That was it? That was all the fight she had left in her? He thought he was going to have a bit more fun out of her than this. But in the end it didn't really matter. Victor wasn't a stranger to taking what he wanted. Though he also liked trying to corrupt innocent little girls. Of course she didn't seem all that innocent. But he'd see where this would go...if his toy started to get boring...there was always that lake.
After that bite that he gave to her shoulder he moved his head again, this time nipping at her neck. That nip was followed a lecherous lick up to her cheek. Now the question was...what would she do? Fight again with what little energy she had? Or give into the dark and rough temptation he was offering to her. And there also was the 'go limp and turn your brain off' option.
He was curious to know which one she would pick but in the end it didn't really matter. Depending on her next actions would depend on his own....and he was still imagining the look of fear on her face as he had his hand on her throat while pushing her under the water. What? He was a psychopath...it was hard not to think of murder.

Of course that wasn't 'all' that was left. She was just smart. Keep squirming and you just tired yourself out. And if she could fool him into thinking she was exhausted and weak? All the better. He'd get careless then.... And when he got careless she would make her move. Now that would be fun...
He was back to her neck again, nipping at the smooth flesh. Her head moved ever so slightly, exposing the spot he'd chosen. Her whole body shuddered softly when he licked her, as if chilled by the strange action. After that though.... Nothing happened. He'd stopped, much to her surprise! Slowly she brought her gaze, which had been focused elsewhere until now, to state intently at him, her hazel eyes dark. "You're hesitating?" She paused only for a few moments. "What happened to claiming a prize? You caught me fair and square, after all..."
She actually sounded serious! That smirk he'd seen so many times before had returned once again, thought a little fainter then usual, as if taunting him. Daring him to prove his bite was just as bad as his bark.... Or growl in this case!

"That I did..." He commented back to her with a smirk. Oh she was just like Birdy. And part of that infuriated him.... But he tried not to think about that. After all he had a very attractive female in a very vulnerable position right now.
He took those words as a bit of a challenge. He pulled his body away from her, mostly just his torso. Meanwhile he maneuvered her hands so that he could still hold them above her head but this time with only one hand. His other hand moved down, brushing over her shoulder and down her arm. Those claws didn't touch her skin at all, but they did go to the fabric of her shirt. One claw purposefully catching at that fabric to slowly rake down and cut it into two pieces. He was careful not to cut her...which was a surprise even a little to himself. For some reason he hadn't wanted the wonderful metallic smell of blood to cover her own scent.
His eyes had turned to watch as he cut that fabric, wicked little smirk playing on his lips. Probably the best time for her to make a move with such a distraction.

If Merfonde had known about the constant comparison to 'Birdy' she might have gotten mad. She wasn't one to take kindly to things like that. It most definitely would have increased her need to escape, just to spite the man.
His sudden shift caught her interest. Perhaps.... Perhaps this could be the chance she'd been waiting for. With at least some of the weight gone, she just might be strong enough to break free... Might being the keyword. And even though she already felt she was lucky, he'd shifted even more, so he had one hand free. No, there wouldn't be another chance like this. Still, even with the weakened hold it would be impossible for one reason. His attention. She shuddered once more as his fingers trailed across flesh.
rrrrrrrrrrip
Those same claws that could slice through metal, tear into dense wood, were tearing through the fabric of her shirt as if it were nothing. His caution though instantly peaked her interest. He didn't seem to have any desire in cutting her. That was beyond shocking. Even more shocking... Was his attention seemed to be fixed on his craftsmanship, and not her.
Suddenly, Merfonde grinned. With that carefully preserved energy, she yanked hard with her hands, dragging them free instantly. Next step? Get out from between him and the tree, otherwise freeing her hands was a complete waste of time. She moved quickly, using both her hands to force his fabric ripping clawed hand away from her chest and into the wood of the tree where she'd been.
After that, freeing her legs was easy. And once she was free? She skipped a few feet away, trying to stay out of his 'area' this time. "That doesn't mean I play fair, though." She didn't seem at all concerned about her half ripped open shirt.

"I didn't expect you to play fair darlin'. I expected you to hold still." That sinister smirk appeared again as his claws dug into the tree infront of him. Though this time those claws kept their grip on the tree, his other hand moving to grip the tree to the side. And suddenly with a exursion of strength, the man ripped the very tree from its spot and then flung it at her. It was a large tree, so aiming wasn't really necessary. And well he was going for scaring the hell out of her more than really hitting her. But if she got hit, well that was her own damn fault. Silly human.
Victor climbed up a nearby tree and jumped a few branches before he was looming over her. He smirked still while looking down at her. "Tell you what. If you're so confident in your little game." He pointed to his head while he said 'little game'. "Then, tag...you're it. You can track me...but can you catch me?"
He turned and jumped a few more trees before he jumped to the ground with a thud and ran on ahead. He knew she was a bit tired so he didn't run far before he looked for a hiding spot. Oh he could draw out this encounter as well...and if she didn't want to play then he had other plans for her and that pretty blue lake.

