Whisper walked through the grounds she was bored, there was nothing to do and no one was around. So she decided that she was not needed anymore. She was different from her family not very athletic so she didn't do anything in the show, sometimes she would help sell things but for the most part she hung out in the back where they all lived. Whisper whistled as she moved through the grounds more making her way back to her family trailer.
Smiling at a few families members as she walked by them she smiled as if there was nothing up when in fact she had a lot on her mind. Last night she heard people picking on the mutants and this made her fear telling her family that she was scared of this change, it wasn't that she was scared of being one because her whole family was. Being one of the youngest Fury's around and not that strong she was scared that the humans were going to hurt her. She wished Juliet was here she would talk to her about it all. Whisper always looked up to her sister trusting everything the old girl told her. Sighing she shook off the sad feelings and moved on for now.
She was getting closer to the living area when she suddenly stopped looking around she swore she heard someone crying but no one was around maybe it was that she was feeling the emotion but if no one was around where was it coming from? From a distance she heard barking which made her smile Kiki was looking for her but as soon as she turned to walk towards the sound of her pet the emotions she was feeling exploded into anger and the next thing she remember she was waking up confused as Kiki was licking her face.
“What happened Kiki? Did you see?” she asked as if the black lab could talk back to her.

Gil had started the day off in one of his rare moods were he actually was willing to talk with someone other then his foster family. They knew this and they just had to try and take advantage of it. His foster father had asked him to help him with several repairs, and had left him alone near other people several times. He was fine with it, until his foster father tried getting people to talk with him. There was just too many people trying to walk up and get him to speak. He wasn't sure what his foster father had said to them to get them to come over, but he didn't like how many random 'strangers' he had to deal with. He ended up finishing what he had been doing and was gone before his foster father had time to ask him to do anything else. His mood was half way ruined, and it didn't take his foster mother long to completely ruin it by trying to introduce him to another girl who obviously didn't want to be there talking with the strange 'fish boy'. He just ignored them after a minute and drifted off to spot close to the edge of the living area.
Gil hadn't been in his spot for long when he began to miss the ocean. Oh how wonderful it had been for him there. He could swim and do as he pleased with no other person bothering him or trying to get him to speak unless he felt like doing so. He was sad about not being able to swim in it right now. His sadness quickly faded however. He knew he wasn't at the ocean and he didn't need it right now. He had a family now, which was something he lacked and wished for when he was in the salt waters of the sea. He started to think about his foster family and he quickly got mad. He had remembered how pushy they had been today when they tried to take advantage of his good mood. He didn't like how they had done that. He hadn't been thinking about it long before he heard a thud near him. He looked around and saw a girl laying on the ground. She was out cold.
Gil had decided to move her away from the path, so that she wouldn't get stepped on or run over by someone who wasn't paying attention. A dog had come over and seemed to know her and was licking her face. He didn't think anything about it. He wasn't sure how long the girl had been out before she suddenly stirred. He had been lost in thought when she had. She spoke something, so he just sat there quietly like he always did when someone said something.

Whisper sighed as she realized what had just happened someone out there was really mad and she felt it. This made her sad she wanted to help that person this was her kind heart shinning through but her scared self didn't move to go look for the person. Reaching her shaking hand out to touch her furry friends face she smiled Kiki always knew when she was needed. “Thank you my dear friend” she whispered as she finally looked around. Kiki laid on the ground next to Whisper protectively; Whisper's eyes moved around slowly before they stopped on a boy sitting there. Freezing for only a minute she searched her memories for his face trying to think up a name; if he was back here then he was a Fury but why hadn't she seen him before?
Being so quiet around people she memorized faces and names of everyone in the family but for some reason she couldn't remember his name. Looking down she tried to hide the tears as she wiped them away. “I'm sorry I can't remember your name?” she whispered as she looked back at him. Whisper could pick up on his shyness and didn't want to push him she knew it wasn't right to push anyone into anything that they didn't want to. Deciding it was best to at least tell him who she is just to be friendly she looked at him with kind eyes.
“My name is Whisper Fury, thank you for helping me” she assumed it was him he was the only one around. Then it hit her he was the only one around she wasn't going to say again she didn't want to invade his feelings. “I won't push you to stay but if you want company I don't have many friends so I don't have a problem sitting here with you.” she didn't know why she was reaching out to him maybe it was the Em path in her that wanted to help the sad and make the mad happy again. She didn't care that she was the one that had fainted all she wanted to do was help. This feeling was new to her she was always quiet loved reading more than talking; but here she was reaching out to the boy that was suddenly next to her.

Gil continued to just stare at the girl as she spoke to him. He always had this awkward stare that the other Furies didn't like. His body was covered in dark, almost black scales, his hands and feet had some webbing that wouldn't pull all the way back to the base of his fingers, he had a swimming lens that often would be visible a moment after he blinked, he had claws on his hands and feet, and his face was always expressionless like a reptile or fish. Most people couldn't stand him just looking at them for long periods of time and he found it amusing to see how long it would take for them to leave him alone. So he just was just sitting there staring at this poor girl without blinking thanks to leaving his swimming lens down without saying a weird.
Gil had a mixture of emotions as he sat there trying to creep this girl out, in no small part due to the fact that she mentioned keeping him company. He was curious as to what the girl was doing in the road as well as to what this girl's special 'talent' might have been since she was obviously a fury. He was feeling amused by his little staring game. He also had a small sliver of worry that the girl was alright after he found he passed out in the road. He knew it wasn't a real road but it was what he liked to call it since it was the busiest, most populated path he knew of. He just sat there with the mix of emotions as he waited to see what the girl would do next.

