Meav almost jumped when she heard the creak of the bottom latch snap open, a tray sliding in. Narrowing her eyes when she heard what he said, a crystal spike, about the size of a water bottle, formed in her hand, only to be thrown at full speed at the opening, hoping she could impale him.. any part of him. "Why not?! You're just going to kill me anyways, why not let it be now?!" She was almost hysterical, both with terror and anger. She slammed her fist on the ground, tears finally coming. "What do you want with me...?"

He gave a small yell and a growl as he looked to the spike now impaled in his leg. He pulled it out and let the material cover him again. He focused his powers on the spot that was now a hole in his leg, closing up slowly. He then looked through the higher latch and glared at her, his now diamond eyes focusing on the girl.
"Don't press your luck girl. I'll kill you when I deem it necessary to do so. Until then I suggest you be a good little brat and wait."
He slammed the latch closed and began walking towards the control room, he stopped when one of the sentinels addressed him.
"A vessel is approaching, Master Cain."
"Destroy it!" Cain demanded, "Destroy anything that comes here. Leave no survivors."
"Yes, Master Cain." The sentinel turned and followed the others outside, taking flight into the air to intercept the oncoming intruder.

Meav flinched when she felt his gaze on her again. Perhaps trying to impale him hadn't been the best idea. If anything it only made him even more mad. Until then... The words echoed through her head. So what was he going to do to her 'Until then'? She didn't want to find out. She could try to push him to kill her now, save herself the trouble... Or she could try to kill herself, if she were ever able to work up the courage.
The crystal covering the wall shifted again, seeming to melt off the walls and create a 'barrier' around herself, several inches thick so he wouldn't be able to see through. She only have a few inches to move in her 'cocoon', but at least if he returned she wouldn't have to see, or even hear him. A small sanctuary in hell.

((Since you don't know what to post, I'll give you a little push. ^.^))
"Guys! Incoming Sentinel!" Faith was at the wheel, maneuvering and flying the small aircraft that held near half a dozen X-men, and one student. "I hope you all have your seat belts on, this is going to get a little rough." She didn't wait for a single answer, sending the aircraft into a tight, fast roll to avoid the incoming Sentinel. She straightened out as quickly as she could, turning the craft around to open fire on the metal giant's back. No damage. At all. Cursing under her breath she yanked the wheel up hard, flying almost straight up to avoid the robot. Faith was no amateur when it came to flying in erratic ways, avoiding all attacks from the thing. "I don't think we'll be able to get any closer then this so this is you're guys stop! I'll keep this thing busy, so get in there and shut them down!" She dove the aircraft, gaining more and more speed as they grew closer to the ground. Jerking up at the last moment, she slowed down as much as she could, before flipping a switch, the side of the craft hissing open and engulfing the back with hard air. "I expect all of you to come back in one piece! Now stop wasting time and end this!"
She barely even waited for them to jump from the craft, before picking up speed again and turning to face the air bound Sentinel once more, opening fire to draw it's attention away from the X-men and student she had just dropped off. "Good luck... All of you."

Ian was sitting with the others when Faith shouted about incoming sentinels. He gripped his seat hard and looked to Logan and Hank, wondering if they were clinging to their chairs as well. He heard a small creak and realised Hank had practically bent the arms of his chair as the jet flipped and spun in the air. He prayed that the ride would be over because he could feel his stomache having an argument with him at that moment. When the back door opened the others jumped out, he was quick to follow. He stood with the others and looked up at the sky, watching as the jet took off with the sentinel following, and much more following after it.
"I hope she'll be ok."
"She'll be fine kid, she's a tough flier." Logan said.
"We should split up." Hank said, "Ian and I will head towards the factory and see what we can do. A small group will be enough for rescuing the girl. You and the others help the survivors in the city."

