Liam had taken a job from a regular employer about something causing problems outside of his workshop. The guy didn't know what it was or why it was making so much noise at night, but he didn't feel like contacting the police and he thought there might be a chance it was a competitor doing something underhanded again. Liam decided to take the job even though he hadn't taken any since he picked up Stella off the street, she was just too sick for him to leave alone, but had changed his mind on this one since it was so close to the city and didn't sound like it would take long to complete. He knew how to get to the guy's workshop, since this wasn't the first time he had taken a job like that, so he was driving his personal vehicle there.

Liam wasn't sure yet if it was a good idea to bring Stella along with him yet, but she was bored and she was only feeling drained and tired lately instead of full blown sick. He was glad she was feeling better, mostly, and figured she could use some fresh air. Who knows why Stella actually agreed to come, he figured boredom, but she might have had another reason for it as well. All Liam knew was that him and Stella were heading out so he could do a job.

Stella was board when Liam asked if she wanted to come on a job just flipping threw chancles on the t.v with the 5th remote she had scene she had moved in with Liam she had destroyed the rest she was more then willing to go with him she was getting to the point with t.v watching she could quote the shows witch kind of scared her to no end. She hoped into his car with her blanket she was wherein some of her pricing feeling well enough to take them in and out and even if she wasn’t well enough to take them out she found if she got worst threw the day Liam would take out most of them for her. There was also another reason why she didn’t want to stay alone in that place because it was so quite and felt lonely the frist time Liam left her alone to go shopping Stella almost went mad with the silence and had turned on every t.v radio her new laptop and anything she could find that made noise as soon as Liam had come home she clung to him like she was a little girl who didn’t want to go to the first day of school….it got slightly better after that.

Stella was just laying in his car, with the window rolled down acting like this was any other drive to the store or anything she knew it was for a job but didn’t think much of it, it could be anything. She sit up everyone in awhile to see where they where, they where staying in the city witch wasn’t bad. She wondered how many jobs he had denided why she was with him because she wasn’t feeling well and he wanted to take care of her.

Stella looked at Liam with a smile on her face but her eyes shagged as if they had no sleep tought she been sleeping a lot the past few days. “You think your going to pick up a stray girl on this job to ”

Liam glanced over at Stella after she had asked him if he was going to pick up another stray girl this time. He laughed slightly after she had said that. He knew it was odd that he had taken Stella in to complete that job before rather then kill her like his employer, a man who was now on Liam's black list as well as many other mercenaries black list just because Liam had put him on his, would have wanted him to, but as he saw it, who else would have taken her in and done so much for her while she was so sick and her powers so unstable at the time? He was glad that Stella's powers had stabilized a couple of days after he first picked her up though, he had replaced almost every glass object in his house six times at least while she was. He was in a good mood and the ride was feeling more like a picnic trip then him heading off to work.

" Another stray girl who would distract me from you Stella? Never! Maybe a kitten or a puppy though." Liam said in a joking kind of way.

Liam had driven them out of the city by this point and had gotten off on a back road. He turned downed a dirt road after being out of the city for around ten minutes.

Stella laughed and poped her feet on the dash broad of the car she was whereing some skinny jeans and a halter top that was pink and purple she snuggled into the blanket she had token form the house she was loving the fact that she had nice clean blankets to snuggle into all the time it was much better then the rag that she called a blanket that Liam found her in witch she was sure Liam threw away when she wasn't looking but she didn't care the other blankets around the house where much nicer then her old one.

“You know that might not be a good idea I mean who to say my powers won't start going haywire again and find the cute fluffy things it wouldn’t be the first time I tore something apart like that” she giggled “Size if I have to pick I say the kitty cause they kind of just do what they want and there cool o o and it needs to be black or a tabby and I get to help name it, It will be are baby”

She smiled looking out the window “Liam where in the world is your job anyway I don't know this part of town at all were not in the city anymore” Stella scanned the road taking in the sites trying to find something she know but unable to.

Liam had listened to what Stella had to say to him while he was driving. She seemed to be in a good mood since she was out of the house. She mentioned that if they did pick up an animal it needed to be a cat and that it could be their baby. He smiled sadly after she said that, and it would be obvious that what she said bothered him to almost anyone who might see him. He had just gotten to the dirt road when she had finished saying the thing about the cat and it wasn't long before she asked where his work was at. He just kept driving down the dirt road at a safe speed seeing as Stella was in the vehicle with him.

" Right a baby.... It would be nice if that were possible with me." Liam said at first in a hushed voice before talking normally. " My job is in a secret location outside the city in the woods and it will take another, maybe ten to twenty minutes to get where we are going. I'm not sure how often you have been outside the city, but it might be an interesting new experience for you. So, was there anything you wanted to talk about?"

Liam had a kind of sad look and sad smile on his face still as he drove down the road. He was trying to keep from making Stella feel sad or down with him. Who knew if he was actually doing a good job of that?

