He was glad to have had some free time with Anya and Alex, but his walk only reminded him that he had work to do. After they had said their goodbyes, Ian waited until he was sure he was on his own, then snuck out once more. He knew that going out was dangerous, but for him going out alone meant pure suicide.
He remembered Jane's instructions on finding the hospital where the new girl was taken, as well as looking around at nearby schools. He even went as far as to look around the accident site that Jane had pointed out to him. He kept the image of the map in his mind as he looked, but so far his luck at finding the new Rose was turning up dead ends.
It wasn't until he was passing by a school when he overheard some students talking. He didn't pay them any mind until he brought up a girl named Lillian. It wasn't the name that got him, but the events surrounding it. The girl died then suddenly coming back to life, things exploding when ever the girl got angry. The description matched Rose perfectly, and he couldn't help but smile. He had finally found her.

Lillian had had to stay in the hospital for a week after the accident, for most of her injuries to recover, and because the doctors didn't exactly want her dying on them again. When she had been released though, word of her accident had spread through the entire College she attended. That was just great. Lily tried her best to ignore all the gossip though, and her friends had her back, keeping her busy or distracted when people tried to bug them.
Her last class of the day had ended, like most college students, and she was walking with friends with no real destination. That is.. until the three girls overheard students still gossiping about Lily. They stopped, the red head, who's right arm was in a cast, and two blonds just glaring at them, until finally one of the blonds, Angela, broke free from them, taking a few steps towards the gossipers and pointing a finger at them "Hey! Why can't you nerds just get a life and move on already? Leave her al-" She was cut off by the redhead... Lillian.
"Angela, just ignore it. They're just jealous nothing nearly that exciting happened to them. They're cutters anyway." She was smiling cheerfully, but the look in her intense hazel eyes was that of 'Do you want to see first hand what happens when I get angry?'. Angela laughed, returning to her friends and throwing an arm over each of their shoulders. "You know, Lil, ever since that accident everyone thinks your some sort of superhero." This time it was Lily's turn to laugh. "If I was a superhero I wouldn't have gotten in the accident to begin with!" The three girls kept one walking, chatting about other things, thankfully the topic of the car accident was lost.

Ian was still listening to the boys gossip when he noticed three s heading in their direction. The blond one, who he found out was a named Angela, stepped up and scolded the boys. She was then cut off by a ed name Lillian, who had caught Ian's attention completely. What drew him to her was her comment to the boys, which made him smile. But what caught his attention was the looks she gave them. He knew that look anywhere, it was the same look that Rose gave him every time he irritated her, which was most of the time during their first years together.
That has to be her.
He smiled big when they started talking about the , Angela commenting that everyone thought Rose was a superhero. Ian waited until they were far enough away for him to at least see them, then began to follow them. He continued to keep his distance from them, making sure he didn't look like a stalker, just your average kid walking the streets of New York. His only hope was he didn't run into anybody who would recognize him, good or bad. But what about Lillian, or Lil as her friends called her, would she recognize him?

The three girls had finally decided on what to do, stop for some coffee before heading back to their dorm room. There was a Starbucks on the way, so they just stopped their, each taking a turn to order their own unique flavor and paying. While they waited, they just sat at a table and chatted more, the topics varying from Professors at the college to the party later that night. Lily still hadn't decided if she was going, and the two blonds were trying to convince her to go. So far they'd had no luck. They even went as far as saying that the boy Lily had been crushing on since High school would be there.
Her response was just a simple shrug. "I guess..." That got her friends' attention, as if shocked she would say something so plainly about the guy. "What happened? Did he reject you or something?". Lily raised both eyebrows, as if shocked. "Of course not. He's just... Not as good looking as I thought." Angela sighed.
"Great, lemme guess? More side affects from the crash? I thought we were through seeing your post traumatic changes." Lily rolled her eyes. "Why do you have to put it that way?" Their number was called, and Lily excused herself to get the three coffees for them..

Ian continued to follow them, even as they entered the starbucks. He didn't know why, but he was feeling more nervous then before. It wasn't like they hadn't seen each other before right? It was still Rose, only in a different body right? So why was he nervous? He finally opened the door, just as Lily was heading towards the counter to get their orders. Here goes nothing he thought to himself as he entered. He walked up to the counter just as Lily reached it, which he had to admit was good timing even with someone who didn't have his speed.
"Green tea please. Sweetened." he told the man behind the counter, then looked to Lily as he fished for his wallet, "Hi. Nice day huh?"
Nice day? That's the best you could come up with?, he scolded himself inside as he paid for his drink. He took a table not far from where the three sat, keeping himself in Lily's eyesight, and her in his. Thankfully the missions he went on had taught him to keep a low profile when following someone. He took a paper off from one of the stands and looked through the comics, smiling as he read a few.

