All was darkness, no sound, no feeling, nothing. It was a calm yet eerie silence, and the darkness was almost strangling. But then there was some strange sound, a constant thumping. Then another feeling, felt like something moving, something on him. No, it wasn't that something on him was moving, he was moving. Air seemed to be going in and out of him, and with one gust of air inside, two sets of eyes shot open.
His vision was blurry, and as he looked around, it began to become clearer. He was in some sort of strange place that looked almost familiar. It was then everything came back to him: The gas in the mansion, waking up in the factory...and Jackie. Then he remembered the pain. Of all the things he went through, almost vaporized, shot, stabbed, even burned, nothing compared to being boiled from the inside out.
He tried to move, then looked up and realized he was shackled to the ceiling. He looked around for anything that could be used to get him out of the situation, but he was stuck. He extended his claws and almost fainted once more. The metal that coated his claws...his skeleton, was gone. What had happened to him? He looked in the direction of something heading in his direction, so he closed his eyes, retracted his claws and let himself hang. He was getting out of here, and who ever was coming was going to help, willingly or no.

Rika wandered Japan, still in mourning over her hometown being destroyed by Cain. Ryu looked up at her, his eyes full of concern for his friend. They kept walking when soon, they saw an abandoned factory. Rika soon smiled and looked down at Ryu.
"Let's sleep here tonight." Ryu nodded and they ran toward the factory, reveling in the crisp wind rushing over their faces. Soon, they reached the entrance, but Rika stopped. Ryu then looked up in alarm. What is it? She narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "If this place is abandoned...why is there a lock on the door?" Ryu then looked toward the door and indeed, there was a mechanical, high-tech lock on it. He then backed away and looked at Rika, but she just stared at the door. "Let's go check it out," she suddenly whispered. Ryu's eyes widened, but he said nothing.
Rika then transformed into an osprey and flew up, looking for a way in. Ryu waited in silence, until Rika crowed in triumph. There was a small window made of glass, leading into the basement of the factory. Rika then made herself into a wolf, like Ryu and headbutted her way through the glass, shards glittering everywhere. It was a long drop, but Rika made it into her dark surroundings. It was dirty, smelly and these people obviously didn't have any fashion sense. Cobwebs hung everywhere. Soon, Ryu dropped in.
"What have we got ourselves into, Rika?" Rika just tilted her head. Look, we're just exploring. I bet you anything won't be here. She huffed in exasperation and started trotting forward, sniffing lightly and looking around. Ryu just followed suit, seeing if they find anything.

A scent came into the factory, one he found very unfamiliar. He opened on of his eyes and looked around to where ever the scent was coming from. It wasn't Cain, or Jackie, or anybody else that he had run into in the past. He continued to stay like he was unconscious, only to decide whether who ever was coming would be friend or foe. One thing was for sure, his arms were starting to get really tired. He once again looked up and growled as he tried to pull on the binds. Whatever these things were made of, it was keeping him trapped. He just sighed and continued to hang there, looking unconscious.

A scent suddenly blew by and both Ryu and Rika smelled it. A lot of sniffing went by, as they tried to figure out who it belonged to. It smelled like...a mutant. The difference between humans and mutants was very subtle, but Ryu knew, having smelled the difference all the time. The both sprinted toward and up the stairs. The trail was unmistakable. Soon, they stopped at the middle of the room and Rika looked around, confused.
"Rika...up there..." Ryu's snout was pointed upwards toward the source of the smell. Rika followed suit and her eyes widened as she saw a figure chained to the ceiling. It wasn't moving...soon, Rika transformed into her original form.
"Hey! Psst! Are you ok up there?" She whispered. For some reason, Rika didn't want to disturb the silence of the factory. She stared at the figure in concern, hoping that they weren't dead. Ryu just crouched, in case of any trouble.

The scent came closer, and he couldn't put his finger on where it was coming from. He smelled like one...no, two beings in the room, one more animal then the other. He heard a voice whisper nearby and then footsteps running up the metal stairs. He didn't understand why there were no sirens or alarms going off. Surely Cain would have planned things better, or had his ego and Jackie's manipulation caused them to think it didn't matter.
It was then he heard someone calling out to him. At first he didn't think anything of it, but when she asked if he was alright, he could almost feel the nervousness leaving him. They weren't here to harm him or him, they wouldn't be showing concern for him if they were. He allowed his head to lift and his eyes to open, keeping his own voice low in case something or someone was waiting.
"Yeah, I'm good. Look, I don't know if you can help me or not, but I need to get down from here. Can you get to the control room and deactivate these bonds?"

