Kristy wanted to do something that day or well night she didn't like being down in the hid out all the time she didn't mind but with her new found freedom and with the others letting her do what ever she wanted with just a few rules that she had to fallow she wanted to do more then just sit inside all day and sleep or read.
So once it was midnight Kristy slipped out to go have fun Ben had told her that because she was different she only chould be in her human form when she was inside or when she knew it was safe and with the streets being empty and krity just wearing a large hoddy and pants she knew that if she kept her hood up in the distance she look like any other kid so that was safe.
Kristy ran down the street to a near by park and started to run around the park by her self, her green eyes somewhat glowing in the night when the light hit them at the right angle she loved being out and this park was one of her favorite places people never came at night and there was a play grown and lots of trees and a huge flid to run around in yes maybe it be more fun with someone else but that never stoped Kristy.
Kristy ran around for a good wile when she stopped in front of a tree on of the largest trees in the park Kristy broght out her claws and started to climb up the tree it was easy for her she wished that she didn't have the hody and jeans on cause it make it a lot easyer to move threw and she choud use her tail for balance but for now she was fine she sliped her way up midway into the tree and sat on one of the branches prod that she did it with such ease she smiled for a bit until she herd something her ear twitched a little bit as she tried to pick up on what the sound was and how close it was one thing she was for sure she wasn't the only one in the park anymore.

Kyra wrinkled her nose at the foul smell of the city. There was so much pollution, she hated it. Humans are idiots, they ruin their own planet, their own home, and everything else that lives in it, not giving a shit about what they’re doing or who they’re hurting. She leaned over and picked up a piece of trash lying on the ground, a soda can. She tilted the can over and her ears twitched slightly as little droplets of leftover soda trickled onto the gray cement. She snarled, growled, and threw the can at the wall as hard as she could. She held her hands up in front of her face as sharp little pieces of aluminum went flying everywhere, along with a couple chunks of cement from the wall. She shook her head to get rid of some of the little shards that had caught in her hair.
Why was she even here? She hated the city; she would never go somewhere she hates. She didn’t really know what had led her here; she just started walking, like she always does when she gets bored, she just wanders off in a random direction. She didn’t usually go somewhere she didn’t like; her senses usually led her away from a place that smells as bad as this. She shrugged at her own thoughts; at least there are a lot of idiots here, plenty of people to kill. But no one was outside right now, everyone was asleep. She might as well find some place she enjoyed to be while she waited for morning to come. She smelled plants somewhere nearby, and nature, not enough to be a forest, but it seemed like the only area in this place that actually had any trees.
Kyra was growling by the time she reached the park. There was so much pollution, everywhere she went there was always something foul in the air, whether it was smoke from tobacco or pollution from a factory, there was always something there that made her want to gag. At least in this park there wasn’t as much, but she still saw some wrappers scattered in random places on the ground, and there was an annoying man-made path paving its way through the trees, allowing disruptive humans to destroy the little nature there was in this place. She curled in hands into tiny little fists, her slightly unsheathed claws poking through her skin.
Screw this stupid human act; she wasn’t one of these morons. She was strong, she was powerful, she was better than them and they knew it, they were jealous, they hated it, and she needed to take advantage of that. She tore off her sunglasses and threw them on the ground angrily, and guarded her face with her hands again as little shards of plastic scattered everywhere around her. She perked her ears back up, and almost sighed as she finally let her muscles relax. She crouched down low to the ground, her claws digging deep into the ground, her tail lashed around back and forth behind her. She leaped into a nearby tree, and grinned brightly as she let her claws sink deep into the tree, her shiny, white fangs almost glowing in the moonlight. “Now this is more like it.” She purred.
Kyra traveled through the park, jumping from tree to tree, moving faster than humans could possibly keep track of with their weak little senses. She was a shadow, invisible, powerful, unstoppable. No one would stop her, no one. She was better than all, better, stronger, faster, smarter. She was the best, and no one could ever change that. Yes, there are some she respected more than others, but there was no one she respected more than herself. She loved letting her true nature come out like this, she loved to be herself. Her eyes glowed blood red, and her teeth shiny white. This was her, and she loved it. She was going so fast she almost didn’t notice the small figure sitting in the branch in front of her. She skidded to a stop, dragging her claws into the branch to help slow her down.
This girl in the tree, she seemed…different. First, was the obvious, she was in the park, late at night wearing a big, heavy jacket and pants that didn’t fit, but it wasn’t just that. There was something else about her that didn’t seem quite human. Suddenly, she saw a small movement under the jacket, and the girl seemed to tense her muscles. Kyra listened intently for something else, some other sound, but come up with nothing but the chirping of the crickets and the movement of the critters. Had this girl actually heard her? It would be impossible for a human to do such a thing, especially one so young; she had barely made any noise.
She made a snap decision to approach this girl. Hell, she probably would have approached her even if she didn’t seem to hear her. Humans could change when they were that age, they didn’t have to be human if they didn’t want to be. Kyra leaped onto the branch beside her, and tried to smile warmly, not making any effort to hide her mutation. She didn’t care anymore, she liked children, and she wanted to help them any way she could, but they couldn’t be helped if they didn’t accept her for who she was. “Hi.” She said, trying to sound nice, and failing, but at she sounded relaxed.

