Hazel wasn't sure what was going on. She had received a phone call only a few hours before, to prepare the infirmary for three to five patients, the caller had not told her exactly. The voice had been familiar, but she couldn't put a finger to it. So, she had dragged herself out of bed, seeing as the call had come in at three in the morning, woken up Hank, and hurried down to start preparations.
Normally, she would have been a little hesitant to listening to orders such as that, but it had sounded urgent. As if people might die if things weren't ready. Hank should be on his way soon, and their patients should be arriving sometime in the next ten to thirty minutes...

Rika walked into the mansion, as if she had never left. Ryu stayed close to her side, not wanting to be away from her. She saw Black Cat still carrying Meav and she desperately hoped that she would be okay. Logan carried Ian and Sky carried Rose, all into the infirmary. Rika was the only one not carrying someone. She then saw Hazel and smiled a small smile.
"Hi. We have some....people that need some attention..." Rika felt kinda awkward, but she was comforted when Ryu nudged her hand in support. "And...uh...oh, Logan's back too. We went and...saved him, I guess?" Ryu nodded along with what Rika was saying. "Anyway, everyone will be here in a few seconds..."

Sky calmly walked in with Rose, still trying to get through her mind barriers. She looked around, tsking at her surroundings. She was stunned that she walked through those doors. But her attempts to wake up Rose were unsuccessful, so she agreed to bring her sister in. Sky still cursed Ian, loathing everything about him with every fiber of her being. He was the one resposible for Rose's condition...why she wouldn't wake up.

Black Cat walked up the steps to the mansion. All the time of trying to avoid this place he was here. The irony was not lost on him, but he was more concerned about Meav. She was still bleeding heavily and her blood was staining his shirt, not that he cared he was the cause for it after all. He followed Rika into the infirmary, and when he saw Hazel he hurried over so he was standing in front of her. “Meav needs medical attention immediately!” He showed Hazel the limp girl in his arms. “She was shot, and the bullets either hi or came close to hitting vital organs.”

Logan was back? Hazel almost let out a sigh of relief. Thank God. He'd vanished, just like that, and now he was finally back to them. She'd have a good many questions for him later, but right now, they would have to wait. The first of her patients was being carried in. Rose Nightshade, being carried by... Sky Nightshade? Well, that was a shock. But Sky had done little to earn the X-men's distrust, so Hazel let it pass. "Set her down, right there." She pointed to one of the many beds. Then, another was brought in. This time though, she didn't recognize the carrier or the injured. One thing she was sure of though, this woman was in critical condition. "Put her down here." She motions to the closest bed this time.
Hazel turned on her heels, hurrying into the back room to get together the necessary supplies.

What a night, and here he thought he would get some sleep. Hank was sound asleep when Hazel came in and woke him up from his dreams. He was groggy until she told him that they would have injured coming in and fast. He literally jumped out of bed and was down the hall within moments, trailing after Hazel.
He waited for the arrivals, and he was in for a great shock. First came in Rose, unconcious and carried by Sky. She was the only member of the Nightshades, next to Rose, who he didn't have a problem with. Next came in two other mutants who were carrying Meav, but she didn't have her wings this time. What had happened?
Next came in the sight for sore eyes. Logan had returned, and with Ian in his arms, two bullet wounds in Ians legs. Logan put him in the only bed available, and strapped his arms and legs in. Beast was more then confused when Logan did this.
"Logan, what are you doing?"
"Ian's been changed. He has to stay strapped like this until we can bring him back." Logan answered, but didn't look up from Ian, "I have to find Xavier...I'm leaving the X-Men."

"What?"
Hazel had come back just in time to see Logan strapping down Ian to the bed. But she heard his explanation and sighed. "Will we need to put him in a separate room, as a precaution?" She doubted it, the bonds on the beds were strong enough to hold up against Heather, Ian wouldn't be able to break free from them. But... With a side glance to to Sky, spotting the loathing look she was giving Ian....
A few moments passed before, Hazel started to work on the removal of the bullets in Meav's chest. She paused though when she heard Logan's words, her eyes wide. "What?! You're.... You're leaving?!"

