While Freya's mood swings were enduring, and made things interesting for worse or better at times, he was just glad Freya had yet to see Rory's different moods. His moods didn't really change that much, nor did they ever change from being annoyed to being happy, those were generally his two settings. Thankfully, she had never seen his darker side, and only a hint of it was shown on the mountain... And she had been unconscious the entire time. Hopefully she would never have to see it either...
Rory paused for a moment when she spoke, she did have a very valid point, as much as he didn't want to admit it. "Well, as much as I don't want to boost yer ego any more." He said with a slight smirk, knowing she'd count this as a "win", "But ye can consider me... Thoroughly motivated." He said quietly, with another wink.
As the old woman spoke, Rory immediately picked up on her tone. Though, he and Freya weren't exactly hiding their relationship at all... After all, they were still holding hands, though Rory let go of Freya so she could call while he turned back to the old woman, "So... How do ye know Xavier?" It had been a question that was nagging at him.

Freya really wanted to laugh, but the old woman would probably start to wonder what they were talking about if she did. Instead, she just grinned widely. "Yeah, I didn't think my ego could get any bigger." She wasn't exactly the most humble person around, after all...
"Well then, It looks like my job is complete." She was smirking, finally turning her attention away from Rory and towards the woman. Reluctantly they finally let go of each others hands, Freya's lightly brushing past his arm as she wandered across the room to begin calling for their ride.
The elderly woman closed her book as the questioning began. She knew one of the two would ask it sooner or later. "My son went to the school, back when it was first built." It was obvious, the woman was human, but her allegiance lay with the X-men, as did her son...

"Well, that's what I thought when I first met ya." He said glancing at her, talking about how "big" her ego was, "But I think it's grown since then, so who knows?" He asked with a smirk. It wasn't exactly like Rory didn't have an ego either, he just didn't show his as much as Freya, and would never mention it right now for fear of being called a hypocrite.
"I guess so..." Rory said with a slight laugh, watching her as she walked away from him. He turned back toward the old lady as she spoke, but he couldn't stop his gaze from turning back to Freya, then slowly looking down her figure. It was funny that even after the amount of time they had spent together, he still felt like a lovestruck teenager around her.
Quickly his head snapped back to the old lady as he realized he was barely listening to what she was saying, "Oh aye? I guess that makes sense then. Well... Thank ye, for the clothes." Rory said, glancing down at the shirt and pants. They were somewhat tight on him, but otherwise fit just fine.

Freya just shrugged, though was still smirking. It probably had grown, but it wasn't like she 'kept track' of it or anything.... Though it seemed like Rory was. "Makes me wonder just how big your ego is then." Rory was much better at hiding his pride then she was, which was rather entertaining when he was willing to show it, if only because it was such a rare occurrence. Maybe that should be her next goal...
She could feel his gaze on her as she left his side, slowly looking over her shoulder at him for a moment with a sly smirk and eyebrows raised, as if taunting him again, before turning her attention back to the phone.
The elderly woman just nodded when he thanked her, not even bothering to say anything else as Freya returned to Rory's side. "They're on their way."

Rory simply grinned at her sort of question. Like he would admit he had a big ego, even if he did have one. Due to the fact that he was regularly pummeled and beaten by mutants twice as powerful as him, it was something that easily humbled him. Then again, it also boosted his ego knowing that he brought down those some mutants only moments after they beat him. It was a sort of never ending cycle.
He turned to Freya as she moved by his side again, smiling slightly if only because he couldn't help it when she was around. "We should probably head out to meet them then." The landing area where they had been dropped off was also where they would probably pick them up, and it was a short distance from town. Even though he wasn't wearing heavy clothing, he would rather leave now and wait for them out there than in the house or town where people would ask too many questions. "If yer ready to go that is."

Freya just smiled in response to his, he usually wasn't this smiley unless she was around. She'd notices early on that he seemed to be much more hospitable when she was nearby. The closer she was, the warmer he got.
She took his hand when he spot, still smiling softly up at him. "I guess so." She turned her attention to the elderly woman for a moment, and nodded. "Thank you for your help." A short pause as she looked back to Rory. "Didn't we already discuss this?"She raised an eyebrow, before grinning and pulling him back towards the front door. The sooner they got there, the sooner they could leave this place, after all.

