Black Cat started to panic when Meav blacked out. He hurriedly checked her pulse to make sure she was still alive, and when he felt one he gave a sigh of relief. Even if it was slow and it was obvious she was dying at least she wasn’t dead yet. Black Cat made sure that he didn’t leave Meav’s side. He didn’t want anything else to happen to Meav and actually push her into the void of death. He was barely even registering what Logan was saying. All he understood was they needed to get out of there and that these people might be able to help Meav. “I’ll take Meav and come with you. Rika can do whatever she wants.”

Rika nodded slowly, still angry at Ryu. She looked at Logan. "I'm coming too." She then stood up. "I'll be right back...I have some business I need to take care of." Rika then slowly walked off to where Ryu was cleaning up.
Ryu was mostly clean, except for his muzzle. Soon, he found a puddle nearby and splashed himself, making sure the blood would come off. He hated what he did...he didn't want to do it, but it was a precaution. Rika and Black Cat wouldn't have done any precautions...because Meav was like her sister. But not to Ryu. But he suddenly perked up when he heard someone coming. Soon, Rika came into view.
"I'm sorry I got mad..." She whispered. "Meav is like my sister...and what you did was probably right." Ryu's eyes widened in surprised when Rika apologized like that, so suddenly. Then he trotted over and rubbed against Rika's leg. Thank you...for forgiving me. He said gently. Rika had a small smile on her face and scratched Ryu behind one ear. "You're my best friend, Ryu. More than that. I love you." Ryu seemed to growl affectionately and gave Rika's hand a small lick. She then turned serious.
"Logan has offered to take us back to the mansion, for the X-Men. I'm going with them." Ryu nodded. Anywhere you go...I go too. Then then walked back to the others.
