun and the gun itself began to glow.
"I really do dislike guns."
He took the rifle and chucked it down the road in the opposite direction. As soon as it landed onto the earth, it exploded, leaving a black mark where the gun once was. He smirked and looked to the door of the nearest house just as Will was looking out. He looked back to the man, his eyes returning to normal.
"I could use some rope. He won't be out for long."

Sookie continued to observe them curiously, then in a flash and a bang and a clank, at least she that's how she'd describe it, Merrick was out cold on the ground and then his fun was a crater by Will's house. As she observed the scene, she couldn't help but to be surprised. It looked like something that came out of video game.
Long before Remy had even said anything about rope, she had shifted into a snake and made her way to the shed by her house and squeezed under the door, searching for a second before she found a coil of rope. She turned back into a human and dropped it out of a broken pane in a small window, changing back into a snake to get out of a shed, and then into a wolf once back outside again. She seized the rope and dashed to Remy's side, dropping the rope at his feet before jumping back into the bushes to pull and tug on her clothes. With her shirt back on, she shifted and tugged on the mini skirt, hopping and pulling her shoes back on as she came back into the open, going to help him tie Merrick.
"How did you do that? That was like something in a video game!"
Once Merrick was tied up, she looked up to see red and blue flashing lights. She was about to recommend tha they call the police, but it seemed someone else had already beat them to that.
She looked down and blushed before returning her gaze to him, smiling weakly. "Thank you."

A few minutes later, he heard the padding of feet on the snow. The rope fell at his feet and he looked up to see the familiar white wolf standing next to him. He was about to say thank you when the wolf ran back behind the bushes and afterward his female friend stepped out and stood next to him.
"It's my powers, cher, didn't think my little light show was for effects did ya?"
That was pretty much his powers. He lit up something with e energy and blow it up either on it's own or after it's hit something, or in her brother's case, someone. He didn't just tie up the boy, for humor's sake he hog-tied him. Standing up, he smiled and looked to Sookie, giving her a small kiss after she thanked him.
"Hope you didn't think I was really gonna let him get ya. Wouldn't want him to ruin a beautiful face."
He smiled, looking into her eyes, but his attention was soon diverted to the flashing lights. Though he did manage to stop her brother, the thought of cops always put him on edge. He took her hand and made a motion towards Will's house.
"Let's head inside out of this weather. I'm not really fond of authority."

"So...you make something glow and then it turns into a kind of a bomb sort of thing? Maybe? I could be wrong. I'm still finding out new things about my own powers." She had been tempted to try and shift into a centaur once, just to see what would happen, but she hadn't worked up the courage yet. It wasn't as easy without an actual animal imprint to shift on.
She examined the cards that hadn't exploded just yet, turning the ace of spades over between her index finger and her thumb.
"It still doesn't explain why you're so interested in cards."
She cocked her head to the side to examine Remy's bonding job. Her brow furrorwed in confusion. "He looks like a cow in a rodeo."
She swallowed a lump in her throat after he kissed her, but she didn't manage to keep back a small smile. However, she had to arch a brow at his changed behavior due to the police car.
"Geoffry Dearborne? He probably thinks some of the teenagers are playing with firearms. If he scares you then I can take care of him."
The officer got out of the car and Sookie was there to meet him in an instant to explain what had happened. Officer Dearborne clearly didn't beleive what she was saying until he saw Merrick tied up. He gave him a curious look and bent down to pick him but and haul him to the car. She helped him due to the fact he was well past his prime years. He gave her a breif embrace before toting her brother off to the small police station. Sookie looked back to Remy and extended her hand to him, a slight smile upon her face.
"I told you he wouldn't be here long."

"In a way yes, that's what I can do." he smiled at her when she examined the cards, "I'm a card player, cher, cards is what I use."
He smiled at her when she examined Marrick, commenting that he looked like a cow in the rodeo. He gave a small laugh and nudged the man over, causing him to roll over onto his side.
"That's how they tie all wild bulls."
He looked over at the police car as it came to a stop on the road. He knew that Sookie meant well in comforting him, but he still turned away to walk over and pick up the rest of his cards. He came back just as he saw Sookie and Dearborne hauling her brother away once more. When she came back and extended her hand, he took it and kissed her wrist gently.
"Just coming to clean up the garbage I see."
He smiled as he continued to hold her hand, watching as the car sped off. He wondered if he would now be labeled a . He sure fit the description with the glowing red eyes he shared before launching the poor soul into the air.
"This certainly was an entertaining night, wasn't it?"