More often than not, Rory was in a much better mood when Freya was around. It was also true that the closer she was to him, the better mood he was in. It was probably why the Professor let her hang around the mansion so much, and be in the danger room with Rory as well as other X-men and teacher only areas. Because Rory was much more calm and much less aggressive while she was by him.
Rory smirked in response to her comment. Yes, they had already discussed it and knowing that she wanted to get back to mansion just as badly as him, and for the same reasons, made him grin a little. He let her lead him out of the door and back outside, "We should probably stick to the alleys until we are out of town... So we don't draw any attention."
After all, it would be strange to see a man who had been covered in blood and limping suddenly walking out of the house moments later perfectly fine. So Rory pulled Freya into the space between the old woman's house and another, heading out of town, and leading the way this time.

Freya just nodded. "Yeah, good idea." It was a good thing Rory was more into being stealthy then she was, because otherwise she might have just walked right through the center of the town.... and probably freaked out every single person in sight. Which wouldn't be the best idea. "It's nice to know that we don't always think alike." Sure, similarities were great most the time. The other times.... Well, times like these their differences really were life savers.
She followed him quickly behind the houses and out of town, heading for the place they'd been dropped off. Their ride was probably close by now, it would only be a matter of minutes....

Rory led Freya from house to house, sticking to the alleys and avoiding any main street as much as possible. Though it took much longer than he thought it would, they were finally out of town and heading for the place where they were dropped off. "We don't think alike that much... Only when it comes to... Certain things." He said with a wink. 'Certain things' meaning their more intimate moments, of course. After all, that is when they seemed to think alike the most.
The area they were standing in now was perfectly flat, and completely empty. The town could barely be seen behind them. Thankfully though, the day was completely clear, and while still very cold, there was no wind or blizzard to make it worse. Rory continued holding Freya's hand as he looked up into the sky to see if maybe the jet was already there.

"Hm...." He did have a point. "Maybe. But those 'certain things' are one of the only things we've been interested in lately." She was smirking again. At least, it was one of the only things she'd been interested in lately. Not to mention she had stopped him before he went two far twice now so he was probably a little frustrated and half mad with not being able to continue right now. They'd just have to wait until they got back, a concept that both of them seemed to understand fully right now.
Freya leaned close to Rory as they waited, her head resting on his shoulder. She didn't bother keeping an eye out for the Jet like Rory, he'd tell her when it close, not to mention she just might hear it in this windless weather.
Overheard, the jet swooped down, slowly beginning it's descent...

"That's actually very true..." He said with a slight smirk. It had been pretty much the only thing either of them seemed to be thinking about, almost since they started dating. It was understandable though, except for one time on a mountain in the middle of nowhere, they had always been interrupted before they could finish. Though, up here, most of the times they had been interrupted it was because Freya stopped them, which partially annoyed Rory. However, he knew they could finish as soon as they got him.
As Freya leaned against him, he let go of her hand, and instead wrapped his arm around as they waited. Though, it didn't take long, in only a few moments Rory saw the glint of the jet far above them. Soon, it was descending onto the flat area in front of them. Barely making a noise, it finally landed and the back door dropped open, "About time... I was freezing me arse off." Rory muttered as he made his way into the plane. "Well, at least this wasn't a total waste of time... I'm sure the Professor will love what I have to tell him." He said with a slight grin, he hadn't even told Freya about what the Snitch had told him while being... Persuaded by Rory.

Freya smiled a little as he wrapped an arm around her. Instinctively the air around the couple started to heat up, getting rid of most of the cold chill. She didn't want to melt the snow though, in case one of the townspeople was watching for some reason. She would be happy when they were inside though, for two reasons. The first being they'd be on their way back home where she could spend time recovering from this and being with Rory, and the second being she'd no longer need to continually heat both of them up because of the cold. "Yeah, sure you were."
Her tone was both sarcastic and hurt, the hurt part obviously hurt. She had been warming them up after all! She smiled softly, slipped from his arm and taking his hand in hers again, pulling him towards the Jet. She paused though when she heard the rest of what he had to say, an eyebrow raised. "Do I want to know what you're talking about?" Probably not... Rory must have done something while she was out...

Rory smirked slightly when she questioned him, toying with the decision of whether or not to tell her. "Probably not..." He finally admitted. He didn't really want her to know that he had brutally tortured a man to extract information, but more importantly, tortured him because he took Freya. There was a bit of satisfaction in Rory's voice as he thought about the bloody scene the people who were coming to help the snitch found. Hopefully it would serve as a warning...
"Let's just say I found out where Cain is hiding... And leave it at that." He said with a nod, pulling Freya into one of the seats on the jet beside him as they began to take off. Soon, they were in the air and headed back for the mansion, back to a warm bed, and back to a little bit of private time for both of them.
