Alone at night [Ben "Drake"]

*Aryanna laughed when he mentioned that she wasn’t evil.* O sweet heart, I know plenty of people who could prove you wrong on that. Most of them are related to me. *Fury’s weren’t exactly known for being nice all the time, especially if you watched them behind the scenes. True they worked perfectly with each other and everything went smoothly, but they were still family.*

Well it’s Victoria, she goes by Vicky, but I call her Vic when I’m too lazy to say her other name *When Ben wraped his arms around her once again, Aryanna put her arms around his neck. She watched as they flew over the city, it was beautiful and fun to fly over everyone. As they reached the water Aryanna stretched one of her hands down and felt the cold water on her hand. She laughed and smiled. She didn’t know why she enjoyed it, but she just did.*

*They landed on the top of Lady Liberty and Aryanna looked out to see the city, this was the best time of her life...well other than the other best parts of her life. They stayed up on the head of the wonderful lady for what felt like hours. But after a while Aryanna did want to walk around the ground.*

*Once on the ground the two started to walk, wow it felt like they were actually a real couple. It felt great, it had been a long time since Aryanna had felt this way.* So how long have you been in the NYC?

Looking at the city with her was nice he enjoyed it yes he wasn't getting things he needed to get down but he was do that latter some other time. When she wanted down he gladley flew her down and walked around with her on the island not realizing that he was hand in hand with her.

The island it self was lovely with new flowers coming in he was sure it be lovelyer during the day but then she had asked something the question took him off guard for a bit, “I've been around the state most my life havent moved off the cost much, but for the city its self about....” he counted in his head then started to think out load “lets see I was 16 when my power develop then I moved around for about 2 years by my self so I’ve been in the city for about 4 years but I visited a lot as a kid and would spend a summer break hear or something” he paused for a bit “do you no how long your going to be hear and is there anyway maybe you chould stay....?”

He gave her a small smile and kept walking down the road watching everything but mostly aryanna she looked so lovely in the moonlight he did wish he could just take her home.

*Aryanna did the math in her head as he spoke out loud. That mean that he was a couple years older than her, that was cool. Then it came around to her. Aryanna shook her head.* I'm not sure, I think it will be a while, but my family moves around a lot. *Then he asked a question that made her look to the ground. It was silent for a few moments before she looked up at Angel.* My family needs me, and I can't just get up and leave. *It was more than true. She was a big part of the family business, so where the test of her cousins. She looked back to the ground, not wanting to have said that.*

*But with that question Aryanna wondered if he already knew what the family business was? If he did, he sure took it well. Or he just thought that she had punked him and gave him a fake address that happened to lead to a new circus in town. She wanted to ask but she worried about the whole "freak show vs circus" conversation. This was mostly because he had probably been viewed as a freak for a good portion of his life. For that Aryanna worried about their relationship. Was he keeping quiet to not ruin it? Or did he really not care?*

When she looked to the ground when he asked the question he looked at her stoping for a moment, “I guess I can relate i'd never be able to leave the city I have a family of sorts that needs me to” he looked at her for a momnet something seemed to be on her mind she wasn't really all that happy right now or as happy almost like she really didn't want to go but she knew she had to.

“Aryanna what wrong, there seems to be something on your mind you can tell me...” he looked her in the eyes his deep sliver eyes looking into her blue eyes. He wanted to know so much about her part of him wanted to ask more about what she did for the family that was so important she couldn’t leave for a day or two maybe a week or longer there was so much he could show her in new york that he felt that she would love, small simple things yet big at the same time, like the bands that play in the subways, a club that people under 21 choud go into that was mostly for poker.

*Then he asked, there was a part of Aryanna that wanted to talk about this, but most of her really wanted to change the subject. But if they were going to be going out steadily...they needed to talk about this. Especially with they way she felt for him, and she hoped that he felt for her.* Well I have three siblings, two of them are sisters, the other a brother. Lots of cousins and good friends. I can't remember a place that we stayed in for more than two years. Because of that I was home schooled, every one is. I now work for my family business and I love it there.