Rika heaved a sigh in relief. This guy was alive! She then turned and nodded to Ryu, who then pranced off to find the control room. "All right, Ryu's gone off to find the control room. I'm going to try and get you down anyway, if I can. What's your name by the way?"

"Thanks, kid." he was relieved to know he was going to be saved, "My name's Wolverine, what's yours?"
He watched as the wolf, whom the named Ryu, raced off to find the control room. He smirked a bit when she said she was going to try and get him down, but he wasn't sure how she planned to do it. The bonds seemed to go up and practically meld with the ceiling. He looked around the factory once more and couldn't believe the change it went through. He could tell a hint of Apocalypse's lab was melded in, as well as some technology from the mansion. He gave a small growl as he jerked at his bonds again. He had to get out of here and tell the others what he discovered.

Black Cat was in Japan, looking for anyone who could have survived of the ruminants, knowing that they would return to Japan at some point or another. When he got there he looked disbelieving at the ruins that had once been his home for so long. After a couple days of searching and trying to find out where exactly he was he headed to the warehouse district that had hidden the Tokyo Haven from the outside world, wondering if anyone would be there.
When he got there he saw someone head into one of the warehouses. He had thought that he had recognized the girl, but he wasn’t sure. It had been two years since they were attacked. He decided to follow her, just incase she was someone he knew. As he walked into the warehouse he saw a wolf go past him. He knew immediately who was here now even though he couldn’t see them yet. “Rika! Are you in here?” He yelled into the warehouse.

"I'm sorry... I can't allow any of you to escape...."
Rika and Black cat.... Would know that voice well. But, something was off. The voice was void of all emotions... And coming from high above them.
Meav was on the ceiling, quite literally, perched up on one of the support beams, obscured from sight... Until she suddenly pushed her body off her perch, dropping down.. down... her wings finally catching her and slowly her drop as she landed on the ground.
Not only would Black Cat and Rika recognize Meav, but also Logan. After all, he had been apart of the group that had rescued her the first time. Obviously his attempts had all been in vain....

Rika suddenly turned around and saw Black Cat and Meav suddenly appear on the scene. At first, she was happy to see them, but when she looked at Meav...something was off. It was confirmed when she spoke. "Ryu!" She called. The wolf suddenly burst back into view and his lip was curled into a snarl. A vicious growl escaped his throat. Rika got into a fighting position and yelled to Black Cat. "Don't trust her!"

Black Cat walked into the room that held Rika and Logan when Meav jumped from the beam. At first he was taken aback from her jumping out at him, then he was happy, then he was suspicious. He quickly walked over to where Rika was and got into his fighting stance. “Meav? What happened? This isn’t you.” When Rika said not to trust her he nodded his head. “I know. It’s not her.”

He was almost relieved when he felt he was being saved. When he heard someone yell for Rika, as it seemed was the s name infront of him, he jumped a little. He was about to tell who ever it was to keep it down, when another voice spoke. This one was very familiar to him, and as he watched, the that he, Ian and the others rescued. But why was she back? And why did she sound different.
"Oh no..."
Was all he could think of to say as he watched Meav go from the ceiling to the floor. It was definetly her, but somehow Cain must have gotten her. But how? They had all escaped unharmed, then he thought about Jackie, that must've been how. He struggled against his bonds, knowing that things will get out of hand. He didn't know who these two were or what their powers were, but he had a feeling he was going to find out.

Meav was smirking now, stretching out one of her hands to her side. Her whole arm was quickly engulfed in solid crystal, shaped almost hope a scythe. Meav would do anything to stop the escape. Cain would order it, and so she would do it...
"I know you two... No.. Three. I almost forgot Ryu there..." Her words were slow, but bare of any reaction. "And I know you two can't bring yourselves to strike me down..." Black Cat and Rika... She'd grown up with both of them. They thought of her as a sister, and she thought of them as siblings. But right now? She wasn't in her right mind, so say the least...

Ryu snarled at Meav's words. But Rika knew that Meav was right...she was like a sister. But...they didn't have to kill her. Just make her see sense...she turned to Ryu with a look he knew right away. He nodded and turned his focus back to Meav. Rika then turned to Black Cat.
"We need to distract her and get her to the ground." She whispered to him. Hopefully he would get the message.

Black Cat knew Meav was right as well. Black Cat was either the big brother or parent to a lot of what was left of the Tokyo Haven. When Rika told him her plan he nodded and pulled out one of his many guns. Black Cat had perfect aim, he could shoot at Meav and not hit her. “You give the word, and I shoot.” It had been two years since Rika and Black Cat Fought together, but they could still make a good team.
