Gisli smiled a little when he thanked her. “You don’t need to thank me.” She would have done it no matter what. Sure they’d had that dispute right before, but that didn’t means he hated him. Sure her feelings were a bit… well confusing at the moment! But hate wasn’t even remotely near those emotions. What were they though?
“Just get some rest, okay?”
Gisli had completely expected to go crashing onto the ground and probably hurt herself from the impact. Instead? She heard quick movement, followed by a pair of arms wrapping tightly around her and pulled her on top of a body. She knew who it was that had grabbed her, who it had to be, but for some reason she almost couldn’t believe it. It couldn’t have been Shakaku! He was too exhausted to move!
Finally… She dared to look down at the arms around her. Yup… It was Shakaku. Slowly her face started turning red, brighter and brighter by the second. “Y-Yeah… Fine…” Why was she suddenly so embarrassed?! They were friends! This shouldn’t be weird or make her blush or anything! But why… Why was this so different than any other time they’d touched?!

*Shakaku could sense the heat from Gisli. It had risen. What did this mean? A sigh of relief came out of him. Shakaku was glad that she was alright. But he didn't want to let go. Why...why did he want to keep holding Gisli?*
*Furai looked up from her sleeping spot. A loud 'thud' had startled the skittish creature. She looked up and saw her master and that nice girl. They were in a position that she had never seen them in before. The nice girl seemed embarrassed or something. Her master was a little read too. Why was his shirt not on? Why did he look so wet. Had he just taken a shower? The shower was loud and she didn't like it, that was why she always stayed in the room when he did. Anyway a small creature like her needed more sleep, and she was so tired! So Furai curled up in her little ball and when back to sleep.*
*Shakaku could feel his temperature rising a little bit. He wasn't controlling it to. It was just happening. What was this feeling that he felt. It was new to him and not normal...*

It was bad that Shakaku was a pyromancer. He knew when the temperature changed, even just someone’s body temperature. And Gisli’s had obviously risen. Ugh, why was she reacting like this?! Why was she blushing?! What did it all mean?!
A few moments passed and neither of them had moved at all, the whole room falling completely silent… Nothing moved except for something out of the corner of her eyes, probably Furai. The little creature was hibernating in the room after all, the sound of her falling must have woken the small creature.
“I…. uh…. I should get going… And… Let you get some rest….” Her voice had fallen almost a deathly quiet, barely even a whisper. Why was she suddenly feeling even more shy then she’d ever felt around him before? She’d never felt this shy around him in the past! Sure, she wasn’t outspoken around him to begin with, but this was a lot worse than before.
Why couldn’t she move? Or… Wouldn’t was more like it. For some reason she didn’t want to move… Again, some part of her was telling her not to move, to just stay there…

*Shakaku thought about this...what did it mean? Did they like each other? The answer was unsure to Shakaku but he didn't want Gisli to go. He wanted her to stay with him, like this. Hearing the movement Shakaku was sure that it was Furai. "Sorry Furai, I'll make it up to you."*
*Was Gisli embarrassed by this? Maybe she was thinking of him, he was exhausted. She was a really nice girl, and he should remember that. She was good to her friends and Shakaku shouldn't take that for granted. Her voice was different. It seemed quieter, and much like he was scaring her for the first time.*
R...right....
*Shakaku moved his arms from around Gisli and waited for her to stand up. He would get up after she was gone. Did he do anything wrong? Was she going to avoid her like most the other students did? What would he do if she did avoid him. He didn't want that...he wanted to be with Gisli for ever. As friends? Perhaps...perhaps as more. He wasn't sure how it would work out. Plus Gisli wasn't the type that would fall for Japanese bad boy like him. Right?*

So it was Furai that she'd seen. Made sense.... But it wasn't exactly a good thing for her to be woken up like this when she was trying to hibernate, right? Shakaku didn't seem worried though...
But why was she reacting like this?! He was her friend! She shouldn't be turning beat red! She shouldn't be embarrassed or shy! Her breath shouldn't be caught in her chest! And there most certainly shouldn't be that strange fluttering in her stomach!
It wasn't fear. She was dead certain of that. She could never be afraid of Shakaku! But then why was she suddenly so... Well nervous seemed like the best word to use! Why was this situation making her nervous enough that she could barely speak?
Finally his arms had moved completely off of her and, as reluctant as it seemed they both were, she scrambled off of him, her face still beat red. She had to think of something other then what had just happened, had to get her face to return to a normal color. "I thought I told you not to move..." He'd completely dislodged the ice pack when he'd moved to catch her before she fell. Trying to force a sigh, she quickly retrieved the cold bag and held it out for Shakaku to take. So far, this wasn't taking much of the color from her face...
"Is there.... Anything else you need.... before I go?" She was still a nervous wreck.

