"I can control it... somewhat," she said kind of sheepishly.
It was true. She used to pass out a lot because of her abilities, every time she touched something. But now, she's learned to ignore most of it and to someone who didn't know her, wouldn't even suspect she was a mutant. But if you know Anya well, then you'd definitely know because sometimes she gets a glazed look in her eyes. She only gets that when her powers really kick in. But she could control that mostly after all these years of practice.

*Tori smiled at the Anya. She was a nice girl, and would make an excellent X-man when time came. She always thought that she wouldn't be good at it, but never showed her fear. Of course the professor knew of her insecurity so he confronted her about it. She knew that it would be okay then.*
Wow, I'm getting serous. Dang, that's a sign that I'm getting old.
*She then dunked under water and held her breath for about two minutes. She could go longer but she didn't want to make Anya wait.*
