Theo was excited as he got to the circus entrance. He was completely full of energy and was having issues keeping his 'little girls' from coming out and doing their own thing. He had heard from one of his fathers friends about it being in town after he had gotten his violin from them and had rushed off with it. He adored circuses. All the colors, the flair, the amazing acts, and the sheer creativity of it all being blend into interconnected acts. It was enough to put him in an almost overwhelm artistic mood that he only got when someone thing great was going on, or at least what he considered great. Theo paid for his ticket and walked into the area before the big tent. The show wasn't going to start for another hour, and he was bouncing up and down waiting to see what kind of creativity he was going to see. He had been up to his neck with school and being his father's errand boy in America. He finally was getting to do something he wanted to do and he was going to make the most of it. Theo wandered around looking at the people entertaining the guests before the show. He saw people in all kinds of colors doing everything from juggling to knife throwing, fire breathing to magic, people who had an oddity to exotic creatures. He was loving it and it was getting hard for him to control himself. He was getting close to losing himself to his artistic nature and he knew it. He was having some trouble controlling himself as he went along. Theo had been going from performance to performance for almost 20 minutes before he finally came to an area that lacked both people and performers. He needed to get control of himself and calm down after all the wonder around him. He hadn't been stopped for more then a few seconds before he he realized that the place lacked something, something artistic that it really needed. The place lacked music. The realization that they were lacking music was the last thing to push Theo over the edge into the abyss that is his artistic side. He pulled his violin out of it's case and got it into position. He began to toy with it as he got it's sound into his mind. As he did so, a few people noticed him and stopped to watch. After getting the sound into his mind, Theo began to play. Slowly and softly he started. He quickly began to pick up the pace and as he did so, some of his bees began to crawl out of their home and began to fly around him. The people watching seemed startled by the bees at first, but quickly calmed themselves down thinking it was part of his 'act'. As Theo finally picked up the song into it's full swing, the bees suddenly began to fly around him as if they were dancing to the song and the sounds of their wing beats mixed with the sound of his playing to begin to make it sound like more then just he was playing the song. Theo and his bees kept this up, not noticing the ever growing crowd. Theo kept playing and his bees kept dancing until the end of the song, at which point the bees flew back to Theo, landed on him and crawled back under his clothes to their home. Theo yelled out after having finished. " Wunderbar, ich liebe diesen Ort!" The people didn't know what he had said, but after a moment of silence, they suddenly began to clap and throw some money into his empty violin case. Theo finally noticed the people at this point and almost as if he had planed this out before hand, began to bow and thank the people with a big smile on his face. *The troupe was almost done with set up. Tickets would be taken momentarily. People were starting to get restless, it was their fault for coming before we were ready. To help the guests stay entertained a little while longer, certain members of the troupe were sent out to walk around and entertain them. Unfortunately, that meant that because she had finished getting the animals ready for the first show, Chantel had to go out and entertain. But she knew what would grab audiences attention and not have to talk to many people.*
Dressed in some flashy circus cloths she took out Arcamedis from his tank. Arcamedis was a five year old anaconda that the troupe has had since they he hatched. Putting the heaviest part of the snake around her neck, Chantel let Arcamedis slither around her, but she kept his head near her right hand, just in case. As she walked out People were instantly enchanted by the eighteen foot long snake, wrapping around this five foot four and half tall girl.*
Don't worry he's very well trained *Chantel spoke with a heavy french accent to the people as they got closer. She let some children pet Arcamedis on the head. Then moving on, to allowing others to see the beautiful snake.*
*As she walked around Arcamedis had wrapped, from her neck to around her waist and down one of her legs. She walked as normal as she could and was attracted to music playing. She didn't recognize the sound of the violin and decided to investigate. To see a crowd around a boy who WASN'T a performer made Chantel a little angry. With her piercing green eyes she glared at the boy, now he was getting money. Money that should be going to the Fury family!*
*Chantel looked over to a younger member of the troupe and called him over. In French she told him to go and alert someone about this. She then walked over to the boy, still glaring. She placed her hands on her his, in a manner that Lainey would.* Pardon me, but what do you think you are doing? *She had a thick French accent, but it was understandable.*