"Target Acquired. Request Assistance."
As Logan and Hank split into two teams and went their separate ways, the sentinel began to close on the jet, with others following close behind. The target lock moved along its eyes until it targeted one of the jets wings. Lasers then began out of it's eyes in an attempt to hit the wing or slice it off completely. Down on the ground, Logan was heading for Tokyo with the rest of the X-men following him. They came to the city in time to see another group of sentinels attacking the town and townspeople. Logan stood frozen as he saw the mass of bodies and destruction that littered the roads.
"This will be harder then I thought." He said, "All I smell is and fire, can't tell where the survivors are."
Beast and Ian had made their way to the factory faster then they had expected. Hank exclaimed that it seemed a little too easy to be able to make it that far from the clearing without interruption. Ian offered to go on ahead and scout the area, and after a little argument, Beast agreed. Ian sped off, keeping track of where he went and what he saw. After a moment, he came back with a worried look on his face.
"Well, what did you see Ian?"
"Beast, I got good news and bad news?"
"What's the good news?"
"The good news is, I found the factory. It wasn't hard with the amount of sentinels coming out of it."
"And the bad?"
"Even more sentinels are guarding it."

Even more Sentinels were coming after her now...
Faith wasn't sure anymore if she'd be able to make it out of this alive. None of her shots seemed to do any damage to the giant robots, but she knew if they ever hit the jet it'd be gone for-
It felt like something had struck the back of the jet, the whole cabin jerking and Faith almost bashing her head on the wheel from impact. Instantly her instruments went berserk. Seeing the problem, Faith's eyes went wide. They'd taken out one of the wings...! Gritting her teeth, the Jet started to nose dive, unable to stay airborne with only one wing. She had to think fast. If she caused more deaths with her crash, the whole rescue mission would have been a complete waste. If she could take at least one sentinel out with her though.. Perhaps it'd give the others a chance... Closing her eyes to take a deep breath, she opened them to see Tokyo closing in. A small fleck on the ground must have been Logan. She grunted, trying to steer the jet up a little. Of all the people to see her crash... It just had to be Logan. And there was a Sentinel...
This was it then... No turning back... Using all her strength, she tried to pull the Jet out of it's nose dive, aiming for the giant robot... And crashing head on into it....
The explosion was huge. Even Hank and Ian would be able to see it, the impact and fuel of the Jet only making it ten times the size an explosion should have been. Then it was over, smoke and flames engulfing the area around the crash. Charred metal was scattered all over the place, from both the Jet and the Sentinel. Right in the middle of the flames though, was Faith...

The Sentinel had just finished demolishing a tower when an explosion made it turn it's attention towards an oncoming jet. Logan looked up in time to see the jet heading towards the sentinel, his eyes widened in horror when he realized that Faith was still inside. The jet hit the sentinel hard, causing it to not only fall backwards, but be blown apart into four separate pieces. The arms flew out over the town, the legs dropped towards the ground, and the head landed not far from where Faith was laying.
"Faith!" Logan shouted.
He ran to where she was and picked her up, checking her pulse. She was alive, barely but it was a miracle either way. He picked her up as the army of sentinels turned their attention to the one that took down their partner. Logan's heart began to sink when he saw the oncoming army. The race for survivors wasn't the problem anymore. It had become a race to be the survivors.
Beast and Ian were figuring out what to do about infiltrating the factory when the heard the explosion. The force of the blast from both the jet and the sentinel knocking them off the ground and into the clearing. Both stood and looked off towards the blast.
"Beast...do you think that was..."
"We can only hope she wasn't in it Ian." Beast said.
They turned in time to see the sentinels now looking at them, and realizing that they had been knocked into view of the giant robots when the jet hit.
"So much for sneaking in, I suppose." Beast said then jumped towards one of the robots. His jump was cut short when a blast from a nearby Sentinel sent him flying over the woods.
"BEAST!" Ian yelled out. He then turned towards the giant robots as their shadows fell over him. He couldn't help but wonder if the others were having better luck then he was. He watched as the sentinels surrounded him.
"Hey guys...uh...don't think we can talk this over huh?"

