Rory laughed a bit, "Me too, lass. The guy who invented alarms was an idiot." He said with a resolute nod. If he could go back in time to kill anyone, it would probably be the guy who made alarms. Rory couldn't count how many times he's got in trouble because of them. Again he had to laugh softly at what ]she said, "I think we've been in trouble fer quite a while now." He said, and they had. Pretty much since they woke up this morning.
It was a bit funny though how well he and Freya got along all things considered. He'd seen Freya around other people, and seen himself around other people. Most of the time it seemed like they were both a inch away from just killing everyone around them that gets too close. Though, when they were together? They couldn't get close enough, such as times like now even. "Aye... But if I had to say either of us was more of a trouble magnet, I'd probably say it was you." He said with a smirk, "Of course, that's why I like being around you." His smirked turned into a soft smile, it was true. Rory generally loved trouble and adventure.

Alarms really were a pain, because even if you stopped them, everyone still came to investigate and find out why it had gone off in the first place. Sure, they could be useful if the alarms were yours, just sucked when they weren't. The days experiences proved that. "We should have just stayed in the tent then." She smiled, and if she were more awake, it probably would have been that exact smile he liked so much. Looks like she was to blame for the days events. Stupid common sense...
Her smile grew a little more sheepish when he mentioned we was more of a trouble magnet then him. "Comes with the name, sorry hun." The name Elensar really was the cause of most the troubles sent her way. All because her mother had been such a famous and infamous individual. "I would hope so. You're not the type to like things being dull." She could feel the drugs starting to wear off, her bod no longer as heavy as it had been, but that didn't mean she wasn't tired. It wasn't like she'd had all that much time to recover from over using her power so much.

If there had been anything said to day that was an absolutely true statement, it had to be that they should have just stayed in the tent. Rory had to agree completely, if it weren't for having to leave the tent none of this would have happened at all. Perhaps it was for the best though, even if a lot of bad things happened today, Rory had gotten information on Cain, maybe that would be worth it.
"No... I suppose I'm not." He said, finding it completely ironic that when Freya and he had met, he was living in New York trying to start a normal life. Though, meeting her just seemed to prove that he would never have a normal life... And he was ok with that. "Then again, I don't think you are either." He said with a soft laugh, glancing at the burning coat and letting out a sigh, "Ye should probably get some sleep lass, while we still got a fire."

She smiled softly. Neither of them had ever been normal. And so, normal was something neither of them could ever be happy with. Normal was a poison for them, it would slowly drive them mad. "I don't want things to ever be dull." It was a good thing then that both of them could cause havoc wherever they went.
Freya scowled a little when he told her to go to sleep, half wanting to listen, half wanting disobey. But... She did need to rest. And the sooner she got that rest, the sooner she could get back to full strength. Then, they wouldn't have to worry about a fire. "I guess..." She sighed. "Don't worry. We won't have to worry about the cold soon...." She slowly closed her eyes, letting herself slowly fade back into slumber.

Not only was normality somewhat of a poison for them, it was virtually impossible as Rory found out. With Freya being an Elensar, and Rory wanted in many countries and known by too many powerful mutants, there was never going to be a chance for normal. "Well... As long as we're together, I don think there will be a dull moment." That was proven time and time again. If they weren't getting in fights, then they were wrapped up with each other, there hadn't been a dull moment since he started dating Freya.
As Freya faded off to sleep, Rory watched her calmly. Brushing a bit of hair away from her face, and leaning over to kiss her softly on the cheek again. "Good night... A gra ma chroi." He said with a soft smile. Once he was sure she was asleep he pulled the burning coat closer to them. Then moved slightly, making sure not to wake Freya, and laid down next to her. Pulling himself close and wrapping an arm around her, while he probably would have slept like this anyways, he was also doing it to keep her warm. Then, in a few moments he too drifted off to sleep.

_________________________________________________ Unlike the days before, Freya's 'alarm clock' didn't go off in her head, to tell her to wake up at 8 that next morning. Instead, she slept until she was free of all exhaustion, out like a light until near ten. And then, the only thing that had woken her was the sudden realization that even though Rory held her close to him, both of them were freezing. Her response? She cuddled up even closer to Rory, slowly warming the air around them. Their 'coat' fire had gone out quite a while ago, but like she'd promised, they wouldn't have to worry about the cold. A good nights rest was more then enough for Freya to be back in top condition.

Despite how cold it was throughout the night, Rory had slept quite peacefully. In fact, the night before when he and Freya slept together he slept more peacefully than he usually did. Often, he would have nightmares, horribly images of a past he couldn't remember. Though, when he was with her, he slept like a baby. It seemed she had a way to calm him down not only while he was awake, but asleep as well.
Suddenly, he felt a slight stirring in front of him, slowly opening his eyes he forget he had fallen asleep with Freya curled up next to him. Thinking she was still asleep, he simply adjusted his arm as she pushed closer to him. Then he felt himself starting to get warmer, "Freya..." Rory spoke softly, barely above a whisper.