*Shakaku was still in shock. He didn't know what to do. But then Gisli made her move. She got off of him and spoke. He chuckled, was she trying to get her mind off of what happened?*
Sorry.
*He smiled at her and slightly laughed again. She was kind of cute when she was red. She seemed flustered and not sure what to do. Shakaku stood up and sat back down on his bed. He took the cold pack from her. Then he shook his head. He couldn't ask anything else from her. Plus it looked like Gisli kind of wanted to go. But it was strange how she didn't seem like she wanted to go because she didn't like him, but because of something else.*
No, I'm fine. It's like you said. I just need rest.
*He now had a control of the heat in the room, and it had gotten back to the normal temperature. Training with Freya was a good thing, he learned lots from just those seven hours. But now he seemed to make things more awkward for the two. Great, now she'll probably never talk to him again...*

It was no longer possible for her face to get any redder, the color as bright as her hair. Even taking a few deeps breaths to calm her raging nerves did absolutely nothing to help! Gisli knew what that fluttering in her stomach was now. Sure, she’d never felt it before now, but for some reason she just knew what it was. But… That wasn’t possible! She must have eaten something funky and it was causing her stomach to play tricks on her! It had to be that! She couldn’t have… dare she say it, fallen for Shakaku!
“If you need anything… later… You know where to find me…” That fluttering was still making it near impossible to get out a complete sentence without her voice catching in her throat. And as sad as it was, she only really spent time with him or in her room, so she didn’t have anywhere else to go and relax after this. If he did come looking for her, he’d check her room first, and as fate would have it that would be exactly where she was.
She quickly started to head for the door, stopping only when her fingers were wrapped around the doorknob. “Feel better, okay?” As awkward as things had been, she worried about his health, especially right now. Her face darkened again, regaining the lost color from her calming. She didn’t say anything else, retreating out of the room as quickly as she could.

*Shakaku watched Gisli leaving. He wanted to tell her to stay, to just stay with him. But he couldn't bring himself to say it. Once the door was closed Shakaku let out a deep sigh.*
Stupid, stupid, stipid!
*He then layed on his bed and fell asleep thinking about Gisli. His dream did center around her as well. In this dream someone was taking her away. It was an older man, looked like he could be Gisli's father. But her father was dead. It didn't matter who it was, the fact was that he had Gisli. Shakaku also heard Freya's voice and felt a throb on the back of his head from all the wackes he got. He then used his power and destroyed the one who had her. Gisli was quite glad and they held each other in their arms.*
*That was when Shakaku woke with a start. Why would he dream about Gisli. He had to get that dream out of his head. So he went off to the shower. After getting all that sweat off he got into dry, clean cloths and started to wonder. He found himself in front of Gisli's door. He knocked only once. Almost hoping that she didn't answer.*

Gisli almost ran as she headed for her room, wanting to get out of the halls as fast as possible and avoid other people seeing her in this state. In her room, she just leaned against the door for several moments, one of her hands touching her warm face. Why was she feeling like this?! They were friends, nothing more than that! She shouldn’t be having these feelings! Ever!
She didn’t know how long she sat there with her back against the door, maybe only a few minutes, maybe an hour… Either way, she’d lost track of time. Finally Gisli sighed, shaking her head and rolling to her feet. It couldn’t have happened! She couldn’t have felt that! Maybe she’d just… She was just jumping to conclusions! That had to be it! She was just jumping to conclusions!
Stretching out on her bed she pulled off the first book she saw and flipped it open. She’d read it before, but hopefully it would help keep her mind off of things. Or… Half off things. She’d read the first sentence almost a dozen times when she realized that it wasn’t keeping her busy. With another sigh, she rested her forehead on the open page. Why couldn’t she just forget what happened?!
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, half scaring her out of her haze. She sat up so quickly she didn’t even realize that she’d been right under the shelf… and slammed the back of her head right on the wood. The slam was so loud Shakaku would most definitely hear from the hall, and that only said how hard she’d hit herself, just about knocking herself out from the force. “Damn it….” Gisli held the back of her head with one hand as she climbed down off of her head, opening the door with a half squinted look.
“Shakaku?” She would have been surprised, and maybe blushed from the earlier events that day… If she hadn’t just hit herself.

