*Shakaku's mischievous smile just returned as she decided to stare him down. She was different. She was fun.*
Of cores you wouldn't see how this is fun. Because your too stingy and uptight.
*Shakaku then grabbed a single strand of her hair and heated it up. It quickly disappeared.*

Danielle didn't even bother responding. She might be 'stingy and uptight', like he said, but better that then sadistic. Which he was. Very sadistic. It almost made her sick. When she noticed how close he was though, she almost froze. Why the hell was he so close?! When he reached out and grabbed a strand of her hair, she froze. Just his touching her alone made her anger start to boil. Then... He just had to go and burn the strand. That really pushed her over the edge.
"Don't. Touch. Me." Her eyes were narrowed into slits as she reached up and whacked his hand away from her, maybe a little harder then she should have. But still, she didn't want his disgusting hands touching her!

*Of cores Shakaku was mad about his hand being smacked. But he had done it once again. He had pushed a button to make her angry with him. He smiled as he focused on another strand of hair that had fallen in her face, hoping she would notice it, the strand got hot and then it wasn't there anymore. It was so much more fun than burning all her hair. And it seemed to make her mad by him doing it, more than threatening it.*
I don't have to touch you.

Danielle's anger was more then boiling now. She as so angry it was almost blinding her. How dare he?! He gaze was so intent on him it was almost a little creepy, the mix between her intense gaze and pale skin... She really didn't care any more. He wanted to play with fire? Well he'd learn soon enough that you didn't mess with her like this. She'd only put up with it for so long.
At first, the Asian boy would probably feel a little strange, the sensation lasting for only a split second, before the tingling turned into searing pain. And the pain was coming from both his arms. It'd feel like his very bones were stretching, separating from each other slowly... very very slowly. "I told you to leave me alone..." Her voice sounded a little strained, but the pain in his arms was obviously from her. He'd kept pushing her, and pushing her, that she really couldn't stop herself down. Even if she had to share the pain, she wanted him to pay. Her arms had unfolded, hanging limply at her sides... as if affected in the same way his were....

*As the pain came Shakaku took a few steps back. He could tell that she was doing it and that she was hurting herself in the proses. This was the act that gave Shakaku the most respect for the mouse.*
Alright, Nezumi. I get it. I crossed the line.
*He had now figured how far he could go. Now he knew and he would remember it.*

His speaking seemed to snap her out of her rage. She let his bones return to normal, which was still painful, but it only lasted half a second before the pain was gone, only the aftershock still there. She still glared, though neither of her arms felt like responding just yet. Instead, she just turned around, moving to leave. "Just... Go away."
The bully probably didn't realize what exact she'd done, just that the pain had been centered on his arms, and what it had felt like. Hopefully he wouldn't realize what it was that had happened exactly. She was supposed to be keeping a low profile after all! She didn't want the other students knowing what she could do.... If they did.... People would pick fights with her, or try and make her get involved with the war.
Danielle took several steps away, her arms finally responding enough that they started to tremble a little. She hated using her power. She had to suffer just as much as the person she was hurting, but their pain faded faster...

*Shakaku watched her for only a little bit. He had to get back to Furai anyway.*
You win this one Nezumi, plus Furai is waiting for me to return.
*He then started to walk back towards the mansion, he felt respect for her enough not to fight with her right now. Also his arms were killing him. He wanted to get back into his room before he started to show any form of pain, and being pulled into Hazel's office for something so stupid.*

Thank goodness he didn't stay any longer. He hadn't given into the pain like most would, but he was probably just keeping face. Bullies didn't show signs of weakness. Or they tried not to. Either way, it was a good thing he was leaving now for both of them.
She was a little curious though, wondering what exact he was calling her now. She didn't speak any Japanese, and had no idea what 'Nezumi' even meant! Was it just another rude nickname? Or did it mean something else? Should she even bother looking it up? Tough decision...
Either way, he was leaving her alone... But who knew how long. She just left, not saying anything else, holding back her own tears as she he went the opposite direction. Curse it all... Being a girl really sucked sometimes.