Theo noticed that some of the circus people were looking at him with an angry eyes. He didn't mean to get so much attention, he just couldn't stop himself from playing. A short girl with a snake walked up to him and started saying things to him in a heavy french accent, which luckily he had been spending enough time in France to understand her very well. He noticed that some of the crowd was wondering why some of the other entertainers were so mad at him. He thought about what he should do for a moment before he got an idea. He turned to the girl who had walked up to him and picked up his violin case so that none of the money fell out of it and smiled at her.
" Oh dear sister, why the angry look? Did I do so badly? Come, come, why don't we go talk about it back at the tent." Theo said as he made his accent as close to French as he could. " Quickly now!"
Theo grabbed her left arm, which luckily didn't have a snake on it, and began to drag her towards the back side of the tent. That was were the circus performers always lived from what he could remember, so it was the best idea he could come up with. The crowd seemed to think that they knew each other and quickly and quietly went back to looking at what the circus people were doing.
Once Theo had gotten far enough away from the crowd so that none of them could over hear the two of them, he let go of the girl's arm and turned around to face her. He set his violin case on the ground and gave her an apologetic smile.
" I'm sorry about that. I just couldn't control myself. I guess you could say I was possessed by my own creativity." Theo said to her in a friendly, apologetic voice. " I'm more then willing to hand over everything to you. I just loved how the circus was going so much."

*Chantel was about to protest when the boy took her arm and started to drag her away. She went, but not without a fight. When he let go she first calmed down her snake. Then he gave her that look that said it all. It didn't change a thing. Chantel glared at him in a way that it would feel like her eyes could burn a hole though his head, if she had that power. Then with out a second thought she slapped the stranger. This was not a joke. This was her life and a job, not a place for people to steal audiences.*
*As he mentioned the money she looked down at it, making a movement twards them with her left hand they seemed to float up into thin air and neatly stack up. She then grabbed the pile and put the money in her pocket.* Your read my mind. Look your are a guest, so start acting like one... *Arcamedis slithered so that he was closer to the boy and dislocated his jaw, wide enough to fit a large rabbit into. Showing off his fangs he hissed at the boy, obviously feeling Chantel's anger towards him.* Calmer Archimedis il n'est pas notre problème plus. *Chantel spoke to her snake in French, then she turned and started to leave, half way turning around again with a half smile that looked more devious than nice.* It was a good song, but I could do better.

Theo didn't know what to think when the girl suddenly slapped him. He knew she would be mad at him, but he at least was making amends. The snake had opened it's mouth at him, but he didn't pay it much attention. He was more focused on keeping his girls from doing something he didn't want them to do after she slapped him. They never responded well to someone hurting him in any way. He watched as she started to walk away but then turned back and had that smirk on her face. What she said got his attention right away. He smirked back at her.
" Oh? I would love to see you try Shorty." Theo said to her in a friendly way. " Where do you want to do this at little miss?"
Theo was getting all excited again, but in more then just an artistic way. This girl had just challenged him to a musical duel after all. He wasn't sure what she would play, but he was definitely looking forward to seeing what she could do. His little girls had managed to calm themselves down as well, which was a very good sign for that girl.

*Chantel turned all the way around, ready. She had a natural talent for anything music. But one of her best was the fiddle. Unfortunately she wasn't good at performing. She also assumed that he had a ticket for the next show. Tickets would be taken shortly. But not short enough that they couldn't play a little.* Either now, or you wait for me to get my violin. *She couldn't leave the anaconda, because he hadn't been out for a while, and he was enjoying the fresh air. Luckily she was used to playing with animals around her. It was part of the show she would do for her parents when she was a kid.*
*Come to thin about it, he called her short...like that was a bad thing. She was proud of her height. Even thought she wished that Izzy was a little bit shorter, and she was a few inches taller sometimes.* We will have to do this fast if you want to make your show. *Chantel wasn't one for performing in front of others, but he was asking for it, and she was excited to show him what she had. Especially since she hadn't played in quite a while.*