Lily was reaching for the three drinks when she heard the guy who was ordering his own speak to her. She glanced over her shoulder. "Oh, yeah. Nice day." It was then she actually got a good look at him. She blinked. What the...? Why did this guy look so familiar! Great... another de ja vu moment... She'd been getting those a lot lately, ever since the accident, actually... And as weird as it sounded, he kind of reminded her about one of the people in the dreams she'd been having lately. That was weird... and creepy!
Lily didn't say anything else, accepting the drinks and quickly retreating back to the table her friends were at, for some reason, it was almost like she was fleeing, and maybe she was. At the table though, she felt she might be safe from more de ja vu moments... Until he happened to sit at a table right in her line of sight. What the hell? She watched for only half a second, before shaking her head and taking a sip from her coffee. Could this day be any weirder? Why did that guy look so familiar? And why did he have to sit right there?!

To say that Ian was nervous was an understatement. Thankfully he had his order was up and he got up and walked to the counter to take his tea. He smiled and thank the man behind the counter before heading back to his paper, catching a glimps at Lily while she wasn't really looking at him before walking back to his table. He had to move around a bit because he almost bumped into his own table before sitting down.
I wonder if she recognized me.
He noticed the look on her face when she saw him the first time. She must remember something about him, otherwise she wouldn't be nervouse. He just hoped he wasn't scaring her at all. He tried to think of a way that he could really get her attention, but he couldn't think of anything at the moment. Then he thought about the Christmas party that the school was having, but to invite them would mean that he would be proving he had left the grounds. He couldn't do that, but to get Rose back, or Lily as she was known now, would it be worth it? Could he risk bringing her friends to? Getting her alone could be really risky.

Lily had decided to ignore the guy, instead, focusing on the conversation with her friends. He must just have one of those faces that reminded you of someone else. That or she could have just seen him a few times before, or he’d gone to the same school as her at some point in her life…. There were plenty of reasons why he looked familiar! Finally though, Lily pulled out her phone to check the time. “Sorry, I’ve got to run.” She stood from the table her friends occupied, slipping her backpack on and taking her coffee up in one hand. The goodbyes were swift, and Lily left with out any troubles. Her pace was slow, treading towards the dorm room she was in this semester, her thoughts wandering.
A lot of strange things had happened since the Car accident. She’d been having some unusual mood swings, getting angry, being serious, but nothing to out of the ordinary for someone in her situation. Her councilor said it was normal to have some changes after a wreck like that. When she was angry though… Things seemed to break. Sure, the first time it had been a funny coincidence they’d joked about, but after a few times… Well it was getting a little freaky. When she went to bed, she would have strange dreams…. That were so real they almost seemed to be reality and this life now the dream. All in all? That accident had really messed up her life.

Ian didn't pay much attention to them, but managed to keep glancing at Lily while the others weren't watching. He waited until a few minutes after she left the restaurant to follow after her, being as inconspicuous as possible. He finished his tea and began walking after her, making sure to keep a safe distance from her. He was glad he was keeping this a secret, the only people knowing he was doing this was Jane and Pitsha, but that was because both had told him about her.
He continued to follow her until she went up to her dorm. He sighed, wondering how he would be able to explain himself. He didn't know what else he could do, but his answer was solved when he saw a student heading his way. He took out a piece of paper and pencile and wrote a small note, asking the student to give it to Lily. The student agreed, and Ian headed back down outside the main entrance, waiting to see what would happen. The student slid the note with Lily's name on it under the door.
Lillian,
Do you have incidences where things blow up when you're angry? Do you have visions of people that you don't know but seem familiar to you? I can help, I can explain everything. Meet me outside if you want to know.

Back in her dorm room, Lily discarded her bag and lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She was so confused... She'd come to a conclusion. She'd never seen that guy before in her life. So why the hell did he look so familiar? Why did she have to have dreams where a guy that looked kind of like him sometimes appeared? Was it just a coincidence? Or was she just thinking he looked similar because his hair was the same color and cut? She never got a good look at the guy in her dreams, after all... They were just dreams. You didn't have dreams about people you'd never met before...
The student delivering Ian's message knocked on the door before leaving, just in case she didn't notice the note. With a sigh she rolled off the bed, heading to the door and opening it just a crack. No one was there. Rolling her eyes, she shut the door, intending to go back to her thoughts before starting her homework when she spotted a folded piece of paper on the floor. Curious, she reached down, unfolding it and gazing intently at it.
What the hell?
She scowled, already feeling that new easily angered emotion building. Was this someone's sick idea of a joke?! She glared at the paper, and instantly intended to go down and confront this person, not because they thought she was some nutjob and wanted to laugh at her for believing they could help, but to give them a piece of her mind! Throwing the door open she almost stalked down the flights of stairs to the bottom floor, glaring the whole way. Outside, she planted her hands firmly on her hips, not in one hand, her furious gaze looking for whoever wrote the note.

