Personality:
Jacob once was known as the psycho mutant Cain Melina. However after a feirce battle on Nightmare Island left him scarred, a reconstructive surgery changed him to Jacob Drake. The exact opposite of his former counterpart, Jacob is a man that seldom speaks. When he does, it's a short conversation, unless it involves a serious situation. Otherwise his silent behavior would make you wonder if this really was Cain at one point.

Though not what you'd call the "strong, silent type", Jacob does his best to stay out of the worlds problems. His memories as Cain had left him scarred as much on the inside as the battle did on the outside. Plagued by nightmares and faces, he sleeps very seldom, but that doesn't keep him from following orders when given to him.

Rarely traveling out into public, Jacob spends most of his time at the base doing random and sometimes even mediocre tasks. When he does travel outside, howerver, he tries to make sure he keeps a saft distance from large crowds and even manages to avoid cities and towns if he can help it.

Power(s): Jacob has the ability to manipulate any element he touches as well as shape them or use them as weapons, he is able to travel from one point to the other by means of the elements he uses, can also change his form to that of any element he touches (fire, water, earth, metal, etc.).

Weakness(s): When he is in "elemental mode", Cain can be damaged or even killed when the opposite element is used, otherwise the normal human/mutant weaknesses affect him. His powers, at one point unlimited, are now only able to work by means of one element or another. Jacob cannot use both at once, and changing from one element to the other tends to weaken him when used over the period of an hour.
Cause: Jacob has had this power for as long as he can remember.

Other skills: Jacob still has the memories he did when he was Cain, as well as the knowledge of the things, people and even places that he had been. In other words, he still remembers the location of all the bases of mutants, as well as every member of the X-Men and Brotherhood