Theo noticed how the girl seemed as excited as he was to play some music. He however had completely forgotten about the show until she mentioned it and was torn now. He wanted to just sit down and play with this girl for as long as he could but he also wanted to see the show. She mentioned him waiting for her to get her violin, but he didn't want to waste the precious time that they had before. He held his violin out for her with a smile.
" You can use mine. Just take some time to known her sound, and she will sing a wonderful song for you. I promise you." Theo said to her with his mixed German and Icelandic accent making him sound very foreign. " Now, show me what you can do Shorty!"
Theo waited for her to take the violin. He was so focused on what she would play, that he didn't notice how his little girls were coming out from under his shirt and crawling onto the violin. They were in a bad mood. Another female was trying to take their father's precious sound maker from them and they didn't seem to want to have that. They just kept crawling around it and buzzing angrily. Theo didn't seem to notice them however.

*Chantel noticed the bees, obviously thinking that they were part of this foreign boy's power. With her own power she created a some what barrier around her, tangible strings surrounding her. Not that he would see them but the bees wouldn't be able to get hear her. She didn't fear them, she lived in a tent most of the time. But she was just being a little cautious.* *Taking the violin Chantel ran the bow and pulled it across all the strings, just to get a feel for how it sounded. Well tuned, and obviously well taken care of. She could play this beauty well. Chantel instantly got in what would seem like a dancing position and started to play a very fast tune. It was her favorite from when she was getting lessons. She loved it so much people couldn't get her to stop playing it, unless they hid all violins and fiddles from her reach.* *As the song went on, Chantel danced to the tune. The snake swearing and almost dancing with her. Once the song was over she finished with raising the hand holding the bow high in the air and smiling a big over dramatic, performers smile at him, happy to have performed with a violin again.* OOC:: this is the song that she is playing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xuzww2xLM_0 (except the fact that there is no beat and its not an electric violin)

Theo was glad when she took the violin, and finally noticed what his girls were doing. He made sure that they wouldn't attack the girl at least since they were being so stubborn and refused to get off the violin. He watched as the girl took on a dancing pose and then began to play. He instantly knew the song she was playing. It was " The Flight of the Bumblebee" and his little girls didn't seem to like the way she moved as she played it. He rather enjoyed it and clapped for her when she finished.
" Wunderbar!" Theo said to her in a cheerful voice. "Einfach wunderbar. You're good at playing. I'm glad I had the chance to listen. Now the real question Shorty, is can you sing as well as play?"
Theo wasn't sure what she would say, but he wanted to see just how much this girl could do musically. He got his girls to leave the violin after all the movement they went through and they landed on him and began to swarm around his body. They still had the mentality that the girl was the enemy however and were buzzing and 'dancing' around on him as if they were on their hive, which they were in a way.

Lainey was scamming some poor, stupid, guests when she heard music in the wind. She tilted her head ever so slightly, listening intently. She recognized the song instantly, and knew who was playing. Chantel. If you put an instrument in her hand, that was the song she would play. Chasing off her current victims, she ran, following the music. What was Chantel doing anyway? Wasn't she showing off some of the animals today?
She found her cousin farther from the crowds then first expected. And she was alone. With a boy.
Sure, Lainey was guilty of spending to much alone time with young male guests from time to time.... But Chantel? Instantly Lainey was on the defensive, like a mother bear finding someone poking at her cubs. Stalking up quickly she had her arms draped over a wooden rod, it's purpose.... Well, neither of them would know, but it made the tall, lanky girl look a little intimidating, because she had a look about her that said she knew how to use it, if needed.
"Ye donnae sing and play at the same time, boyo. Only an amadán would think otherwise." In the mean spirit of things, she'd basically called him an idiot in Irish Gaelic. But it was true. You're chin was needed to support and hold up the instrument. Have your hand do it, and you couldn't play properly.