Meav didn't know what was happening outside of her cell, but she could hear something. Her crystal wall magnified the sounds, but even then all she knew was it was a jumbled mess of sounds. Why had it suddenly become so loud outside? Was something happening? She didn't know. Actually, she didn't know a lot of things right now. Like what had happened to Tokyo, how long she'd been in here.
Of course, she flinched when she heard an explosion, the floor shaking from the impact. What was going on?! Her crystal wall actually shattered from the violent quake, Meav screeching when it came crashing down on her. Of course she was mostly unscathed, a couple scratches here and there, but it wasn't exactly a comforting thing to have sharp shards of crystal crash down on your head.
((Just so we know what Meav's doing XP Seeing as Faith is sort of out of commission now.))

"What is going on out there!?"
Cain was furious at the noises and sounds that were coming from outside. The only thing he commanded the sentinels to do was destroy whatever intruder was coming. Now not only were there sounds of blasts and explosion, but the vibration of the latest explosion shook the whole factory, causing a few clamps to release parts of sentinels to come crashing to the ground.
"Those fools are going to destroy this place. Why couldn't the humans make these things with brains?"
Outside, Ian had been completely surrounded by the sentinels, five in all, and he had to think quickly on what he would do. The hands of the sentinels, the metal tendrils came out to wrap around him. They twisted and tangled around each other, and they realized they didn't catch him. As they looked around, they spotted him near one of the sentinel's feet.
"Man, do you guys look tied up at the moment or what?"
The sentinel across from Ian opened it's hand and fired a blast to him. He continued dodging out of the way of the blast, giving shouts of "nice try", "a little slow", "come on you can do better". Finally he stood one of of the sentinels feet, the robot lifting it's foot to try and swat at him with it's hand. The other sentinel fired and wound up blowing off the foot of the Sentinel itself. The Sentinel fell backwards and crashed to the ground.
"Wow, nice shot."
Ian was now standing on the shoulder of the sentinel that fired. The sentinel next to it looked to Ian and swung, but missing and knocking off the head of the first sentinel instead. That sentinel falling backwards as well.
"Are you sure you guys know how to hit? You need practice."
Another sentinel turned to see Ian standing on it's shoulder now. Ian gave it a wink, then began running around it's head slowly at first, then increasing speed to a blur. He stopped and watched as the sentinel's head was spinning fast, then spun off of it's head. He watched as the head fell to the ground, and he stood there on the shoulder scratching his head.
"Man...what a time to lose your head. Uh oh..."
As the body rocked back and forth, about to fall, Ian noticed the last two sentinels holding out their hands and ready to blast him. It didn't take long for him to decide on a plan, using his weight to cause the headless body to fall forward. The blasts fired, and Ian moved, the sentinels missed him and blew holes into each others chest instead. Ian stood at the door and watched the last two sentinels fall to the ground. He gave the mess a guilty look.
"Oops...I guess I overdid that one."
He looked towards the woods, hoping Hank was ok. He then turned around and headed inside the factory, giving the door a knock and looking around. He tried to find out where the was, but there was no use. Too many doors lined the walls and the place was more of a mess then outside.
"Hello?" he called out finally, "Anybody home?"

Meav heard a voice... And it wasn't that man's.... She scrambled to the door of her cell, cutting up her feet as she hurried over the crystal fragments and slammed her fists against the door, trying to get who's ever this was attention. "HELP ME!!!" She kept slamming her fists as hard as she could, to make as much noise as possible so he would find her. But that might not matter if her kidnapper had the key... She knew the door was locked, and it was to thick to break through...
A few moments passed before she stopped, sliding to her knees. She must have imagined it. No one was coming to save her. No one knew she was here, after all. Even if Meav didn't want it to, Cain's words had gotten to her.
Nobody will expect you to be here..
They kept echoing through her head... Taunting her. Terrifying her.

"Hey!"
He heard the noise, the sound of yelling and pounding on metal. He searched each room until the pounding stop, which was right next to the room he was standing in. He opened the compartment where he could see, and saw a in the middle of what looked like Crystal. He couldn't help his luck. He was able to single handedly take down five sentinels, and then found the they were looking for.
"Hang on, I'll get you out."
"You can't do anything boy, not without the key." A voice said behind him.
Ian turned and saw the man that had injured Rose, destroyed Tokyo and in his mind killed most if not all of his friends. His anger boiled as he saw the man who was the center of all this destruction and kidnapping. He didn't know why the man wanted the in the room, but he had to get her out of there.

