As if matters couldn't get any worse then they already were, another member of Cain's minions had arrived faster then any thought possible. In his arms was a young girl, of whom only he and Logan would know. He walked in and noticed that Meav was standing infront of two other mutants, and with a look up, Logan was awake. He chuckled and sat Rose down against the wall, then sped over to stand next to Meav.
"Aw, Meav, don't tell me you were going to have a party without me."
He at Meav, then looked back to the two standing infront of him. Good, two more candidates he thought as he grinned, cracking his knuckles in the process. The drug he had placed inside Rose was enough to keep her out for a little bit, and he knew that Meav and him would be able to take these two long before Rose woke up.
"You know, you two could just join us. That way we wouldn't have to knock you out."

Rika and Black Cat might be a good Team together, but they failed to realize one thing. This was Meav they were fighting. She knew all their tricks, just as they knew hers. But, to say the least, being brainwashed changed you. And Meav wasn't as peaceful as she originally was. The two others had probably never seen Meav use her power in an offensive manner, which gave her the advantage.
Before she could do anything though, Ian was suddenly by her side, back from his trip to the School to find a certain mutant. Who, Meav didn't know. She didn't care. Her focus was on the intruders.
"Ian.... The man... Black Cat. I will leave you to handle him." She didn't look at Ian. "I won't be able to touch him, he is the same as you." Black Cat was a runner as well, Ian would be the only one out of the two capable of catching him. And that meant Meav could have her full attention on Rika and Ryu....
She smirked a little. "Little Rika has grown up." Her words were dark, almost taunting, as she took a few steps closer, raising her Crystal scythe into the air... Then swinging it across the front of her. Shards of crystals broke off from the weapon, firing at Rika and Ryu and dangerous speeds...

Ian looked to Meav as she pointed out the man, whom she named "Black Cat" to him. So the man was the same as Ian? Hah, nobody's the same as me, I'm better then all of them he thought to himself. Obviously the change Cain had done to him not only increased his powers, but increased his cockiness and ego as well. He smirked as he focused his attention on Black Cat.
"Alright, Cat, let's see what you got." Ian said, then shot forward, looking to strike Black Cat hard in the stomache.

Black Cat was getting ready to shoot at Meav when Ian came into the warehouse. He knew immediately as soon as he saw him that they were going to split them up, but he had a plan. He turned to Rika and whispered so that the other two couldn’t hear. “They’re going to split us up. Pretend to attack the one they give you but really go for the one that’s after me, and I’ll do the same for you.”
Black Cat then moved his gun up and fired. The bullet went right through the chain holding Logan to the ceiling and he fell. He then turned his attention back to the two changed mutants in front of him in time to hear Ian say that they can join them. “Sorry I was already part of a group like this. It didn’t fit.”
When Ian ran toward him he turned into his cat form, Ian’s leg going right over him. He then ran a couple of feet away and changed back, firing his gun as he did, the bullets heading straight for Ian…

Logan looked down as he saw Rose and Ian. He was almost glad to see them until he realised that not only was Rose laying up against the wall, but Ian was standing next to Meav. Had Cain gotten him to? It looked like there was going to be an all out mutant battle under him, until some shots fired from Black Cat caused the bonds over his head to snap. He came down, landing on his feet. Realising he was free, he looked around and noticed that Rika and Meav were occupied, as well as Ian and Black Cat. He saw Rose and ran to her, kneeling infront of her and gently shaking her.
"Rose, come on Rose wake up." he said, gently tapping the side of her face, "Come on, kid, snap out of it."
Ian was prepared for speed, what he wasn't prepared for was Black Cat turning into...well...a cat. He turned in time to see Cat turning back into a human and firing at him. He smirked, speeding past the bullets and appearing behind Cat. He drew back a fist and swung, hoping to catch his opponent off guard.
"Nice try, Kitten."

