Rory paused for a moment when she asked if she should be worried, "Eh... Only if we start to lose." Because Rory was only going to use them if they did start to lose. Though, no one said they were going to be getting in a fight, it was always better to be prepared for one than to not be prepared. "Aren't I always careful?.... Don't answer that." He said with a shake of his head, and continued walking.
Rory pulled out a gun and held it with his flashlight as he walked. If any shadow so much as moved, it was going to be shot. "Aye..." Was all Rory said, he didn't want to be talking too much right now after all. Finally the reached the large doorway where the light was coming from. Rory stopped just at the edge of the shadows before the light, holding out a hand to tell Freya to stop.
From what he could see the room was massive, solid concrete, had several more tunnels branching off in all directions and a massive pillar in the middle of the room. Around the pillar, leading up as high as Rory could see were metal walkways filled with old computers and the higher up it went, the darker it was, and didn't look like it was used. At the bottom, on the level they were standing on, there were new computers and systems lining every wall. If Rory didn't know any better this looked like an old Russian satellite relay station. He turned back to Freya, "I don't see anyone... But this feels like a trap... I suppose we have to go in." He said very quietly, he didn't mind walking into traps. After all, if you sprang a trap you would immediately know where your enemies were, and could turn the tables on them... In theory...

It seemed like the closer they were to the room, the quieter they both got. It was nerve wracking, not knowing what was waiting for you at the end, not sure what would happen. Walking into the lions den...
She stopped right when she saw his hand move to stop her, leaning forward a little to try and see what was in the room. "Yeah. A place like this is never deserted. Why would they leave it unguarded?" Great, they were walking into a trap, but... They wouldn't get anywhere if they just stayed here and avoided the trap all together. They needed at information! "Well, at least we know it's a trap, that's better then not." She looked at him, smiling slightly, though obviously forced.

Rory didn't answer her right away, but did nod. She was right, people didn't leave places like this, with several hundred thousand dollars worth of equipment, deserted. Not to mention the only places that didn't look used was high up on the pillar in the center. "Yeah... And if we spring it, they have to come out. We'll just have to use it to our advantage." He spoke barely above a whisper, turning back to Freya.
He didn't like letting her into a situation like this, where she could be hurt or worse. Though he knew there was no stopping her. He slowly lowered his gun and leaned into her, pressing his lips softly against hers. After a few moments he pulled back, "Don't hesitate to run if we get overwhelmed." His voice and face were completely serious, and almost seemed to threaten her against not doing what he said. "And stick to the shadows... I'll bring them out." With one last kiss, that lasted longer than he meant it to. He stepped into the light and into the room.

Freya just nodded. If they knew it was a trap, they could spend more time figuring out where the people were rather then what to do. But now she was trying to figure it out. How did these people know Freya and Rory were coming? How did they know to have a trap ready and waiting? She just couldn't figure it out. Had the snitch told them? No... He had been turning these people in! A few moments passed and she shook the thoughts away. It really wasn't time to worry about something like that!
It was rather interesting that they were stealing kisses before heading off to spring the trap. She just leaned into the kiss, softly returning it. "We won't get overwhelmed, I promise that." She smiled softly. She wasn't going to let them get the upper hand with her and Rory. Still though, he'd sounded so serious...
She would have responded to his last comment before he stepped out of the shadows, instead she just nodded. She'd be watching, waiting and ready to make sure he'd be alright. When they were out in the open though...

As Rory stepped out of the hallway, he walked over to some of the computers against the wall. Though he wanted to see what was on the other side of the massive pillar, he resisted because he didn't want to get out of Freya's view. SUddenly, before he could read what was on the computer he heard foot steps from one of the halls.
Slowly a man came into view, dressed very ordinary, and stopped when he saw Rory, "Oh... You're finally here? We were wondering when you'd arrive... Where's your friend?... Oh well, I'm sure they'll show themselves soon enough." He turned back toward the hall and shouted, "[coloer=blue]Bonemeal! They're here![/color]" The hallway was immediately filled with sound of... High heels? A woman shortly stepped out of the darkness. Tall, hourglass figure, blonde hair and blue eyes and far more attractive than she had looked in the picture.
She was wearing a black satin dress that left... Very little to the imagination. Rory noticably froze when she came out, and not out of fear or in a combat stance. "They didn't say he'd be so handsome..." Rory simply stood there staring at her, "Uhhh..." He said hesitently, what was a person say to that? Weren't they supposed to be trying to kill him? Should he just shoot them anyways? These questions were the reason he was froze now, not the woman, despite what it looked like.

Freya watched Rory carefully from the shadows as one of the targets moved to meet Rory. She just about stepped out of the shadows then. Her eyes were wide though. How had he known she was here? Had they really been set up?! It was starting to seem like it...
Of course, as soon as the woman came out, Freya had to force herself not to move. Her irritation started to grow though. Rory's reaction.... She did not like that at all! Her eyes narrowed as she watched, carefully reaching out to warm Rory's body up enough that he remembered she was still watching the entire exchange...