Kristy keept trying to hear anyone out there she knew she herd something it was soft and hard to hear like an animal but something as big as her was all she could tell that was until it was infrount of her in the tree with her. Kristy hairs stood up and she hissed bearing her teeth at the girl out of seer annoyance that someone was up hear with her and Kristy didn't catch it soon enogh to run away.
Kristy hairs where on end as she saw the girl she was...different she had red eyes and fangs like Kristy. Kristy was almost scared at first so many story’s growing up of monsters but the moon was out and there was pentey of light that Kristy could see the girl had ears and it looked to be a tail behind her, Kristy had never as far as she knew meet another cat like mutant and this girl seemed to like her in more then one way.
Kristy didn't say a word she just looked at her in the eyes watching her movements her ears twitching under her hood and dug her claws into the wood She smiled showing that she had the same type of sharp fangs that the girl did but didn't dare say anything she didn't know the girl and people where never to be trusted to much it well unless they had food then you got the food. “Who are you” Kristy looked at her not untenceing her body the girl was different like her but that didn't mean she wouldn't hurt her.

Kyra finally got a good look at the girl in front of her. So, apparently she was different, different from humans at least, not very different from her. This girl had fangs, and ears, and a tail. Just like her, Kyra didn’t really know what to think about that. It felt nice to have someone with the similar features, but she also liked being different. As she looked closer, she noticed this girl had a thick layer of fur covering her whole body, not just her ears and tail like Kyra did. She smiled, that was pretty cool; it must keep her nice warm during the winter, it was almost like a portable blanket. She almost wished she had fur like that, but then she would have a much harder time blending in and sneaking up on the humans, they would notice her in an instant.
This girl was suspicious of her too, and she actually kind of admired that, she was smart not to trust anyone right away. Kyra didn’t completely trust this girl yet, but since she wanted her on her side, she tried not to show it. She wondered if this girl’s mutations affected her personality like hers did. She hoped so, it would be nice to find someone who had similar interests in opinions, and viewed the world as she did, but it was fine with her if she didn’t. This girl could change if she didn’t agree with what she did, and if she didn’t she would just have to deal with it. She wasn’t about to change just to help one person, even if she did have similar mutations.
She also wondered if this girl had her same abilities. They may look alike, but that didn’t mean they had the same powers. Kyra was faster, stronger, and more agile than almost any animal on earth. It was hard to think of anything that could fight better than she could, in fact, she there wasn’t anything that could fight better than she could. She almost hoped this girl could match her abilities, but she doubted anyone could. She shattered two mildly stable things on the way over here by just tossing them on the ground, not many people could say that. She was very proud of her abilities, but she didn’t try to show them off, she only used them when she wanted to, just like she did with anything else. She only did it when she wanted to.
”Who am I?” she said, smiling. ”Well that’s a very interesting question; I guess it all depends on what you mean. Some people know me Kyra, and some people call me Claw, you can call me either. I know myself as me, and I think you should be able to guess some of my abilities, since it seems like we have some similar mutations.” She leaned back against her tree and unsheathed her pearly white claws and studied them with interest. She wondered if this girl had them too. ”I’m also very powerful, and I can take down my enemies as fast as I make them.” She sheathed her claws with a snapped and looked back at the girl, smiling sweetly. ”But I can also be a powerful ally, and you seem like it seems like you could use one.” She didn’t know if she was with that one group of mutants that hid inside for their entire lives because they looked different and were too scared to go outside, but this girl was outside, so maybe not. Hopefully not.

