David had wandered into the crowd, partly to mix in with everybody and partly to find himself someone to chat with whether it was a friend, someone who might need company, or even the professor himself. He saw a leading another to a chair and just shook his head, glad he didn't know who ever she was, or so he thought as he mingled in with the crowd, spotting a few people he knew.
Ian, on the other hand, wasn't as luck as David. He stood there by table, doing his best to keep out of the way of everyone. He to saw the being seated by one of her friends, and then she got up and began stumbling towards the snack table. The same table where he was standing at now. He gave an inward groan as he turned towards the table, acting like he was looking around as he silently hoped she would come and go without too much interaction.

Melinda and Krissy found Ayden again and tried to drag her away from the room again, but she wasn’t going to go without a fight.
“Ya’ll should leave me alone. I’m hungry and I need some food in my stomach.”
Her roommates weren’t willing to let her make a drunken fool out of herself. Melinda, who was a lot stronger than she looked, dragged Ayden over to a tall student dressed as a zombie and tapped on his shoulder.
”Hey, I’m so sorry to bother you, but would you mind taking care of my vampire friend? She was apparently way too excited to come here. Great, thanks.”
Melinda hadn’t even given David a chance to give an answer before shoving Ayden into his arms. Ayden pushed herself out of his grasp and stumbled forward.
“Miranda, you bitch” she screamed before collapsing onto the ground.

"Huh? What?"
He didn't know what was happening, his voice muffled by the mangled zombie mask he was wearing. He turned and saw some s practically shoving her drunken friend into him. He didn't know what to do, having never been put in this situation before. He watched her shout to her friend then collapse to the floor. Lifting up his mask as some of the students were turning to see what was going on, he walked over to the .
"Hey, you ok?"

Ayden looked up lazily, her mouth slightly hanging open to reveal her fangs. When she saw that the zombie was David she looked slightly...terrified. Then he asked if she was alright.
"I am not drunk!"
She got onto her knees and somehow managed to get on her feet, but thanks to booze and stilettos, she stumbled again, only this time she caught herself on David's shoulder and began giggling again.
"Miranda and Krissy told me the party was at a rich dude's house." she laughed again. "This is a school!" In her drunken state she found this to be hilarious.

"I never asked if you were drunk."
Though he could definitely tell that she was, only she was hiding it and pretty badly from what he saw. When he helped her up and she leaned into him, he felt more then just a little uncomfortable. He began leading her towards a chair against the far wall. His plan, to set her in the chair, tell her he'll be right back, and disappear. He really didn't feel like dealing with someone who was pretty plastered.
"Yeah, it's a school, and school's have parties to."

“You didn’t?”
She paused and thought for a moment before laughing hysterically again. She hadn’t gotten this drunk before ever.
“Oh.” was all she said. Ayden may have been drunk, but she still had a slight grasp of reality. “David, why are you dead? You’re not going to eat my brains are you?”
It was then that she noticed where they were going.
“David, I don’t need to sit down. I was born in Louisiana. Us southern girls can hold our liquor.” she paused and laughed again. “You didn’t know I was from Louisiana did you? Everyone thinks you’re so much more interesting when you tell them your from California. It’s not a total lie though. I lived there about a year before I ran away from home. Can I have a hug?”

He shook his head as she began laughing. This was really acting weird even if she said she wasn't drunk. What he didn't gather is how she knew his name, he didn't really introduce himself to her. When she turned and faced him, it was then he realized who it was. Under the skimpy clothes, the fangs, the ruffled hair, it was his friend, Ayden. At least...he thought they were still dating, after the fight they had he was sure she wanted nothing to do with him.
"Ayden? How did you...what are you..."
It was then he began to put everything together. The and ed waitress with the same accent and same tone, the way she walked past him, smiling as she did, and the guy coming up with the comment that made no sense before David knocked him out. It was all her doing, and now here she was, asking him for a hug. He smiled, putting his arms around her and holding her close to him.
"I'm being a zombie for halloween. I take it you're a vampire huh?" he gave her a small squeeze, "I've...really missed you."