*Shakaku flinched when he heard the loud noise. Did she just hit her head? She opened the door and he didn't know what to say. There she was, she looked like she hit her head on something, but she still looked beautiful.*
Um....Sorry to bother you...
*That was stupid who says "sorry to bother you" when they were probably doing nothing. Now he was going to look like an idiot along with a jerk. Grr. Everything was so stupid. So freakin' stupid!*
Sorry about earlier, it um...just sort of....of happened.
*Well the truth of the matter was that she slipped, so it was kind of her fault, and his body moved...so it did "sort of happen." Along with that crazy dream...this day was ending up to be terrible. He had a never ending training session with a devil of a woman, Gisli had to help him to his room and then he had that dream. So now Gisli probably thinks he's a loser, with a big image. And Freya things he's a no acount school boy who can't do anything right! This was all happening because of women. Why not just start packing his bags now...*

Gisli normally wasn’t clumsy. In anyway. For some reason though, today she’d been having issues. Ever since she’d helped Shakaku she’d been a trouble magnet, dropping things, tripping, and hitting her head on shelves… Why? Earlier shouldn’t still be affecting her nerves like this!
Wait… Was he…. Apologizing?! Her eyes fully opened, the hand on the back of her head finally dropping. Shakaku almost never apologized! To anyone! Even her! Her expression was one of surprise, covering the pain from hitting her head. “Did you just… apologize…?”
Not just once though. He’d apologized twice in the same conversation! She’d really never heard him do that! “Twice… in one day?!” She seemed more focused on his apologizes then everyone else he said, as if the rest of his words had been in one ear and out the other. After all, he could always just repeat that, but she’d never hear him apologize twice in almost the same breath again!
Gisli sighed, she would have shaken her head if she hadn’t just about knocked herself out. “I must have hit my head harder then I thought!” She was almost in denial now. No way could she have heard him correctly. She was probably dreaming from that smack to the head.

*Wait....wait a second! Did he? Did Shakaku really say something like that. He wasn't thinking...Again this was all the fault of women. He was so flustered right now. What could he say. There was no way that he would admit that he did anything like that. But she heard him say it. And she pointed it out....twice! Shakaku turned away from her, not sure what to say. He should just leave. That would be better for all...wouldn't it? Better if he just avoided her, and stuck to his training. Then he could clear his mind more effectively. Right? That would help him learn more and improve with his training.*
I gotta go.
*He started to walk slowly away. He wanted Gisli to stop him, tell him to come in. Maybe even explain what the freak was happening. They were suposed to be friends...only friends. This wasn't supposed to happen. What was happening to him? First catching her and making sure she was alright...then actually apologizing! This wasn't like him. Maybe he was sick or something. But even if he was he still wouldn't got o Hazel.*

Okay, maybe she shouldn’t have mentioned him apologizing. All it did was make him completely tense, with his flight response instantly kicking in. Shakaku wasn’t one to run away though! She didn’t want him making a habit of it now! How was he supposed to be a bully if he ran away from a random girl? Sure, she didn’t like him being a bully, but it wasn’t likely she could change that…
“…Wait.” Before she even realize what she’d said, or what she was doing, she reached out, quickly catching his hand to try and stop him from leaving. When her senses returned she blushed, only a little though, the color barely visible, and released his hand. Why had she stopped him? Wouldn’t it be best if he left? After all, she was having these strange emotions and was absolutely positive he wasn’t feeling the same thing! “Thanks… For earlier.”
Why did she want him to stay? And why was that fluttering back the moment she saw him? It was so confusing… She should have just let him leave! Sure, he probably would have gone off to find someone to bully, but at least he wouldn’t have to deal with her craziness…

*Shakaku was almost happy that Gisli stopped him. But why? Why was he so happy to know that she didn't want him to leave? Why did he want to holder her in his arms again? Why did he want to grasp onto Gisli's hand as she held it? He didn't move for a few moments. He then turned to face her and nodded.*
It was nothing. As I said...it just happened.
*There was a pain in his chest. It wasn't actual...was it? It wasn't to painful, but for some reason the thought of pulling away from her, and leaving her...that pain came. Gisli's heat was rising. Was she okay? Did she have a fever? Shakaku quirked an eyebrow.*
Are you feeling okay Gisli? Your temperature just went up a little bit.
*It wasn't that much but it still was noticeable. Thanks to Freya's training his scene of heat was more in tune. It wasn't high enough to be a fever, but maybe it was the start of one. If she was getting sick maybe she could catch it before she actually got sick. But why did he care so much. True they were friends. But that's all they were friends!

“Yeah…” She wasn’t sure what else to say to his first comment. What could she say after all? Gisli stood there for a few moments, unsure what to do now. He didn’t have any reason to stay after all! He’d only stayed because she’d physically stopped him!
When he spoke again… her face almost flushed even brighter. Crap. That training he’d gone through was making him more sensitive to even that?! Curse that power of his! Why couldn’t he have just stayed oblivious to her blushing! If only she could play the sick card and just get out of all the trouble… Sadly she didn’t like lying to friends. “Yeah, I’m fine. Head hurts, but other than that..” How was she going to keep him from worrying about her temperature though? She couldn’t mask that! Well… Maybe she could somehow blame it on hitting her head? Sure it was a long shot, but it was worth a try… right?
“What about you? Feeling any better now?” Stupid question! Of course he was feeling better! He could actually walk! He’d actually come to her room! God… She was being stupid! Why couldn’t she act normal right now?!
