Site-Wide Plot Ideas

Hey everyone, as you know if you read the announcement, We're going to try for site wide plot ideas. We need to get the board out of the hole it fell into.

I would like for you guys to post any ideas you have that you think would help benefit the board.

Remember (Rules):

No plots that revolve around a 'single' character.
No telling another member their idea is stupid. Come on guys, We're not in grade school anymore.

Lets get the ideas going!

I ran a few ideas by Chelsea in my last email. I got her approval for this so now it's time to run them by you guys, Since you guys are the ones that will post and keep it alive.

My current idea is a 'What if' scenario. Something along the lines of 'What if, your characters got stuck/transported/originally were in/ect what would they do, how would they react?' or 'What if these powers (We would all vote on a list) no longer worked the way they should/at all/ect'

I think what we need to get this board going is a good villian(s). We don't really have any bad guys that can make a board wide plot.

I have a good idea for a plot. Check this out.

There's someone taking homeless people and turning them into dangerous mutants with different kinds of powers. This someone is getting those powers from random mutants he/she's also taking. The more homeless disappear, the more mutants appear. Here's the fun part. After the mystery is solved and the villain is confronted, he/she uses the dna of the mutants captured on his/herself.

I can see both of those ideas being good ones, Though I'm a bit concerned to start a plot involving a big villain without a member base to help push it along.

When we have a few more people (I'd like at least 5 posters so there's more characters) These would be a good idea.

Until then, maybe we need something slow? To get people back in the rhythm of posting?

i know one think i was thinking was because we did have this plot before hand was the xmen are kicked out of the school right know and the brotherhood do run it. We can use this to help with Tom idea becase now everyone who was at at the school is now home less even if they are still part of the school.

Won't work with my idea though. It'd work with the mutants dna being used, but the homeless that are being kidnapped are human

Ok, I have a random Halloween idea from Chelsea, I think it sounds pretty fun, but we need a few more 'active' members to make it even more fun!

"There was one idea I had for a Halloween event of sorts. Basically, in a 'what if' board, you pretend a plague is going around, turning people into zombies of sorts, and you see how long it takes to infect everyone that is participating. It's basically zombies vs. mutants sort of thing, and at the end of the month, if there are any mutants that are actively participating that still aren't infected, then mutants win because a cure is found, if everyone is infected, zombies win."

What do you guys think? Do you wanna try this out as an event?

Since the end of the month is drawing close and we didn't get much feedback, We'll let Chelsea implement the zombie idea next halloween if the board is still running. For now I think Chelsea has some ideas for Toms suggestion.

Anyone else have any ideas for anything? We need a reason to open the school again. It's one of the biggest draws of an 'Xmen' themed board.