It was a little bit of a surprise to Freya that neither of them had frozen during the night, but, considering how close they'd been, it made a little sense. Still though, it didn't mean they had to freeze now that Freya wasn't completely exhausted. She'd just have to be a little more careful in case they ran into more trouble.
She smiled a little when Rory shifted slightly as she snuggled closer, as if not even considering to say anything until he started notice the heat rising to a more comfortable temperature. Grinning a little, she turned a little so she could look up at him. "I told you we wouldn't have to worry about the cold..." Was he going to tell her not to use her power again? If he did.... Well to bad! They were both freezing, and Freya did not like being cold. So, by default, Rory would just have to deal with it as well.

It still surprised Rory a little that only a few days ago he and Freya had only been on kissing, now, they couldn't get close enough. The fact that they had been cuddling through the night seemed to suggest why. The cold caused people to come together faster than anything else, if not for love, then for warmth. After all, last night would have been much colder if they hadn't been so close.
Just as he had thought, Freya was awake, and was the cause of the sudden heat. "Freya, ya need to..." He was about to tell her to rest her powers more, but now that she was fully alert and had rested, he knew he wouldn't be able to convince her to do it. "Thank ye, lass." He said, kissing her on the neck softly.

It wasn't just the cold that had caused them to progress so far in their relationship. Being completely alone with each other for so long was a major factor as well. There were no interruptions to have stopped them, not to mention going through some of these trials of near losing each other... Just about everything about this little mission had been pushing for the two to grow even closer.
Freya just raised an eyebrow as he stopped himself, knowing what he was about to say, and half daring him to continue. Of course she wouldn't listen, and he'd obviously just realized that. She smiled a little, happy that he had decided to end the useless argument before it even started. She sighed softly when she felt a kiss on her neck. "Mmmhmm." She didn't know why, but one of the things she'd discovered the other night was just how distracting it was when he was kissing her neck...

No matter what the cause of how close they had gotten over this trip, one thing was certain, they were not going home the same as they had come. Their relationship had grown extremely close in such a short time, amazingly short, but it felt right. Rory really couldn't imagine himself being with anyone else... In fact, he never really had been with anyone else like this. Most girls annoyed him just like every other person.
As his body got warmer, he could feel himself getting more awake and alert. He grinned a little as he heard her response, kissing her neck a bit longer, and moving down closer to her shoulder, "I'm not bothering you am I?" He asked with a smirk, kissing back up her neck toward her jawline.

Time really didn't seem to matter to them. After all, they'd fallen for each other after one meeting! Still, their quick pace would probably shock most people. It was a good thing Tari didn't know to much about how deep into the relationship these two were. Because if she did.. Well, Freya had best learn how to resurrect as well, because both of them would have needed it.
Rory was taking advantage of her reaction, that was completely and totally obvious. Right now though? Freya really didn't care. They hadn't been able to be intimate since the morning before, before all the chaos had begun. "Does distracting count as bothering..?" She sighed again, closing her eyes as he left a trail of kisses down to her shoulder, then slowly back up again.

True, now was probably a bad time for Rory to be kissing her like this what with everything they've been through. Though, he couldn't stop himself, right now, in this cave, they had very little to worry about. They were warm, they were protected, and more importantly they were together. Not to mention they probably wouldn't get a chance to kiss like this for quite a while once again.
"Only if you don't want to be distracted..." He said, continuing his soft and slow kissing of her neck. Slowly he moved away from her just a bit, only said he could pull her onto her back a bit more. Still as close as he could be without laying completely on top of her, he left his arm over her chest, and stopped kissing her neck and softly pressed his lips against hers. All of the kissing was done softly, lovingly, nothing close to the frantic kising they usually did. It was almost as if Rory was saying that he was happy she was with him and alive, through the kisses.

"Being distracted is good right now..." It took her mind off of things, worries that they should have been a little more focused on. Right now though, she didn't care. She didn't want to have such cares at the moment. All she wanted to care about was Rory. They were in a beautiful setting behind a waterfall of ice, it was the perfect temperature. The only problem? They didn't have the sleeping bags to lay on to cushion some of the rocks under them, thankfully Freya barely even felt them.
She smiled softly when he shifted, her fingers entangling with his that he left across her chest. She leaned into his sweet kisses, feeling the exact same emotions as he was. That frantic urge was no where to be found, right now they were just enjoying each other's company.

"Then perhaps I should distract ye some more..." He said with a coy smile. Were they really going to start something here, in this cave? Rory doubted it, this didn't seem like the kind of atmosphere there was in the tent. Then again, the atmosphere in the tent changed from arguing to what they did for the rest of the night in seconds. Still though, unless Freya decided to make a move, he knew it wouldn't move past gentle kissing. Which was probably for the best considering how her day was yesterday.
The kissing now was much more relaxing, and loving, so much different than it had been before, but still just as amazing. Rory broke away from the kiss slightly, kissing down her neck again and speaking between each kiss. "I didn't realize how much I cared about you until yesterday when you were gone... I was... Scared." It was hard for him to say that, it was always hard for him to say what he was feeling, but he felt that he had to say it. He slowly kissed back up to her lips again, just as softly as before.