Black Cat watched that man that he shot down run over to the young girl and was making sure she was ok. He then turned his full attention to the boy in front of him. When Ian moved out of the way Black Cat actually smiled, that was exactly what he was hoping the teenager would do, because if Ian had looked closely at the bullets he would have seen that they weren’t aimed at him, but at Meav. Black Cat knew that Meav was to busy trying to hit Rika and Ryu that she wouldn’t see the bullets coming right at her, and with the teenage boy’s attention on him as well he wouldn’t notice either until it was to late.
The bullets hit their target, Meav’s wings. Without her wings Rika would have an easier time fighting her friend, plus the pain of having her wings shot would be a distraction for her. He hadn’t wanted to do it, but he knew that if he didn’t do something they would be in trouble.
Black Cat let Ian hit him, and after he did he took a few steps back and looked right in Ian’s eyes. “Are you sure about that?” Black Cat then appeared behind Ian and aimed a kick to his ribs.

Rika looked up at Meav in determination and noticed Ian coming in with...Rose?! Apparently Cain wanted a Nightshade in his little party. When Black Cat whispered his plan, Rika nodded, along with Ryu. "I haven't had much fun since Mairead! Ryu, you can't get to Meav, so focus your attention on Ian until we get Meav down permanently." Ryu nodded and sprinted to Black Cat's aid. Rika then smirked at Meav's words.
"Ya think?" When Meav shot her crystals, Rika quickly dodged them, as did Ryu. Rika then transformed into a falcon and flew up towards Meav with a loud screech...
Meanwhile, when Black Cat and Ian came to a standstill, Ryu sprinted, aiming for Ian and pounced, headbutting Ian's back with a loud howl...

"Meav! Look out!"
Ian couldn't believe how stupid he was at that he hadn't seen this coming. Black Cat wasn't aiming for him, he was aiming for Meav. Is distraction cost him, for while he was looking towards Meav, Black Cat and Rika's cat hit him hard and knocked him to the ground. He slid across the ground, standing up and shaking his head. He looked up at the Cat and...well, Black Cat, anger in his eyes.
"You wanna play that way, fine. Let's play!"
Ian shot off in a circle around the two mutants, moving faster and faster until his form was nothing but a blur of colors around them. A mass of wind began to kick up, spinning around them and spinning faster the faster Ian kept going around them.

Meav heard Ian's warning, her head snapping around to see what the hell was going on... Just in time to feel something rip through her fragile wings.
Her screech of agony was ear splitting.
What happened next, Rika and Black Cat knew well. Crystals started forming everywhere, but at a much more extreme then they'd ever seen before. The walls, the floors, everything was being covered in crystals. Even.... The people inside the warehouse. Struggling back to her feet again, Meav's eyes were dark with pure resentment and flickers of agony. Rika was flying towards her in falcon form. How cute...
A wall of crystal shot up in front of Rika. So close that it would be damn near impossible to not slam straight into it, and if she remained in falcon form? She'd probably snap her own neck.
Logan's attempts to wake Rose were useless. The drug she'd been given was obviously meant to keep her out for a long time.

When Ian started running around him and Ryu he fired his gun around in a circle, fast; knowing that at least one of the bullets had to hit. There was no way he could avoid them all. After his first gun ran out of ammo he started to run the other way, while pulling out another gun. If Black Cat couldn’t find Ian the same was said for Ian was well. Soon Black Cat was also a blur. When the bullets hit Meav and she screamed he had to cover his ears, but so did most of the other people in the warehouse. He knew that it would hurt, but he didn’t actually want to hit Meav. Her wings, while the most sensitive, were not vital for her survival. When the crystal started forming he knew that both he and Ian wouldn’t be able to use their speed. The ground was too uneven, and it was too dangerous.

