Matthew nodded as she spoke, then she said about his family.
"I entered the school without telling them" He sighed.
"My Parents don't want me" Matthew yawned.
"So where the hell do i go now?"

"Ah." April almost hesitated, as if trying to figure out what to say to such a comment. "Well, you aren't the only student here in that kind of situation." Only when he changed the subject did she lose her hesitant, happy for the change. "Well, now is the time you work on you're control. But first, we need to figure out what exactly you can do with your power so we can put you on the right level."

"Fine so how do we do that" He clenched his fists and the Red spikes shot out.
"I am ready" Matthew smiled and and rotated his shoulders.
"By the way, thank you for helping me through the school so far, it has been hard for me..."

"Hmmmmmm...." April had to think for a moment. "Well, why not tell me first what you can do with the spikes? Are they stationary? Or are you capable of firing them in some way?" She had on idea to how to train him, but whether he would be willing to do it was an entirely different story.
She smiled softly when he thanked her, shrugging. "It's still you're first day, you shouldn't be thanking me yet. But believe me, soon you'll probably be cursing me for all this."

Matthew coughed slightly.
"i am not sure of the extent of the spikes but i will try" Matthew faced away from Flash and pulled his right arm across his body, he then swung it quickly away from him. The Red Spikes dislodged from his right hand into the wall and the spikes flew into them.
"Well...there's your answer" He unclenched his hands and faced Flash. Matthew begun smiling like a cheshire cat.

Jubilee wandered around the courtyard aimlessly, sucking on a jollyrancher when a very blue head caught her attention. It seemed that April had found a friend. She smiled at this and advanced towards them, figuring she had nothing better to do so why not.
"Found some new meat, April?" Jubilee asked once she was within earshot of them, looking Matthew up and down. "Make sure you leave some beating left for me." she teased.

Matthew clenched his fists again and a scowl crawled across his face.
"Who are you?" He said quite sternly.
"And you will not be fighting me" Matthew coughed but blew it into Jubilation's face.
"You can go now"

She arched a brow at him and turned her head away when he coughed. What the hell was his problem? He wasn't taking her seriously, was he?
"It seems that you've never heard of a little thing called sarcasm." Jubilee retorted. "And don't cough in people's faces. It's very impolite. If you're itching to have your ass whipped then I can have that arrange."
She glared at him and balled her fingers together, forming a fist, which concealed the 'fireworks' that had begun to form in her palms. Jubilee smirked. "Has anyone ever told you that you have terrible manners?"

Matthew raised his hand and flicked out his middle finger, which still was covered in spikes.
"Has anyone told you that i don't give a" He took a pause.
"Dogs dangly bits" Matthew smiled and put his hand down.
"I was only joking, I'm Matthew Gray and you are" He coughed but covered his mouth this time.
"Sorry about that cough, that was rude"

She arched a brow at this before smirking.
"That's...special, I suppose."
"I'm Jubilation Lee, the mistress of fireworks." she exclaimed, extending her hand and opening her fingers, revealing the colorful globe that sparked there. "Everyone calls me Jubilee though."
She closed her hand and the 'firework seeped back into her skin.

Matthew did a small bow with a twist of his hand.
"And I am Matthew Gray, the master of...of" He took a pause.
"Spikey things?" He shrugged and laughed.
"Whatever, it's nice to see someone else"
Matthew coughed again and covered his mouth.
"Call me Valentine, it's a code name, and it's crap" Matthew laughed again.

"Are you in Paragon?" The only reason she asked was because she knew hardly anyone in the group with her.
She smirked. "Valentine? What, are you some sort of Romeo or something?"
Jubilee cocked her head onto her shoulder. "Are you sick or something?"

"First Question" Matthew raised his right index finger.
"No" He raised his right middle finger.
"Second Question" Matt took another pause.
"Yes" He then raised his right ring finger.
"Third and final question" Matthew smiled.
"Yes I am, sick in the head" He let out a stereotypical evil genius laugh.
"No i joke, why would you ask?"

She laughed and shook her head. "Alright, no Romeo then do you massacre people?"
Jubilee couldn't help but laugh. "I think we're all sick in the head to some extent. it makes life interesting."
"Um...you've coughed about five times in the last minute and a half. Normally that means you're sick."
