Christy thought about that for a moment. No schooling? She raised her eyebrows when she heard that. But, obviously, he could take care of himself for the most part, so she had to right to judge him. So she decided to ignore that and go back to the first part he said.
"Attacked you...?" that seemed more important than school anyway. "Did you do something to piss them off?"

*Chez thought, he pissed off lots of people and lots of groups, not like he remembered witch event went to which group.*
Probably, not sure exactly, but usually if they know my face and they attack me, they probably know me. Some how.
*Some of the men looked familiar, he remembered that he hurt some of them in the fight.*

Christy looked at him curiously as he spoke. She really wished she were a telepath right now, so she could see his memories of the fight. At least then she could sort of understand what he was talking about.
Then she thought of something. Did he find some way to escape and limp to the mansion? Or did Hazel and Hank actually save him from the idiots who hurt him?
"How did you get away?"

*Chez was remembering the bloody fight where he was hugely out numbered. That was why he was so badly hurt. He almost didn't hear Christy's next question.*
My power.
*He usually uses it to fight, but this time he used it to get away, as far as he could. He wished he could go and find where he was "camping out" before the fight, he had a few things there, like some food that he hoped that the buts and rodents wouldn't get. But because of the fight, and because there was some guy here, he couldn't leave the area.*

Well, that's specific, she thought grimly. Christy hated it when people didn't just answer her questions straight forward. It usually meant they had something to hide, or something similar to it. Chez didn't seem all that secretive, like he was hiding something big, but he definitely wasn't very outgoing. But now she was curious to what his powers were. If they managed to help him escape his attackers, then they must've been pretty cool.
"So what are your powers then?"

Evaporating
*Chez then focused and evaporated. He reappeared behind Cristy. It was a very silent proses, so she wouldn't know where he was.*
It's like Teleporting.
*He had to concentrate because he was still tired, and sort of week. He then evaporated back to the spot he was standing before.*
It comes almost naturally now.

She cocked one eyebrow slightly when he said this.
"Evaporating?" but her question was answered when his voice came from behind her. She looked over her shoulder and smiled at him then. When he reappeared in front of her, she turned back to face him again.
"Awesome."
So obviously that was helpful when trying to escape from idiots trying to attack you. Christy's power was pretty useful in a fight too, but didn't really know how to demonstrate very well. Usually she went over board with her abilities because they were too fun not to over do.

*Chez let out a smile when Christy liked his power. He didn't talk this much with people, not because he was anti-social, but because he didn't have that many chances.*
What's your power, if you don't mind me asking.
*He seemed insecure with asking this question, he didn't talk about power at all with people who could strike up conversations with him, but hear he felt kind of safe to talk about it.*

She was slightly surprised when he smiled back at her. He seemed so gloomy when she came to start conversation with him. Now he seemed more open. And then he asked her the same question. She'd been expecting it, and refused to let herself get carried away again, but she did love playing with her powers. She discovered knew things about them everyday.
"Well, I would just tell you... but showing you is much more fun." She smiled bigger, "I have two, but they're very similar."
A weed that was growing in the grass beside her suddenly grew at an amazingly fast pace and a flower bloomed at the top of it, and it was now her height. The light lavender petals were hanging right beside her face.
And then, the ground shook slightly for a moment, any harder and it would've made them lose their balance. And then a disfigured rock levitated off the ground and hovered up to her outstretched hand and landed in her palm gently.
"Although, I think teleporting is much more interesting than mine. It's better for sneaking up on people, anyway." And sneaking was one of her favorite things. She'd give anything to be able to evaporate like Chez.

*Chez was first startled with what happened. But he was amazed with the results. This made him think of his power, maybe extending it. Making it better.*
That was cool
*He didn't know what else to say, but then she mentioned about sneaking up on people.*
It's also good for sneaking around to get food.
*He was surprised with what he said, he wasn't sure how she would take it, but it was true that he didn't always have a good meal. It was a good day if he had two meals. A normal day if he had a little to eat for one meal.*

Christy just smiled at him. He thought her powers were cool. It wasn't everyday she got to show someone her powers, let alone get a compliment that was beauty-based. But then he added the comment about getting food.
She frowned then. "You didn't have any food?" she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
She knew she was lucky to have found the mansion and made a life here, but she could never imagine not having food. What else did Chez have? First getting weirdos attacking him to the point where Hank wouldn't let him leave, and now he's saying he was foodless... but at least he wasn't very gloomy anymore.

*Chez shrugged, he wasn't planning on telling everyone that there was nothing left for him back there. That this was probably the nicest place he had slept in years.*
On a bad day, no. But on a normal day, well I usually got one or two things to eat.
*He let out a forced smile. It was smaller than the other smile he gave earlier. He didn't want Cristy to feel bad for him. He was used to it.*
But it's not like I eat lots anyways.

Christy tried not to feel bad for him. And she knew that you really didn't need that much food a day to survive. She didn't eat much and she had the whole fridge to herself some days. She smiled back at him, though, anyway.
"I don't, either."

*Chez let a smal smie, not forced this time. He knows that if he had stayed at the orphanage he would probebly have a slightly better life now. But he hated it there, and some of the kids called him a freak, even without knowing that he had powers. Every kid there knew that he had survived a car accident that no one would have survived. He had found the cliping from then after he knew that he was a mutant and it didn't explain that he wasn't in the car. They found him out of the car, and safe from any harm. At this time his stoumach let out a growl. He ignored it and kept looking at Christy. He didn't feel any pain from an empty stoumach anymore, it just randomly made noises. Chez was used to stealing unwanted food from where ever he could finde it. Staying at this mansion was a completely knew experience.*
Not lots of people eat little, but lots of people though out perfectly good food, sometimes.
*This he knew from experience.*

Christy looked at him curiously. She could've sworn she heard his stomach growl, but he didn't seem to notice if it did. So she ignored it, too. She nodded after he spoke again.
"Definitely. That's why i just grab a few cookies and I'll be full for the next... six hours," she smiled then. It may have sounded crazy, but it was true. It wasn't that she wanted to stay thin, she'd never had weight problems, she just wasn't hungry. Although most people didn't believe her, it was true.