Kristy's eyes didn't leave the girl as she spoke about who she was and how she could be an enemy or an ally Kristy all most hissed at her again when she looked like she could use an ally she had her people that she was friends with all ready they gained her trust someone who just happened to be like her wasn't going to just be a friend that easy.
“What do you mean I look like I may need one....I may be small but that doesn't mean I don't have friends who are powerful” Kristy glared at her. Kristy didn't know of any of the other groups of mutants sometimes the adults talked about them but normally in a way that they didn't come out in a good light they didn't understand humans and how the world wasn't going to change.
Kristy was on full protection mood she wasn't going to let another person break her defense with out proving that they could be trusted and saying that they where powerful wasn't cutting it for Kristy it only was making part of Kristy mad in what right mind did some other cat have the right to walk into her park and say she was powerful Kristy may of never actually hurt anyone as far as she remembered but that wasn't going to stop her form stating that this was her park and if some cat thought she could claim it because she was powerful she was wrong.

Kyra laughed. She had seen that look before; she had seen it in her own eyes. This girl was mad, mad that Kyra had invaded her land, her territory. Kyra always felt that way when someone tried to tell her what to do. It was her choice, her decision, and no one was going to take that away from her. It’s just in her nature to be that way. She had no choice in the matter of her nature, she only decided whether she liked it or not, and if she did, it was hers. This kid apparently thought she owned this park, she owned this tree. Kyra smiled, that’s just not the way things work, not by human standards or by nature’s standards.
”Well, I’m betting you don’t have many allies that are very powerful.” She began, “Something like that is hard to come by. I’ve met many mutants over the past few years, and none of them would ever be able to defeat me. I’m not bragging, it’s just a fact.” She did have her doubts about that Phoenix person though. She could do pretty much anything, she was totally overpowered, and it just didn’t seem fair. But, who ever said life was fair. ”You look pretty strong yourself, and I bet there isn’t anyone around to teach you how to use your gift. Since it seems like we have pretty similar powers, I bet I could teach you.” She said, grinning, “I think you could really use me on your team.”
She did know she was technically already in a team, but she doesn’t really like the fact that there’s a leader on that team. Leaders are never a good idea; everyone should be able to make their decisions individually. She just thinks of them as allies, not a real group, but she thought putting a group together might be a fun idea. She could use some allies that would be there when she needed them, she needed allies she liked, and could actually trust. She needed more people like her, with her thoughts and her opinions. They would be able to make decisions much easier that way without having to have an annoying leader.
”By the way kid, I know what you’re thinking.” She said with a sly smile, “You’re thinking I’m taking something of yours, that I’m invading your property. Well,” she said with a sigh, looking up at the tall buildings surrounding the park, “I’m sorry to tell you this, but that’s just not the way things work. By human standards, this place belongs to the government. It belongs to the people who have useless pieces of green paper. It belongs to people that think they’re in charge, that think they can make a difference. The sad thing is they do make a difference, but it’s never a good one.” She looked back at the girl. “And that’s only part of it.”
“The truth is this place here belongs to no one, and everyone.” She said, placing her hand on the tree, “It’s land, it belongs to itself, and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mind whose walking on it, as long as they don’t start killing it. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what the humans do. They ignore their privileges and they start tearing everything up, replacing it with ugly concrete rocks.” She snarled, and dug her claws into the tree, then quickly pulled them out when she realized what she was doing. “The thing is, I don’t want you to turn out like those humans. I’m trying to save you from becoming a monster, like them. Like everybody else.”

When the girl went on about how she bet Kristy didn't have many allies and that none of them would have been able to beat this girl Kristy wasn't amused she was sure there where people stronger then this one girl one mutant may not be able to stop her but what about a bunch numbers ment something. Kristy had almost a snarl on her face the hole time as the girl spoke and she didn't make it any better by saying the park wasn't her's it was the humans.
“I know this park isn't mine, I don't know what this government is but they don't put a gate around this place and I don't have to give anyone anything to play hear like other kids do in the day I play hear at night because I can and yes in away I have clamed this area as mine I like the out doors and this is one of the only places I have found where no one has bugged me until someone came in and started saying that my friends are week”
Kristy droped her ears a little and looked down towards the ground “Size i'm never going to be like a human I don't want to they think there better distroy things and hurt people to get what they want they can't be trusted most the time they find ways to be stronger better with weapons and cages” Kristy looked at the other cat girl in the eyes “So with you saying your better and that I need a stronger person what makes you any better then any human who think they own everything and are stronger when you are saying you are stronger and when you are how do you prove it by hurting them making them feel small scaring them” Kristy was wondering this one really this girl stated that she was better then everyone but how did that make her different then the humans who had already in Kristy's life over powered her made her feel like she was nothing beat hear punished her just for being a mutant.