Merfonde was grinning, not at all worried about her own safety. "Where's the fun in that?" She planted those hands of hers on her hips once more, chuckling softly. Her chuckling stopped with the sudden insane feat of strength. Okay, he was a lot stronger then she'd thought. That was the problem with dealing with mutants, they had a nasty habit of surprising you.
She didn't panic though. She just waited, waited for the tree to get close enough, before jumping, planting her hands on it's surface, using it as a spring board of sorts, flipping over it and out of harms way. "I think that's the first time anyone's actually thrown a whole tree at me..." She ran her fingers through her hair, surprise written on her face.
He wasn't in front of her any more. Looking up, it wasn't hard to spot the giant only directly over head. "Is that a challenge?" Her eyebrows raised, a smirk playing on her lips once again. So he didn't think she was capable of catching him? For some reason she suddenly felt the intense need to prove him wrong. He was gone then, off to continue their 'game'. She chuckled.
Slowly she followed. It was easy, each tree he moved to shook leafs free, all she had to do was follow the very obvious trail he was leaving. Apparently he'd decided to change things up, the deep shoe prints in the dirt keeping her on the right path. She smiled. She might not have that insane sense of smell like him, but she could still track him. She picked up her pace, jogging, picking up a few pine cones in the process.

The hell was she doing with the pine cones? Victor watched curiously from a high tree branch. Oh yea he had left her a trail but that didn't mean he was on it anymore. This was hide and seek after all. But this was also Victor Creed's version of hide and seek. The idea of what he would do when it was his turn, made him grin.
He sat down quietly on the branch as he watched her walk away from him. Maybe he could take a little nap until she figured it out. He turned himself on the branch, letting his back rest against the large tree trunk while his arms moved to fold behind his head and rest against the tree for a pillow. He closed his eyes as he listened to the world around him, making sure that he still heard her footsteps moving away from him. He would rest but made sure that he was still aware of the world around him. With his sense of smell and hearing, even with his eyes closed it would be hard to sneak up on him. As well as the fact that he was a good fifty feet high into that tree.

Merfodne didn't jog long, only a small ways before slowing back to a walk again. She moved like a skilled hunter, making little to no sound, her gaze on the trail. Of course he would smell her, depending on the direction of the wind, but that didn't mean he needed to hear her. Not to mention she could read the trail much better walking then running.
Suddenly, Merfonde stopped. The trail still kept going in front of her, but she'd spotted something out of the corner of her eye. Her gaze went upward, to the tree branches. Something heavy had moved through them some time ago....
He was trying to through her off, she was sure of that. So what to do? Keep following the trail on the ground, to make sure it ended? Or follow the trees? Turning around, she chose the trees. It mirrored the trail on the ground, taking her back quite a ways, before ending. Quickly she ducked behind a tree, just as silent as before, before cautiously peeking out from behind it. He had to be nearby...
Her gaze made quick work, scanning the ground, then the trees. Nothing there.... or there..... or th- She did a double take. Something was in that tree. It was to far up to make out clearly. Should she just assume it was him, or keep searching? No.... She'd risk it. She'd have only one chance either way, because when he figured out she was on to him, and she'd guessed wrong or been to slow, her chance would be gone.
Dropping all but on pine cone to the ground, she held it in her right hand, staring at it for a moment. A moments pause... Before she stepped away from the tree, arm winded back. With out any hesitation she threw it with all her strength, the small pine cone easily sailing the distance. She waited, watching to see if it would miss.

He was enjoying his little 'nap' until he arched a brow, even with closed eyes. Pulling a hand from behind his head, he reached that hand out to catch what he heard was whirling towards him. He opened his eyes to look at the pinecone that he caught. "Really?" He looked down to see where she was. But since she was hiding behind that tree he didn't see her quite yet. "You're going to hurt me with a pine cone? Hmph...I'm not so sure you understand the rules of this game Bunny." He smirked as he rose up to his feet. He had to admit that, that had been quite a good throw on her part.
He flipped down, using his hand to hold onto the branch as he jumped further down until he was on the ground again, still holding on to that pine cone. He tossed it in the air a little, up and down. Victor sniffed the air and looked to that tree she was behind. "That all ya got, or are you giving up?" His words were mainly used to irritate her, since he wasn't too impressed by her pine cone tactics.

