::a figure made entirely out of water stepped out from the ocean, one hand seeming normal while the other seemed to have a large lump. As the figure stepped on to the rocky island, his form changed to that of the rocks itself, shedding the watery form like a blanket. A few steps in and he sent the lump of rock down next to him. Standing his form changed to it's original status. Cain smiled and looked around::
Knock, knock...anyone home?

Shadow had felt something approaching the island long before it arrived, and decided she'd best be the 'welcoming party'. She walked through the halls underneath the ground towards the entrance, in no real hurry yet. Her power reached out silently and wrapped around Cain, freezing him where he stood so he wouldn't be able to escape, if he was a real intruder. She didn't know as of yet who this was, so she took no chances. She reached the mouth of the cave after a few moments of Cain being frozen on the island.
Upon reaching the entrance, the grip on Cain loosened, as Shadow had spotted him. She appeared out of the dark shadows, a rather neutral expression on her face for the moment, though that was her normal expression.
"And to what do we owe this visit, Cain?"
Shadow's eyes shifted slightly the the stone 'lump' he had brought with him, before glancing back to Cain, and eyebrow raised.
"You bring a girl with you?"

::he looked down at himself as he tried to move, but then smiled as he realised he was trapped. As Shadow came into view, he smiled his usual smile at her. After her power loosened around him, he gave her a graceful bow::
My Dear Shadow. Do I need a reason to visit such a lovely presence?
::as her eyes focused on the "lump". She knew he had a girl in it, mainly because of it's size. But what she didn't know is what kind of "girl". His hand went down and touched the "lump", some of it parting and sinking inside itself to reveal the head of a very familiar girl::
Funny thing happened today. I ran into a family member of yours, and decided it was time to have a reunion

*Sky was up in her room when she felt someone go through her mind barrier, Cain apparently. But who he brought with her...Sky bolted out of her room immediately, putting a mind barrier around Rose's conciousness so that she wouldn't wake up. Sky ran into Shadow and Cain, a look of outrage on her face*
Give her to me. Now. I want my sister.

Shadow caught Sky's sudden movements from the moment Sky felt Rose's mind. She glanced out of the corner of her eye when Sky came storming out. With a slight smirk, Shadow actually decided to let her cousin have as she wished. Her power reached out and tore the stone surrounding Rose's body. With ease Rose was lifted into the air and over to Sky.
"She's yours."

Rose, though unconsious, felt the familiar mind of her sister when Sky made sure she would stay asleep. There almost seemed to be a sense of calmness that over came Rose at that point, the barrier on her mind more like blankets to her. Deep in her sumber, her mind responded in a sense, her thoughts forming a few words...
'Onee-chan... It hurts... make it stop please...'
Rose had always gone to Sky when she was physically hurt, wanting Sky he make her forget the pain even more a little while. There had only been one regret in her mind when she left the Nightshades, and that was leaving her older sister.

*Sky went over and immediately plucked Rose out of the air. She was heavier than Sky remembered. Rose's familiar smell came over and the first feeling that went through her was relief that Rose was back with her. Then a sense of surprise when she heard Rose's voice in her mind. Sky then turned to Cain with a look of pure hatred, tempted to kill him for torturing her precious sister.*
Cain, the next time I see you...I will kill you.
*Sky then turned and quickly went back to her room*

I seem to be making friends everywhere today.
::Cain could only smile at Sky's words. He watched her carry Rose inside before turning his attention to Shadow. He walked up to her, keeping a good distance between them. When he was sure that the two of them were alone outside, he gave his usual smile to her::
Now that I'm sure I earned your trust, I have a little favor to ask of you.

Shadow watched Sky out of the corner of her eye, smirking at her reaction towards Cain, and glancing to Cain when he spoke. She had been excepting such a response, though was surprised Sky hadn't tried to kill him on the spot.
"You'll have to excuse Sky. She's a little..... over protective of her sister. She would even try to kill the rest of us if we did anything to Rose."
She paused for a moment, eyeing him as he stepped closer, but still keeping some distance. An eyebrow slowly lifted when he mentioned a favor. Usually she would shoot someone down for such a request, but Cain had done a... deed for them, and for that he deserved to be rewarded.
"And what, may I ask, sort of favor would you be speaking of?"

Funny, the girl told me she would rather die than be brought to you. Perhaps I might be able to do that little proposal someday.
::when she asked him what the offer was, he couldn't help the smile that grew on his face::
I'm sure you have heard about the new group of mutants on the rise. They call themselves the MRF.

Shadow smirked softly when he mentioned Rose saying she would rather die then be brought back. It easily made sense with how Rose had been brought up.
"Well of course. Rose has always hated all of us, except for Sky."
She paused as he slightly started to say what it was he was wanting to ask her. She'd sent some of the Nightmares out to do some research on the MRF, so she knew quite a bit about the group, though not everything.
"Yes, I know of the facility. And to what point are they important in this favor you ask?"

::he shrugged at Shadow's responce about Rose. When she asked about the importance of the MRF to him, he could only keep that cold smile of his::
The MRF have been doing what they can to send out people to investigate other members of mutants such as the brotherhood, X-Men, and a group known as the Nightmares. I know for a fact that one such member succeeded in being the spy in one of these groups.

Shadow merely smirked darkly as he spoke. He didn't take her for a fool, did he? She had already known this information... as well as a little more.
"And I would assume you would be refering to yourself."
Her smirk turned even darker and colder.
"I'm no fool. My grandfather told me what rested in that head of yours back in England. Though I should let you know, you have learned nothing of true importance to us, as there really is no secrecy among my Nightmares."

I'm not here to find you out, Shadow, nor am I here to find out the nightmares. I'm here to ask for their assistance. My "boss" seeks to inslave all of humanity as well as mutants in an effort to control the world. I, however, wish nothing of the sort.
::his smile grew more cold and wicked as he continued::
I wish to destroy the humans, and what mutant pest that seeks to stop me. You are more than welcome to help me, because the first part of my little plan is the MRF itself. In return, I'll help you with any problems you might be having. The MRF, under my control, will not interfere with anything you are planning as long as it doesn't involve us.

Shadow shrugged softly, as if it had been common knowledge.
"I would have thought you would know we knew. You did, after all, come to my families house, where everyone is mutant, there was bound to be one or two able to read your thoughts."
She paused for a moment, and let him speak of the favor he wanted. It actually intrigued her, though she didn't know what problem he would help in return, she didn't really have any she couldn't solve, and he had just solved one for them by bringing Rose back.
"So you ask for our assistance in helping you take over the MRF?"