Stella looked out the window at the road there didn’t seem to be much out hear sort of reminded her of her old home when she was a kid back in Oklahoma stella heared him mumble something he didn’t seem to happy about what she had said about the cat

“Look I’m sorry if it was a bad idea just figured if your going to make light of replacing me with a cat or dog better let you know that I’m claiming the cat as my own as well as yours but doesn’t matter anyway never did well with animals anyway”

The job being in a secret location prek Stella intress secret things normally ment something was going on there was a smirk on her face she wanted to know what this all was about she was just going to take this trip as nap time but now she was going to have a bit of fun. Stella looked at Liam when he said that out side the city might be new to her “Not knew just….haven’t been out side a city like this sense I started living on my own all the trees kind of remind me of my parents house might be fun to go to a hinky dinky town again people like me stand out a lot sure id turn a lot of heads now if I went back home” she giggled that was aside form the fact that everyone she was sure thought she was dead that or if they did she her that night they didn’t think a 9 year old could last long on the streets by them selfs.

When he asked if she wanted to talk about anything she shuged “what ever you want to talk about I guess we can always play a get to know you game or something I say we just let the conversaion flow where it wants to tough I am interested in this job a bit more like why is it somewhere secret and does this mean where parking the car on the side of the road and walking” she ground on the last part she really didn’t want to walk in the forest

Liam listened to what Stella had to say to him after he had started to feel down. She didn't ask why he was so down about the whole comment about babies and didn't seem to hear him when he mentioned he couldn't have any. He was kind of glad she didn't since he wasn't sure how he would feel if he had to talk about that. She also didn't really narrow down what she wished to talk about until she asked about where they were going. He thought about how to explain it to her exactly.

" No we won't have to walk to where we are going. The job this time is at a workshop of a client that seems to like hiring me for jobs. Something has been making a lot of noise around the place recently at night from what I heard and I'm suppose to deal with it. I don't know all the details yet, but I will be told once we get there. I don't think it should be anything too bad, but you never know with this kind of job what all will end up happening." Liam said to Stella in reply. " It could just be walking around the woods at night and finding a guy trying to scare people off or it could be some strange creature that got loose from one of the other workshops in the area. It could also be nothing, so it is hard to say how boring or entertaining this kind of job will be."

Liam continued to drive down the road and the road suddenly went from being dirt to a simple concrete road. Liam speed up as the vehicle got onto the concrete road and the ride smoothed out as well.

Stella raised her brow when he said what the job was she rested her head back snuggling into the blanket a bit more “So if you end up driving all the way down and this noise is just some cats fighting or its some big gang or crap your still going to get payed the same right” Stella giggled at the idea of it being some guy in the woods trying to scare people with how much t.v she seen lately “We need to be in a mystry van that looks like the 70’s pukes on it” she giggled “You can be Fred and I’ll be Daphne” she kept giggling. Humming the theme song to Scooby doo out load.

“But I need red hair for that” she pulled a strand of her hair in fornt of her and looked at it “ and longer I think it still be fun to cos play that I haven’t cosplayed in a long time normally don’t get any ideas”

She watch the road turn form dirt to concrete again as soon as it did she threw her feet on the dash board and rolled down the window still playing a bit with her hair.

Liam continued to drive down the concrete road for a time. After around ten minutes, a fence and the top of a building behind it appeared at the end of the road. He kept driving until he came up to a gate at the front and stopped as he got to it. He rolled down his window and nodded at a guy in the gate house who just nodded back before the gate opened up. He waited till the gate was open before he drove inside and parked off to the side. He turned the vehicle off and got out. He looked over at the building, which was very plain and just looking like any warehouse you might see in the city. He looked over at Stella after she got out herself.

" How do you feel after the drive? Refreshed any?" Liam asked her. " Do you want to meet the client with me or would you rather have someone go with you and look around the woods or the place? I'll get things in motion for you either way, so just take your pick. I'd like to keep you close to me though, but I'm not going to make you either."

Liam waited for her reply so he knew what to do.

Stella figured when he didn’t say anything about anything she said and just got silent that he didn’t think it was funny so she didn’t say anything else for a wile tell they got to the wearhouse.

Stella hoped out of the car leaving the blanket there in the car but grabing a jacket that she had in the back seat and therw it on. Stella looked around and the building giving a yawn o this looked boring and what was with the gate lame.

When Liam asked if she wanted to meet the client she shrugged and walked next to him “Well I don’t see why I should walk around the woods by my self yet I might latter but I want to see this person who your client is please”

Stella knew she wasn’t in any sort of biness outfit being a in short skirt and some fishnets a thin shirt that was pretty much see threw but there was a tanktop under it then she did just put on her jacket so it wasn’t so bad of an outfit but still not something you go up and meet new people in that is unless you where Stella.