*All she said was true, but she wasn't going to mention the circus part...not quite yet, maybe not ever...if she could help it. she just didn't plan on ever leaving it. She was needed. She was in charge of lights and technology. she was the little lucky techy. It was dorky but that was what she loved to do. She knew that it would come up soon, and then she would explain about her being a gypsy and what they do in the circus.*

He lessioned as he talked about her family he gave her a small smile but didn't say anything tell she was done, he was a bit confused that she just started talking about her family like this sisters a brother cousins and friends, how she was home-schooled he didn't know where she was going with this but he figured it was best for him to tell her about his life a bit.

“I grew up with my family when I was younger I am catholic when I was younger my family sent me to an all boys school that was more focused on the church then anything, I've never moved around much when my powers activated I ran off..” he stoped there he knew she wasn't telling the hole truth the was something on her mind maybe she slowly needed to talk it out he tell her what she needed to know. He wanted he to trust her so he could trust her “Aryanna don't you trust me...you said I wasn't a bad guy so why are you randomly telling me about your family....do you want me to meet them or something....isn't that something more for when..um I mean...if we ever dated” he blushed at that last part he like to see if things worked out but she was clousing her self off form her.

*Aryanna smiled. She could just imagine how messed up a church school had to be to let in a Fury. Mostly Gypsys, the Fury family wasn’t really on any side, religion wise. She just emagined Vicky or Lainey in a all girls cathic school. Either the school would be bright clown colors or in flames by the end of the first day, of course with many children crying and running away. Truely the circus was the only place for them.*

*They Angel started to go off about trust. Why didn’t she trust him? What reason did he give her to not turst him?* Well you asked me what was on my mind. My wacky fun family was on my mind. *She smiled up at Ben. He was so sweet.* As for meeting them....I’d prefer you not to meet them. Just now, at least. *She didn’t want to say it but it was for his own safety. Her family wasn’t exactly afraid to say what was on their minds. They also would trick him out of all his money, if he had any money. She didn’t want him to get hurt. If anything she wanted to protect Angel from that crazyness. Aryanna wanted to laugh. She wished she was dating Angel. If she wanted to she could call these dates. Her family probably would.*

*Realizing the mood was getting down Aryanna thought for a moment. She walked a little faster, and supn so that she was in front of Ben. She gave him a smile and looked at him straight in the eyes.* If you catch me I’ll tell you a secret. *Then she turned and started to run way, her fingers slipping out of Angels hand.*

Ben watched her carefully every movement in her body for any sign of lieing or but he could tell that wasn't lieing about her wacky family and that she didn't want him to meet them he just nodded at still wanting to know why she hadn't come out and said who her family was yet.

When she walked a little faster Ben watched until she quickly turned around his eyes didn't leave her as she spoke and a smirk grew on his face as she took off. Ben gave her 5 seconds before he jumped and flew he was able to fly much faster then run and this was now a game he was going to catch her she get tired sometime and when his wings got tired he still got his feet to run with. He was fast when he flew but you could tell that he wasn't going his fastest yet he wanted to see what tricks he had up her selves if she could out wit him some how he new the area better then her “clover your not getting away form me” he laughed “i'm going to know that secret” his large black wings beated in the air at a nice even pase he loved the feel of flying.

*There was a good reason why Aryanna didn’t want Ben to meet her family. One, he seemed insecure with his looks. Two, he seemed innocent of sorts. Those two, and others, were good reasons why he shouldn’t meet her family.*

*Ayranna took off, but laughed along the way. She was having fun with this. She felt happy that she could be herself and show Angel that she loved to have fun. She looked over her shoulder just in time to see Angel take off. She wasn’t going to get caught that easily. She started to hop over trash cans and hand rails. It looked like a beautiful dance but also like she was fighting and dodging obstacles. She went under and over things, not moving in a straight line. She wasn't running as fast as she could, that was mostly because she was laughing so hard. She had a big grin on her face and tried to stay out of Angels grasp. She could tell that he wasn’t trying his hardest, and neither was she. But Aryanna didn’t care if she got caught or not, it was just fun to be running and goofing around with Angel.*

She was lovely as she moved around jumping over trash cans and ducking threw things, With her moving around so much speed wise it was easy to keep up with her but when ever she go threw somewhere small he have to fly above it and hope she come out the other end. One of the major disadvantages to large wings.

