FOR MUTANTS, Leave blank if you are human.
Power(s):
Music Induced Warping of Reality
(This is very complex so will go from what takes little to no ‘energy’ to what takes a lot)
Vocal Alterations: Rhyme can change the sounds that exit his mouth to any pitch of any vocal range and well beyond the normal human voice and hearing range.
Sound Alterations: He can warp and even silence any sounds currently in his area.
Musical Score: Can cause ribbons of musical score to erupt from his fingers that can be used to interact with and cut materials around him.
Reality Warp:Can create changes to the fabric of reality in an area around himself. This can vary depending on how much is changing and how drastic the change is. There are also many rules involved. Each change has a cost that must be paid in Rhyme’s energy. Also there must be some music or sound that Rhyme can hear. A cost can be reduced by the harmony between the change made and a song played. The effect only lasts as long as the song is playing though residual changes can be permanent. (Example: Changes a person’s blond hair red. The blond hair afterward is always the slightest bit pink) It takes more energy to brute force a change compared to knowing how the change would take place. (Example: Knowing that water is made out of compared to just willing water into existence)
Weakness(s): The strongest part of the power has many rules involved that limit the amount that can be used and how it is used.
Cause:Rhyme’s power unlocked when his other self came into existence. Rhyme is one of two halves of the same being. All the unrest in the world though caused his position to change from primary to secondary personality. His power came into being when Rhyme saw his father raping his two draughts in their own bed. This dark moment and the utter wish to erase his father from existence and save his sisters forced his powers into existence but also cracked his psyche in two.

History:
Rhyme lived a mix lifestyle within his home. His mother, Elandil was a famous musician, she was free spirited and a loving mother though a bit naïve of the evil of others. His father, Prometheus, was a strict, bumbling professor, who normally couldn’t spend enough time away from his books to spend time with his family. Even though his presence wasn’t directly with the family, it did cast a shadow over them, removing most of the fun their mother produced.
Rhyme is the oldest of the 4 children. His brother Lucas is the youngest, while his sisters Samantha and Alina are twins and the middle children. Alina and Samantha are great musical artists, they got the nature from their mother. They can play nearly any instrument right after picking it up. Rhyme though, did not get this talent. Even though his mother tried to help him he could not pick up the skill of playing instruments. However, at a young age he did have a knack for conducting, so his mother taught him how to do that. Rhyme grew up in a fairly happy home, conducting while his sisters played.
A dark cloud drifted over the lives of the family. It happened to be that Prometheus was not getting all that he wanted from his wife and started to sample the fruits of his children. The change started slowly. Alina started to act more and more mature as the trauma aged her mind. Sam in contrast changed from her normally loud and happy self to a dark, brooding, silent child. Elandil tried to figure out what was wrong with Sam but could not crack the child’s depression. Then suddenly, one day, Sam left to go take a walk in the forest and came back totally happy again. Though this was not the happy of before but of when she was only six years old.
Rhyme soon discovered why the twin girls were acting so strangely in the worst possible way, and afterwards was cursed with being unable to even correct the problem. One night Rhyme was getting a drink from the kitchen when he heard activity coming from the girl’s bedroom. This was not uncommon in the past since the girls would at times stay up all night arguing about music or other things. He decided to be nice brought the girls mugs of hot chocolate. When he opened the door he was met with the sight of his father raping his sisters. With what must have been an audible snap Rhyme’s mind finally broke in two creating what would later be called Artemis. With this snap though his powers as a mutant also emerged. With a furry of dark energy and a song he can no longer remember, he made it so his father no longer existed. This time was so traumatic that neither side can remember exactly how it happened.
Rhyme woke up the next morning far away from his home with no memory of what happened or even what he saw. As he tried to get back to his house he found that the police had been called and that Alina and Samatha were being interviewed. When they saw Rhyme they screamed in terror but before the police could turn he was already gone.
As he traveled Rhyme practiced with his powers. He learned that most of the power came from the emotions of the song. If they were about things he really had a connection with the power that came from it was much stronger. He also learned that his power pretty much came in two forms, energy and warping. As energy he could shape the power into orbs, beams, and ribbons that looked like lines of music. He liked the ribbons most since they most resembled his musical heritage. The warping he learned, pretty much made what the song was about come real. The bad thing is, for most of the songs it took the whole song uninterrupted for the spell to come true, but, for some of the smaller changes it didn’t take the whole song. He also found out, purely by accident, that, if he tried hard enough he could imitate any person’s voice he wanted. This was kinda odd to him but he just chucked it up to how the mutation worked. It was also around this time that he finally accepted that he was gay. He never looked at the waitresses when he went to a diner though he always had to turn his head when he passed a gym and saw all the guys inside working out.
After a year of wondering around the country where he lived, working and using his powers to get money for lodging and food. After a year a powerful psychic found him and lead him to a school with children like himself. There he learned how to master his unique powers and how to use them to defend others though he could never get himself to use them to their full potential for combat.
As the world outside got darker and darker though Rhyme started to have blackouts. At first there were few and far between but after he left and started to live on his own they started to come faster and lasted longer. During this time he continued to bum around the world using his power to easily make money and at times ‘make’ money. He ended up spending six years of his life in Tokyo who had a large underground mutant population. While he was there he started up a relation with another mutant Haru with the power to bend the water in the air to make illusions.
Only a year ago though marked the time when Rhyme officially died. Haru left to see if he could find what was left of his family to see if they would forgive him but when he was gone Tokyo was destroyed most likely killing his boyfriend in the process. That revelation caused the last and final blackout for Rhyme. After that moment only Artemis remained.
With Artemis fully awakened he searched until he found the Brotherhood agreeing with their beliefs that humans and mutants could not get along. Human made sentinels destroyed the love of his life whose power could never be used violently.