“How did I…get here? We took a cab! And I a vampire!” she started laughing hysterically again.
When he hugged her, she listened to his explanation and shook her head.
“I know. You’re dead. If you eat my brains I don’t think you’ll get my telepfahy so I wouldn’t do it. Why did you die anyway? You did get yourself killed chasing after that Cain guy did you? Wait! If you’re dead, and you’re here, then I’m dead.” Her eye grew wide in sudden terror. “Holy shit, how am I dead! Did someone poison my drink or something? I don’t wanna be dead! There’s so much I haven’t done!”
Then…the nausea came. She clamped a hand over her mouth quickly and tore away from him, dashing back out into the hall and burying her head in the nearest garbage can, heaving quite a few times before clinging to the sides of the garbage, shaking slightly. However, once she thought she was done, more came. Her powers were already starting to come back and she could hear muffled thoughts of her observers. She stopped vomiting for just long enough to stand up straight and yell at them.
“Stop lookin’ at me and get the hell back into the party before I rip your eyes out!”
The younger students listened and left just in time for her to bend back into the garbage again.

Did she really think he was ? She must be drunk. He sighed and placed a hand against his forehead as she pushed away and ran out the door. He made sure to put his mask back on, not in the least ready to have others looking at him. That and he wanted to hide the redness that was now growing on his face, wondering if this day was going to get better anytime soon.
He walked out into the hall and leaned against the wall across from Ayden. He crossed his arms and lifted up his mask once more. She was looking pale enough to be a vampire, and for someone who claimed she could hold her liquor, it seemed the garbage can was doing more of the holding then she was.
"I'm not Ayden, it's a costume."

She finally stopped puking just as David came out into the hall. She stood up straight and wiped her mouth with the back of her and before leaning against the wall before sitting down on the floor.
“Is all the stuff in my room still here? I could really use a toothbrush.”
Ayden glanced up at him before moaning and looking away, covering her face with her hands.
“You don’t have to be here. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to vomit out half a bottle of vodka. In my defense I really can hold it if I take the shots in moderation instead of chugging the whole stupid bottle.”
She swallowed a lump in her throat and stood up again, collecting the edges of the garbage bag and tying them together. She wasn’t very keen on letting someone else clean up her vomit.

"Yeah it's still there, and Faolan hadn't really left the room since you've been gone."
He didn't really say much else, just watched her compose herself and helped her with the bag of garbage. It's true he didn't have to be there with her, but he would feel like a real jerk just leaving her there after he had just found her. It would've been a waist of time to leave her after all the time that day he'd been looking for her.
"Here, I'll help you out."
He helped her take out the bag, then reached in where another bag was folded at the bottom, placing it around the edges before walking with her down the hall. He could smell the garbage and the mixture of vodka and food, and he couldn't help but be glad that he wasn't a drinker.

She looked down, feeling even more guilty now.
“He knew that I was leaving. I don’t know why he would still be in my room.”
Ayden knew that David was just trying to help, but she was too stubborn to let him handle her vomit bag. When he tried to help her with the bag, she yanked it out of his reach.
“Don’t take it personal. I just don’t want it to make a mess on you if the bag rips or somethin’.”
She was about to leave when she stopped herself.
“Why were you at Merlotte’s tonight?”

"He just stayed there, even when Anya or I fed him dinner. He didn't even go on walks much."
He remembered the many times both he and Anya had to practically force the young pup outside to get some exercise. As soon as they returned, though, he would head straight to Ayden's room and not come out. When she yanked the bag away from him, he rolled his eyes and sighed, figuring that somethings wouldn't change. He then looked at her when she asked him about where he was and why.
"Well I was spending a good portion of the day looking around. I got hungry and went there to get something to eat. What were you doing there?"

Ayden looked down when David rolled his eyes. She had a feeling that he was annoyed by her. When he turned the question around on her, she smiled.
“I work there. Granted, I’m not old enough to work at a bar, but thanks to a fake ID and a bunch of southerners they sort of let it slide.”
Her stomach rumbled again and she was tackled by a mass of fur and slobber. It wasn’t that she wasn’t happy to see Faolan, it was just that her stomach was still tender. She rolled over onto her stomach and slapped the ground violently.
“Come on, Ayd, keep it in.”

He had to hand it to Ayden, she knew how to keep herself hidden from view. He couldn't believe he didn't put it all together once he had left the bar, looking back it was so simple. When they opened the door, Ayden was suddenly attacked by a giant ball of fur with paws and a tongue. He gave a half smile, trying not to laugh at the site.
"Come on boy, she's a bit sick right now."
He grunted a bit, pulling the slobbering pup off of Ayden, which was becoming a bit of a hassle with it's size now. Thankfully David was able to overpower it and get it settled down to the point where Ayden wouldn't have to worry about it attacking her. He thought about helping her up, but decided she would more then likely swat his hand away with that idea to.