Logan gave a shout as Meav screamed. He never thought his ears would be put through that much punishment in one minute. He looked as Crystals began forming everywhere, and even saw the opening being closed off by it. He didn't have long to waist, so he picked up Rose and made a break for it, leaping through the opening that was soon closed behind him. He was now outside of the factory, while the others were trapped inside.
"You can't shoot what you can't see, kitty kitty." Ian said with a laugh.
He watched as Black Cat began running in the other direction and he just continued to smile. What Ian didn't count on were two things: Meav's screams, which caused him to cover his ears while he ran, but also causing him to lose focus. Another was the ground turning to crystal under him, which caused him to not only loos his footing but, at the speed he was going, skip across the ground and slammed face first into the crystallized wall. As soon as he hit the wall, a sharp pain caused him to black out, and his body fell limp to the floor.

When Black Cat hit Meav's wing, Rika prepared herself for the scream...but not for the crystal pillar. She rammed into it with full force. Spots covered her vision and she was on the verge of blacking out and started falling toward the floor. If she hit that floor...she was done for. Soon, Rika had blacked out, falling faster and faster....
Ryu cringed when Meav screamed and prepared himself for the crystals. Black Cat and Ian had their speed contest, but he knew it would end quickly with the crystal environment. He waited for Ian to slow down and he actually ended up knocking himself out. But when he heard a screech from above, Ryu looked up. There was Rika, in her falcon form and she had rammed into a crystal pillar. Now she was falling, fast, toward the ground. He immediately transformed into his human form and sprinted for Rika. He wasn't going to make it...! Ryu then jumped forward and caught Rika in midair, landing hard. He gritted his teeth from the impact, but nothing was broken. Ryu saw that Rika had blacked out and wouldn't return to her normal form until she did...what would they do about Meav?

Black Cat had slowed down, and then stopped when he saw that crystals were forming. He still slid however, and fell down, but he wasn’t as injured as Ian and nothing was broken. He then walked over to where Ryu was holding the falcon form of Rika. “Is she ok?” He asked the wolf. After checking on Rika he walked over to where Ian lay unconscious. “To make sure he doesn’t wake up and become a problem for use.” Black Cat shot Ian in the legs, making sure not to hit bone or any vital parts. He only wanted to handicap him for now, not permanently. Black Cat then turned his attention to Meav. “It’s only you and me now Meav.” He didn’t count Ryu because he thought that he would be trying to protect Rika more then actually fighting.

Meav was ignoring everything other then her fight. She didn't realize Ian was down, or Logan and that girl Ian had brought were gone. All she cared about was that Rika was out. The crystal wall changed, sharp spiked forming on it's surface. She was ready to end this. They had hurt her wings. So they must pay.
Just as she was about to send crystal spikes at Ryu and Rika, she stopped, her whole body freezing. Black Cat? She thought Ian was handling him! Looking around, she spotted her so called ally, unconscious on the ground, with bullet wounds on his legs. Pathetic....
Her crystal pillar finally vanished, her whole attention focused on Black Cat now. She was smirking now. He might take shots at her wings, if only because she could live with out them, but he wouldn't take hits at her direct body. No, Black Cat wouldn't be able to get past the ties between them. And that was all she needed. She didn't say anything to him, crystals covering her arms once more, forming into weapons, a scythe again, along with what looked like a lance. Black Cat wouldn't use his speed with the slippery crystal surfaces...
She took several steps towards him, before swinging the crystal weaponry on her arms, sending waves upon waves of crystal spikes at him.

Rika groggily woke up and found her self in the arms of...someone. She looked up and recognized that rare, human face. "Ryu..." Soon, she transformed back into her human self and Ryu transformed back into his wolfy self. He looked at her, his eyes full of concern. "You ok?"
But Rika was REALLY pissed off now. All she cared about was taking Meav down and ripping her so-called precious wings to pieces. Focused and ready, she walked up to Black Cat. "Don't hesitate," Rika whispered. "She isn't Meav anymore. That doesn't mean kill her...but don't hesitate to hurt her. After that, we can bring her back." Rika soon transformed into an...elephant?! She barely fit into the factory, but her heavy legs crushed the crystal under her feet. She stomped around the factory, making sure not to step on Ian or her allies, but she soon got rid of the crystal on the floor.