((Once again!)) ________________________________________________________________________
*Shakaku was laying on the grass. This place just happened to be quiet and he was emanating enough heat that Furai, once again, could run around. She would get all her energy out, before the winter came. He just layed on the grass, he was relaxed. He wondered if he would see Nezumi again. He felt that because the name was japanese he had a good deal of respect for her, even if her nickname was still mouse. But now that he thought of it, she kind of reminded him of a cat. Relaxed, trying to ignore everything, but once you got it really angry it would lash out at you.*

Danielle had finally given into her curiosity and looked up what 'Nezumi' meant. Mouse. Great, he was still calling her a freaking mouse! It was annoying. Everything about the guy was annoying. At the same time though, at least he stopped after pushing her to far. That was always good. She didn't want things to go to far... Not to mention he was growing a strange interest in her. Bad idea. If that kept up he just might stop tormenting her and try to befriend her, as impossible as that sounded.
She'd been avoiding the stables, the spot he always seemed to find her. Today though.... She'd realized that she'd lost something. Not just anything though.... Her book. The book her mother used to always read to her when she was little.
No way did she want to go back there! But she couldn't leave her book there! If someone found it.... She'd never see it again! There was only one place it could be, somewhere around the Stables. That was still a lot of ground to cover but she didn't care. She had to find it. As she searched, still to far away to see the Asian boy or him to see her, she saw no sign of it. Little did she know that the book happened to be at the base of the tree very close to where the bully lay...

*Shakaku say half asleep until he noticed that Furai was wondering far from him. He sat up to look for her when he saw her examining a strange old thing. Shakaku stood up and walked over, looking at the item. It looked like that old raggedy book that Nezumi felt was so important, he could have swarm that she had left with it though. Leaving the book alone Shakaku layed back down, closer to the tree, so he could keep an eye of the adventurous little creature he called Furai.*

Danielle really would have had a heart attack if she knew he was the one that found her book. IT was a good thing he didn't mess with it though, she didn't want him touching something that precious to her. As she searched, she grew closer and closer to where the bully lay, until she finally caught sight of him.
She froze. Not in fear, more of a nervousness. If he saw her would he start it all over again? What if he'd found the book? He'd burn it! If he had burned it..... She dared not even think about what she might do to him. Right then though, she spotted two other things. Something scurrying around close to the Asian boy, some sort of small animal. And- Her book!
It was only a few feet away from him.... How was she supposed to get it with out him seeing her?!

*Shakaku's eyes were closed so he didn't notice Nezume near. But Furai, as she scurried part way up the tree sighted the girl, she didn't think much of it, as she leaped off the tree and glided down to land on her masters chest. She then ran around a but more, then got back up on his chest. After circling three or four times she lay down, as comfortable as ever. Shakaku opened one eye to look down at the small rodent and give a small smile. She was the only one who could make him smile like that.*

Danielle wasn't that close, just close enough to recognize that the small creature that was running around like crazy was a small rodent, some sort of squirrel she'd guess with it's tree climbing and jumping. But why was the Asian boy so comfortable with it climbing all over him? Was it some sort of pet? Odd sort of pet... But he was a rich kid after all. He had probably wanted something unusual and his parents had given him it. But wait, weren't squirrels going into hibernation soon? So why was this one running about?
She didn't think that much about it, her attention on how to get the book back with out him noticing. If he did see her it just might spell trouble, since she'd hurt him(and herself, by default) the last time they'd met. Then.... Did he just smile?
That took her by surprise. She didn't even think it was possible for him to smile! But what was she supposed to do? Finally.... She just decided to creep around, trying to stay out of sight as she circled around to the side her book was on, then carefully started to sneak up to her book, reaching out to silently snatch it... Hoping and praying he didn't open his eyes and look.

*Unfortunately, for her, Shakaku did peep his eyes open when she wasn't looking at him.*
Nezumi I know your there.
*He would get up but Furai was so comfortable. She would probably notice that the area around him was warmer than everywhere else. This was how Furai could be so active.*