Do to the fact that she was moving around so fast Ben did have to speed up he new she wasn't trying as hard as she could but neater was he, he saw about where she was going to run to and flew ahead of her and landed on the ground traping her in a corner “tis tis you better give up now sunshine your luck won't keep you away from me forever” he smiled at her he was joking around he knew that if she wanted to she could probuly use her powers and something would happen like he trip and fall on his face or he catch a wing or on something. But this was a game to him he was googing off he was full on planing on tackeling her to the ground anyway weather she gave up now or turned an ran the other way.

*Aryanna moved and sometimes when she went through something small she would wait for a little while, realizing that Ben couldn’t follow her, she darted back the same way she came in, deciding to change things up a little bit. It worked for a while, that was until she started to enjoy the game to much. She focused on where Ben was.*

*As Aryanna ran she looked back to see where Ben was. She was almost surprised to see that he wasn’t there. That was when she heard his voice, he was infront of her. She looked just in time to charge right into his strong chest. With a slight blush she smiled.* Looks like I loose. You win...this time. *Wow if losing felt like this, she might just try it more often. She didn’t move from Ben for quite a while, feeling the warmth of his body, and the safeness of his body. She loved being close to him, and she didn’t want to move. In all the excitement Aryanna had completely forgotten that she had promised Ben a Secret if he won.*

Ben was shocked when she ran right in to him he did have enough time to catch him self to make sure he didn't fall back and to wrap his arms around her. He chucked when he said that he won he sliped her fingers in her hair and smiled “so if I win that means I get the prize right”

He said it with a smirk, tackeling her before she chould take off again just so they could rush a little look at the night sky. “you promised a secret isn't that right” he said with a smile he was panting a little as easy as it he tried to make flying seem he been flying and active most the night and cashing her around did get a bit trieing but was well worth it in the end just to have her in his arms again. He wondered what type of guy she was attertied but he didn't know why he even thought about that kind of stuff because as much fun as they had Ben knew that she wasn't going to stay and she was sure these staying up all night and working all day was going to kill her after awile she have to sleep sometime.

*Aryanna almost forgot about the prize that she promised, she then racked her brain, trying to remember what that secret was. Before she could run away she felt his strong wings encircle her. She closed her eyes and fell into the strong man that held her now. With a smile she looked up to see Ben’s face.* Are you sure you want to know? It could change life as we know it.

*She smiled mischievously at him and prepared to tell the secret. After a while of waiting she thought that she couldn’t stall it anymore. So without fail she took a deep breath and look up into Angel’s eyes.* As long as I’m in New York I want to keep seeing you, and maybe even consider this dating.

*Aryanna was getting older, and she didn’t want to be old and alone like some of the other members. She wanted to have a boyfriend, and Angel just made her feel so happy, but she didn’t know how he would respond to what she had to say. So she turned away, still in his grasp, but away from his warm and strong chest. Worried about what he would say to her confession.*

Ben looked at her and watched her smile for a moment before she told him, he looked at her his mouth droped when she said that maybe consider dating then she quickly turned away from him he doped his wings and looked at her for a long moment thinking for a moment this was a dream.

He pulled her closer for a second, and held her not wanting to let go “Aryanna that was your little secret, wanting to spend time with me....well..what if I told you yes but...” he paused trying to think of the right words for this but maybe pausing for a bit to long for comfort “wouldn’t it be nice if we where more then just two friends dating each other on the side you no became more then friends” he ruffled his wings wanting to know her answer to his question he knew they could only date for a bit but he wanted to make the best of it why they could scene they weren’t going to be a normal cupple anyway.

*Worried at first Aryanna thought that she had ruined everything, now she would need to find a new night time past time. Well she couldn’t bother anyone that late... that was her thoughts until he pulled her closer to him. Understanding that he was just shocked by what she said she leaned into his strong body once again. She listened to the first part of his sentence and smiled, She rested her head onto him and letting out a breath of relief. This was the perfect night. The night sky was nice and clear, not a cloud in sight. They had flown to the Statue of Liberty, and played a game of catch the girl. Now they were having a romantic moment. It was a date, and it was perfect in Aryanna’s eyes.*

*Then came the second part. There was quite some hesitation, like he was nervous. She thought about his offer, not sure what to say, she moved to pull away and turned around, wrapping her arms around her Angel’s neck and looking up at him with a warm smile. Raising so she could reach, Aryanna whispered into the winged man’s ear.* Yes. *Then she fell slightly raising again to softly place her lips upon his.*
