*Shakaku stumbled as he was shoved towards the door. He looked back and listened to her. He half smiled then went on his way. That half a smile was probably one of the biggest he'd giving in a long time. It was almost like she actually somewhat cared for him.*
Thanks Freya. I'll work harder the next training session we have. *Not that he didn't work harder anyway, it's just he felt that he could do that in payment for this. She helped him lots, and he appreciated it, but didn't know how to show that, in any other way.*
*Shakaku grabbed his water bottle that was near the door and headed out. Downing the entire bottle quickly, he stopped to fill it up on the way. He took a small detour to his room, just to change. his close were practically soaked with his sweat. He quickly changed into a pair of old jeans and a shirt he wore a little while ago. They needed to be washed but he needed a shower too. But he couldn't wait any longer. He headed down to the infurmery to see Gisli.*
*Once there he walked in, looking around for his friend.*

Everyone had been making way to much of a big deal about the whole thing. So that stupid, old boathouse had collapsed on her! She wasn't that hurt! And when Hazel announced that someone was going to go get Shakaku... Well, today was just not going well for her. Why did they have to act like she'd lost a limb or something?! She was more bruised then anything else!
Gisli just sat on one of the beds as Hazel worked, avoiding the Nurse's gaze. There were a few cuts on her limbs, but only one was deep enough to need stitches. Shakaku came charging in just as Hazel had finished cleaning out all the wounds in case of metal poisoning. Seeing him, her face started to turn bright red. Why did they have to tell him?! She didn't want him to see her like this! Not just because it was embarrassing, but because... Well she didn't want the one guy she liked knowing what had happened! She'd rather just blame the Danger Room! He'd probably laugh when he found out what really happened...
Hazel was starting on the stitches now on the deep cut on her left calf. Gisli had already taken a sedative to numb the area, but she didn't dare watch in case it upset her stomach. That would be horrible. Not only would Shakaku have seen her in her pathetic state, but seen her throw up on top of that! No way was she risking that happening!

*Shakaku let out a hidden sigh as he saw that Gisli was alright. He walked over to Gisli and looked at Hazel.* What happened? *It was addressed to whom ever wished to answer. But he was glad that she was alright. Nothing seemed serious, and hazel sertenly was handling things fine. He felt stupid worrying for nothing. And to top it off he gave Freya a loaded weapon. That was never good. She would use if freely, when ever she saw fit. True she didn't personally know Gisli but she knew enough, and now more than Shakaku wanted to admit.*
*He then looked over at his wounded friend.* Are you alright Gisli? *He was fairly warm towards her and ganuenly wanted to now.*
*Well this was awkward, he thought to himself. He was in such a panic that something bad might have happened and it was for nothing. She was fine. He was going to hunt....no wait, he was an x-man. He couldn't. Dang. Well that just made a fairly good day worse. He was happily training when this guy made him freak out in front of Freya and then Gisli wasn't all that hurt to begin with.*

Hearing Shakaku's question only made Gisli's face turn even an even brighter red. Hazel on teh other hand chuckled, shaking her head. She knew Gisli would answer, no matter how reluctant she was. If only because she knew Hazel would tell him if she didn't! Finally Gisli just sighed, trying to make the color in her cheeks go away... and failing. "The boathouse collapsed..." Her voice was quiet, like it usually was when she didn't want to share something, so it'd prove difficult to hear her words.
If Shakaku did hear it though, it wouldn't be all that difficult to figure out that she had been in the boathouse when it collapsed. Only when he asked if she was alright, did she slowly look up at him. Again, she sighed. "Physically, yeah. I'm not sure if my pride will recover though..." Who would have felt great after having a crumbling building fall on their head? She'd gotten lucky though, and walked away with only a few bruises and cuts, but that didn't mean she felt amazing...
Hazel had finished stitching the wound now, an wandered off, to give the two teenagers some space. The last thing they'd want was her hovering, after all!

*Shakaku tried to ignore the first comment. And focus on her second.* I'm glad your alright. *He watched as Hazel left, minding her own business. Shakaku was so glad that Gisli was alright, but he was hiding the emotions fairly well. He had to focus on his powers keeping the room at a steady temperature that it already was at. That helped him not get out of control. It left him being able to concentrate but still do other things.*
So when does Hazel say you can leave? *He thought he should be the one to change the subject, because she was feeling bad about it. But he wondered why her face was so red. Was it pure embaresment? Well it could, but he didn't think so. Maybe there was more to it. He put his hand on her forehead, getting a good feel of her bodies temperature. It was quite hot, especially her face.* Are you alright Gisli. *She had been like this once or twice before when she was hanging around him. He wondered why. They were just friends..right? Just frineds. For some reason that sounded...well wrong for no apparent reason. Why did he feel that way?*

Gisli was more then relieved when she didn't hear him laugh. She'd almost expected him to. Seriously, she had the worst luck, a building collapsing on her and all... He didn't even crack a smile from amusement. But just because he didn't show it didn't mean he didn't find it funny...
"She said after she finished the stitches..." Which was now, basically. She'd just finished stitching up the cut after all. Still, she didn't move yet. Before she even could have moved he'd pressed a hand to her forehead. It wasn't exactly... well new. He'd done this once or twice when she'd gotten overly embarrassed about something, but like those previous times, it made her voice and breath lock in her throat for a few moments. Thankfully it didn't last forever. Maybe she was working up an immunity to it? "Yeah. I'm fine." Her voice was almost a squeak when she finally forced words to form.
Why did he have to do this when it had such a strong affect on her?! Sure, he was probably far to dense to even know it as half his fault her face was so red... But that was guys for you.