*Chantel gave a little bow when he clapped. She had some other things she wanted to play, but she handed the instrument back to it's rightful owner. Then she got a bad feeling. She was only younger then Lainey by a couple of minutes but Lainey was protective. Actually come to think about it lots of the family were protective. Chantel would admit, she was a little inocent, but she was seven teen. It was about time that she was able to like boys.*
*Then her feeling rang true as she herd Lainey's voice from behind her. She turned around and looked at her taller cousin, seeing the obvious weapon in her hands.* Hello Izzy, I was just...challenged. This boy, didn't think that I could play better than him. *Chantel knew that wouldn't hold off Lainey for long. Chantel wasn't even sure it would hold her off at all.* Look he was playing and stealing our costumers, so I had to step in. I got all the money that they had given him, and then I had to say that I was better. *It was a matter of troupe pride. This was their truf and Chantel couldn't just stand by while someone stole their costumers.*

Theo was waiting to see what the girl would do when she handed him back his violin. He was fine with that since it seemed to calm his girls down. He was thinking about seeing if the girl would like him to play her something when a taller girl with a stave came up to them. The first thing she did was insult him, even if he didn't know the word he understood the tone of voice, which didn't settle well with his little girls. He focused on calming them back down as Shorty started coming up with excuses, well they were true though. He wasn't sure why, but she seemed to be very flustered as she talked with the other girl. He listened for a moment before he put his violin back into it's case and picked it up. He just smiled at the tall girl.
" Well you caught me I guess. Here I was hoping Shorty would try to sing and play at the same time." Theo said to Lainey before turning his attention back to Chantel. " Sorry again about before. I can't help myself sometimes and things like that happen. It was great to here you play. It was wunderbar. I hope we can play together some time, and hopefully I will get a chance to hear you sing."
Theo began to head back to the open grounds before the tent so he could get in line for the performance that had to be happening soon. He walked a little ways before he suddenly stopped and looked back with a smile on his face.
" My name is Theo Eishaus by the way. It truly was a pleasure to meet you Shorty!" Theo said in a cheerful voice. " I hope we can meet again after the show."
Theo turned back around after he had finished speaking and continued on his way. He really did hope that he could meet up with the shorter girl again.

”Uh huh…” Chantel’s feeble attempts to defend the boy were a little weak, to be honest. Sure, a random guy came up and randomly challenged the girl wearing a snake to a fiddle war. Unlikely. She had her cousin fixed with a ‘Good lie, come up with another’ sort of look, patiently waiting for the next excuse to leave Chantel’s mouths. This one was obviously the truth. In response, both her eyebrows raised. ”What sort o’ customer brings an instrument to a circus? Ah bet he was askin’ fer trouble from the start.”
Her gaze flickered to the boy for a moment. Of course she recognized his accent, and use of common German words. So, lowering her voice a little and switching to Irish Gaelic once more, spoke again. ”German’s are always asking for trouble.”
Oh, most Irish travelers had a serious grudge against Germans. Just like Jews. In World War 2, Jews weren’t the only people being rounded up into Concentration camps, after all. They’d gone after Gypsies as well. And the Fury’s had quite a few family members that were killed in Concentration camps. Basically, it was hard to forget wounds that deep. And Lainey, who, when she had a hatred for a single person was infamous for hating t heir whole nationality… Well, basically she still hated Germans as a whole.
”Ye better stop callin’ her shorty. Or ah might have to cut ye down to size, see who the shorty is then.” … And that was a serious threat. Well, at least Lainey was acting like her usual self. Sadly, people might worry if she wasn’t so insulting…
She didn’t say anything else as he left, just watched him. Very, VERY intently. And, when he was finally gone, she glanced at Chantel, a scolding look on her face. ”Ye know he was flirtin’ with ye, right? Nasty German. Who does he think he is?” She let out a string of Gaelic curses. They sounded beautiful in the Gaelic language… But if you understood the language, they were about the worst thing you could say about a person.

