[Devika Veni]

Devika was in her sari walking down the street of new york she was just doing a little bit of food shoping for her and Liam at the moment not much just to get them threw the week and something better then the clay he was eating and eaither way she needed something to eat.
Devika had found an open market neer by she loved open markets they reminded her of home witch was a good and bad thing all together but the feeling of being in a market was better then other feeling she was looking at some stawberry's they where ripe and the guy was insiting that she should pay over the amout they where worth with just made Devika shack her head she may of not been the best at speacking english all the time but she wasn't an idiot when it came to what was the right price for food.
“No..1 dollar a pound not three” she kept saying over the they guy who was noting going to give in but then was trying to sweet talk her into some other deals like how about the starwbarries and he threw in a free bag of blue berries or a nice neacklass because it be so lovely on her.

Kooru after watching from afar began walking down the street his trench coat flowed in the wind as he kept looking at the picture of his target, after seeing Devika trying to haggle with the man he tucked the picture away and slowly walked right behind her as he was assessing her he realized this was the girl he was hired to get back alive. He didn't know why the people wanted her and frankly he could care less he knew he would see the pay after he delivered her safely, however he was cautioned to be careful about her, he chuckled at the thought of a tiny girl being a threat. After standing for a moment taking in a breath he finally spoke after hearing a little of what the store clerk was trying to do, and he knew he had to isolate her no matter the cost failure was not an option "excuse me," he tapped Devika's shoulder "But I am new to the area and i was hoping you could help me. I have been walking in circles for what seems like hours." This is where it counted either she say yes and his plan went smoother or she said no and he would have to get more forceful and that was something he did not want to resort to.

Devika had the guy almost broken to the point she was happy a dollar fifty for the berries and she also was getting a cheep bag she then felt someone-one tap her shoulder she looked around to see who it was not knowing the man she was a little shocked that someone would be talking to her randomly. She looked at the guy up and down for a second he was taller then her and was in a trench cote, Devika hated new york sometime there where freaks everywhere why else would someone pick the one girl form the open market and ask for help when there was the store clerk right then other then to mug her.
“Yes I will help give me second” she said to him with smile
she bought her stuff and then turn back at him “where you going, I know only some of new york but may beable to show you I think I have a map in my car” she smile at him as she started to gather her bundles of strawberry that looked like much more then one person could carry far or at lest a person of her size.

Kooru noticed the amount of strawberries, as he offered a hand forward. “would you like some assistance?” He said trying to sound as nice as possible as his blue eyes shined in the light. He couldn’t help but have the nagging feeling that something bad was going to happen. After all, all he knew about this woman was her name so he didn’t know what to expect except that he knew the chance to get to her car would be the perfect opportunity to get her away and alone. He knew he had two pistols attached to his back ready to be pulled. Also he knew he had to be careful not to reveal the knives he had on his belt, for if she noticed anything odd force would be deemed necessary as the course of action. However for now his calm was kept as he began acting like the perfect gentleman and in his mind he could get away with anything even murder. A confident attitude would be needed in order to gain her trust for the short period of time he had to be around her, he knew even the slightest mistake would make her run for the hills and call attention to him.

Devika smirked when he overed help and handed him all of the boxes of strawberries with a smile “thankyou so much o and with you abble to take them you look like you can hold more then me I better get more” she went and got some more until the man hands where full if he where to set them down then it be load no one can just drop that many strawberries and not make noise.

She garbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder and started to walk away fully expecting the man to fallow, there was one slight problem to this plain she didn't have a car she didn't own one she either road the taxi or she used other means of transportation that normal would flip at being that he hadn't hurt her yet she just kept walking she pulled out her phone and started to talk on it not really caring if Liam actually answered his phone or not “Liam on my way home I got berries can you help me prep them...yea i'll be there in ten minnites if traffic is bad...o know don't worry about coming and getting me I have someone who with me we are on are way home now he carrying the boxes for me...I know....we only live like five minnites away why would I need to drive the car to the open market that why they are open so you can just walk into them and they are everywhere and next to home area's...O can you make sure the map is in my car...cause the guy im with wants needs deresions....if it not in the car then its somewhere in the house...thanks i'll be home soon” she hung up and set her phone in her pocket she was hoping that she was just being paranoid and that this guy just needed detections then would be on his marry way if not he was going to have to make his move some time in the next few minnites before she got to her house where she was living with a guy who was bigger then this guy a hired gun and she was sure not be so pleased to find out someone was trying to hurt his roommate