Meav had given up completely on even the chance of it having been a real person when one of the little doors Cain had used earlier opened. She flinched away from the door, expecting it to be her Captor coming to silence her. But it wasn't... When she dared to look up, she noticed it was a boy, maybe two years younger then her. Her eyes widened when he spoke, the same voice she'd heard heard before. Someone had come to help her...?
All hope of this younger man rescuing her crashed and burned when she heard Cain. She couldn't have his death on her shoulders... She wasn't worth people risking their lives. "Please... Go away..." She buried her fingers in her hair, hiding her face. "He'll kill you..." With out intentionally doing it, the crystal shards she sat on seemed to liquefy and make a perfect circle around her before stretching up and surrounding the girl in a 'dome' of crystal. Anything to not see what happened next...

"She's right boy, don't think you can face me and live." Cain said.
Ian and Cain stared each other down, even as the pleaded with him to run. Cain smiled and flexed his fingers. Ian just smiled and shrugged.
"Guess I'm just stubborn, your sentinels didn't seem to mind playing too much." Ian said.
"Then I guess you just need a better ."
Ian dug his feet into the floor and Cain placed his own feet into the floor as well. Cain's body changed into the metal that appeared on the floor, and he drew his arm back. He shot his arm out towards Ian, which changed into a spear. He struck the door and was shocked to see that Ian wasn't on the end, but leaning against it with his arm propped onto it.
"What's this?" Cain asked curiously.
"Wow that was a close one. I think I felt a breeze with that."
Cain's smile seemed to falter. Was this boy toying with him? His other arm shot out and once again impaled the wall. A growl came as he looked around for Ian. He couldn't find the boy at all, and already he was getting irritated. He had things to do and Ian was making things very difficult for him.
"Hey hippie!" he heard a voice shout from behind him, "Up here!"
"What!?"
He turned and looked towards one of the platforms that moved around the factory. Ian was up there with his tucked into his fingers, his other fingers wiggling, his eyes crossed and his tongue sticking out. He then began to laugh as Cain growled at him. Cains arms out to grab onto the banister and launch himself up to Ian. He landed a few feet in front of Ian, Ian just standing there smiling at him.
"You're trying my patience boy."
"Aw come on, Cain, you need to relax."
"How do you know my name?"
"I have my ways 'Candy Cain'."
A loud, growling yell and Cain's arms launched out at Ian again, this time Ian ran straight towards, and with his liquid form, through Cain. Cain was more then shocked as he looked around, then heard the sound of a key being tossed up and down behind him. He turned around and saw Ian standing there with something in his hand...the key!
"Thanks for the present, 'Candy Cain'."
"Give that to me!"
"Sure, just need it first."
"Why you little-"
Ian was gone again, this time speeding towards the room where the was and, within seconds, unlocked the door and tossed the key into the room so Cain wouldn't be able to get him. He looked into the latch at her.
"Get out of here, go find Logan. He's in Tokyo."
Another clank against the door and Ian was gone again, having dodged another one of Cain's attacks. Ian couldn't understand why Rose was defeated by this guy, but he just chalked it up to him being too fast for this man to catch him.

Meav manipulated the crystal around her when she heard the door unlock. She stared wide eyed when he tossed the key in, so Cain wouldn't get it. "Why...? Why are you helping me?!" She had no idea who this guy was! Or whoever 'Logan' was. So why.... Why was he risking his life to help her...?
Hesitating, she stumbled to her feet. She pushed the heavy door open, almost flinching when she was 'attacked' by the bright light. Sunlight... Meav wasn't sure what she should do. A part of her wanted to stay and make sure her rescuer wasn't killed, but she knew she would only make it worse. When Cain had brought her food she remembered him 'absorbing' her Crystal, the substance covering him. Cain would use it to his advantage...
Meav did her best to hold back her tears as she turned and ran. It killed her having to flee like this... She stumbled as she ran, her feet killing from having cut them up on Crystal shards earlier, and her wing hung limply against her back from the Sentinels and Cain.
((Rose lost cause she was only 13 when she fought him.... O.o))