"You can't leave now, Logan, we need you more then ever."
It surprised even Hank when those words came out of his mouth, looking up at Logan from tending to Ian's legs. The wounds weren't bad, and luckily the bullets would only leave a couple scars. He was sure that when Ian was back to full strength and back to himself, he would be able to run like he did before. What Hank was just as worried about was leaving Ian alone with Sky. Logan just looked to the two with a sad smile.
"I'm not leaving here, Hazel, just...can't be part of the team anymore.
"I don't understand, Logan, you're our best fighter." Hank commented. Logan held up a fist and extended his claws, which to Hanks complete surprise, were completely bone.
"Not anymore. Cain took the metal from me."

Hazel almost let out a sigh of relief when Logan said he wasn't leaving this place. But, it didn't reassure her when he said he was leaving the team. What did he mean by that? Leaving the team but not the place?
"But... Why?" And then, Logan had revealed his claws, bone... Instead of metal. She had always thought his claws were due to his surgery. But no... They were his mutation! Slowly she rose to her feet. "Logan... Are you leaving the team... Only because your metal is gone?" She paused, finally returning her attention to Meav. "Hank... I need your help over here. I need an Iv set up. If we aren't quick, we'll lose her..!"

Hank had just finished up binding Ian's legs and listening to Hazel. He also looked up at Logan, wondering if he was really leaving the team just because his metal was gone. He partly understood Logan's concern, having been able to use his metal claws to get them out of more then a few scraps. He then rushed over to Hazel when she said they needed to get an I.V. prepped. He went right to it, heading into the other room.
"I'm sorry, Hazel, but I won't be much good now." was Logan's only answer to her question.

Hazel was grateful that Hank went right to work, doing as she'd asked. As she worked, bandaging the bullet wounds, and the wounds on Meav's backs, her mind wandered. Why did Logan have to think like that? "Isn't it up to you, how useful or useless you are?" She looked at Logan, a scowl on her lips. "Just because you don't have that metal anymore, doesn't make you any less useful. Sure, you might not be able to do everything you could previously, but..." She didn't bother finishing. Logan would get the idea.
Hazel rose to her feet. There was little else she could do for Meav now as Hank set up an IV. Instead, she turned her attention to Rose. Who looked fine.... looked as if she were just sleeping. As she examined the slumbering girl though, her stomach sank lower and lower. "Hank... We're going to need another IV... And an oxygen tank..." She paused, looking at the room grimly. "She's comatose."

Logan stood there, saying nothing as Hazel reprimanded him about his powers. It's true he could heal himself no matter what he went through, but losing the metal coating on his skeleton may have been just a small change to everyone else, but to him Cain had taken more then the metal, he took a part of him. Logan just sighed, turning and leaving the room so Hazel and Hank could work.
"He's lost a part of himself," Hank stated, seeing Logan's distress. He then looked to Hazel as she spoke with a worried tone in her voice. Rose was comatose? Without another word spoken, he went to work getting the I.V. and the oxygen tank. He handed Hazel the tank while he got the I.V. set up.
"No rest for the weary indeed." Hank could stop the words coming out of his mouth as he thought of the last conversation the two doctors had.

Black Cat hugged the wall keeping out of the way of the two doctors. He kept most of his attention on his friend on the hospital bed, but when the three adults started arguing he couldn’t help but watch their conversation. It was like a three way tennis match. All three of them making good points, with two of them on the same side, though one was more of a neutral then the rest. When Logan left the room he returned his attention back to Meav, hoping she got better.

Sky just silently handed Rose over, still probing her mind and coming up against multiple mental walls. A look of loathing came over her and she stood to the side, watching the doctors at work. The X-Men really weren't that bad...just plain naive. She then looked over at Ian and a flood of hatred came over her. Ian was bandaged and hurt, but Sky didn't care. She walked over to Ian and slapped him,
"Wake up, you bastard. I wanna talk to you." She hissed, venom dripping in her words. A look of pure hatred was in her face and she was about to snap. Sky sent a piercing pain through Ian's mind, telling him to wake up or else.

Hank sighed and watched over Rose, then looked to Meav. He hoped that they pulled through, but he was immediately distracted by Sky as she stormed over to Ian's bed. His eyes widened in shock as she slapped him, then Ian grunted and groaned as he squirmed violently in his bed. Hank immediately went to Sky, grabbing her by the shoulder and turning her to face him.
"What do you think you're doing? He needs his rest, they all do!"