As kooru kept walking a nice pace behind the girl before finally speaking, "so I don’t believe I ever caught your name?” kooru said with a smile he knew he was already in her head and began manipulating and creating illusions, he knew they would be able to walk for hours without getting to the destination that the girl was hoping to reach. This was the start of the isolation kooru had to play his next hand well while acting like a regular tourist in N.Y.C kooru felt like this was going to be an easy catch manipulating what this girl saw was an easy enough task and if worst came to worse he was ready to fight. As kooru kept smiling as they walked he began to plan his next move, deciding whether to start playing with her fears now or creating more illusions to get lost in the city further and further till he could make his move. Kooru was growing curious to know if she was noticing the illusions or if she was starting to panic, either way it didn’t really matter he thought as long as I keep illusions going she will never be able to get where she needs too.

Devika was walking along taking her normal way home but there was something a bit odd when it came to this she take a turn that she was sure that was her way home and then it seemed like there was a wall that she was sure wasn't there before or a little store instead of the ally way. When he asked for her name she looked back at him for a second “Devi”

They walked for a few more monest before she smiled and turned to the man “you know i'm afraid i'm not the best at finding my way around new york see I only been hear for a little wile myself I can call a taxi for you and they can take you to where you need to be”

She didn't feel comfortable at the moment she wanted to call someone anyone that would pick up there phone just to talk to them have them pick her up if it was she wasn't going to yet not until the guy was gone and she chould admit that she was lost to her self she didn't want some one she didn't know, know that she was lost and it seemed that everyway she take home normally was wrong or something was there that time that she couldn't walk threw or take the subway closer

“it’s ok,” kooru calmly replied. “ I have time and I trust you know where your going,” kooru couldn’t help but smile as he said that line as he saw the reality of where they were actually walking he saw the perfect place a park with lots of trees that seemed to be empty, that is where he would have the illusions lead. (poor girl) kooru thought (she has no idea what the future holds for her) kooru continued walking behind her once he was sure she wasn’t looking he set the berries down and he knew if she looked behind her he would still be carrying them. Kooru had a decent sized smile on his face now this was going to perfectly. His target was playing right into his hands, like most of his targets eventually did. Kooru looked to the sky and saw the sun was beginning to set, everything was falling exactly into place kooru just needed to keep her a little longer at least until they got isolated. However even though excitement was in kooru for the pay for capturing Devika and bringing her back alive was worth the time and effort. Kooru new the time for him to act was coming and he wasn’t going to hesitate when the time came.

Devika didn't trust this guy and had muttered a simple word under her breath along with she made a call again this time to the phone that she new that Hara slept near and though he couldn't pick it up it was one that she had go where you chould hear the vosic mail just in cause she ever did need to let him home “Hey Hara venu trovi min nun Nēnu mom mīru avasaraṁ kōlpōyina veb Sā'iṭa para neer sē bāhara rahanē kē mēhamāna hai ” was all she simply said her gard was up and she wanted her pet hear.

It was getting late that Devika really did want to get home before to long and she hoped that Hara got her message and wan't off playing with rats or something maybe she should of called Jared or Liam again...she even thought about calling Alex but there wasn't much that girl could do but smile at someone really.

It seemed like she was heading towards the park witch she was somewhat o.k with her if worst came to worst she chould use her powers a lot more in a park then out in the open like this, She looked back still seeing that he had the berries that was good but she was completely lost now she looked around a bit and started curseing to her self.

“Well I have some news for you “ the sound of the hammer being pulled back on a gun could be heard and the metal was pressed against the back of her neck, “I was sent here and that call was an illusion as was where you were walking.” As reality set back in and they were at the park the sun had set completely and kooru knew this was the time. “A word of caution if you try and fight or scream, I will make sure I personally rip your throat out.” Kooru had a tense grip on the gun hoping she would make this catch somewhat of a challenge, he didn’t want this to be a complete walk in the park. His breathing got a bit heavier as his left hand began to reach for a knife that was attached to his belt. He had gone through the motions before fill the opponent with fear and either eliminate or capture them and collect his reward, however something was nagging at him that something bad was about to happen. Kooru kept his eyes on her and was trying to size her up to see if she was a normal human or something more after all there had to be a reason, the people who hired him wanted her alive.