Kyra laughed again. ” I know what you’re thinking.” she said, “I can read you like a book. You think I’m being vain, that I’m being arrogant. That’s what most people think, but I’m simply just stating the facts. Yes, I am proud that I’m better than most people, who wouldn’t be? But that doesn’t mean I treat this fact like the humans do.” So apparently this girl’s powers didn’t affect her personality. Oh well, at least she didn’t act human. She seemed much more thoughtful than humans, and a lot more aware of her powers and her advantages than most mutants. She knew some that were even afraid of their powers, they didn’t want to use them, or wished they didn’t have them at all. It seemed ridiculous to her that people would actually regret having their powers. These powers are a gift, and people need to embrace them.
”First off, humans actually believe that their power makes them better than other people, than all other living things. They destroy everything that is not human just because they can, unless they actually provide some use to them, and even if they do, they destroy them anyway just for their own comfort.” She wrinkled her nose in disgust. ”I know that not all humans are bad, but most are, most hate us, most wish we never existed, just because they’re afraid of the truth, the truth their not will to except, the truth that we’re more powerful than they are. They hate us because we have more power than they do. They want to restrict us, but we can’t let them do that, we have to fight bad.”
Her eyes burned with anger and her breathing was starting to accelerate, ”But we fight back,” she continued, ”we fight back because we have to. If we don’t they will destroy us, they will either kill us or force us to do their will, just like they did with everything else.” She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, then looked back at the girl. “We can’t let that happen, so we fight, I fight, to let them know that I’m not going to let them control us. They have to learn their place, they have to learn the truth that they already know but don’t want to accept. They have to learn that there are others out there that are more powerful than they are that can destroy them with barely any effort, without any stupid human tools.”
She looked at her claws, which she started tapping on the side of the tree. “I’m not calling anyone weak, well, not anyone except for the humans, I’m just saying I can beat them, that’s just a simple fact. Just, take that bird over there for example.” She pointed to a little brown bird, poking around a nearby tree, “I could very easily kill that bird, all I would have to do is leap over there and stick my claws through it, but I’m not going to, because I have no reason to. I like that bird, it’s nice, it’s innocent, and it knows its place, but if it ever tries to defeat me, I would destroy it before it could flap its wing. I’m not trying to be mean by saying I’m more powerful than others, I’m just stating a fact, I might even be giving you a warning, but I hope I’m not.” She looked back at the girl, ”I just want you to understand.”

Kristy looked at the the girl and stood up on the branch after she was done ranting the girl said she could read her like a book well being that Kristy couldn’t read she amused that the girl could but she didn't know what was going on in Kristy head all the time how alone she felt and the stuff that she had been threw. She didn't trust this girl because she was saying she was better because she was saying that she fight them back but you can't fight everyone not the hole world.
Kristy stood on the branch keeping perfect balance on the branch as if it was nothing as the girl talked she seemed different then everyone at lest anyone that Kristy had meet Kirstys eyes only left the girl when she spoke about the bird there was something that seemed to stick in Kristy head over everything the girl had spoke about being that Kristy was losing interest really in lesioning anymore she could only sit and hear someone talk for so long.
“knows it's place....well what if the bird wants to be somethings else are you going to stop it” Kristy watched the bird she hated the words know your place and knows its place was to clouse to it she been told that to many times after trying to run out in a filed or something when she was a little younger she was to know her place or the others would be mad and hurt her because she didn't go in what they deemed her place is why she was out right now and she was happy did things really have there place in the world and even if the girl was saying that one needed to fight Kristy didn't know how “.....if you belive things should be in there place....monsters go in cages then don't they”
((that is fine ive been doing work and so much stuff lately I understand))