Whisper was honestly confused to way he wasn't talking to her, had she done something wrong? Did I breath smell? She didn't know if he thought she cared about his looks he was wrong she didn't judge people looks, human or mutant it just wasn't in her to be mean. Looking around she smiled as she watched her dog roll around and having a fun she loved her puppy. Turning her attention back to the boy next to her she smiled at him and stared back just as much as he was her, but she had to blink. She thought it was cool that he didn't. Wondering if he was going to say something she just waited staring at him.
Whisper closed her eyes for a moment as the strong emotions hit her again. They were coming from him and by the feel of it she had worried him so she knew she had passed out again, what if he told someone? Would they ask why she was fainting so much Whisper was running out of excuses. Thinking for a moment she looked at him with caring eyes “I'm alright you know” she said in her normal sweet tone. What she didn't understand was why there was a feeling of amusement why was he amused by this was he a mean person and found this thing fun? No that couldn't be he had a worried feeling too. “Hmmm Why won't you talk to me? Did I upset you?” she asked sadly she thought all Furies were nice to each other what had she done?

Gil just kept on staring at the girl and after awhile he noticed that his appearance didn't seem to bother the girl much. His staring wasn't bothering her either, but it seemed that his silence did. He was confused by that and why she seemed so worried and flustered by his lack of speech. He also was curious as to what her 'talent' could be more now then before since she knew what he was feeling. He knew it wasn't thought since she would just read his mind and know why he wasn't talking to her if it was that. This was something else, and it was making him curious more and more. He stopped worrying about her after what she said, but he still didn't feel like talking to her. He never felt like talking to anyone though so it wasn't anything special.
Gil was trying to think of a way of communicating with her without having to speak when he heard some footsteps. It was some of the other Furies. They had come this way for some reason and had noticed him long before they realized a girl or dog was there with him. They looked at him for a moment, and it was obvious to him how they felt without the ability to feel other's emotions. They didn't like him. He freaked them out. He wasn't one of them as they saw it. He was a pest and a freeloader, even though he did repair things often with his foster-father. He wasn't wanted and they wished he would just disappear. Gil could tell that was how they felt and he didn't care. He never cared what those people thought about him. He didn't have an angry mob out to get him and he had atleast 2 people who cared for him so he wasn't about to leave any time soon.
They left after a time of him staring at them in that awkward way of his. He watched them leave until they couldn't be seen before turning his attention back to the girl. He still needed to figure out some way of communicating with her without speaking to her.

Whisper sat there thinking listening to all the emotions there had to be something she was missing. There had to be a reason to why but maybe she just had to take in that he may not like her after all. The feeling of worry disappeared and she smiled good that was one overwhelming emotion down. Now maybe she could get the others to go away and show that she was not leaving and was a caring person. True it shouldn't matter what others thought or if they liked her or not but for some reason Whisper had always cared. I was just her personality she wanted everyone to like her and it hurt when they didn't.
Suddenly another feeling got worse as she rub her head trying to get her head to stop pounding fighting back the urge to scream she dropped her hand suddenly as if she was protecting this boy from the group of Furies passing. Smiling and waving to them as the passed one throwing a ball to Kiki “Thank you” she called as she turned back to the boy. As they went out of range she sighed and rested her head in her hands breathing as normal as she could.
After a minute of sitting there in silence she looked up at him dropping her hands. “Don't let them bother you they are just being judgmental and mean!” she said without meaning too, it's not that she was trying to be mean to her family but if this boy was back here then he was considered a Fury and should be treated like one. “I'm not like most in this family in fact I think they call me the odd ball because I am not like them.”

Gil was staring at the girl again when she suddenly started talking again. She was saying something about how the people from earlier were being judgmental and mean. She then said something about her being called an oddball. He agreed that she was odd compared to the other Furies, but that had more to do with her 'talent' then how she acted. He thought that he noticed that she didn't look so well right after the others had left, which was in a way similar to before when he saw her on the road passed out. He wondered if there might be a connection. He thought about it for a moment, but the only thing he could think of that would cause this would be if she could sense emotions. He wasn't sure how she could do that, but then again he had also seen some Furies who could read thoughts so it was possible.
Gil decided to test it out and see, so he started to think about something that would make him upset. He started to think about people walking up to him and trying to act friendly for no reason. How they just started to talk to him as if he had invited them to come over. How they would feign kindness and act all friendly like it was an everyday thing between them. How false their acts and thoughts were and how obvious it was to tell this on them. He kept thinking about it and before long he was upset again. He was upset enough that if he were a normal person he would be frowning. He wondered what the girl's reaction would be to this as he was still feeling so upset.

Whisper was kind heart-ed she cared about everyone or at least tried too. It was the way she was raised to be nice to all and it helped that she was very innocent in nature. Taking deep breaths to calm herself from the strong emotions that had come from the group of Furies that had walked by she smiled when the feeling of being sick passed and she felt normal again. Looking around she sighed maybe being around people today was not a good thing she should be hiding she should be running into her mother's arms telling her all the stress she was under. Closing her eyes she refocused herself she not used to these heighten emotional senses. She wondered what this guy was still doing here if he didn't want to talk to her. She started to wonder why she was still sitting here too but that was easy he had helped her and she didn't just want to leave him sitting her alone.
Suddenly a sharp pain shot through her head as she struggled to deal with it but it just grew and grew until she felt like she her heart was going to explode. Her body was shaking as she started an inner battle to get this overwhelming pain and anger to pass. Looking over at the guy next to her she looked paler and weaker as she struggled to stand but only fell back down.
Kiki jumped up and ran to Whisper as the puppy started to bark at the man sitting there. Kiki started to growl as she faced the man ready to attack him any minute. Whisper placed a hand on the puppies head as she kneeled on the ground leaning against the puppy. “Please STOP!” she screamed as her eyes closed but opened again. “I can't take the anger anymore please...” she cried out as tears rolled down her face.
