There are many mutants out in the world with powers far beyond my knowledge. Though I must admit that I was hoping for a little surprise about my involvment.

I would've been able to handle the situation myself, but my...employer knows me all too well. Therefore she knows both my strengths and weaknesses. I'd need help from those that she has yet to understand, and so fears.

::a form made of water once again could be seen coming out of the ocean, another lump in his hand. As he stepped onto the island, his form changed into normal and he set the lump of rock onto the ground. He waited until he knew his powers had settled and before he looked around the island once more::

"Are you going to make a habit of bringing little girls here, Cain?" Shadow's voice actually came from above the cave entrance. Shadow was lying on her stomache up on top of the cave, her upper body propped up by her arms, one folded and one holding her head. She gave Cain a questioning look as she gaze down at him, wondering who this child was this time. She knew it wasn't Rose, she'd know if it was Rose.
"Oh, did you know that someone helped the traitor escape? No one has been able to locate either Rose or Blackbriar as of yet." She sighed, lifting herself up with her power. Slowly and carefully she lowered herself to the ground right infront of Cain. Finally with her feet on the ground she nodded in greeting. "It certainly is a pleasant surprise seeing you back here again." In the time she had known Cain she had grown to actually enjoy the man's company, if only because he was just as destructive as she was.

Just recently, Sky had the habit of sulking and staying in her room unless she was needed. Rose's departure hit her hard, but she was loyal to the Nightmares.
Suddenly, Sky felt a slightly familiar presence and immediately recognized the foul mind of Cain entering their lair. Gritting her teeth, she got up and quickly appeared at the mouth of the entrance, glaring at Cain when he came into view. Sky then spotted the girl he was carrying and for a dreadful minute, she thought he had found Rose. But as immediately as the dread came, relief flowed through her when Sky realized it wasn't her sister. She then turned to Shadow with hatred in her eyes for Cain. "He's brought a girl called Crystal...". Sky noticed Cain hid his thoughts carefully and wanted to dissect and pull his mind apart to find out more and to torture him for what he did to her precious sister. "Shadow..."

Shadow glanced lazily over her shoulder when Sky appeared at the entrance, her projected thoughts entering Shadow's and Cain's minds. For a moment she just gazed at her, before smirking. "You don't look to happy to see him back here again. Especially after waht happened the last time." Her gaze flickered to Cain for a moment. "Of what importance is this child? Especially since you brought her here."
Shadow gazed at the stone encasing Crystal, focusing on the stone and completely destroying the casing as her power tore at the stone like a starving wolf and a steak. Finally Shadow could see the face of this young girl Cain had brought. Sky would have a very strange sensation from the stone being gone. Before Crystal's thoughts would have been dimmer, as if a faint radio station. Now though, it was like the volume had been put on full blast, then the dial broken so you couldn't shut it off. If Sky wasn't careful she'd be lost in the endless knowledge, most likely losing her mind from not being able to handle infinite knowledge.

Once Shadow opened the crystal encasing the brat, Sky was sucked into Crystal's mind, her eyes opening in surprise. Her mind was being drowned out by all the knowledge and information in this girl's mind and it took Sky about a minute to cut the connection. Once that was done, Sky returned to her own mind and looked at Shadow in confusion. "Shadow...this girl...she..." Sky was confounded by how much the girl knew. Maybe this was her power...? She then looked at Cain, with a curious expression. "Where did you find this girl...? The knowledge stored in her mind is...infinite. Shadow...this girl may be useful." After she got past her wonderment, Sky was excited to explore this girl's mind. If she was careful, she could find information in Crystal's mind that they wanted to know. Sky always liked to explore people's minds.

Always a pleasure to grace such pleasant company.
::Cain looked up and smiled as Shadow greeted him, telling him she was glad that he had visited. Upon the news that Rose had been taken away by somebody obviously of the group. He could only smirk and set the lump of rock next to him down onto the ground::
Perhaps my little "present" can help us with that problem, and more.
::at the site of Sky, his smile grew only more cold and malevolent. Another chuckle as she ruined his "surprise", he mimiced a small pout::
Awww, why did you have to go and ruin my little surprise.
::as Shadow tore open the rock that was wrapped around Crystal, he could only smile widely at the affect the girls powers were doing to Sky. He knew of Skys mind reading power, and couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment as Crystals powers overwhelmed her. He smiled and nodded when Sky said she would be useful::
Indeed she would be, Shadow. She knows everything there is to know about...well...everything. And she will be more than willing to help you find Rose, as well as other plans you might be forming in your beautiful mind.

