Black Cat kept his attention on Meav. If her crystals got past his defenses he didn’t stand a chance. Black Cat was solely offensive, he didn’t have defensive ability besides avoiding things with speed, and Meav had taken care of that with her crystals. “Meav, this isn’t you!” He tried reasoning with her, while taking steps back, avoiding her crystal weapons.
When she shot her spikes at him he transformed into his cat form again. All her crystals were aimed at human height, not cat height; they were all going over him. When she stopped he transformed back into his human self. He then noticed that Rika was awake and was walking over to him. When she told him not to hesitate he nodded. “I know. The only way to get her back is to make it so she can’t fight back.”
When Rika started breaking the crystal Black Cat said, “Thanks.” With the crystal gone he could use his speed and avoid the crystals that Meav through at him. Using his speed Black Cat ran behind Meav and shot his bullets at her back, taking careful aim so that if they hit they wouldn’t hit anything vital.

Sky kept cursing to herself as she kept running. She saw, through Ian's eyes, that he was heading toward an abandoned factory nearby to help out...Meav. That was her name. Another one of Cain's lackeys, no doubt. Soon, when she got closer, she sensed other mutants there, fighting. Almost out of breath, she came to a stop when she saw two people outside of the factory. One of them was...Logan. Wolverine. And the other was...Rose! Despite her body's complaints, Sky kept running to where the two of them were. Finally, she reached them. Rose was unconscious from a drug Ian gave her and Wolverine escaped from where the other mutants were now fighting. Sky looked at Logan. It must've been unexpected for him when she spoke to him telepathically.
This is my sister! I think I can wake her up. Her specialty was with the mind. Soon, Sky desperately searched where all the sedative was in her brain and basically neutralized it with another chemical. She then prodded at Rose's mind, trying to convince her brain it was time to wake up. Ro-chan...Ro-chan!!

Meav didn't react at all to Rika's waking up. She didn't care if her crystal was destroyed. She could always make more. Much.... much more. Black Cat's words meant nothing to her. How did he know this wasn't her? Who was to say Cain hadn't just... awakened her slumbering, real, self?
But Rika, how annoying. She was freeing Black Cat from the restriction's her crystals had put on him. Dammit!
Then, Black Cat was gone! Where was he now...? Her gaze searched the warehouse, trying to find where Black Cat would stop running at. Behind her! She knew he'd attack from there. He'd want to take her by surprise. She smirked a little, spinning around just as Black Cat came to a stop long enough to fire his weapon. Her own crystal weapons lashed out, to take Black Cat's throat when....
All the crystal in the warehouse started to crumble. Meav was shocked... Black Cat had... shot her? A switch in her head seemed to flip, Meav's real emotions pushing past Cain's brainwashing. "Black... Cat..." Her words were agonizing, realization in them at what she had been doing, and obviously from the spots she had been shot. Black Cat had intended to only hit not fatal spots in her back. Her turning though... Had lead to several shots dangerously close to vital organs.

When all the crystal started crumbling, Rika immediately knew that Black Cat had taken out Meav. Maybe...she was back to normal? Rika transformed back into her human self and ran towards Meav. "Meav! Meav!!" She stayed below Meav, in case she were to fall. Ryu decided to be useful and walked over to where Ian was lying, making sure that if he woke up, then he would wake up to a menacing wolf.

Rose didn't know where she was, or what was going on. The drugs she'd been given coursing through her blood stream so strongly... There was little chance of her waking until they wore off. The problem? The dosage she'd been given was nearly twice what you would give someone her age or size. Cain really hadn't wanted Rose waking up anytime soon. She was dead weight as Logan carried her from the building before they were trapped inside.
Even when Sky showed up... There was little reaction from Rose. Sky's attempt to tamper with Rose's head met a wall, one Rose had put up in her mind as she fell unconscious. It was to protect herself. Stay asleep and you won't have to deal with any of this ever again... The words were like a lullaby, rocking Rose deeper and deeper into the darkness.
Ian had betrayed her....
Why would she ever want to wake up in a world where Ian was on a side different then hers?

Black Cat lowered his gun, and watched as Meav turned toward him. His eyes widened when she tried to choke him with her crystals, only to see them started to crumble. He closed his eyes and cursed. She wasn’t supposed to turn around! The shots were aimed at spots in her back, not her stomach. As Meav started to fall he saw Rika run toward their friend, but Black Cat was already there and he jumped and grabbed Meav, making sure she didn’t hit the floor.
“Dang it!” That wasn’t supposed to happen. Black Cat gently laid his friend on the floor, taking of his jacket that he was wearing and started tearing it to make make-shift bandages to try and stop Meav’s bleeding. “Rika I need help. She turned around, and I might have hit something important.”

Logan didn't know what to do, Rose almost seemed . Just in case he checked her pulse, then he heard a voice in his head speaking to him. He stood up and extended his claws on reflex, but soon saw Sky coming out and sitting next to Rose. Did she say she was Rose's sister? That would mean that she was...but she was different, she didn't attack him, she was more concerned with Rose.
"I'll get Ian, we need to get them back to the mansion. Xavier can help there." he took a few steps towards the factory, then turned and looked to Sky, "You're welcome to come along."
He then ran into the factory and witnessed something that made him almost drop. A bird transforming into a human, a human transforming into a wolf, and a human transforming into an...elephant? If he was human this would've been too much for him to take in, but when Black Cat took down Meav, he made his way to Ian. Paying no mind to the wolf, he picked up his young friend. The elephant had changed back after stomping around, but why then was the factory still shaking? Oh crap. was the only thought in his head as he looked up and, sure enough, the factory was beginning to collapse from the amount of stress it was under from the attacks.
"We have to get out of here!" he looked to the others when he spoke, "This place is going to collapse and quick!"

