*The silence, at first felt awkward, he felt like he should say something. But after a wile of just listening to the familiar sounds he got comfortable. HE had been in this city for a few months and he felt comfortable walking around listening to the sounds now.*
*After walking a wile Chez could see the mansion, it seemed peiceful. Chez thought of how anyone could sleep when it was so quiet. He was so used to lots of sound, but also he was sure that in the residential area that he had slept in it got quiet after a certain time.*

Christy and Chez reached the gate and she made the tunnel underneath the gate again with another flick of her wrist. "Well, here we are."
She only spoke because she felt like she needed to say something. Christy wasn't all that good at coming up with random things to say in silences, but she tried. Once they were back inside the mansion, she thought a moment. "So what do you want to do now?"

*Once in to the grounds Chez looked around, a few students had spotted it but thought little to nothing of it. His attention was taken to Christy when she spoke.*
Not sure, I'm to used to spending my time looking for food and a new place to stay.
*At this moment his stoumack grumbled again. This time he brought an arm to cover it. That time it had hurt, it had been a wile since he ate. He didn't want to seem rood asking for food. He didn't wan to depend on the people at this mansion too much.*

Christy couldn't help but smile as he held his stomach. "I guess that means it's snack time." She headed toward the front door. "C'mon, follow me."
And she led him toward the kitchen. She didn't know if Chez was picky or not, but she was sure he could find something he liked. They had crackers, fruit, vegetables, nuts, meat, and her personal favorite, macaroni. Once they reached it, she opened the door and motioned for him to go first. "Just take whatever you like."

*Chez followed Christy, but when it came to the kitchen he cautiously entered. He never took from peoples places. He was kind of shocked when she said that he could take anything.*
I'm not sure what to do. I normally just take unwanted food.
*He thought of all the places he had taken food, he probably had the best amune system because of how he had lived.*

"So you've never really eaten anything that other people didn't want? That's terrible," Christy suddenly opened up a few cabinets above the sink and counter. If he'd only eaten unwanted things, that probably meant gross and/or healthy things that normal people thought tasted bad. Chez probably never ate chocolate or sweets very often. So that would be his lunch today, she decided.
She pulled down a few chocolate bars and a few different kind of crackers and chips. She set them on the table and pointed. "Taste the delisciousness of snacks."

*Chez cocked an eyebrow. He must have said something that set a fire in Christy. She seemed determined to have him try these things, so he grabbed a cracker and tried it. It was pretty good. He hadn't eaten anything like this. It was flavorful, and had a fresh like taste.*
It's good
*He actually really did like it, he took a few more of the same crackers and ate them as well. He wondered what else she had layed out in front of him, and would he like it as much as he liked this? He broke off a piece of the the chocolate bar. He examined it, it was brown, and smelt strange. Then he placed it in his mouth. It started to melt in his mouth. It was so good.*

Christy just smiled in satisfaction as he tried the crackers. "Of course you do. They are kind of like the universal cracker. I don't know anyone who doens't like them," she admitted. And then she leaned forward a little and examined his expression change as he tasted the chocolate. Clearly he'd never had it before. And she could tell the exact moment it melted in his mouth. His eyes said it all.
She smiled then, brighter this time if that were possible. "It's fantastic, isn't it?"

*Chez nodded. It was such a good thing. Everything he tried was delicious. He was surprised that he could have these things.*
It's all so good.
*Chez had been very deprived his entire life. Taking only what he could trying to get what he needed.*

Christina nodded, smiling. But behind the smile was more sympathy. She didn't know what she'd do if she didn't taste chocolate until she was in her late teens. It was terrible that some people, mutants escpecially, didn't have a home or even a place to sleep, or decent food to eat that wasn't disgusting, old, and or unwanted. It was horrible...
"I'm glad you like it. Although it's not all that good for your body, it does taste amazing. But not all healthy foods taste gross... just most of them," she admitted, trying to push her sympathy aside like before. It was working for the moment.

*Chez listened. He then nodded.*
Neither is living on the streets, eating only when you can find food.
*His body was obviously not the most healthy one in the school. But he took another piece of chocolate and plopped it in his mouth.*

Chez wasn't make it any easier for Christina to set aside her sympathy. "Yeah..." she looked down then. But then she thought of something that might make him decide to stay. "You know, you wouldn't have to live like that anymore if you stayed here. You could survive off chocolate bars and doritos if you wanted to."
She leaned against the counter behind her then as she looked over him. He looked homeless, actually. Dispite the fact he'd been beaten not long ago, he still looked too thin. Maybe some fat from the chocolate would be good for him. She sighed, knowing that he thought he couldn't fit in here. She never felt like part of the X-men even when she was just a student here, and she sort of still didn't.
"I don't really think I fit here, either," she admitted. "I actually live in the forest out back," she nodded in the direction of the forest nearby the school. "I mean, I'm part of the staff here, technically. But this has never actually felt... like home to me... and I don't really know how else to explain it."

*Chez thought about it. He did feel a little more comfortable here. It would be nice not to worry about everything. When Christy told him that she didn't feel like she belonged he felt a little bad for her. It might be a good idea to stay. He wouldn't have to worry about food, and a place to sleep, but what would he do with his time then? He hadn't ever really had free time so he wasn't sure how to deal with it. He thought of the best answer he could give her.*
I guess I could try it out for a little bit.

Christy smiled then. "Good. And you won't have to worry about your free time. We have plenty of it, but there's tons and tons to do here," she explained. "We've got a nice big pool out back, that's always refreshing. And then there's the big TV in the living room, the library if you reading any. Um, the training room of course, to practice your powers. Mostly that's for the X-men in training and stuff, but you're welcome to use it after class is over."
She stopped herself then. "Are you catching any of this or am I just rambling?" she couldn't help but laugh once at this. She can never stop herself from rambling like that when she gets on a subject like this, "Sorry."

*Chez didn't want to be rude, but most the things she said, did fly over his head. Half the stuff he couldn't do anyway.*
Just a little.
*He smiled at Christy. She was so nice, and wanted so hard for him to feel at home.*