He wasn't sure how this was going to work out, but when the door opened and he looked at who it was, he couldn't help but smile. She stood there glaring at him, her hands on her hips and the look in her eyes was the same that Rose had given him when she was angry.
"You definitely have that same glare she use to have." he smiled, taking a glance at the note before his smile faded and he took a deep breath, "Ok, you may not believe me, but we use to know each other in another life. And when I say another life, I mean about a month ago."
He stopped for a minute before reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a small picture and held it out to her, hoping he would get her attention with it. It was a picture of Rose and himself, with an arm around each other and smiling into a camera.
"Her name was Rose. She died about the same time as your . It was at a construction site," the look in his eyes showed that he was remembering it as if it was yesterday, "Me and my friends Parker and Alex were there to. She killed herself trying to save us."

Great. It was that guy. So he was the one mocking her? What the hell! She didn't even know him and he was pulling this kind of thing?! That had her furious. Thankfully... Nothing was exploding... Yet.
She waited until he finished everything he had to say, only half listening to his words. She didn't care at all what he was saying, but she still felt some obligation to hear him out. Something about knowing each other from another life. Oh yeah, like that was going to explain everything! The more he said, the darker her expression became. None of this was really 'clicking' to her, meaning that the 'true' Rose side wasn't awake yet... All that stood before him was the remnants of Lily's soul, slowly, very slowly, taking on Rose's personality. Which was supposedly a long process.
"Yeah, great. Thanks. Well that's just comforting. What, are you only talking to me because you believe in second chances? That somehow my accident 'magically' turned me into this Rose person?" Her eyebrows were raised in a 'You're completely insane' sort of way. "Oh wait, maybe it wasn't magic! And by some coincidence her soul decided to enter my body! That makes perfect sense!" Her expression was that of mocking, before suddenly going dark once more. "Give me a break. You really have a sick sense of humor." She threw the crumpled up note in her hand onto the ground, turning on her heels almost with a snap and heading back towards the Apartment building.

He rolled his eyes, wondering why he was even trying with her now. She didn't believe him with what he was saying, and he had to admit it sounded crazy even to him. He crossed his arms as she continued to mock him, about to just give up and walk away himself. If this really was Rose, something has to make her remember, but he wasn't sure what to say. He sighed as she turned and headed back to the apartment building. Without even knowing it himself, he went from being behind her to in front of her, leaning against the wall as he watched her head towards the door.
"Have you ever wondered how you survived that ? Why things blow up when you get angry? Why I look familiar to you even though we've never met before?"
He was hoping those words would get her attention. He felt like one of those movie characters where a young boy didn't believe he was a wizard until a giant hairy guy pointed things out to him. Granted he wasn't big and hairy, and the person he was talking to, in fact, he just realized that he had ran from behind her to in front of her within a few seconds. He couldn't help but wonder if this meant his own powers were coming back.

Lily stopped the moment he appeared in front of her, leaning against the wall as if he'd been there the whole time. Only she was absolutely positive he hadn't been there before.
"What, you're asking me how Doctors revive patients? If your that curious go ask them yourself." She paused for a moment, still glaring. "Why do you even care anyway? Because I was in an accident the same time your little girlfriend died it automatically makes me her? You do realize people die all the time, and people are revived all the time. So why don't you go bug one of them and leave me alone?"
The last parts though made her stop short. Sure, the blowing up things wasn't... well that much of a secret. People knew weird things happened when she was angry... But they were just coincidences! "That's just a coincidence. You really things things just blow up because I'm mad? Well I'm mad now and nothing's blowing up!" Yet....
The last part though.... How he knew that... It both irked and shook her. Why did he know that he looked familiar to her? Scowling, she shrugged dramatically. "Maybe you just have one of those faces? Seriously, you're not all that unique looking. I'm sure I've met loads of guys who look kind of like you."

"Yeah they revive people, but do people come up with memories of others they don't even know when they wake up?"
He smirked a little, knowing he had gotten her with his questions. Why else would she be standing there and not walking back inside. He pushed off the wall and just stood there, looking around when she said that she was mad and nothing was blowing up.
"Yeah you're mad, but I mean mad. The kind of mad that happens when someone you care about is in trouble, or when you're so mad you're near the point of just breaking down."
He couldn't help the small laugh that happened when she tried to compare him to other guys, even scowling at him. It's true he wasn't that unique looking, but he was beginning to see that he was getting to her. Whether in a good way or bad was yet to be seen.
"What about food and music? Ever start hating things you use to like or liking things you use to ? Why weren't you the least bit surprised when I went from being behind you to in front of you in a second." he gave her a wink then, "Usually I'm at least asked the popular "how did you do that" question?"
