::he smirked::
Oh, so it's Ro huh? Cute.
::he smiled and chuckled when she rolled her eyes::
I know there is, but that doesn't stop people from exploiting it.

*She shrugged at this.*
“Everyone always seemed to think so. Achmed wouldn’t have called me nothing but that for ten years had that not been the case. It’s better than what they used to call me in Kenya too. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it there, but constantly being called ‘Goddess’ isn’t really my thing.”
*She arched a dark brow at him.*
“Well done. You’ve seen the obvious.”

::he smirked as she explained her names that she had. He could understand why Kenya would consider her a goddess since she was able to control the weather. She must've been helpful with crop season and other elemental problems. When she talked of him mentioning the obvious, he just gave a short, inward laugh::
I do my best when it comes to these things

*She shot him a baffled look when he smirked about the Kenyan tribes calling her a goddess. She tried to convince them to not do so and call her Ro or ever Ororo instead. That didn’t help. Then they just called her the Goddess Ororo. It got irritating from time to time.*
“Is it funny or something? I don’t understand why you’re smirking about it.”
*Ro nodded.*
“Yes, you do. The problem is that you don’t look to see what isn’t obvious and you attack the obvious.”

I just can understand why the Kenyans would consider you a goddess, you do control the weather. And I usually attack the obvious when I know the obvious is out to cause more damage than I do.
(sorry, couldn't think of anything else)

*She shrugged.*
“It’s not just that. Some of them thought that my mother was a goddess as well and she was as human as they come. She just wore the family colors, as I do.”
*She twisted a lock of her silver hair as if to explain what she meant. Her controlling the weather just made it easier for them to think of her as a goddess. Ro then shook her head.*
“Sometimes it isn’t the obvious that you have to worry about. Sometimes you have to look deeper before you decided to kill something.” ((That was the lamest post I've ever seen homes.))

Even so, they must've treated you like royalty when it came to things like this.
::he smiled at her comment, but couldn't help but think about her words when she said about looking deeper. It was a true statement, cuz everyone in the mansion knew that it's not what a person was on the outside that made them good or evil. Logan just knew too much evil to tell when there's good sometimes::
I suppose you're right

Storm shook her head at this.
“They wanted to treat me like royalty but I never let them. If ever there was a hunt to go on, water to fetch, kids to watch, chances were that I was going to jump in and do it before they gave me a chance not to. I lived on the streets for nine years. The life of a goddess was not for me.”
Ro raised a brow at him.
“What’re you smirking about?”

::he listened to her story as she told about her life. When she said that she had been on the street for nine years, he couldn't help but wonder how she was able to last that long on her own. But then again she wouldn't beleive him if he told her how long he lasted::
I'm not smirking about anything

*She raised a brow at him.*
“Alright…if you say so.”
*Ro muttered something under her breath in a different language, knowing that if she said it in English he would understand and hear her. This way he just heard her.*

::he just smiled and shook his head as she looked away and muttered under her breath. He didn't understand the language she spoke in, but decided it was better for him not to. So he laid there on the beach and waited as the silence fell between them, then gently leaned over and kissed her shoulder::

*She gazed over at him and quirked a brow at his lips grazing her shoulder.*
"Um...what exactly was the point of that?"
*She asked a bit baffled at that particular action.*

::he looked at her oddly, expecting a bit more of a decent reaction then that::
Because I wanted to. Is that a bad thing?

*She raised a brow and slumped back into the sandy earth, shrugging slightly*
"I dunno. You're just being weird. I never really saw you as...an affectionate type. I always thought that if you had kids they would be the ones that never did anything bad out of fear of you killing them."
*Storm stated, half teasingly and half honest. In truth there were times that she would fear for his children...if he ever had any anyway.*

::he chuckled::
I'm only affectionate to someone I care for, but don't tell anybody. Well I wouldn't kill them, but they'd hate it if I ended having to give them a spanking for something.
::he said with a little humor in his own voice::
