If Rory could have seen the color draining from her face, it would have made this so much harder. That was why he wouldn't look at her though, he didn't want to see what she felt or thought about it, he knew it would only make him feel worse. Though, he was going to die anyways, the stupid bone woman had made sure of that. So this was the smartest choice.
When their lips met, it felt too much like a goodbye kiss for Rory, even more so when she broke away. Though, he smiled slightly when she spoke, "Don't worry, it'll take a lot more than Rocky to take me down fer good." He said with a comforting smile, what he didn't say though was that collapsing a mountain side on top of him would probably do it. Then, she was gone.
Rory waited until she was gone, then walked over the pillar and leaned against it with the hallway to the exit in front of him. Slipping the detonator out of his pocket and playing with it. Just as expected the creature almost immediately exploded from the ground in front of him. "Oi! Why don't ye come over and kiss my nice white Irish arse!" Rory yelled with a laugh, which seemed to thoroughly anger the man. The man charged Rory, but he didn't do anything yet. He was going to wait a bit before he blew the pillar up, to give Freya enough time to get out, thankfully the creature moved slow.
After a few moments the man had built up speed and was running to tackle Rory, but right as he got to him Rory dove between the giants legs and lept to his feet on the other side. "... Now pucker up!" Rory yelled with a devilish grin, pushing the button on the detonator. He was blown backwards, slamming against the wall, but able to get up and start running down the hall for the exit. He couldn't move fast enough between his loss of blood and how many broken bones he had gotten from the explosion. Soon the entrance to the hall collapsed on him and then.... darkness.

Freya ran as fast as she could, never daring to look back. Rory would be coming back to her, she knew that. Still, knowing he was suffering through death for that to happen..... It was heart wrenching.
She'd reached the exit, pushing the door open and stumbling out right when she heard the first of the explosions. She flinched, collapsing into the snow and gasping. Exhaustion was finally catching up to her, her head swimming. She just wanted to lay down and close her eyes. How tempting it sounded. She didn't though. She had to wait for Rory to come back.
How long might he be dead though? She didn't know, minutes? Hours?
"Where's the guy?"
Freya jumped, back on her feet as quickly as she could to turn around and look over her shoulder. It was.. the snitch? What was he.... They really had been set up.. "You set us up... Why?" Freya's head hurt, but she forced herself to stay conscious. "Because, it'd be two less X-men to deal with. But you're not an X-man are you..?" He was grinning, stepping towards her. "Cain would like to meet you, Ms. Elensar."
How had he found out who she was? Had she somehow blown her cover?! No... From the look of it... He'd followed them? But how? "How do you know who I am?" Freya tried to gather fire in her hands, to tell him to back off as he kept stepping closer and closer. "I have my ways. Don't go wasting your energy, you can barely even stand..." Freya was getting angry, even though she could do near nothing. He was right. It took everything she could muster to just stay standing. But... She was going to kill this snitch for what he had done. Because of him, Rory was dead, having to wait for himself to revive and leave her worrying over him.
She forced herself to act, putting all the remaining energy she had into one powerful strike, lightning. If he was struck, he'd be dead, no doubt about it. Fire might only burn him. Freya exhaled, letting the lightning race towards him. What happened after that, she didn't know, Freya blacked out.
What ever happened, she'd somehow missed. And if Rory made it out of the rubble, he'd notice two things, the first being Freya wasn't there, and the second, scorch marks on the outer wall left from her strike...

Time was impossible to track while Rory was "dead". Though he could never truly die, even by medical standards, he would black out. During that time anything could happen, and often did. The rocks in the hallway slowly began to move, until Rory pushed his way out and collapsed on the ground. He was soaked with blood and his clothes were in tatters, but he felt great.
He pushed himself to his feet and rushed for the door where he thought Freya would be. Their packs and clothing were gonna, and Freya wasn't there. Despite wearing little clothing, and most of it being torn, he stepped outside. It was starting to get dark, but it was clear... And Freya was no where outside. However, upon closer examination he saw footprints all over in the snow and behind him on the wall... Scorch marks...
There were two sets of tracks on the ground and the ones left from him and Freya had long since been covered up. Rory reached for a gun, but they were all shattered and his knives bent from the collapse of the ceiling on top of him. Turning around he saw his climbing pick, still stuck in the door. He walked over, ripping it out of the metal door, and began following the tracks. Though he appeared calm, under the surface he was feeling a mixture of anger and fear he had never felt before. If something happened to Freya... Heaven help the person who did it.

