"Yeah...he's caused everything to happen."
He listened to what Hazel said, thinking that he had something to do with it still. He then looked to her when she talked about the sentinels. He couldn't help but smile a little at that. He remembered how him and Rose teamed up and took them down. He still was curious on how the first was taken down though. He looked back to Rose, still laying there with Sky and Parker around her.
"I'll get him...for her sake at least."

Hazel nodded slowly, as Ian finally got over it. Sure, revenge wasn't always the best course of action.... But, at least he wasn't blaming himself anymore! "She would say the same thing." If she was awake. If Rose found out that Ian hadn't been himself when he'd done those things, oh would she be mad! She'd hunt Cain down herself.... Like just about everyone else. Hazel smiled softly, shaking her head. "Cain certainly is making a lot of enemies. Many people have personal grudges against him. It won't be long until everything finally catches up to him."

"Yeah, Dave's the worst though. That guy killed his parents and got him framed for it."
He remembered how angry Dave was after finding out who had killed his parents. It took almost the whole school to try and convince him not to hunt Cain down. But now, as he laid there, Ian couldn't help but feel the same way. He knew that people around here were going to go hunting for Cain sooner or later.
"When that comes...I'll be with them."

Hazel sighed, shaking her head. Teenagers... Out for revenge. They were supposed to be having fun right now in their life! Not seeking revenge! "I'm sorry, but the idea of you teenagers and kids, already ridden with revenge... I hate the idea. You're only worries right now should be school, and friends." She sighed again. "I just can't wait for things to settle down. For all of you to be able to return to normal, happy lives. Where the only thing you should be afraid of is us teachers!" She chuckled a little.
She looked around, shrugging a little. "Hank and Professor Xavier certainly are taking their sweet time..."

He couldn't help the smile that grew on his face as Hazel talked. She was harsh at times, but he knew deep down that she was more a parent and doctor to the students then a teacher. When she made the comment that the only thing the students here should be worried about are the teachers, he just started laughing. He didn't know why exactly, but he just was, and after a while he just looked at her smiling.
"There's nothing normal about us and you know it."

"It looks like everything is under control, I am glad to see."
Professor Xavier's wheelchair had been maneuvered into the open doorway, a small smile upon his lips. "It's good you are back with us, Ian." If only Alex was.. But, she would be back with them soon. Cain's hold on her would break, just like Ian and Meav...
"Hank told me. I am disappointed by the news of Jacklyn's betrayal, but we must not worry to much about it. All in due time..." He paused.

"Hey professor. I'd sit up and say hi, but I'm a little tied down."
He smiled, but it faded a bit when Xavier spoke about Jackie and Alex. He looked from Hazel, to Hank, who had come in with Xavier, then back to Charles. He laid back in the bed and then looked back at Rose.
"Will she be alright professor?"

"Not for much longer, I hope." Professor steered himself into the room, so Ian would be able to look at him with out straining his neck. "There's no risk of Ian changing back. Cain's hold is completely gone. Hank, Hazel, if you would both be so kind as to untie him." If the Professor was so relaxed with untying Ian, there was nothing to worry about.
He fell silent when Ian asked if Rose would be alright. His smile vanished. "I don't know. I can't get through the walls in her mind. Neither can Sky or Parker. Only time will tell."

Hank smiled and nodded as he assisted Hazel with untieing him. Ian groaned as he sat up, cracking his neck and rubbing his wrists. He turned and sat up in the bed, about to jump down when he realised his legs were bound. He looked at them curiously, then looked to the three. "Did I bang up my legs or somethin? How come they're bandaged." "Ian, I'm afraid that...to make sure you didn't try to escape...Black Cat shot your legs." Hank answered, clearing his throat in the process. "He WHAT"

"Ian, remain calm."
Professor Xavier wouldn't go into Ian's head just yet, but if Ian tried to go after the other boy, well, he just might have to stop him. Like all teenagers, Ian was a spur of the moment type person. He didn't think of the consequences. "You have to realize, Ian. You were not in your right state of mind at the time. Would you have risked an enemy getting up and attacking you again? Black Cat took precautions." He paused. "If you had woken up, what do you think would have happened if Black Cat hadn't made sure you wouldn't be capable of escape or assault?"

"I understand that but...my legs? I...I'm the fastest mutant in the world! How can I be the fastest mutant in the world with my legs shot?"
Obviously the thought of having to use the restroom was completely replaced by the shock that his legs were shot. He couldn't believe Cat would go to such lengths as to shoot his legs. He eased off the bed and almost cried in pain when he tried to stand. Hank was next to him in a moment, helping him stand.
"This really sucks..." Ian mumbled with a sigh.

Hazel had taken a few steps back, to watch the conversation in silence. Let the Professor handle it. Only when he gave permission to untie Ian did she step forward to assist Hank in releasing the bonds. Then, Ian just realized he'd been shot. She smiled a little. Ian was so spur of the moment, it was funny. He just moved from one topic to another, abandoning the former as soon as another caught his attention. "Ian, if you were having to subdue a mutant as fast as you, wouldn't you go for the legs? Or if you were fighting someone with strong arms. If you can't use their weaknesses against them, then the next best move is to stop them from using their talents." She nodded.
"Besides, he didn't hit anything vital. You're legs will recover quickly."

"Keep them from using their talents?"
He couldn't believe Hazel was thinking that his legs were his talents. Then again, he had to admit that the only thing he really used for speed that people saw were him running. But just to make a point, within a flash he tied the bonds that held him together, then went back to leaning against Hank.
"Does it really look like my legs were my only talent? I just said I was the fastest mutant alive...as far as I know that is."