Liam just nodded after Stella said she wanted to meet his client. He started to head towards the door leading into the workshop. He hadn't gotten far before he stopped and turned to face Stella. He looked at her a moment before he suddenly picked her up into his arms. He turned back to the building and continued on his way again.

" I'll just carry you, so that this way I won't lose you once we get inside. The place can be like a maze if you haven't been in it before." Liam said to her. " Plus, how could I resist the urge to carry you anywhere your Highness?"

Liam just smiled as he got to the door. There was no handle on the front of the door or any sign of a way to open it. A strange black sphere above the door suddenly had a red dot show up in the middle of it and it scanned Liam and Stella with a wide red beam. After it had finished scanning them, the door opened up a moment later. Liam walked inside it and into the workshop.

The workshop was completely different on the inside then it was on the outside. While the outside was plain and simple looking, the inside was full of robot parts, different types of guns and other arms, there were rooms that were full of beakers and flasks full of strange chemicals, rooms were new weapons were tested, rooms were chemicals were tested, rooms full of boxes and crates, and even a very large room that was lined with fully built robots. People were all over the place and doing every kind of thing you could imagine that people in this kind of place would be doing.

Liam just kept walking and didn't seem to notice any of it. He kept going and it was obvious that he had been here before. He kept going until he got to what was obviously an office and stopped. He looked down at Stella and smiled.

" Ready to meet my client for today?" Liam asked her.

Stella let out an eep when Liam picked her up suddenly, she should of expected it but she didn’t she shrugged when he said it was a maze in there how bad could it really be some rusty cars, or something. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled “o come on teddy I know you just like to hold me you don’t need to come up with reasons to hold me” she giggled but gave a small cough she grounded digging threw her jacket pockets for a cough drop and pop in her mouth. “Have I ever said how much I hate being sick”

Once inside the Stella looked around taking in everything that was around her it was a good think that Liam had a hold of her or she would of well….found something to play with. She moved around a little in his arms trying to look over liam and then plopping back down and looking at him. “Please tell me we get to play with the stuff pretty pretty please” she muttered to herself mostly

When he asked if she wasnted to see the client Stella shot her fist in the air “HELL YEA!!” she smiled as she looked at the door.

Liam just smiled after she replied so enthusiastically about if she wanted to meet the client or not. She really seemed to be interested in this place and he was glad he had decided to carry her instead of letting her walk on her own. He looked at the door to the owner's office and walked over to it. He couldn't get the door handle with him holding Stella, so he lightly kicked the door to make a knocking sound. Nothing happened for a few moment, then suddenly the door opened up and revealed a woman with black hair in a business suit and holding papers with the other hand that wasn't on the door handle. She frowned slightly, but stepped out of the way so Liam could enter.

Liam walked into a room that looked more like someone's personal study then an office inside a workshop. The walls had paintings, there were some small bookshelves along the walls, and even an entire entertainment system set up. There was a large couch and several comfortable chairs in the middle of the room positioned so that one could watch the TV while they were in there. The only things that looked like they belonged in an office was a large, oak desk covered with papers and other typical office supplies and many large filing cabinets lining the wall behind the desk. A handsome man who looked to be in his late 30s or early 40s sat at the desk in a nice, white suit and was reading a report. He looked up at Liam and gave him a warm smile before standing up.

" Pleasure to meet you once more Mr. Lancaster. I hope you have faired well in the three months since you last did a job for me?" the man said to Liam in a friendly voice. " Or was it four? Either way, come and sit down and relax! You got some time until nightfall and I need to inform you better about the job anyways."

Liam walked over to the couch and sat down with Stella still in his arms. He had his arms around Stella still, but she could easily get out and do what she wanted to if she didn't want to sit in his lap. He looked at the man after he got sat down.

" Tell me more about this job now Mr. Halfort. I heard some about it, but I would rather get the whole story from you." Liam said to the man.

Stella looked around the “office” she was expecting a desk and paper work but this….this was something you found at some rich guys house to liked to read to much. Stella couldn’t sit still she was looking around the room still in Liam lap thought she was tempted to stand up and start looking at everything in the room.
When everyone started calling each other Mr. Stella rolled her eyes and mumbled “If you interduse me as ms. Booth I will kill you” she said so only Liam could hear. Stella was excited to hear about her the job she was a hoping that they got to be alone hear at night mostly because she was sure there was a no touching rule on everything and Stella really really really wanted to go play with some of the stuff you don’t have half a robot on a table and have Stella not look at it Liam all ready knew she had a habit of taking things apart doing that all ready to her cell phone a few times and Liam had caught her taking the bottom off of her laptop when he talked her out of it saying he wasn’t going to buy a new one and Stella wasn’t going to put it back together.
Stella rested her head back in to Liam chest and smiled at him giggling a bit for no real reason that he understand Stella just got the image of an anime that she had watched where the guy always had a girl on his lap during meeting like this Stella was so tempted to sit on his lap like she had slept with him or that she was his slut or something