Rory slipped his gun in his holster, he didn't want to start a fight yet, especially if they were just talking."I'm just a lonely traveler who has lost his way.... I don't suppose ye have any maps." Rory said sarcastically, looking away from the woman. Suddenly he felt it starting to get hot in the room... No, it was just him... Freya. He glanced at the shadows and narrowed his eyes slightly, as if trying to tell her to stop. Of course he hadn't forgot her, did she really think this hooker woman could amount to her?
When Rory turned back, however, the woman was walking toward him, "A map, to look for what?" The woman asked seductively, coming closer and closer to Rory, "A man... I'm looking to find a man named Cain." Rory said honestly, hoping, to get a reaction from them. He glanced at the shadows where Freya was again. This lady was going to get him killed! Suddenly the woman was practically touching him, "I don't know a Cain... But you can have me if you want."
The woman moved to touch Rory but as she leaned into him she stopped suddenly, feeling a gun pressed against her stomach, though Rory knew Freya couldn't see the gun... "If ye don't back off... Yer gonna die, lass." He said in almost a whisper, with a devious grin. "You would kill me?" The woman asked in a sweet voice, "Ain't me ye need to worry about." It was obvious they weren't going to just answer his questions, so it was time to make them hurt a little, then they would answer...

Even with that glare of Rory's, as if telling her to stop. Disgruntled, she let his body temperature return to normal, but it didn't make her happy, especially with how close the woman was getting. Wait, why was she getting so jealous?! Rory wouldn't do anything! She knew that, so why?
The woman was far to close now. Freya's eyes were narrowed, taking her entire will to stop from going out there right now and roasting her. She might not be raising his body temperature anymore, but it seemed like the air was starting to get hot now. Why was Rory letting the woman get so close..? Why wasn't he pushing her away?!
Finally... Freya's anger finally got the better of her. From the shadows her eyes started to go lava red, which didn't exactly keep her all that hidden with the slight glow they gave off. Suddenly, the woman would feel like her body was on fire as Freya heated the woman's body to a dangerous temperature. That wasn't all she did though... Flames leaped into existence around the woman, encircling her.

Rory was getting really irritated and was just about to shove the woman away when the she stepped away from him and held herself as if in pain. Then suddenly, flames burst up around her and nearly got Rory. He had to jump back to get away from her in time, and immediately looked at Freya who did NOT look happy. "Oi! What was that?! Ye nearly got me!" Rory said, waving his gun around in anger as he spoke.
Then suddenly, there was a strange noise behind him, as if rock was hitting rock. The fire around the woman had been extinguished by a large pile of rocks and the man who had been standing behind her, was in front of her. Except he know longer looked like a man. He had grown roughly ten feet and his body was made up of what looked like a massive amount of dirt, almost looking like a mud man and it was just staring at Freya.
Behind him the woman walked out, "I'll take the cute one." The woman said seductively at Rory, then bones seemed to explode from every pore of her body. The skin melting off of her and she too began to grow, but started hunching over like an animal. As the skin melted away to reveal the bone beneath, all her bones seemed to stretch.
Long spikes protruded as fingers and her skull lengenthed like dog, with massive rows of sharp teeth coming out. By the time she had completely turned she looked like some sort of deformed, nightmarish, bone creature. Bits of skin were still handing from some of her bones and most of the hair had fallen of her head. Rory turned to Freya, "I'll take the cute one." He said with a grin, pointing at the hideous creature in front of him. Then suddenly, a massive piece of concrete was flying at him and Freya.

Freya slowly stepped out, looking just as furious as before, her arms folded against her chest. "Yeah, but I didn't..." She wasn't to happy with the woman for flirting with Rory, or Rory for letting her flirt with him. But she couldn't keep her anger on them for to long, because suddenly the man had become a giant of... mud? Gross.
A look of disgust crossed her expression as she slowly walked to Rory's side, though still wasn't happy with him. Well, her anger vanished a little when the woman turned into a hideous beast as well. "I can't believe you let something like that flirt with you." She sighed. "Yeah, sure. Leave the Mud monster to me. Thanks."
She would have said something else, but concrete was suddenly flying towards them. Holding out her hands waves of fire erupted from her palms to meet the heavy material, attempting to slow it down as she stepped out of the way. "You better move...." Concrete was an annoying material when you were a pyromancer, it was near impossible to affect after all.

Rory didn't get it, why was Freya mad at Rory?! He had barely even talked to the woman in the red dress. If Freya hadn't stepped out, Rory was just about to blow a hole in the girls chest the size of a baseball. Not to mention the fact that the girl hadn't even seduced Rory, in fact, all she did was make him annoyed. He shook his head slightly, once again Freya was making him confused. Then everything was made clear when Freya spoke again.
"Let her flirt with me?!?" Rory said a bit shocked, so this was what it was about? "Freya, I had my gun pressed against her!" He said a bit angrily, annoyed that Freya was even mad at him. Though Rory did understand a bit, if a guy flirted with her he would probably rip his arms off. "Well if you want the freak just say so." Rory said, glancing at the bone monster, who was dragging it's claws along the ground, and cutting deep into it.
When the concrete came flying at them, Rory jumped out of the way with Freya, "I mean, aye, she was somewhat attractive... But she was nothing compared to you." Rory admitted, which he immediately realized he shouldn't have, realizing what he said would probably just make her more angry. Then, another massive piece of concrete was flying at them. Before Rory could move though, the bone monster had tackled Rory to the ground and was about to slam it's claws down into him. He managed to slip out a knife in time, and cut off it's hand... Which immediately grew back... Great, she could heal.