Merfonde had ducked back a little, just to make it a little harder on his part of spotting her. Hearing what he had to say though almost made her twitch. Basically she was being given permission to hurt him.... Interesting. She didn't have any weapons on her though. Looks like she'd have to make do with what she could find then.
She started to scan the area. Obviously broken branches could do some serious damage, but getting one would mean making noise. Her gaze turned to her discarded pine cones. Perhaps she could find a way to at least make them a little more useful... Crouching down, she stared at them, turning one over in her hand as she thought.
He was on the ground now. At this level he wouldn't take long to find her, not with that nose of his. She sighed, wanting to curse his sense of smell. Suddenly, she had an idea. He wanted her to hurt him? She'd do just that....
A few moments of silence passed, before she finally stepped away from behind the tree, her eyebrows raised as she stared at him, that same pine cone she'd been staring at in her hand. "I'm not one for giving up." She really did look irritated, but she held back, forcing herself not to act on the emotion.

He smirked as he saw her step out from the tree. "You didn't seem like the type. But doesn't seem like you're trying very hard. You're still 'it' after all." Oh yes Victor's hide and seek game was...twisted. And she'd understand in time what he really meant by this game. Of course she probably wouldn't like it once she realized what it was. But keeping the beast entertained was the only thing keeping her alive at the moment. And as much as he loved inflicting pain....he was a bit of masochist as well.
He rose his arms out to the side, almost as if he was offering a hug to her. "Show me what you got Bunny. Then it'll be my turn." He grinned wickedly...oh how he wanted it to be his turn. Those claws were itching for something to dig into...
He watched her carefully, wondering what she would do next. He was pretty sure she wasn't armed anymore. That one knife seemed to be the only weapon she had on her. That alone made him think that she wasn't the brightest crayon in the box...but overconfidence was always a downfall.

All Merfonde did was chuckle softly. She was the one not trying that hard? "I don't see much reason to. You weren't trying that hard earlier, either." Her eyebrows raised a little. For some reason she knew he was up to something. What that was.... She didn't know. That wary part of her didn't want to know, reminding her of the dangers. But when had she ever lead a 'safe' life?
She just watched him warily as he spread his arms out. Instead of seeing it as a 'hug' though, she saw it as a free shot. Again, she was split on what to do. Use her new makeshift weapon, or not. All the while, she thoughtlessly rolled the pine cone in her hand. Finally, she decided. He was underestimating her again, and she hated that. He wanted to see what she could do with only a pine cone? She'd show him..
Turning the pine cone over once more, so it was held the exact way she wanted it, she flicked her wrist, sending the small thing catapulting towards him. In those moments, two things were obvious. It was a young pine cone, still closed tightly.... And she'd somehow sharpened the end flying towards him to a dangerous point.

Yes, he was giving her an open shot. Now would she waste it? Wait, was that a sharpened pine cone? The hell... Well he supposed he had to give her points for ingenuity but still. He didn't budge...just let her come at him at full force. That pine cone driving into his chest with the force she used. What was it with his shirts? You'd think he was the Hulk with how many shirts he went through. Oh well. There was a nice sizable hole in his shirt now from that pointed pine cone as well as blood trailing down to stain the lower portion of his shirt.
That grin stayed on his face as he took the sting from her attack. He still hadn't moved. "Run little Bunny....run..." That grin took an even darking look as he turned his shoulder to loom over her some while he gave her the chance to run and hide. And when he found her...oh and he would...he was going to enjoy it. Whether she would or not...well...that would be her own issue. Perhaps he would get to learn something new about his 'companion' then.

What was with that insane pain tolerance of his?! He hadn't reacted to her nearly breaking his elbow, only reacted for a few seconds to the knife in his wrist, and now, with a pine cone embedded in his chest he didn't even move! It infuriated her. Never before had she met someone this invulnerable to pain.
Scowling from frustration, she didn't need him to repeat himself. He wanted to keep playing this game, she had no choice but to... For now. Her eyes narrowed a little, meeting that dark look he was giving her with defiance. Finally though she turned and ran.
Her direction wasn't mindless this time. This time, she ran towards where she knew they'd been before. She knew he'd been following her scent earlier, but what if she could fool him into taking the wrong path, by back tracking? It was possible, the trail shouldn't be cold....
On the path from the first chase, she stopped only for a moment to figure out the direction of the wind. She went downwind, finally ducking out of sight in the thick bushes. There, she waited, forcing herself to stay deathly still, her breathing slow. No way was she going to make a sound loud enough for him to follow!

And the Bunny was getting smarter. He smirked as he let her run off. Yes his pain tolerance was high. In all technicality he even survived being decapitated before...so a pine cone to the chest wasn't much really. Though he wondered what kind of training made a girl like her think of turning a pine cone into a weapon.
A moment later he was after her, tracking her as quickly as he possibly could. Except now she had made him work. He sniffed at the air and looked at the ground...trying to decide which trail was newer than the other. It wasn't long before he was in the area she was. He just had to find the right spot. "Come out, come out, where ever you are." He smirked as he looked around, walking as he looked while those ears listened for anything that would betray her location to him.
This was a dense area of the forest so he had to move slowly if he was going to find her. He sniffed the air again...he smelled her...but there was still the older scent of hers from before so while he was hot on her trail... He was a little set back by that.