Meav's body gave way on her, sending her crumpling to the ground. But.... She never hit it. Black Cat suddenly had his arms around her, supporting her weight. Black Cat had... shot her? Even in her right state of mind she couldn't see how he would do something like that, even if she was going insane!
Ugh... her body felt like lead, it being near impossible to keep her eyes open anymore. But still, she had to stay with them. She tried to reach out, to touch Black Cat or Rika, but her hand couldn't move more then a few inches. It hurt, really hurt! God, now she knew why gun shots killed people! "I'm.... sorry...." She had hurt Rika, tried to kill both of them. It seemed only fair... She pay for her crimes with her own life....

When Black Cat yelled for her help, Rika ran over and helped to put pressure on Meav's wounds. She then heard Logan yelling that the building was about to collapse and panic rose within her. Meav was in critical condition and they shouldn't move her at all, but they would all get squashed if they didn't. "We have no choice..." Rika then pulled out her cellphone out of her pocket and dialed 911. She spoke rapidly in Japanese, telling the police to bring an ambulance to this location. And that there was a person in critical condition that needed help immediately. Rika then shut off the cell and kept putting pressure. She turned to Black Cat. "I just called the police...they'll be coming here soon. Hopefully they can help Meav. But we need to get out of here! Let's carry her."
Ryu sniffed Logan as he examined Ian. After seeing the building start to collapse, he sprinted towards Rika and stood by her side, ready to protect her if necessary or to help.

Black Cat started tying the strips he had turned his jacket into on the wounds that Rika started applying pressure to. How could he have been so stupid? He shouldn’t have shot her, it was just to risky, and he knew that and he shot anyway. He could shoot himself, but right now he needed to help Meav. “Meav don’t you dare close your eyes! You need to stay alive!” Black Cat was almost pleading with her. If she died he would never forgive himself.
When Logan shouted that the building was about to collapse Black Cat nodded and gently picked up his friend. Walking swiftly, but gently toward the exit. When they were outside he again laid Meav on the ground. The only thing he could do now was wait for the ambulance to get here and hope it wasn’t to late.

Ryu snarled and suddenly bit down on Meav's wings. Rika screamed at Ryu. "What on earth are you doing?!?! She's bad enough as it is!! Stop it!!" She got up and tugged at Ryu, trying to get him off Meav, but it was impossible. With a loud growl, Ryu then tore off one of the wings. Blood matted at his snout, but he didn't care. He walked to Meav's other side, while Rika screeched and pulled at him. "STOP IT!!!!!" But Ryu didn't pay attention and with a snarl, he chomped on Meav's other wing, tearing it off. With a huff, he sat down. But Rika wasn't done.
"She's our friend, Ryu and you tore her freaking WINGS off!!!! Why would you do that?!?!!! Why?!?!!" She shook him, trying to get an answer. Ryu just snarled at her, which he NEVER did. Because YOU were too soft to do it, Rika! She may still be under Cain's influence! Have you ever considered that?! He bared his bloody teeth at her and then trotted off to clean himself off. Rika then ran back over to Meav and tore some strips off her own jacket and and wrapped them around Meav's shoulder blades, where her wings were...

Sky saw that Rose didn't want to wake up...otherwise, she'd be tortured by the fact that Ian was now one of Cain's henchmen. But she needed to! Sky kept prodding Rose's mind, like an alarm clock that wouldn't turn off.
Ro-chan! It's Sky...please, wake up, Ro-chan! Ro-chan!!

Black Cat was sitting near Meav making sure that she was going to be ok. He was still beating himself up about shooting her. There had to have been another way, he shouldn’t have had to shoot her. He was wallowing in his thoughts when he saw Ryu grab Meav’s wings and start tearing them off. “Ryu. Stop.” But he was too late and Meav’s wings were gone. He then turned to face Rika. “Why did he do that?” How could Ryu do that? When Meav was already in critical condition.

Meav had tried to smile when Black Cat spoke to her. How she'd missed these two. After so long of not seeing them, she'd really given them a chaotic greeting.... Some friend she was.
"You... Need to get out... of here..." She paused, her voice faint as she started to fade. "Before they come back..." A searing pain in her back seemed to make her wide awake though. A pain... Unlike any other she'd ever felt before. If she could have, she would have screamed.
She blacked out. Finally... After all the abuse she'd just gone through, finally there was peace...
((No, she is NOT dead! But pretty dang close!))

Logan looked around him as he held Ian in his arms. Meav was fading and fast, Rose wasn't coming to even with Sky's attempts. It was time for him to take charge of things before they got out of hand. He looked to Sky first.
"Grab Rose. We need to get out of here. You two," he looked towards Black Cat and Rika, "Take Meav somewhere safe. If you need to you can come with us. We have the best doctors in the world."
He smiled when he said this, thinking of Hank and Hazel. He was sure that they would welcome everyone with open arms...and hospital beds, but he wasn't sure how they will take his new loss of weaponry. They needed to get out of here before the humans showed up and did God knows what. What's worse, if Cain and Jackie came back then there really would be problems.
"There's not much time to explain to any of you about what's going on right now. But Cain isn't alone in this, and if we don't get out of here then we're not leaving at all."