Freya stared blankly at Rory, as if unsure what to think anymore. Should she believe him when he said he had been just about to kill her? Still though.... He was the one who'd let her get that close. She didn't want other women getting that close to Rory! It was obvious though how jealous she'd gotten over it.
"Oh, now you want to switch. I don't think so." She rolled her eyes, his next comment though just about made her freeze. Rory said what?! Now she was really annoyed with him, so much for her being overly happy with him today... She muttered something in french, obviously not meant to be understood, and obviously not something you would want to understand. It was probably the first time she'd gotten so annoyed with him that she started muttering in her native language.
Before she could do anything to him though, more concrete was being thrown at her. Glaring she stepped out of the way, slowing it with fire once again. She'd just have to settle with beating up this mud man... Fire started to build up around, whipping around her like vines, before gathering into a giant ball, firing at the mud man, hoping to incinerate him.

"I picked her... Because she looked tougher!" Rory yelled, explaining why he had chosen the bone lady in the first place. It made sense now why the man had called her bonemeal earlier. Though, he had picked her because she looked like she could hurt Freya more. Now he knew she could with the fact that the bone creatre had no organs, or real body, and healed within seconds... Come to think of it, how was he going to kill it?!
Rory was fighting off the creatures hands, but it's head kept leaning in farther and farther, snapping within inches of his face. Rory gritted his teeth, almost growling, and started to push the creature off of him. The thing was far faster, and apparently far more lethal, than Rory but he was stronger. He finally pushed it off enough to kick it away. Then jumped up as it started charging him again. Grabbing the side of it's head, he jerked it to the ground, shattering it's skull. At which point the monster seemed to go limp.
The mud man was just ripping up another piece of concrete when the fireball hit it. Mud sprayed everywhere and the creature hit the ground, seemingly dissolving into the floor. Rory walked over by Freya, still pretty upset with her for not trusting him, "Oh nice, ya killed the only one left alive. Now what are we supposed to find ou-" Before he could finish the bone creature tackled him from behind, causing him to slide across the concrete floor until he slammed into the pillar in the middle of the room. It's head was completely healed and once again it was trying to claw him.
Bigger problems came though, the entire ground started to rumble until part of it just in front of Freya burst out of the ground. It was the "mud man" again, except now he was made entirely out of the concrete floor he jumped out of. Being so much taller than Freya, he simply took a step forward and tried to bring his concrete fist down on top of her.

Freya knew she should just trust Rory and get over her jealousy, but for some reason she couldn't. It didn't help that this was the worst possible time to be jealous like this. They should be concentrating on getting these two down, rather then argue with each other! To try and prove that, she didn't respond, just waited.
Was it really that easy? One blast and the mud man was dead? It was far to easy. To simple...
The ground at her feet started to rumble, as if an earthquake were going on. Then, it split open, a part of the cement ripping away from the rest. At first, she thought it was only a chunk of the concrete being thrown again. How wrong she was. Stumbling back, her eyes almost widened when she saw the mud man no longer being made of mud... a concrete fist crashing down on her.
Almost gasping she leaped out of the way, barely missing the blunt of the blow, but knocked clean off her feet and sent rolling from the impact. With a groan she rolled back to her feet. Well that hurt! Maybe she should have accepted that trade! If fire wasn't going to work on him.. what about lightning? The air cracked around her, lightning gathering at her finger tips right before streaking off at the now 'stone' man.

Nothing had been easy about this so far, for Rory at least. He could even get out a weapon to try and shoot this thing, it could heal in seconds, and didn't have any organs that Rory could see. Not to mention just a moment ago he had nearly destroyed it's skull, and it was just back for more. He was expertly trained to find a mutants weakness in just a few moments, but this was testing him.
Rory finally managed to kick the thing off of him again, and laying on his back pulled out two desert eagles, his favorite guns; then began unloading. Each shot echoed throughout the room like thunder, and each shot exploded pieces of bone on the creature; causing it back peddle away from Rory finally.
On the other side of the room, the concrete giant was annoyed that he hadn't been able to crush Freya. Turning to try and punch her again but suddenly the entire right side of it's body exploded, it's right arm missing. The golem slammed it's remaining hand into the ground and suddenly the arm began to re-form, as if it was drawing from the concrete at it's feet. Now it was mad.
Raising it's hands high above it's head, it pulled them into fists and slammed them against the ground. The entire room seemed to shake and line of concrete spikes began to travel from the golems fist toward Freya. The beast couldn't move fast, but it didn't need to, causing spikes to burst out of the ground moving toward Freya in an attempt to impale her.
