Lorleina had awoken that morning to Rowan's arms around her. They had been sleeping in the safety of the thicket for the past week and a half. the nightmares had stopped all except for last night. She had had the dream of him being exiled again. She refused to tell him about it though. She didn't want him to worry anymore than he needed to be. But she was getting anxious. The dated for his wedding was rumored to be set already. She couldn't stand the thought of him with anyone else. He was her life and she hoped that he would tell his parents about them soon. She was even worried that he wouldn't tell them and get married to this girl he barely knew. Maybe he would be too scared to. Lorleina didn't know what she would do if that happened.
She rubbed her temples as she leaned on the pole behind her. The trapeze bar was in one of her hands and she looked down at the ground far below. She had been practicing by herself all morning and now it was late afternoon. Her fingers flexed around the bar as she gripped it with her other hand and jumped form the platform. She let her sticky hands come into play as she gripped onto the bar with ease and no fear of falling.
A couple flips later and she was back on the platform but on the opposite one this time. She shook her head to rid the ever creeping thoughts of her secret love affair she gripped the bar again and jumped hoping the speed and wind would drown out the thoughts. This time she forgot about her sticky hands and as she fell her one hand slipped from the bar. Her eyes grew wide and a small scream escaped her lips as fear settled in. She instantly let her one hand become covered in the small hairs as she gripped the bar tightly and swung her other hand back up to grip the bar once more. She swung her body to move the bar towards the other platform. once she was on the platform she fell to her haunches and took in a shaky breathe. This wasn't a good idea right now. Lorleina was soon climbing down the ladder and to the safety of the ground.

Whisper smiled as she hid in the big top reading her book her parents told her that if she was not going to go to school then she was going to be part of a show. Whisper was not strong like the others and the only animal she was good with was her black lab that her father had brought her for her birthday. Without looking away from her book she reach out and rested her hand on Kiki's back. “People pick on me at school I don't want to go back” she whispered as she sighed. She knew she was going to have to figure out something she could do in the shows or she was going to that back to school.
Dropping her book she looked around someone was sad sighing she picked up her book and walked towards the ring with Kiki running behind her. Maybe she should tell someone about this power it would make her family proud; but she was scared to go back to a school surrounded by so many emotions she knew she was not going to survive that. Stopping she looked up and smiled it was her big sister Lorleina doing her routine on the trapezes. Whisper always looked up to her she was strong and could do tricks like no other.
She watched as Lorleina went from one side to the other before climbing down. Clapping she ran over “You are so amazing and beautiful up there” she said. Hugging her sister she stepped back; Kiki came up behind Whisper and laid down. “Kiki you silly girl”

Lorleina jumped a little as she was hugged by Whisper, her younger sister. She hadn't been expecting anyone to be in the tent but she should have. Members of her family were roaming around everywhere around here. If she wanted to be alone well that was a hard thing to come by. She was lucky her and Rowan had found that small clearing where they could meet every night and fall asleep in each others arms without anyone seeing them. There was always the fear that someone would find them though. But with Lorleina's nightmares getting more and more frequent she didn't want to be anywhere else but in his arms. She just wished that they could tell his parents. She pushed those thoughts and emotions to the back of her mind.
"Whisper! Hi....um thank you. What are you doing in the tent?"
Whisper was younger than her but Lorleina loved her all the same. She was very close with her and talked to her about a lot of things. There were times when Lorleina didn't feel like apart of the family but Whisper would always remind her that even though she wasn't blood she was close enough and she would always be apart of the Fury family.

Whisper stood there watching her there was something wrong she was feeling emotions that were not hers again. Lifting her hand from her dogs back she placed her fingers on the side of her head as she tried to stop them from getting to overwhelmed. “Please stop” she whispered to herself. Finally her distant eyes looked up at her big sister and smiled. “I wasn't intruding I swear I was hiding in the one place mom and dad. They said if I am not going to go back to school then I have to be in the show.” she said looking around, the feelings for confusion and fear where growing stronger in her head. But as quickly as they started to plague her then were gone. Whisper was happy that she managed not to faint this time.
“I am not like the others not strong enough to do much.” tears were in her eyes as she looked at Lorleina “I can't go back to that school with all those humans talking about how mutant's are freaks.” Whisper wasn't telling the whole story. The kids at her old school saw her faint and saw her power too and she was the one they called the freak.
Whisper tilted her head and looked at the older girl in front of her. “Its you” she said as she sighed. “Sister what has got you scared..” she didn't care that she just outed the fact that she had came into her power even if it was out of control. She didn't like to see Lorleina sad. Whisper didn't care that they weren't blood she loved Lorleina with all her heart she couldn't see not a part of the family. Kiki started to bark as Whisper closed her eyes and dropping to her knees somehow the emotions were still there. Taking a deep breathe she looked up at Lorleina “I think I am coming down with something”

