*It was a perfect day for a swim. Tori had woken up late and had to get lunch before she went out for a swim. But now she was here in her pink and black bikini that she had baught in Hawaii her last visit. She almost had more swimsuits than normal cloths. She had jumped into the perfect tempature pool and started to swim laps.*
*She knew that it was very important to stay hydrated so after a few laps she hoped out of the pool. There was a bag next to a lawn chair and a small side table. She grabed the water bottle on the table and guzled half of it down. She took a deep breathe, this was a perfect day. Nothing could make this day go bad. She looked around, spoting students up to their own business and smiled. She remembered when she was their age and had homework and training to do. She still had training but hse had more time to relax and swim. She had even thought about taking surfing lessons and going on a vacation to her home town.*

Anya had nothing else better to do, and it was so hot outside. She grabbed her bikini and slipped in on, then headed out with her towel to the pool. She was surprised to see someone else there. Usually it was empty. But she supposed it wasn't so surprising because of the temperature outside.
"Hello," she said once the girl took a break from swimming laps. "You're a really good swimmer," she said as she slipped into the pool. Anya was a decent swimmer, probably better than average even if she was too humble to admit it, but even she wasn't as good at this girl seemed to be.

*Tori smiled at the girl. She was a paragon, at least as far as what she could tell.*
Well I ought to be a good swimmer. It's part of my power. Plus some people think I spend to much time in water.
*This was true, Tori was pretty much a fish, when she wanted to be. After taking a few more sips of water Tori took off her towel and slipped into the pool as well.*

Anya still smiled, "I wish my power had something to do with water. I guess not all of us can be so lucky," she dunked her head under the water and came back up when she reached the under end of the pool. Anya wasn't the fasted swimmer, but she sure had strong lungs. She'd held her breath for five minutes before coming up once or twice.
Then she added, commenting on the second part of what she'd said, "And I don't think you can ever spend too much time in the water." She hesitated then, realizing she hadn't introduced herself. "I'm Anya, by the way."

*Tori was glad that she gave her name. She had herd Heather mentioning that name before.*

*She dunked her head under for a second, just to re-wet her hair.*

Anya nodded. She wasn't that surprised that Tori already knew she was a Paragon. Heather wasn't all the secretive about it. And Anya recognized the name Tori, too. She remembered someone saying that Tori had water related powers. That would explain the great swimming.
"You're an X-man, aren't you?" she smiled, realizing she'd taken the same exact sentence that Tori had said.

*Tori smiled, she could tell that she was right and she wasn't the least bit shocked when Anya asked if she was an X-man.*
This is ture. I am and X-man.
*She wanted to go on about how "amazing her powers where" but she wouldn't be sure if Anya would know that she was joking.*

Anya thought about that for a while, dunking her head under so her hair would even out some. She was part of the Paragon, yes, but she never thought she'd actually be a very good X-man. Her powers weren't exactly useful in a fight...
"Lucky. I don't think I ever will be," Anya admitted as she came back up to the surface. "My powers are only good for detective work. Yours, however, are probably awesome and make you almost invincible. That's how most of the other X-men seem," she admitted with a small smile.

*Tori shooke her head.*
I'm not invincible. Or even almost invincible.
*She then looked at some water and it lifted up in a ball, It floated over to them and it placed itself into her hand.*
I can control water, also I can become fish like and talk to fish.

Anya watched with a huge smile on her face when the water lifted itself out of the water and levitated over to her. "I wish I could do something like that. So, so very badly," Anya admitted. "But all I do is touch things."
It was true. That was all her power was. Touch and info, touch and info, and it's not like she could control it very well. She either ignored it or she didn't. Simple as that and nothing else she could do about it.

*Tori slowly put her hand back in the water, then the water ball just blended in with the normal water.*
Everyone's power is different and special.
*She had to learn that with her other power. She didn't think it could be used for anything.*

"Yeah, I know," Anya admitted. "Sometimes I amaze myself..."
She'd used her power to help many people. Including a few of the students. And if nothing else, she'd make a great counselor for the students if there was ever a need for one. Physical contact with anything gave information to Anya that most people didn't know existed. Just the fact that she could take in and remember every single detail of it all amazed her more than anything.

At least you know that, just remember. My second power, I thought was useless.
*She then ducked under and held her breath for only a minute then she came back up. While under water Tori Opened her eyes and looked around, for some reason she loved to do that. Once up she smiled at Anya. She had never met her if Tori wasn't at the pool. That made her glad that she came to the pool at this time.*

Anya smiled. When she came back up out of the water she spoke again. "Lucky again. You have two," she pointed out.
She couldn't believe how easy some of the people here had it. Anya not only had just one power, but she had no idea how to control it and she'd probably been here longer than Tori had...
"And you can control yours... Don't ever take that for granted."

Control will come, trust me. It usually does.
*She knew that with lots of practice and devotion it would come. She used to have problems with her second power. Every time she jumped into the pool she would change.*
