Appearance: Aphrodite is described to be the most beautiful girl in the history of the world. people often compare her beauty to that of a goddess she has long blond hair and brown eyes people often say she could stop a man in his tracks with a single glance. She is Caucasian and slightly tanned although there is a small paleness that gives her skin a white tint to it. She has no scars or piercings nor tattoos. No birth marks or defects about her.

Aphrodite has a beautiful smile that is slightly crooked and mischievous, Aphrodite’s dress sense is a wide range most of the time she likes to wear something casual and conservative. She likes dresses more than jeans, but will wear jeans as well. Aphrodite also likes to wear sunglasses too, a lot of the time she gets frustrated with guys fawning over her so she has her hair up in a pony tail instead of having it hang off her shoulders. There are times Aphrodite will wear something stunning and less conservative again it all depends on her mood.

Aphrodite’s x-men uniform would be a skin tight black outfit that is tight the outfit is sleeveless and has a V shape showing off a bit of cleave but nothing too skanky. On the right upper part is a white X symbolizing the xmen crest and around her waist is a Belt with a black belt strap and silver X buckle around it. Aphrodite wears white boots and gloves

Personality: Aphrodite Young is a kind hearted and sweet young lady, she is willing to help and protect her friends. She has warmth about her that can make everything cold and distant go away. She is also naïve and has a sense of childlike innocence. About her, she is very bright, but naïve about life. Aphrodite hates people pitying her because she is deaf, she has experienced this all her life which is what caused her to rebel against it and anything else in particular even the law. Aphrodite has previously acted out by shop lifting and vandalizing. She will go about and do things her own way being very stubborn.

Being deaf Aphrodite has learned how to blend in with people who can hear, she can lip read and do almost anything normal people can do as long as it’s not hearing based like listening, although she has learned how to dance to the music, by watching those around her this allows her to blend in. Of course being from a small town Aphrodite has often been picked on which is what forced Her to get her own brand of justice, in the past she has given cheerleaders cookies with laxatives as an ingredient and locked all the girls bathrooms in the school. She has also put itching powder in some of the cheerleaders underwear’s so people think the cheerleaders have sexually transmitted infections.

Aphrodite can be aggressive too and very violent, when mad she can be down right mean, she is also very stubborn and determined she will not stop until she accomplishes what she sets out to do. Aphrodite is also a very quiet girl she never speaks if she can help it, her classmates assume she is a mute as well; the truth is she is very sensitive about speaking, because she couldn’t learn sounds meaning she is afraid to make a fool out of herself. Aphrodite can speak, but she won’t unless she trusts that person and has no other choice. She would rather sign language

recently she has been admitted in a mental asylum, diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, when really she is a telepath. Aphrodite has become a little mentally unhinged after being in a mental institute she that allows her to be mentally manipulated a lot easier, since she will trust anyone whom is kind to her; she also has difficulty telling the difference right and wrong. Aphrodite is prone bizarre behavior by doing different things. She is pretty much a child in a teenager’s body

She is often seen doing strange things and behaving oddly, She will even think bizarre thoughts and send bizarre thoughts to people's heads telepathically,[once she gains control over her abilities]. Aphrodite often question her sanity, by questioning if the reality around her, an example would be whether it’s really happening or all in her head.

Although she is a little unhinged there are times when Aphrodite is almost normal, and have very deep and insightful thoughts and views, there is so much more to her than what is mention, but one thing is known about Aphrodite for certain There is a lot more to her than meets the eye she at times can be a bit of a sneak and very mischievous

Telepathy:Aphrodite has the ability to read mind of people and animals. This is difficult because she is deaf and has never heard any other person’s voice before. Aphrodite can do more than just hear the thoughts of those around her; she can also see the memories of others in her mind like she can actually see it. Aphrodite can also smell the memories an example if someone had a memory of the ocean she could smell the scent of the ocean.

Along with that she is able to create telepathic bonds that connect on a mental and empathic level linking two minds together. So it would be like the people could hear each others thoughts & feel each other’s emotions and know where they are. They would be able to communicate and sense each other no matter the distance. Also has the capacity to detect other life forms around her and distinguish between mutants and humans. Aphrodite’s telepathy isn’t just passive, but she does have some offensive capabilities to her telepathy.

She is capable of projecting her thoughts into the heads of others, normally this is a method for communicating, but she could also use it as an offensive way to project the thoughts of those around her into victim. She is also capable of torturing other people telepathically to cause a person mental pain, creating scenarios based on her choice anything from where the person thinks their getting Stabbed to being set on fire. She can also erase memories and plant thoughts of doubt into a person’s head how she does that is she projects her thoughts into someone’s head, but her thoughts sound like that person’s thoughts making them believe their in fact doubting themselves.

Aphrodite is new to her mutation and she has only had her power for one year, and has no control over her power she is hearing the thoughts of others 24/7 which has made her slightly unhinged reducing her mentality from a teenager to a child. At the moment that’s all she can do is hear the thoughts of others, she is able to create the mental bonds, smell and see memories, but only if their thinking of it she cannot probe minds yet but she. Being new to her abilities Aphrodite has a range of 30 meters she does have the potential turn off her telepathy, but she has to be taught how to shut out everyone’s thoughts. She could also increase her range once she grows older and has better control of her power and once that happens she will able to do everything mentioned above.