She rolled her eyes. Merrick wasn't a bull. Merrick was a person with serious problems and even possibly a mental disorder. He was no a bull.
As always, she blushed when he kissed her wrist, but this time she grabbed his hand and yanked him forward into her arm to kiss his lips gently.
"So what exactly does this mean?" she asked, genly kissing his lips between each sentance. "Are we dating? Are we just fooling around?"
She pulled away from him again, but this time she pulled on his hand which was still in hers. "People are already starting to tallk. Bad thing about this town is that gossip spreads faster than wild fires. Some people are even saying that your my secret fiance." She had to chuckle at this. She pointed at her ears as they walked along. "It gets a little insane sometimes. Hearing quite literally everything."
They git closer to Will's house and a wicked grin grew upon her face. "Put your arm around and act like you can't wait to get me into bed. It'll drive Will crazy. He thinks the idea of me being affectionate with anyone is disturbing. It'll be hilarious."

"It means...we're seeing where it goes."
He smiled as he was pulled to her and wrapped into a kiss. He gratefully returned every kiss she gave him, but smiled when she said that people were starting to talk already. He didn't mind gossip, it's what made his life more interesting. He walked next to her as they walked to Wills house, listening to her as she gave out her next big plan. He had to admit, causing someone to be a little on edge was something he didn't mind doing.
"That won't be hard to do."
He smiled as he put an arm around her and pulled her against him, kissing her lips gently and then moving his way down her neck before returning to walking. He was half tempted to take her there in the snow after all that's happened, but he was sure a place nice and warm would be better than the cold outdoors.
His arm was around her and holding her close as they walked up the stairs to Will's house. He decided to let her go in first since he wasn't the kind of guy to go knocking on doors of houses he didn't know of.

Sookie rolled her eyes and shook her head slightly at this. She hated all the uncertainty. "Alright, so where do you think it's going to go? London? Hell?"
She was joking, of course. Sookie had her blonde moments, but she wasn't that stupid. She planted a gentle kiss upon his cheek for good measure. This time when he started kissing her neck, she didn't have enough time to prepare herself and keep from moaning like a dying cow. Every person who had ever heard her moan told her that the discription wasn't fitting, but Sookie couldn't think of any other way to describe the noise.
She glanced from house to house. A few people were still staring out their windows to see what they were doing and she rolled her eyes. However, she wasn't going to let Remy get away with that. Using a tricky manuvere she sent Remy flying over her hip and landing on his back on the ground. She crawled on top of him slowly and gently bit his neck as she clawed up down his chest.
"I do believe I told you not to do that."

"It can take us to many places if you want."
He smiled when she rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek. He wasn't paying attention to the others as he kissed her neck, but he heard her moan which gave him a good sign. His eyes widened in surprise as she grabbed him and flipped him onto his back, clawing up his chest and biting his neck. He closed his eyes at the attention and smiled at her, dragging his own fingers along her back.
"You did, but I never was a good listener."
He grabbed her and rolled over, setting her on his back and pinning her arms above her head. He could tell that they were being watched, and he did his best to make sure that what they were doing wasn't really being seen. He was certain they would go back to their own business when they just assumed it was two s having fun in the snow. If Remy had his way, they most certainly would be having fun. He leaned and and kissed her along her neck once more, kissing up to her ear and across her cheek to meet her lips once more.

"Many places, huh? Not ambiguous at all. Where are you thinking it'll take us? I'm rather curious." It wasn't a lie. This was the first thing in the romance catergory she had even considered since high school. She wanted to know all the details she could and would possibly have a panic attack if she didn't.
"Well maybe you should learn."
The snow was a cold contrast against her back to the warmth of his body pressed against her front. She accepted and returned his kisses until a drift of snow snuck up under her skirt. Now that was an unpleasent surprise. She squealed and scrambled out from under him to jump, causing most of the snow to fall out. Then, her face turned red...again. She laughed lightly and extended a hand to him.
"Come on, swamp boy. The house has a heater. And blankets. And a fire place. And coffee. And many other devices you could use to keep yourself warm. Right now, warm sounds really good right now. Not to mention I forgot about the eggnog." 'Not that I'll be drinking much.' she thought to herself, withholding a smile.

"Well I've never been one for long relationships, but I'd be willing to give this one a chance if you are."
He smiled as he had her pinned in the snow, teasing her neck with his kisses. He was a bit more then surprised when she suddenly jumped up out of the snow, shaking herself like a rattlesnake. He first thought it was strange until he saw snow falling from his shirt. He tried not to laugh, but when she started to, he did the same and took her hand.
"Maybe you can be my teacher then, since I'm not very good at learning either."
He stood up with her help and dusted himself off, reaching into his pocket to feel his cards, then kneeling down to pick up his cane and hat which seemed to have fallen off during their little roughing around outside. He had to admit a warm house with eggnog sounded great, having not had the stuff in years.
"Well then, let's go see about this house that Will lives in."
He still remembered Will stepping up to him, and couldn't help but hope the boy saw how he knocked out her brother. Remy may look like a guy easily pushed around, but nothing is ever as it seems.