Shadow gazed at Sky when she heard her say something, an eyebrow raised. Finally a dark smile touched her lips as she returned her intense and curious gaze to Cain.
"No limits to her knowledge? Fascinating..."
She took slow and graceful steps towards Cain. When she was with in an arms distances of him she reached up with one hand, wrapping her long and elegant fingers closing lightly on a loose strand of his gray white hair.
"You were much more gentle with this girl then Rose. Do you like her? Do you think she'd willingly cooperate, or would Sky have to fix that?"

::he couldn't help the cold smile that widened on his face. When Shadows fingers touched his hair, he responded in kind, his own fingers moving their way through hers::
My dear Shadow. I was merely gentle with this child because such a giving mind required excellent care. Sky was...shall we say...less that cooperative and needed "persuasion" to change her mind. The girl, Crystal, only need a question to be asked, and she will give you your answers.
::he then began to explain to the sisters about his encounter with Crystal. He included the interruption by Ren, and the massive amounts of information that was given before the girl lost conciousness::

Shadow listened in silence as Cain spoke, her fingers entangled in his hair and a smirk touching her lips. When he finished her lips finally parted to speak.
"Any question imaginable, and she will answer.... How interesting..."
She paused for only a handful of seconds before speaking once more.
"Though there does seem to be a flaw. You said it was because of all the information that she collapsed... It would seem then that to much information can cause damage to her if we're not careful. How long has she been unconscious?"

::he smirked as his fingers gently went through Shadows hair, admiring how hers shared the same color and length as his own, as did the cold and emptiness of her eyes. When she mentioned a flaw, he couldn't help the smile that spread across his face::
Yes, one does have to be careful with such a valuable, yet delicate instrument. However, is there not a way where we can fix that problem? Perhaps Apocalypse might have something?
::he chuckled::
Of course, if you, or one of your nightmares faithful to you, were to go and ask of this from him, we mustn't let him know the reasons as to why we need it.

"Hm...."
She seemed to be lost in thought for a moment, trying to recall if Apocalypse had ever said anything that could apply to the situation.
"He would probably kill any of my people if they asked him, even if I was the one to send them. I shall ask him myself. I was planning on visiting him sometime this week, now I have a reason."
Shadow paused for a handful of seconds.
"It would be best to get her there as soon as possible, we wouldn't want her waking up and getting a chance to escape..."
Once more she paused, smirking to tug softly on the strand of hair of his she was 'playing' with.
"Your welcome to come with me. He wont ask any questions. His business is his, and mine is mine. We prefer to keep it that way. And my guess is that as long as we let him use her as well, he probably would not care why we have her."
She glanced to the entrance of the cave, mentally reaching out and literally dragging out the closest person out. The person looked rather startled, but quickly recovered.
"Tell Batto that I am going to go visit Apocalypse, as well as have a helicopter readied."
The person quickly nodded and left to do as she ordered.

::he chuckled at the thought as she tugged on the strand of his hair. His own fingers trailed through her hair and then lowered down to his side. When she talked of visiting Apocalypse, he couldn't help but chuckle. He would love to finally see the Brotherhood, figure out their defenses and then find the weaknesses inside::
If only he knew the plans we had instore, he would kill us on the spot. Fortunately, he's not that smart

Shadow just smirked. "Neither of us plan on telling him, so it'd be impossible." She finally untangled her fingers from his hair, stepping back. "Let's be off then." She didn't even look to the girl as she mentally reached out, lifting her into the air and having her float behind Shadow as she turned to the entrance and casually walked through the caves. Of course, my dear Shadow.
::he waited and watched as she lifted Crystal off of the ground and carried her into the cave. He followed after her, but couldn't help a smile that came to his face as he passed by Sky. He had a feeling not only losing Rose, but him gaining Shadows favor with Crystal, would put him more on good terms with Shadow than even Sky would've allowed had she been leader::
Yes...let's be off.
::his form disappeared into the shadows of the cavern entrance::