Because of her poor control, she occasionally sends her thoughts into other people’s heads so they will hear her thoughts and see thoughts in her head like visuals, but this is not intentional it’s due to her poor control over her powers.

Telekinesis: Aphrodite’s secondary power is to move objects with her mind, she is capable of lifting up to a person, as she once made herself levitate using this power. She can use this power to make things break and shatter an example was when her telepathy awakened and she became overwhelmed by her classmates thoughts and the class windows cracked and shattered. At the moment things around Aphrodite either shatters, float or is thrown across the room on it’s own. She has absolutely no control over this power.

If she is trained in this ability, she will have the potential to control what she moves, she would also be able to do normal things telekinetically by this, Aphrodite could drive a car without even touching the ignition or steering wheel, she could unlock locks all by visualization alone. She would be able to make herself fly by lifting herself telekinetically. So far the heaviest thing she has lifted would be her bed with her on it. This ability is based on Aphrodite’s emotions, if she is distraught or upset she will have no control over this power.

It’s unpredictable at best. If she is contempt and calm then she will have some form of control. Whatever she lifts will be difficult and exhaust her, but if she is upset then things aren’t lifted their thrown and things will tend to blow up around her from glass to appliances even light bulbs. As she grows older, she may gain better control over her ability and perhaps be able to lift heavier objects.

Weakness:Aphrodite is a human so she pretty much has the vulerablities that normal humans have, like she can get killed by guns, knives and all that jazz along so be a friend and leave the guns and the knives at home.

She also has a mental weakness where the more thoughts she listens to the more eratic her behaviour and the more difficult it is for her to control her powers meaning she could be a threat to others even her own alies.

Anything else: Aphrodite was born and raised Harlow, Uk she was born in the family home on the dinning table to be more accurate. She was born a week premature after her birth Aphrodite and her mother was taken to the hospital for care where it was discovered that she had a hearing defect that made her deaf. This disability was difficult for her parents to deal with. Aphrodite’s childhood was almost normal while kids her age learned to read, she learned that along with lip reading and sign language.

Being disabled she had a difficult time finding friends, not many children wanted to interact with someone who was disabled which often left Aphrodite alone. This did not change as she grew older she was often picked on for being deaf they the children only became meaner calling her a defect, retard and a freak among other names. These events left the young lady feeling emotionally scared seeing as she was an outcast she retreated into the world of books and writing along with drawing, but even with these creative outlets she became a little bitter towards people and mistrusting.

Things only got worse when she turned ten and her mother was killed in a hit and run accident, which made Aphrodite become hostile and aggressive when others picked on her because she was grieving with the death of her mother. This caused Aphrodite to become more reclusive and anti social. At the age of fourteen Aphrodite’s father remarried a woman whom she loathed making things even more difficult for her. She became distant with her father, and her new step mother was just a plain bitch in sheep’s clothing. By the age of sixteen Aphrodite gained a reputation for a trouble maker being known for vandalizing public property, participating in smoking pot and underage drinking. She wanted the world to notice her for herself and not for her disability and was doing the best way she knew how.

She was still distant from her father and step mother, Aphrodite spent her time in the barn where she turned it into a sanctuary where it had books and a desk and lamps so she could read and write. She also hid her pot there, at the age of seventeen On no particular morning Aphrodite woke up and she felt different she couldn’t put her finger on it, but she did feel different and when she did get to school she started hearing voices in her classroom, hearing the thoughts of all her peers and teacher and anyone within thirty meters Aphrodite began to develop a headache, all their thoughts was too much and unknown by her, she had telekinesis which forced the classroom windows to crack and shatter leaving everyone including herself frightened.

After school that day, when Aphrodite went home she was still shaken up about her day and she wanted to confide in her father. Instead she heard her father’s thoughts of being a disappointment and a delinquent and how her mother would be ashamed of her. After hearing that she shut down completely after two days of hearing the thoughts of those around her Aphrodite could not take anymore she attempted suicide by overdosing herself on sleeping pills. She didn’t end up dying as her father found her in the bath with running water in the tub

after being taken to the hospital and speaking with the doctors, the doctor diagnosed Aphrodite with multiple personality disorder and told her parents that she could be a danger to herself and others, it was then Aphrodite’s step mother suggested placing young Aphrodite in a mental asylum in new york where she could get the treatment she so desperately needed which her father reluctantly agreed on. Of course like any sane teenager Aphrodite did not want to be admitted, but her father refused to listen and admitted her in the asylum after being admitted Aphrodite found the voices getting worse, there were times when she was asleep her room would get trashed while she was a sleep having no idea that her telekinesis was going nuts from the lack of control which resulted in her being strapped to her bed when she slept.

A year later Aphrodite’s recovery was non existent, hearing the thoughts of crazy people 24/7 had made her unhinged and slightly crazy to the point of her regressing to a child, some of the workers suspected something odd about her mainly because things tend to break around her when she is pushed to far. One day when it came to her medicine Aphrodite’s refused which lead to the nurse forcing her to take it and buying her time in solitary confinement for refusing to take her meds.
