[/li][/ul]Basic Rules
- Be respectful to everyone, especially the staff. Should you intentionally cause problems then you'll learn very quickly that we are not afraid to deliver the consequences.
- Swearing is allowed, but keep it to a minimum. If someone asks you to use cleaner language, please oblige.
- For now, we aren't putting any limits are how many characters you can have, but if you leave them inactive for more than six months we MIGHT delete them! We do know that sometimes you can't be active for a very long time, with school and other situations; we just ask that you let us know when that happens. And don't make more then you can handle, don't be a character hoard!
- Out of character, and In character, no text talk. That means no “How r u?” “What’s ^?” “Nm, u?”. Write out the entire word. Use proper English and grammar.
- Unless you are posting in the OOC boards, try to keep everything in character. If you need to say something that's OOC though please have (( )), :: ::, or [[ ]] around it. (Remember, this is only required in the roleplaying areas.)
Registering/Creating your Character
- First things first, when making an account please make a username that has something to do with you character that you are making. No XoXoCutiePie374685. Preferably their first or last name or even their code name would work best.
- When creating your character please use the application that we have provided! If you use any other application we will ask you to change it. Do not post until we have accepted your application! If we find something wrong with it we will tell you. Do not argue with us please.
- When choosing a Play By for your character please use an actual Celebrity or Model. No Facebook or Deviantart people please! Also when you choose a Play By use someone who is age appropriate! Do not use an actor/actress who is 40+ years old for a 15 year old student. There is just no way that is possible.
- Once your application is accepted you must post in claims. You must also either have an avatar or a signature with a picture of your Play By you are using. This will make posting a lot easier for people to know what your character looks like instead of having to look it up.
Roleplaying Guidelines
- O.L.D. (One liner Disease). Just no. Don’t do it. We have a minimum of TWO HUNDRED WORDS for all in character posts, we even have a code preventing you to post until you reach 200 words in the RP forums! And don't use OOC comments to get your word count up! The two hundred words needs to be in character.
- If you wish to kill another person’s character, you must have that person’s permission. We do not allow killing others without consent so you'll be wise to not attempt it.
- God-moding, Puppetting, and auto-hitting are no-nos. You aren’t God, your character can’t dodge everything. Don’t control other people’s characters without their permission. And don’t decide if your attack will hit the other person or not.
- In regards to sex, we have a PG-13 rating. When clothes start coming off, there has to be a ‘fade to black’ moment.
- If you are going to change your powers, add incredible weapons, or make plots that affect many members(Or make your character Godly in anyway), you have to have the admin's PERMISSION BEFORE HAND. This means, no atomic bombs or any weapons that aren't 'real' with out permission, no plots that affect a large amount of characters with out permission, no 'the only one who can save the world' plots. Etc.
Avatars and Signatures
- Just to remind you we were serious, Real playby's ONLY (and no facebook/deviantart playby's. Most have asked that their pictures not be used.)! We will not accept anime or artwork playby's from now on. Mutants who do not look human, we will allow an exception if it would be impossible/very difficult to manipulate a picture.
- It's already been stated once, but you must have at least an avi, or a signature.
- Keep your signature pictures at a moderate size. Sure, we have a code to resize images over 500x500, but please be courteous to others. The page may take a while to load and page stretching is very annoying.
- Anything sexually suggestive, nudity, vulgar, etc, will not be tolerated! We will remove all pictures that fall under this category. Guys can be shirtless, even in just underwear if you want, Girls can be in swim suits or underwear. But the second we see parts we shouldn’t see, the picture goes.
- If a celebrity is already claimed, don’t try to cheat the system. The staff might be quirky and fun, but we‘re not stupid. Save yourselves, and us, the trouble. Also, it would be wise to look at what celebrities have already been claimed to avoid setting your heart on something to find you can‘t have it. However, if the character whose celebrity you wish to acquire has been inactive for two months or more, you are free to use them. If you try using a celebrity that is claimed and are caught, there will be consequences.
C-box
- Basically, keep it nice and clean. No fighting, don't swear to much.
- Keep drama OUT OF THE C-BOX. We're serious. If you have a problem with someone, keep it in the pms. Don't drag the rest of us into it.
- If you're told to stop something, stop it right then and there. The admin team does not like repeating ourselves.