Lorleina nodded as Whisper said she needed to figure out what she was going to do in the show. She needed to do something she knew that. She didn't have to go back to school if she didn't want to. Lorleina had dropped out when she was only eleven and had never gone back. She had been home school for a time but mostly she had been working in the show. She had started out doing simple jobs and had worked up to being apart of the show itself and her act was very popular as long as she kept it interesting.
"You'll find something to do. Just start out with small jobs to keep mom and dad happy and work your way up and figure out what you want to do."'
She looked at her young sister as she asked her what had gotten her so scared. What did she mean by that? She hadn't shown it on her face had she? Then she realized that Whisper had finally gotten into her power. Their parents would be thrilled! They had been waiting for this moment for awhile now hoping that she would be a mutant like everyone else in the Fury family. She then became concerned as the young girl fell to her knees. She dropped as well and put her hands on her shoulder.
"Whipser...are you alright? When did you get your powers?"

Everything was blurry one minute she was talking to her sister the next she was on her knees. The young girl was starting to realize that she spends more time on the ground lately then she did on her feet. Taking a deep breath she listened to her older sister the fear of the words she was hearing hit her. Was she going to tell her parents? She couldn't handle that she didn't want to give them an reason to send her to that school. She couldn't go back to school not after what had happened no she was to scared.
Looking up at her sister she sighed and nodded “Remember when I called home from that private school a month ago and begged to come home and Daddy came and got me after he found out people were laughing at me all the time?” she asked as she looked around. “It was that day we were all in a big group doing something when it hit everyone's feelings washed over me like a tidal wave and I fainted for no reason.” she explained as she looked at her puppy and smiled before looking back at her sister. “Will you come with me to tell mom and dad? I really don't want to be shipped off to that school for the gifted I am scared of going to another school.” she said softly.
It wasn't that she was scared of being a mutant she was just scared of being picked on. She was happy that she was a mutant now her parents won't be so disappointed in her. “I'm okay it just overwhelms me sometimes when the emotion is strong in a person, its why I asked why you were scared in hopes to get you to not be so scared.”

Lorleina sat there watching her younger sister for a second. She knew how it was in the public schools especially if they found out that you were a mutant. It was brutal. Lorleina herself had dropped out ad have never gone back. Their parents had never pressured her either they just home schooled her with the other kids who had dropped out as well. It was a typical thing for a gypsy to drop out of school at a young age so they had people in their family who was like teachers for those who did and they were home schooled that way.
"I'll go with you and if you don't want to go back to school they won't force you. Remember I dropped out too."
When Whisper asked her again why she was scared she sighed and looked away. Now she didn't know if she should tell Whisper or not. No one else knew about her and Rowan. But after the night of the show and what had happened between them she knew that she was a bit more consoled about the situation but she was still scared and worried that it wouldn't work out. She didn't want to be exiled but there was a high chance that they would be. If they were exiled together then that would be a good thing but she didn't want to leave her family. They had taken her in when she had no where else to go. She was betraying them with this act that she had done. But she needed to talk to someone and she thought that Whisper might be that someone. She leaned back on her tail bone and sighed looking down at the ground.
"Whisper.....you cannot tell anyone. I mean no one. If people find out without us telling them then it could be bad....like exile bad. I....me and Rowan...he's my husband....."

