Gender: Female
Age: 15

Appearance: Kiya's clothes is quite plane, considering it's her only outfit. Be that as it may, she has a uncanny ability to keep it clean. Anyways, it is a simple, black t-shirt that hugs her small form quite nicely that covers her bra, and a long gash down her side. She also has a small black jacket that she wears when it gets to cold for her plain outfit. Otherwise, it is safely tucked away in her shoulder bag that goes over her shoulder and sits on her side. She also wears plain, black combat boots and black, baggy jeans to go with them. Along with jeans, she has a simple leather belt with slight spikes running across it. Kiya also adorns no jewelry except a plain gold chain that she never takes off, and never reveals where she got it from. Of course, no intimidating outfit would be complete without your plain, black, cut of fingered gloves. Kiya, definitely, has an outfit to go with her kick butt attitude. She also has a scar running from her underarm to her waist on the right side of her body.
on the inside that counts
Personality: Kiya's got spunk, there are no two ways around it. She would stand her own against a championship wrestler if she had to. She has nearly no sense of fear, though, that's no always a good thing. She can be a real bad ass when she wants to be, and is a master bluffer. Her life on the streets has taught her that much. Along with this, her mouth is yet another problem. Sure, she can stop it whenever she want's to, most of the time, but that doesn't mean that she does. She will mouth off to nearly anyone who she think that they think they are "better" then her, or "more powerful" then her. To her, speaking out if the only way to prove that she isn't a weak little girl, that she wont let people walk all over her. Her life on the streets has been hard, so, with it, she has hardened into a lean, down right mean, fighter.
She does have some goals though. Really, Kiya's only goal is to find a family, of course, this is unknown to her. All she knows is that the only thing that is important is to survive until the next day, taking life day by day until she dies. She really has no concern of whether she lives or dies, that's what her rambunctious, spunky, fearless nature spurs from. She has nearly given up on the prospect of revenge, though, she has never forgotten the hatred that she holds for men like the ones that took her family. Kiya though, if she ever find the men who sent the men who stole so much from her, will be sure to kill them in the most murderess, painful way she can imagine. And that night left her with plenty of ideas. Kiya only has one thing to say to the men that she probably wont ever see again. If she does see them, they are going to wish they were dead.

FOR MUTANTS
Power(s): Blood Enhancement Kiya's blood is very special. Not only does it have benefits for her, it also has benefits for others. Kiya's blood is able to enhance the speed, strength, agility, and over all endurace of any living thing for a short amount of time. Though, as every mutant does, Kiya had side effects for her powers as well. And sometime's Kiya's side effect can be deadly to both her and those around her.
The strengths of her powers include the following. Kiya can manipulate the chemical compounds of her blood to make them burn like acid. She can also make them harden like steel and form into various shapes and sizes. Such as in daggers, keys, or other useful weapons and items. Along with that, she can control the carbon output of her body, which can harden it slightly. This helps when she is trying to survive a strong blow, though, it only reduces the impact and damage of the blow slightly. She can also control where they go, and the thickness of her blood, therefore it is harder for her to become overheated or get hypothermia and she can make it flow around her like water or protective shields if she wanted. Along with that, it can also multiply and regenerate quickly. Therefore, should she have blood loss during an activity, it would not take long for her blood to replenish and the side effects of blood loss to disappear. Kiya is working on being able to regenerate blood and skin, but it doesn't look to hopeful, unless she has major help.
Weaknesses Alas though, all powers must have their side effects, and Kiya is no different. She suffers from tiredness often for her blood is always working, and that uses a LOT of energy. All energy needs fuel though, so Kiya must consume approximately two to three times more then the average human. Along with that, she also has a very short temper and is easily angered. Though, when she is angered enough, she tends to "loose control" of her powers and they run rampant with a mind of their own. A mind for destruction and pain. And yes, Kiya has killed before, not of her own want, but of her power's want. It is almost as if her powers of blood need to spill blood in order to be satisfied. Therefore, Kiya has, sadly, become an emotionless shell of her former, happier, life. Though, she still is up for the greatest adventures she could have. That usually makes her seem carefree when it comes to the preservation of her life, and, will happily go into conflict with people should they provoke her enough.
Cause: Initial Awakening The traumatic death of her parents (explained in History)
Extreme Awakenings: An explosion of large amounts of anger from her. (She will lose control of her powers, though, it is rare to see her this upset.)
Regular Use Clear concentration with minimal distractants. Mainly a clear, emotionless head. That is why she rarely shows any emotion.
Other skills:
*Acrobatics
*Stamina
*Agility

Allegiance: X-Men (Most likely to change)
History: Kiya loved her family, that much she does know. It was a wondrously bland family, just Kiya, her mom and her dad. But it was what Kiya had, which is more than what can be said for her now, and she loved them. She still does, even thought they were maliciously ripped away from her. It all began one night, not to long ago either. Kiya was lounging by on her bed reading a magazine and absentmindedly listening to the TV when it happened. Her mother, the most kindest, sweetest, funniest, the - list - could - go - on, person Kiya had ever known got up to answer the doorbell. And died. Gun shots rang out as Kiya flew through the house and nearly hurtled the stairs, just in time to see her mother, drowning in her own blood, loose her life.
Blood pooled on her favorite rug, there was so much blood! As Kiya ran to her mom, and dropped to her knees screaming for her mother to come back, two more shot deftly whizzed over her head. Her heart was in her throat, it's beat bounding on her ear drums as tear blurred vision just caught her father falling to the ground. Why was this happening to her?! As Kiya cradled her mom, the blood pooling on her favorite pants, the men stomped past her father, one even had the nerve to kick him down as he tried to scrambled for air! That's when it happened. That's when Kiya's life changed forever.
Kiya cannot remember much before she blacked out. All she can remember is that her mother's blood began to flow around her, then the screams came. Screams of pure pain and horror, music to her ears. Her mother's blood was slowly killing them, burning them from the inside out over and over again, and Kiya let it. She allowed her hatred to fuel the blood, allowed the blood to get what it wanted, more of the crimson liquid to be shed. It was then that Kiya would fall unconscious. Then, when she came too, she would find the mutilated corpses of the men that killed her family, stole it all away. In horror, Kiya then ran upstairs, vomited, and threw on more clean clothes afterwards.
With on longing look back at the simple life she knew she could never return to, she slung her one strap shoulder bag over her head and began to walk. Kiya had no idea where she was going, just that she needed to leave. She lived about five months on the streets, barely making it along, when it happened. Another life changing day. A man had driving up to her in a lean black car and said only two words to her. "Get in." Without caring, for Kiya didn't really care that much anymore what happened to her, she scrambled into the care.
Suddenly, a man was beside her, and then a needle was in her neck. Kiya could just catch the deep red hue of his blood of his skin and a small conversation before she blacked out. This is what she heard.
"Do you think this is the one?"
"Yeah, it has to be. Look at her eyes!" Kiya's eyes had an uncanny ability to turn bright red whenever her body thought she was in danger
"You're right." Came the gruff voice of the red skinned man
"She's dangerous, we need to get her there soon before..." And she then fell into a world of blackness.
When she came too, she had a slight headache, but, like all of her ailments, it was quick to disappear. She was sitting on a bench underneath a tree that was just beginning to loose it's blossoms. She groaned, rolling her head she cracked her neck. It was then that she had a piece of paper in her hand. Looking at it, it had once simple direction.
Find The Professor.
She then looked up, and realized she was in front of an elegant school like mansion. So, with nothing more to do, and no idea where she was, she gathered her bag and set off towards the building. And, with a strange feeling, a new life.