*Shakaku looked down, almost looking shy....almost.* Gisli can you be honest with me about something? *He couldn't make eye contact with her and the first discussion he had with Freya rang in his memory. Manly one word...passion. He was pretty sure that was the fact just a few minutes ago. But he had to know what Gisli felt. But he wasn't sure how to ask.*
*He was silent for a while before being able to look Gisli into her eyes. He looked serious, so serious that it could actually scare someone. Shakaku was rarely serious about anything.* What am I to you? How do you feel about me? *He wasn't sure if those were good questions to get the desired answer, but he hoped. It was hard enough actually thinking about the questions...let alone speak them. The last thing Shakaku wanted to do was ruin their friendship...again. But this time it might end up becoming permanent. That's why Shakaku was so nervous and withdrawn about it. He could barely keep eye contact. But he had to. He had to keep eye contact. He had to know what she felt and if she would lie about it. He wasn't sure what he feared the most. Her lying about it, or her telling the truth.*

The tone he used when he asked if she would give him an honest answer... Well she had never heard him use that tone before! He sounded almost... Nervous? But what was it he wanted to ask her? Suddenly she was nervous! "About what...?"
Hearing his questions though.... Gisli froze, as if shocked. Why was he asking that?! And how the hell was she supposed to answer?! What was she supposed to say?! She stared wide eyed at him for a few moments, her face as red as it could get.
Shakaku looked completely serious to! And even more nervous then her! But why? Did he suspect that she liked him? But how could he have known? And the way he just looked at her made her feel like all those buried feelings for him were being forced to bubble up. But how could she, the unusually shy, and easily embarrassed Gisli, ever manage to form the words to express those feelings? Finally, she looked away, breaking the eye contact, as if terrified he'd know her feelings just by the look in her eyes.... If only she'd thought of it sooner. He would have had a good few seconds to read the emotions...
"..... You're dense."

*Shakaku saw the look in Gisli's eyes. He scared her. He didn't want to do that....actually that was the last thing that he wanted to do. He paused for a moment, realizing that he was dense and sighed.* I'm sorry Gisli. I'll go now.
*He moved and kissed Gisli, impulsively, on her head and turned to leave. Heading towards the door. He didn't want to scare Gisli. But that was how she saw him. A bully that she was friends with. She probably thought that he could turn on her at anytime. He stopped right before the door, wanting to look back, wanting to see Gisli smile at him, one more time. But he knew he shouldn't.*
*It took all his power not to look back and he grabbed the door handle. Hesitating on turning it. But he did. He had to get out. Normally they could talk about nothing and everything at the same time. But now was different, why did he have to say something that stupid? He turned the door and started to leave.*
*Turning back only slightly, just so that Gisli would only be able to see a little bit of his face, but enough to see his sincerity.* I truly am sorry Gisli.

Wait... What the hell?! That wasn't what she was trying to tell him! GAH! Why did boys have to be like this?! Dense! The lot of them! Beyond dense! pathetically dense! Suddenly, she wasn't all that embarrassed, more annoyed then anything really. He was heading for the door, as if this was really a farewell.
"Þú of þétt hálfviti..." Shakaku had never speak Icelandic before, and for good reason! She'd once told him she only ever spoke the language if she pissed. If only because the language came easier at those times then English, just like Japanese came easier to him.
Gisli's gaze was narrowed as she scowled at him. He was half looking back at her now, and as he did... He'd start to feel strange. It was like all of his energy was being sucked out of him, not even leaving him with enough to remain standing, let alone continue on his escape! Gisli slowly slipped off the bed, crossing to where he was.
Now, she knew she'd regret this later on, but it wasn't like she had much choice. A- Because she'd never get this chance again. B- He'd probably be overly surprised by her using her power on him, especially considering he knew near to nothing about her power! C- She couldn't put her thoughts and feelings into words. Actions seemed to be the only option.
Approaching him(whether he was on the floor from the sudden weakness, or bracing himself against the wall.), she was still scowling a little. "Why do you have to be so dense and think I hate you?" Carefully, and half scared by her own actions, she leaned forward, pressing her lips against his for only a moment before quickly pulling away. A soft pink had touched her cheeks, a subtle blush, before she bolted out the door he'd opened. Halfway down the hall, she released him from the weakness spell, his strength instantly returning to him. She didn't stop her running though, if anything she started running faster.
If only she was a fast runner... If he wanted, it wouldn't take that much effort of Shakaku's part to catch her.

