Birth name: Corbin Wagner
Alias: Gloom
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Birthday: December, 25 1991
. only skin deep
Celebrity claim: none
Appearance: Standing 5’9” and weighing 157lbs Gloom has the Neyaphem features of his mother Nocturne and grandfather Nightcrawler. His skin is a dark blue with indigo hair and shining pupil-less yellow eyes. He has a prehensile tail that can hold his weight and his teeth are naturally pointed along with his ears. Gloom has 3 fingers and 3 toes on each hand and foot respectively. Unlike his grandfather his skin is hairless except for his head. He is incapable of growing facial or body hair. And unlike his mother his tail cannot be retracted, instead it is always present. He has sharp elf-like features with a sharp nose and chin with high cheekbones and lips on the thinner side.
. on the inside that counts
Personality: Gloom has his family’s trickster personality, he loved to play practical jokes and wit his teleportation power he can pull off some incredible pranks. He can sometimes go a little too far and make people angry but when he does he always tries to set things right. He loves to practice with his spear preferring them to his Brimstone Bolts as he sees them as unsporting unless he is in a dire situation. He is incredibly talented in the art of the spear and in martial arts in general and takes pride in being able to best opponents bigger than himself. Sometimes he can bite off more than he can chew and get a lesson in humility with a pounding.
Gloom has long ago come to terms with his physical appearance. In his younger days he would go into depressions over his outward appearance, thinking himself unattractive to others. His mother and grandfather helped him through this period. If his grandfather and mother could find someone to love them then he surely could as well. Gloom is not necessarily part of the popular crowd tending to be on the fringe groups socially. He is a bit awkward socially; he had a crush on one of his school mates for years but never had the courage to tell her despite being extremely brave in combat situations.
Raised apart from his mother being a member of Excalibur in England and his father having died before he was born he was virtually raised at the Institute with his Grandfather Kurt, he wishes he had gotten to know his mother personally rather than second hand through his Grandfather. In this new Reality he was never born but he still calls Nightcrawler Grandpapa on accident, a hard habit to break.

. some of us are, different
FOR MUTANTS, Leave blank if you are human.
Power(s):Smoke Teleportation: by opening a portal to the Brimstone Dimension, traveling through it and re-opining another portal to his home dimension he can instantaneously travel from one location to another displacing any liquid and or gas where his body will be. The smoke left behind from his teleportation smells strongly of sulfur. This is a power that his grandfather Kurt Wagner a.k.a. Nightcrawler possesses.
Superhuman Agility: with a flexible spine Gloom is capable of contortionist like acts along with enhanced reflexes. This along with his tail makes him a naturally gifted acrobat, something his mother Talia and grandfather Kurt both have in common with him.
Brimstone Bolts: these are bolts of energy from the Brimstone Dimension his grandfather Nightcrawler teleports through and his great grandfather, the ruler of the Neyaphem, Azazel resides in. These bolts smell strongly of sulfur and are extremely hot, causing painful burns even in small flashes. This is a power similar to Nocturne’s Hex Bolts.
NOT ALL POWER COMBINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!)
Weakness(s): The blood of the Cheyarafim (Warren “Angel” Worthington III and Joshua “Icarus” Guthrie) is painful on contact with his skin, acting like holy water to a vampire where it would usually heal other beings.
If Gloom teleports somewhere he has not seen before he runs the risk of severe injury or death by teleporting part way or completely inside a solid object. Gloom finds it slightly harder to teleport east and west against earth’s magnetic lines of force than it is north and south with them as well as teleporting into the air. 3 miles north and south, 2 miles east and west as well as straight up if he exerts himself. If he teleports while he is in motion he retains his momentum upon re-entry. This can be counteracted by teleporting backwards quickly.
Summoning his Brimstone Bolts drains his energy quickly only able to summon 6 or 7 well sized bolts to do any sizeable damage before he is exhausted.
Cause: Gloom was born with his physical appearance and powers of agility his teleporting powers manifested at age 12 when he sneezed and teleported to the roof of the X Mansion luckily he didn’t teleport inside anything and was uninjured. At age 16 his Brimstone Bolt powers manifested while in a danger room simulation he blasted apart a plasma gun turret after trying for years to duplicate his mother’s Hex Bolt ability.

Anything else: Born to Talia Josephine Wagner and John Proudstar originally named Corbin Proudstar he had his last name legally changed to Wagner once he turned 18. Raised in the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters he was trained from a a young age in Martial Arts, unlike his grandfather who was a professional level swordsman Corbin chpose to train in the use of the Yima Spear. While studying in his room for an algebra test he sneezed and found himself teleported to the roof of the Institute, thankfully he did not teleport into any solid objects. Training in the Danger Room on a mid level simulation involving dodging plasma fire Corbin now going by the alias Gloom, managed to fire a powerful Brimstone Bolt destroying the Plasma Gun turret. While visiting his friend Franklin Richards the son of Reed Richards leader of the Fantastic Four Franklin wanted to try and use his friend’s teleporting power to travel backwards and forwards in time. Through an unfortunate miscalculation the device that was being used to augment Gloom’s powers caused him to teleport from his current reality. Coming to rest in this reality Gloom sought out the Xavier Institute the device having been destroyed during his teleportation through the Brimstone Dimension not being able to endure the harsh environment of the Dimension even for the infinitesimal amount of time between traveling in and out of the dimension. With no way to rebuild the teleportation augmentation device and no knowledge of what caused the device to enable him to teleport to this reality he is stuck here.