The snitch obviously knew his way about these mountains, far better then they did at least. Before taking Freya to far he'd pulled out some sort of drug to keep Freya from waking any time soon. After all, you didn't want the person you were kidnapping waking up on you! That was one of the the first rules of kidnapping.
Having to carry Freya's weight obviously slowed him down, but he had a head start. If he'd known Rory was back from the dead though... Well, he wouldn't have been taking his sweet time. But what Rory didn't realize, there was more then one compound up here. After all, how else were they supposed to make quick getaways?
The Snitch was following a cliff wall, scanning it's surface carefully for a hidden door. Finally he found it, pushing it open and pulling himself and the unconscious Freya inside. When the door was shut it was difficult to tell it was even there unless you were specifically looking for it. The inside was like a cave, with a monitor on one wall, and supplies stacked everywhere. This place was obviously used for storage mostly. Rummaging through the boxes he found something that he could use to bind Freya's hands and feet, leaning her up against the wall as he started up the monitor to send out the message to have someone come pick him and his... guest up.

Rory continued following the tracks down the mountain with a dangerous speed, often sliding down the side of the mountain a ways. He was almost shaking with fury by now because there was only one set of tracks and they were larger than Freya's. Not to mention, with how deep they were imprinting into the snow, the person must have been carrying something. So he continued his, almost running, down the mountain side, often holding out the climbing pick to keep him from sliding to far.
Suddenly the tracks took a sharp turn along a cliff face. Rory carefully made his way onto it where the tracks disappeared on the rock. The cliff wall dead ended and there were no more tracks. Where had they gone? Could the person fly? In anger Rory turned to through the climbing pick at the cliff face when he noticed something... A seam? What kind of cliff had a seam?
Rory approched the seam and ran his hand down it... It was a door! Rory tried pushing it open, but when it wouldn't budge, he slammed his shoulder into it and falling inside. Subtlety was out of the question now, Rory was out for blood, and he was going to get it.

The sound of something ramming into the door just about scared the man out of his wits. Freya on the other hand didn't even stir from where she'd been placed, whatever drug she'd been given rather powerful. Unlike his comrade, the snitch wasn't a mutant, and that meant he was in big trouble. He'd almost finished the message at this point, but thoughts of being picked up for transportation were long past. The only thing on his mind was how horrified he was.
How was the X-man still alive?! He'd died, in the explosion, he was sure of it! He looked like a ghost, covered in blood from injuries that were not there. "Y-You're supposed to be dead!" Was it possible for mutants to have powers that kept them from dying? It seemed preposterous! And yet here was prove right in front of him...
Instantly he turned back to the monitor, pressing a specific button that must have been an alarm or distress signal, because the lights started to flash...

As soon as Rory was in the room he noticed Freya first. He was relieved to see she was still breathing... Then he saw the man. It was the snitch from the Inn, they had been set up! Rory was breathing heavily, but not from the descent, but from raw fury. Rory didn't bother to waste his breath commenting back on this whelp. He wanted to make him, bleed, to hurt, and Rory wasn't just "wanting" it, he was going to do it.
The man made the huge mistake of turning his back on Rory, not like it really mattered though. Rory closed the distance between them in seconds, and with an almighty swing, lunged the tip of the climbing pick for the man's thigh. The tip of the pick pierced into the back of his thigh and Rory jerked him to the ground, brutally ripping the pick out as he did so.
He noticed that the light was flashing on the moniter. He turned back to the snitch and pressed on his throat with his foot, "What's the light on the computer? What did you do to her? Answer fast, or I'll show you pain like you never felt before." There was a wild hate in Rory's eyes, and sudden darkness that overtook him. Rory had every intention of making this man hurt regardless, but he needed answers first.

The snitch cried out when he felt the searing pain of a climbing pick piecing him, and literally being dragged to the ground. How had this mutant been able to find them so quickly? Why was he alive? Then the mutant had turned his attention back to the snitch, a foot pressed so tightly against his throat it was agonizing.
"Alarm.." It was near impossible to speak with the foot crushing his throat, but he had to. That wild look about the mutant, it left no doubt in the Snitch's mind. He'd do exactly what he was threatening to do. "Others.... Coming to get... you." So there were more then those two mutants they'd fought up here, or there were others nearby at least. "Just.... sleeping drug... Not hurt..."

An alarm?! Great... They probably didn't have much time then. Though right now, if anyone else came to try and take Freya, he would rip them apart with his bare hands. Though Rory's expression was still amazingly sinister, he was relieved when the snitch said that it was only a drug and she wasn't hurt. Still, Rory needed to get Freya somewhere warmer and safer fast. Rory's own body was beginning to hurt from how cold it was, but he didn't even notice it. Rory pressed his foot harder against the snitches throat, before reaching down and picking the man up by his collar.
Rory grabbed the man's head and slammed it against the moniter, though not hard enough to break it. Continued to press it against the computer he spoke, "Turn it off... Or we'll have a big problem." Rory said darkly, it took every ounce of his will power not to gut the man right there.