The thought of going to their parents about this was a good idea Whisper had realized that she needed help learning to control this or her body and mind were not going to last she was sick almost everyday and wanted to scared at her family for them always having emotions that were strong. She loved all her family but for a girl that just got her powers she just wanted to scream. Looking at her sister she smiled most the time she would hang again Lorleina because she didn't have many moments of emotions until of late. She worried about her sister and wanted to help but what could Whisper do with a lame power like this. “Lorleina what can I do to help the family with a lame power like this?” she asked softly.
Whisper frozen when she heard her sisters words. She was married? When, How? Fear shot through Whispers mind as she stared at the older girl in front of her. Not knowing what to say she just stared letting the words hit her again and again until she figured out what to say. Lorleina was adopted so it wasn't like they were blood so in Whisper's mind it was okay but what would their parents say and would they make Lorleina leave? No that can't happen Whisper needed her older sister she was the only one that Whisper could really talk to the only one that didn't judge her for being different.
Without thinking, without judging Whisper grabbed her sister and hugged her tightly. Before looking around making sure no one was around she smiled “Are you happy? Does he treat you right?” she asked whispering.
“I won't tell anyone.” she said quietly as she let go of her sister and smiled Whisper was a good secret holder seeing that no one knew she had her powers for a whole month. It wasn't that she lied it was that no one asked about it so she didn't talk about it.

Lorleina smiled and laughed a little as Whisper hugged her tightly. She loved the young girl and was glad to be apart of her family. But the fear of being exiled was still in her. She tried to push her emotions down as much as she could for Whisper's sake. She knew what it was like when you first got your powers. She had been very young when she got hers and the death of her real parents had been the trigger for it but it was still confusing and frightening. Lorleina would help Whisper as much as she could and she knew the rest of the family would as well.
"You can do a lot if you think about it. What about maybe trying fortune telling? The humans seem to like that and you might be good at it with how in tuned you will be with their emotions."
She was so relieved that Whisper was not going to tell anyone. She knew that she could trust her and was happy that she could finally talk to someone about all of this instead of keeping it all locked away inside letting it destroy her. It wasn't good to keep everything inside and she knew that but she had no choice. She nodded and smiled as she asked her if he treated her right. Rowan was amazing. He was so caring and loving towards her and they still had fun. Even in their stolen times. She looked forward to them most of all. She looked at Lolo her lemur as he sat on her shoulder and she nodded for him to go keep a lookout for anyone while they spoke. He chattered to the two girls then jumped up climbing the tent so he could make sure no one was there so they could talk in peace.
"He treats me amazingly. You know him, too. It's Rowan. We can't tell anyone because of how he is promised to someone else. He's the heir to the entire Fury Family. He doesn't want to marry the other girl but we just don't know how to tell them. That was why we got married the other day. I was scared after the big show and was about to leave but he stopped me and told me that he wanted no one else. That was when he asked me to be his wife. Now we just need to figure out how to tell his family and ours."

Whisper looked at Lorleina there was still something wrong she could feel it but there was no way that Whisper being so young could make it better, no not in this situation they all would fear the out come together because Whisper couldn't lose her big sister and Rowan was always nice to her so she didn't want to see him in trouble too. Taking a deep breath she looked at the puppy laying on the ground close to her. Kiki looked worried the puppy had started to have a really good sense to when Whisper was going to faint or not. Petting the puppy on the head she tried to re-assure the dog that she was okay. “If I can keep that I got my powers a secret for a month and no one notice how sick I was I think I can hold this in. Just please please don't leave me.” she begged as she took in what her sister was saying.
“Well I have been slowly working on getting stronger so that I can do a Gymnastic routine. But I like your idea too, but what adult will take a reading from a little girl?” she asked as she looked around.
Whisper stared at her sister trying so hard to be alright as she waited to see what her sister had to say. Whisper was not like the rest of her family she didn't care about this she was just happy for her sister the only thing she was worried about was losing her sister but their parents were pretty open minded, or she hoped. Smiling as she focused on the older guys words instead of the emotions coming from her. She listened to it all, to how amazingly he treated her to how scared she was about being exiled. Lorleina wasn't the only scared but Whisper was not going to add that anymore then she already did.
“Mom and Dad are opened mind..They didn't push me away when they were worried about me not being a mutant and trust me they were freaking the other night in the trailer I felt it all.” she said laughing. “Are you sure we can't scare them just a little bit longer? No it's okay I'm sure they are noticing now or that they think I am pregnant or something but I am not don't even have a boyfriend and not looking.”