*Shakaku was put in almost shock when the energy was drained from him and he fell almost to the floor, leaning against a wall. Instinctively he put heat around him to protect himself but then the kiss happened. He sat there bland faced for only a few seconds. Standing up he took a deep breath. What had just happened? Half anger and half passion glass beakers started to break in Hazel's office, when he noticed what was happening he instantly took control and headed off towards the dorm rooms.*
*He was so freaking dense that he couldn't even face Gisli now. He was pretty sure that she felt the same way he did. Any kid who passed him got a second degree burn and any kid unfortunate enough to touch him got a bad third degree burn. He walked into his dorm room sitting on his bed, a barrier or heat around him, so that no one would be able to get near him. The only place that wasn't unbearably hot was around the furniture and in the drawer where the little Furai was. No normal human would be able to live, let alone set foot near Shakaku's barrier. He wanted to be left alone. He whipped out his phone. He had to talk to Gisli, but he was almost afraid to.*

Gisli had headed straight back to her own dorm room, leaning against the door after slamming it shut. Thankfully the room was empty. How would it look if her over talkative roommate saw her like this? Not to mention she'd never shut up if that happened....
Reality was crashing down on her now. She slid down until she sat on the floor, still blocking the door with her back, a hand over her lips. Why did she do that? How could she have done that? How could she have used her power on him just so she could kiss him?! But what was she supposed to have done? He'd been thinking she hated him! But... Really, what were the chances of him feeling the same way? He probably hated her now!
This was so confusing. He knew how she felt, but she didn't know how he felt. Had she just ruined their friendship? That's why she hadn't wanted to tell him! To just keep these impossible feelings buried so that they would never ruin her relationship with him... He probably wouldn't let her stay by his side now... Not since he knew how she really felt...
IT was then that she got the first text from Shakaku. Reaching into her pocket to check the message, she almost went wide eyed when she read it. He wanted to meet her somewhere? She sent back the most normal message she could, making sure to hide her uncertainty in the texts exchanged between them.
With the place and time, she slowly rolled to her feet. Taking a deep breath, she left her room heading for the studio...
She knew she as early. But if she hadn't come right then, when she'd resolved to, she probably wouldn't have shown up at all. She sat on one of the deep windowsills, legs crossed as she stared out it, trying to calm her raging nerves. What did he want to tell her? That their friendship was over? Never to come near him again? Her imagination was running wild, thinking up the worst case scenarios...

*Shakaku, after sending the last text hopped into the shower for only a minute or so then got dressed. He then headed down to the studio where he ad asked her to meet him. He had no idea what to say but he knew that he had to tell her.*
*Finally he got the nerves to walk in the door. Seeing Gisli there in the window seal only made him a little more nervous. But he quickly covered the space in betwen them so that he was standing close to her. He had picked the studio because it was one of the safest places that he could think of. Not just that but there was less stuff for him to accentually burn. He was sure that this was going to be extremely difficult, there was no words coming out of his mouth, or even coming to his mind. He had to do something. Instinctively he moved in pressing his lips onto Gisli's. He felt her face get warmer, but he only stayed there for a few seconds.* I just thought you should know.... that. *He couldn't say it for some reason. He wanted to but, he hoped that she understood.*

Gisli was growing more and more nervous by the minute. Her imagination wasn't helping all that much either. Trying to occupy herself, she stared out the window... Counting trees. She had probably counted the same tree more then a few dozen times when she finally heard the door open. He was here...
Slowly she looked towards him, trying to figure out what he'd wanted by his body language. It didn't work to well. But he had closed the gap between them to near nothing. She tried to prepare herself for what he might say, waiting for him to tell her that he didn't feel the same, that he didn't want her in his life anymore. What really happened though... Nothing could have prepared her for that.
He'd kissed her!
As if by habit, pink touched her cheeks, her face growing warmer. She hadn't expect that. At all. Him yelling at her for her feelings towards him? That she'd expected. but him returning her 'somewhat' confession?! Her breath and voice locked in her chest, again, as if still in shock from the whole thing.... Sadly, her expression gave away her stunned surprise.
When she finally managed to speak though, only an "Oh..." could be found in her disorianted mind...

*Shakaku was happy to get it out, relived more. But Gisli obviously didn't expect that, he could see it on her face. Her temperature raising. He waited for a little bit, hopping that she got her breath back. He looked at her as lovingly as he possibly could, witch turned into a almost seductive devilish look. He was bad at getting his...good emotions out in the open. Most of his looks were evil.*
*He still wasn't sure what was going to happen next. He hoped that they could go on being friends, or even more than friends. He hopped for the second but realized that with this knowledge...training will probably be bumped up to a minimum of four days a week. Him having a lover equaled passion central! And the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her. Crap Kaitou was probably going to laugh about this. 'Well if he does, I'll threaten him...or something.' Kaitou was his best friend, but Shakaku felt like he also had to keep up a certain image around him. Having a girl in his life would show weakness. But if any one dares to touch Gisli, they would have to deal with Shakaku...personally.*