*Chantel nodded when he apologised for his actions. She had forgiven him...now that she took the money and showed him up. But Lainey would be less forgiving, given his accent. Lainey wasn’t the forgiving sort. She was known for insults, pranks, and payback. Those she did best.* Sorry but that performance was a once in a lifetime opertunity. *It was. Chantel didn’t perform infront of strangers. This one was lucky that she even did.*
*A giggle came from Chantel as Lainey through out a threat. She loved it when Izzy threatened people with grotesque things, and meant every word, it made people not take her seriously. Lainey was protective, but to be honest she knew that Chantel loved her height and was comfortable with it. Just she was on the short end of the troupe members.*
*When a name was given Chantle felt it only right to give her name. But not the one he would be hoping for.* Call me Whisper. *This was her nickname, mostly because she could speak to animals...in a round about way.*
*Once he was gone she turned to Lainey, seeing that scolding in her face. She instantly knew what was comming.* Not like I would flirt back. *Her natural French accent, sounded like she was speaking softly and passionatly, but she wouldn’t put her neck on the line for some outsider who is here to take pictiresand “ooh” and ah” at what they have to offer, leaving with pictures and for the troupe to clean up after them.* And are you saying I’m not pretty? Boys only flirt with pretty girls. So there’s now way he was flirting with me. *Chantel knew that she looked good, but she was still self consious about her looks....every girl has at least one thing that they wish was different about herself. And those girls who say they don’t....are lying.*
*Chantel let her cousin vent for a little bit when both girls would hear a voise comming from within the tent.* Ladies and Gentelman please find your seat, the show will begin momentarely. *That meant that the girls had jobs to do and they needed to get in position.* Izzy, we need to get going, the show is about to begin. It if will make you feel better I’m going out again after the show, you can accompany me, and if that Theo boy comes around again you can scam him or something. *Then Chantel ran to the back of the tent, placing Arcamedis lovingly back into his tank Chantel’s job was to keep animals calm and ready to go out onto the stage.* ______________________________________________________________________________ *The show was finally over and the troupe was busy getting ready for the next show. Once again Chantel was put on animal duty. She was to take one of the animals and walk around with it. This time she chose a Zebra. This one was a girl and she was the “queen” of the show. She loved attention and loved to be in the costumes. She looked so beautiful and she hated it when people weren't paying attention to her. Chantel walked around, letting people pet the pretty Zebra and talking about their animals.*

Theo had enjoyed the show they had put on in the tent. He loved how everything went. The circus troupe was good at entertaining others with an artistic flair. He was walking around the open grounds after the show and noticed that more people then he had thought had decided to stick around after. The circus people were entertaining the people who stuck around. He looked around some more, but while he enjoyed what everyone was doing, he wasn't enjoying it as much as he had when the girl who said to call herself Whisper had been talking to him. He had been looking around for a few minutes when he spotted a zebra. He decided to go over and have a look. A smile crossed his face as he saw that the one leading the zebra was the shorty from before. Some of the crowd seemed to have recognized and remembered Theo from earlier since shortly after he got close to the girl, they started badgering him to play something again. He tried to decline them, but they wouldn't stop their relentless begging. After a bit, he finally got an idea. He pushed his way to the girl and stopped next to her. He bent over so that only she would hear what he had to say. " Whisper, please just play along. These people won't leave me alone about playing again, so would you mind taking their money from them?" Theo said to her in a quiet voice. " I'm sorry that I will be doing this again." Theo opened up his violin case and took his violin out and smiled at the crowd. He got set and quickly began to play. His bees came out from under his shirt and again began to fly with the tone of the music. Their buzzing joined in with his song yet again and gave the song a depth to it that he wouldn't be able to do playing by himself. He kept this up for a time until the end of the song and ended it with only a simple bow. Theo quickly asked the crowd to give any money to the shorty before he quickly retreated to an area with no one in it with his violin case in hand.
