Jubilee pulled her lips into her mouth to keep from correcting him. It was a bad habit, she knew, but one that she was not worried about breaking.
"So...I have a danger room session I should probably get to. I'll talk to you later, I guess."
She smiled at April and waved. "I'll talk to you later, Flashy Lady." Jubilee dug into her pockets for another piece of candy and popped it into her mouth before proceeding back towards the mansion to make it to the dangerroom early, as she always did, with the exception of a day that mother nature got the best of her, but she was keen to forget that day.

Matthew shook his head and turned to Flash who has been quiet throughout the whole interaction with "The Queen Of Fireworks" Jubilation Lee. "Are you alright Flash?" He smiled and raised his hand in response for a high five.

April had only remained silent for one reason, to see what happened. No interruptions, no expression changes, nothing to attract attention back to herself while the two students conversed. At first, she'd been wary that one of the two might try something to cause physical harm to the other, with the way the conversation had been going, but finally relaxed when both students finally exchanged names, powers, and the lot. Only when Jubilee started to leave did April slowly nod, a faint smile touching her lips. "If you are late, just tell Heather I held you up."
She wasn't sure if the excuse would work, if only because Heather was sort of... unpredictable at time, but she shook the thoughts off, finally returning her attention to Matthew. "Oh I'm fine. Just didn't want to interrupt is all. I wanted to see what would happen, because with Jubilee there isn't to much middle ground. You either like her or hate her." You could probably blame her unique personality for that.

Matthew clenched both of his fists, the spikes came out as such. He stared down at them for a second then looked up at April. "I think i have figured out what the red is" Matthew unclenched his fists. "I think it is blood" He scratched his chin.

April crossed her arms as she took several steps towards him once more, suddenly growing very serious. "If that's true then, you are going to have to be very careful. There's no doubt that if it's blood, it's you're blood. And you don't want to kill yourself from blood loss." She paused. "You're going to want to see Hazel or Hank to verify it though, and how much blood is lost with each one. Then Professor Xavier to see if it's possible to stop the affect." Pausing once more, she had to think, trying to make sense of why she was telling him this. "We learn control here, but we do not want students risking their lives if they have a particularly lethal power. You will have to take precautions until you can see one of the doctors, and even then, they may give you special instructions of how to make sure you don't over do it."

Matthew nodded all the way through her explanation. "Thing is" He unclenched his fists. "Look at my hands" There were no puncture marks from the spikes. "With no puncture marks, it makes me think" He took a pause. "It may actually be crystallized blood"

April had to stop and think about what he said about no puncture marks and it being crystallized. If he were right, did that also mean that his body was producing more blood then others? He didn't seem that all dizzy from having used his power several times already. "We're going to want to have Hazel or Hank take a look then, they'll know for sure." She paused for a moment. "Though I'm not to sure where they are. If I had to guess though, they're probably off putting their skills to use." Also known as - bandaging up the poor students that had got themselves banged around in a training exercise.