She bit her bottom lip and held back a blush. "I'm up for a challange if you are. I'm moving more than I'm staying still though so I hope you're not hoping for me to be one of those needy girls that always seem to be saying 'why didn't you call me? You promised you'd call me. You don't want to have a family with me? There's another woman, isn't there!'" she visibly shuddered at this. Girls like that drove her insane, and unfortunately they never seemed to be in short supply.
She rolled her eyes at this. "I'm sure you're much smarter than you look. Still not very good at catching me though." She pulled his wallet out of the pocket in her skirt and smiled slyly at him. It wasn't the first time she had 'stolen' his wallet. This time she took it a few seconds before the snow snuck up her skirt. He was occupied with other things of course. However, stealing his wallet had become her way of teasing him. She opened it and looked at his licence. "Remy Etienne Lebeau....what kind of a name is Etienne?"
She led him to Will's house and before she could knock on the door, Will's mother was there with open arms. While Lorena was busy introducing herself to Remy, Sookie snuck off and warnedWill to be nice before going into her room and changing into a pair of sweat pants, boot-like slippers, and a rugby sweatshirt, arriving back just in time for Lorena to fully welcome Remy in. The fire was roaring and Sookie plopped down in front of it before a cup of orange tea was handed to her from over her shoulder. She thanked Will and made sure he sat down without so much as looking at Remy before taking her first sip.

"Then I accept the challenge." he smiled, laughing as she acted out the "normal" s, "I would hope not, tends to run me off faster then a rattlesnake chasin' a mouse."
He smiled when she pulled his wallet out of her purse, still not knowing how she did that. He had a counter for it though, and as she read into his wallet, he pulled out hers and looked through it. He had snuck it out of her while he was "feeling her up". When she read his ID, and asked about his name, he read hers as well.
"I don't know, it was given to me. I'd ask you the same thing though, Sookie Ylva Noam."
He smirked to her as she lead him to Will's house, and as soon as the door opened and the mother was addressing him, Sookie was inside and getting ready. The mother was more than kind to him, taking his coat and hat, but not debating when he said he would keep his cane with him. When she asked him why, he merely stated that it was of personal value to him, though he did accept the cup of tea that was offered as soon as he sat down on the opposite side of Sookie, trapping her between him and Will. Why? Mainly because he had a feeling this man would be interesting to deal with.

"It makes me voimit so I can't say that I blame you."
She smirked when he pulled out her own wallet. Did he really think she was that dumb? She had enhanced senses. That went with the sense of touch as well. "Love, you really don't think that surprises me, do you? And Sookie means lily. Appearently my mother met a girl in...Louisiana, I think. Louisiana is a state, right? Anyway, she named me after her. Ylva is after my great grandmother. The ironic thing is that it means wolf. It made me laugh when I learned that, mostly because I learned it after I discovered my powers. And Noam...I don't know. All I know is that it's Hebrew. There, no you don't need to ask. You really haven't ever looked up your namesakes? Etienne sounds French it you ask me."
Sookie had spent quiet a deal in Paris otherwise the name would have sounded totally alien to her. She rolled her eyes at Remy's action. "Are you planning on making me into a Sookie sandwich?"
"Did someone say Sookie Sandwich?" a new voice rang it. It was the only bandmate that Remy hadn't met. She put her tea on the floor before springing off the sofa to run from the massive man behind her, sqealing like a little girl. Before he could get to her, she jumped back on the couch and curled up into a ball, half way in Remy's lap. From the hallway that led to the restroom, Beryl screamed the word 'safe' and the chase ended, mostly in laughs. Sookie wiggled down the sofa and put her feet on Will's head, probing her toes into his ear before he finally moved, giving her more leg room. However, her head, which was still resting on Remy's lap, didn't move. Lorena began to speak to Sookie and before the question could even get out, Sookie thrust her left hand into the air to show that her ring finger was naked. Remy didn't know that her 'outside' family knew of her ability, but she was hoping this would give him a hint.

"Of course it's french. After all, the Cajuns are distant cousins of the French, so naturally my language and names would be similar."
She sure did love to talk, but he didn't mind. As she explained her name to him, he had to admit it was an interesting coincidence that her name would mean an animal that she could turn into. He, himself chose the name Gambit for the simple fact that he needed a new name to go by after his banishment from New Orleans. Very few people knew his real name, and he decided it was safer that way.
When she jumped up and ran from the voice, returning only to nestle in his lap, he didn't move or say anything. He was quiet while others laughed, having no idea what that was about, but gave a half smile when Will was gestured off of the couch after getting toes in his ear. Lorena's question made his cheeks redden a bit, even as Sookie exposed her ring finger to him. He wanted to tell them that the two had just recently reunited after meeting in New York, but figured that would be a bad idea.
