Christy smiled at him then, apologetically this time. "Sorry," she said again. "I ramble... and the more you get to know me, the more you'll have to interrupt me because of it."
It was true. Most of her friends would cut her off randomly in the middle of a sentence because they had no idea what she was talking about. That was the only thing she did when her emotions changed. When she was angry, she stuttered like crazy and could barely get through a sentence. When she was sad or scared her throat couldn't get a sound out so she'd just sit in silence. And when she gets energetic, obviously, she rambled.

*Chez smiled at Christy, as if to say that it was fine. He wondered how many other people like her there was in the world. Or even in this building. He didn't think there could possibly be more than three or four. This was because Chez has learned that people will do anything, find any reason, to attack you. Weather it was physically, mentally, or spiritually. He had been hit pretty hard in the first two categories.*
To be honest, the only kind of TV I've watched is in store windows.
*That stayed on his mind, and he actually didn't really care much for it.*

"Well, you'll probably change your mind about television when you get attached to the characters on cheesy tv shows," she admitted, almost grimly. She'd found herself obsessed with SpongeBob to the point where she knocked a student off the sofa and stole the remote because a new episode was playing. She missed the first three minutes. At the time, that was a huge deal.
She shook her head slightly, remembering her obsession and it still embarassed her to think of that to this day. But that was many years ago now.

*Chez shrugged, he wasn't entirely sure if that would happen. Plus he was sure he could find more productive things to do anyway. To tell the truth Chez was nervous about being at a "school/" The reason being, he wasn't book smart, in a sense.*
We'll see how it goes, that usually is how I work.
*He was never good at planning his day, because of the unknown elements all around him. It if spontaneously started to snow, Chez would change what he was doing.*

Christy nodded, "I think that's how I work, too."
She knew that his mind was probably buzzing with all this. The chocolate and crackers and now all these activities she was telling him about. She hoped she wasn't overwhelming him. And she never expected him to have any idea what he was going to do. He was still healing, and he might despise the mansion with all his heart after a few days here, although she really hoped that he stayed.

*Chez wasn't that hungry anymore. He had a small stomach and was used to having the equivalent of one meal thought out one day.*
Pluse I have lots of my time in the infermery. Hazel and Hank want to have lots check ups, to make sure I'm doing good.
*He might be scolded for using his powers, multiple times today. There was lots that she was showing and telling him. He wasn't sure if he would be able to build off of it, just yet.*

Christy nodded then. "Oh yeah. Many, many forced checkups." She'd been in the infirmary a few times herself, usually for stupid things. Nothing like Chez, of course, just simply things like a broken leg or something. But Hazel and Hank definitely drag you into checkups for a long time, even after you're fully healed.
"And I know I'm spitting out a lot of information at you," she gnawed her lip slightly. With every newcomer friend she made, she always made their head spin in the first few hours of their meeting each other. She explained fast and in her own way, which usually wasn't very easily understood by an outsider. "So don't worry about having to remember it all. You'll get it."

*Chez nodded, most of the things anyway were either hard , or almost impossible to see himself doing. But he ensured himself that he would find something to do, even if it was just waisting time doing nothing. He was sure that would come fairly easily to him.*
I'm sure I will, eventualy.

(Come on in!)
Christy nodded then. She'd felt the same way when she came to the mansion for the first time. It was a long time ago now, but she'd been scared to death. She didn't know where anything was or who any of the students and teachers were. It took her forever to remember all their names. But now, she'd knew them all by heart. And she loved helping newbies out so they wouldn't feel as lost as she had.
She smiled brightly at him. "You will eventually. And you've got me to help you."

Max walked into the room, he looked at the two people already inside. "Hey, you alright?" He wandered if he was interrupting anything inside this room. He wandered whether to turn and walk away but decided it was ok and that they would be ok with him being there and maybe even include him.

Christy looked curiously at the boy who walked in the room. "We're fine," she replied. That was a strange way to start a conversation. Sure, Chez didn't look like he was in perfect shape, but he looked better than he had before she had confronted him earlier.
"You're Max, right?" Since she was actually an X-man now, she'd been working hard on trying to memorize who everyone was. There were lots of students so that made it difficult. But she had a feeling their new visitor was Maximillian Cole. That name wasn't too hard to remember. "I'm Christy."

*Chez looked at the kid. He was sure he looked rather emo, as what he had heard from some other groups who have actually attacked him in the past. This kid seemed strange, but he looked past that. Chez hoped that this kid was as nice as Christy had been. When Christy introduced her self Chez nodded.*
I'm Chez.
*He didn't go here and obviously looked too thin, he wasn't sued to being in such a nice place, or even having a roof above his head.*

Max nodded and smiled. "Hi." He has seen both the people infront of me around the corridors before but never actually talked to them. He wandered what they were talking about, he looked at Chez but then looked away quickly and looked back at Christy.

This kid was strange. But a good strange. Technically, everyone in the place was a bit weird. And clearly, Chez wasn't used to friendly people being around. His eyes seemed to dart, from Chez to Christy really fast. She cocked a eyebrow slightly. "Would you like something to eat?" she asked Max.
Since Chez was done with the snacks, there was still more than half of the chips and chocolate left. Not including all the healthier stuff that could be found around the kitchen. Christy wasn't hungry, anyway, and why else would Max come to the kitchen? He probably came in here for food, or just to see who was in here.