Devika froze when she felt the mettle on the back of her neck she didn't move she just closes her eyes for a second “Damit” she muttered she sighed if the call was an illusion he mad his frist mistake admiting he was a mutant “Ooo illusionist is that what you are I've meet an illusionist before I take it you won't be as kind as her but..when it comes to letting my self lose”

She looked around “hmm” she thought for a second “you like dogs” she smirked “ Tazza , hellhound , Shisa” all at once three best a peared out of no where 3 large dogs all of witch where very different one was a Hell hound a large one about 5 ft tall and looked like a mix of a rottweiler with a wolf the other was shisa a part lion part dog and was as large as an lion then there was what chould only be the Tazza looked to be a mix of a tigger and a hound dog.

Devika quickly movied away steping back a little ways “Attack my little friends show him why we don't hurt Devi”

Kooru Just stood there laughing "so this is what they told me to be careful of? illusions aren't my thing really they just assist but in the end you will learn you foolish child." as kooru let the beasts attack him she heard a voice behind her "you know it's a bad sight when one can see themselves getting torn limb from limb," he leaned closer to her so he was whispering in her ear "my question to you is where am i and how do you know you haven't already lost? After all do you think a value of one life is equal to another?" laughter soon filled the air "lets see what these beasties can really do, when their own master knows not whats real where i am or if she sicks her dogs will she be attacking an innocent by stander? hmmmmm decisions decisions and yet the game has just begun." kooru could feel his heart begin to race as excitement filled his veins it had been a long time since he came against someone who posed a threat. Kooru could tell that this had become the workout and training he wanted so dearly.

Devika didn't watch as the dogs attacked him she chouldn't make her self but her eyes lit up when she hurd his vosice in her ear the dogs came back to her happy that they had done there job all of them where made for one thing protecting weather it was the depths of hell or just there owner they would protect her.

“You are a coward and not facing your fate” She barked a comand at taza and he left his nose in the air finding the person that had been with her all this time. She smirked though at the idea of someone telling him to be careful “hun...no one knows my little secret hear or well few do i'm sure they don't even know what to expect form me just a girl who has a fighting spirit about her”

The taza was still looking for him why the other two where walking around her she needed eatiher to get out or stay and take this guy down but she was worried that invole a body man she hoped that liam whould relize that she was gone far to late and come looking for her.

"a coward noooo far from it I am merely observing my pray before i kill it" the voice was in her ear again "if you want to play lets play." kooru jumped down from a nearby tree both guns cocked and loaded he was ready, but what he was un aware of was the more he fought the more his skitz side was taking over and making him more and more blood thirsty. as he stood there in an offensive stance guns taking aim he whispered in a voice that seemed to carry on the wind " I promised i would rip your throat out now lets see who is better." kooru could feel himself shaking from anticipation he wanted to fight he wanted to let loose but he knew it would be dangerous he shook his head regaining focus as he took deep breaths his heart returned to it's normal rhythm as he yelled " answer me this pitiful woman how do you know what to consider reality and illusion ?" he than went from his offensive stance to running towards the dogs. Guns loaded and ready to fire this would definitely be a challenge kooru thought to himself as he began to smile

Devika hated the fact she didn't know what was real and what was not it scared her not being able to really no what to do “hmp thought you needed to wrap me up in a little bow and take me to someone didn't you say you where im sure they don't want me dead”

when he started to charge the dogs attacked she had told them to only attack if it really was him so she was just hoping it was him . Devika didn't move she was almost looking at him dareing her to shoot her if he did it be over yes she didn't have any thing but her babys that protected her but she been threw worst then some hired gun. She watched as her dogs neered her attacker he wasn't going to get out of this with out a scar maybo one that even lasted a long time to help remind him never to mess with her again

“why don't we just go home this isn't worth it not worth the blood is it” she watched looking at him “if you can do illusions just trick the guys that you have me and go away with your money”
