What the hell?! She was glaring at him and he just smiled?! What sort of reaction was that?! Oh… Wait a minute. Maybe giving it away as much as she had had finally let him catch on. He was bound to figure it out sooner or later, after all. Still… He was giving her that mischievous smile of his! Why the hell was he doing that?! Did he think it was funny?! “It’s not fu-“
Gisli froze, Shakaku stepping closer and putting his arms around her. If her face could have blushed even more it would have, instead, that breathe she’d been trying to take only caught in her throat. She really was making a fool of herself! He was treating her like a little sister or something! She was sure of it!
He was leaving then, and she was finally able to take that much needed breathe, but… Why was he leaving? And after saying something like that? She leaned against the doorframe, catching her breathe, a little of the color finally draining from her face. When he stopped though, her throat locked up once more. This time though? It didn’t seem like her chest would unknot. Oh crap….
Without any real warning she dropped, collapsing to the ground. Perhaps remembering to breathe was a good thing. You didn’t accidently faint when you remembered!

*Almost there, almost. Shakaku was almost gone, almost away when he heard something hit the ground. He quckly turned around. It was Gisli, she was on the ground, her body finally going down. Shakaku walked back to Gisli, her body not moving. What should he do? Should he take her to Hazel? Then she was going to blame this all on him. It wasn’t his fault! Well….sort of. But he wasn’t going to leave her there. Or even leave her in her room. With a heavy sigh Shakaku turned to the fainted girl and picked her up. He took her to the infirmary and laid her, genially on one of the beds. He then turned to Hazel, then away, not saying anything. He then walked out.*
*Back in his room he laid down on his bed. He couldn’t sleep now. Not after what happened with Gisli. He had finally admitted to his feelings and solved his problems. It was…dare he say it? All thanks to Freya. If he hadn’t been through Hell and back then he wouldn’t be that exhausted. Then this wouldn’t have happened. With out that, it probably would never happen. He would have to thank her next time he saw her.*

Fainting was embarrassing to begin with. Who in their right mind wouldn’t be embarrassed for fainting right outside their room? Sadly, that wasn’t the only problem Gisli had to deal with. Shakaku was there when it happened! Why was she such an idiot?! What kind of person fainted because they forgot to breathe?! It wasn’t like Gisli had a reputation to keep intact, but still…
She wasn’t out long, only about half an hour or so, and when she woke up? Shit. How did she get to the Infirmary?! Oh God…. Did Shakaku bring her here?! She was really going to hit him now! Why couldn’t he have just put her in her room or something? Suddenly, Gisli flushed, the thought of Shakaku being in her room when she was unconscious… Wait! Why was she suddenly even more embarrassed?! UGH! Stupid girl emotions!
Hazel had been smiling at Gisli the entire time, as if wanting to laugh. There were a few reasons why, or so Gisli thought. The first? Well, she’d fainted from not remembering to breathe! That wasn’t something Hazel or Hank saw everyday! The second? It’d probably been Shakaku to bring her here. That was twice! He’d brought her here twice now! Sure, other people wouldn’t make such a big deal of it, but this was Shakaku they were talking about! Shakaku didn’t bring people to the infirmary! Sure, he beat people up enough that they came here but he never brought them here himself!
As soon as she was given a clean bill of health, Gisli went into hiding. Her room wasn’t safe at the moment. It was getting colder by the day, so less and less students were running about outside. With little hesitation she went to her room only long enough to get a coat, before heading outside.
Gisli glided across the lawns for who knows how long, mind wandering. It was cold enough to see every breath she released, her fingers and ears numb. She didn’t mind much though, just letting herself wander to who knew where…

*Shakaku thought long and hard about the conversation with Gisli. Did she not understand what he really meant? Maybe she thought differently. Well Shakaku wasn’t even sure exactly what he felt. All he wanted to do was hold Gisli in his arms, and have her hold him back. He wanted to be with her. She was probably awake by now. Knowing her she probably would either lock herself in her room or go outside. Since it was getting colder outside Shakaku bet that she would be in. Keeping warm, just like everyone else.*
*Knowing that Shakaku put on a light jacket and headed outside. He didn’t even need the jacket; all he had to do was raise his own body temperature so that he was warm. He could do that perfectly now, thanks to Freya, making him do it over, and over, and over again. Aimlessly walking around the school Shakaku was deep in thought. About Gisli, about his lesson and about Freya. With a heavy sigh, Shakaku found a bench and sat down. The cold stone bench warmed up to a fair temperature with Shakaku’s control. Why couldn’t he just come out and tell Gisli the truth. He had strong feelings for her and didn’t know exactly how to say it. He would dump everything to help her, or to even be with her. Some things would come more naturally than others, but he would try.*