The snitch was beyond terrified, this mutant was absolutely mad! Why was the woman so important to him? It wasn't hard to guess, love did drive people to do the most radical things after all.
It felt like he was going to be choked to death by the pressure on his throat, but before he knew it he was being puled back to his feet, only to have his head smashed against the monitor. It killed, and what made it worse was he couldn't do a single thing about it. This mutant was a lot stronger then normal, making it impossible for the snitch to do anything in defense. He was completely at the man's mercy.
And so, he was forced to do as ordered, the alarm soon stopped. "There... Done as you told..." He was still trying to catch his lost breath from when he had been choking. "Promise to leave you both alone... Won't tell... Just let me go." it's wasn't quite begging, but it was about as close as you could get when you happened to have someone crushing you against a computer monitor.

Rory watched what the man did carefully, he knew his way around computer as well. Though he was no savant at it, he could tell what the man was doing. Soon the light stopped flashing and Rory couldn't stop himself from looking at Freya. Though she looked peaceful, it pained him to see her in such a way. Then the pain led to anger, which led to hate, and would soon lead to the snitch's suffering.
He completely ignored what the man said, as if he would trust him anyways. Rory pulled the man's head back, then slammed it through the computer screen. Pulling him back again and tossing him to the floor. Once more he lifted up the climbing pick, and with precision pierced it through the knee of the leg he hadn't injured already; once again brutally ripping it out. He grabbed the man by his collar again and picked him back up to his feet, walking over and pressing him against the wall beside Freya, and lifting the man so that his feet no longer touched the ground. "Cain... Tell me everything you know about him." There was no bargaining in his voice, it was direct, and sinister. The snitch probably knew what would happen if he refused by now.

All attempts to persuade the mutant to let the snitch go had failed, and even led to more physical pain. His head being slammed into the monitor again, the climbing pick ripping into his uninjured leg. Again, he cried out in agony. This man, this was going beyond torture for information. Taking it personally, which was understandable, the snitch had kidnapped his girlfriend after all.
"Don't know... Anything about Cain...." His squirming was weak, as if terrified to anger Rory anymore then he already was. "Only... draw in mutants.... That are a threat...." This man was nothing more then a grunt, with no idea what the master plan was, or even met the man he served.

Rory's hatred for this man was growing by the second. He could feeli himself lapsing into the way he was back during his time in the Agency. Though he didn't care deserved to suffer not only for the fact that he dare lay a finger on Freya, but for what he's done to others as well. The slight squirming only made Rory more angry by the man's blatant display of weakness. "Don't ye dare lie to me whelp." Rory threw the man face down to ground with force.
"You were going to send Freya somewhere... Where?!" He half yelled, "Where do they take them, where does Cain operate out of?" He swung the climbing pick again, piercing it into the man's should, then flipping him onto his back to face Rory. He slammed a foot down into the man's stomach and continued pressing in, after a certain point, so much pressure on the stomach could cause extreme pain; Rory was taking the man there. "Answer fast."

Things had long since gotten out of control, everywhere the snitch was struck was excruciating, the man attacking him as if the devil himself. Why wouldn't he just kill him?! Obviously he wanted to make him suffer for taking Freya... But he was also forcing needed information out of him. Getting all the answers he would need. "It's an island..." He cried out from the pressure on his stomach. "Off the coast of Maine..."
Sometimes, no matter how heavily drugged you were, certain things could pull you back to the surface, like, say, the sound of a man being tortured. From where Freya had been propped up against the wall, she let out a soft, almost inaudible groan. Her eyes flickered a little, as if trying to wake up but having to fight to open her eyes...

Rory was starting to enjoy this now, all the old memories of having to do this for the agency were coming back to him. He was starting to remember other ways of making this man hurt, without ever killing him. More importantly he was going to leave this man as a warning to others who would no doubt come by this cave eventually and Rory was sure he probably sent out a message saying he caught an Elensar. So if others came by, they would find him, and hopefully realize that if you touch Freya.... Bad things will happen.
The slight stirring of Freya behind him was barely noticed, Rory was far to busy making the snitch hurt. Rory took his foot off the mans stomach, and swung the climbing into the snitchs other shoulder that he hadn't wounded yet, this time leaving it there as he knelt down and grabbed the mans throat, "What else aren't you telling me?!" He asked angrily, twisting the pick in the man's shoulder.
